The room is a suite and great. The maid service comes daily. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast and dinner, both of which are phenomenal thanks largely due to the lady who prepares both. And the hotel itself is directly across the street from the mall and a movie theater which is a huge plus. In addition to which close to dozens of restaurants.

Went out for dinner and discovered the door ajar when I returned. Only way to close it securely was to slam it. Found the workout room has both treadmills out of order. As I use a treadmill every morning to work out, it was a bit irritating during this day to not be able to use them.
Back again, next month. Treadmills now working!! They have also added Digital Key that uses your smart phone to unlock your room, workout room etc.,,

Awesome pool, there they've got an evening happy hour go during the week that saves on having to go out for dinner... Wine, beer & delicious food!

The hotel is ok, just kids managing, very nice kid's but need experience, the room so so, the paper on the wall of the bathroom tear, the room keys didn't work, the only thing that's very good is breakfast, Veronica very helpful and her"salsa" the best. It neads alot of improvement.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Ice machine didn't work though. Even though the stay was great, the sound of the birds outside sounded worse than a train going by. I highly recommend that management look into a remedy for that.

Very friendly staff and incredibly accommodating. Breakfast could be better but rooms are nice and really love the convenience of the kitchen. Perfect for long stays and/or families. Carlos at the front counter was so professional and welcoming!

This Homewood Suites was a wonderful hotel! We first checked into the Residence Inn by Marriott on Lost Oaks Blvd for the first of a ten day trip. At the Residence Inn the rooms were older, in need of repair, the room had an odd smell, the hotel should have been cleaner, the bed was horrible & old, & the staff was not helpful nor did they speak English. Upon moving to the Homewood Suites every one if these issues corrected themselves, plus more! The staff went above & beyond to ensure the guests had what they needed, the rooms were superb, the beds were top of the line, the food was good, & the pool was divine. The pool was like a private oasis, surrounded by beautiful plants & lounge chairs in a private, quiet setting. I can't say enough good things about this hotel or its location. Next time I'm in Laredo, I'll be staying at the Homewood Suites. Highly recommend this location.

Nice hotel and reasonable price especially given that all the rooms are either suites or semi suites. But all have full kitchens. Free breakfast everyday and a meal at night Monday thru Thursday.

Friendly staff, clean lobby and room. Bathroom was dated with loose floor tiles with no grout in between. Otherwise no issues.

Stayed at a lot of hotels in Laredo this is definitely one of the best ones. The price is a bit higher but you get what you pay for. This is my go to place to stay in.

EDIT: 3/9/2017 The manager made good on the hotel satisfaction promise, so I am glad to see that they honor their commitment to a satisfied stay. That being said, if they also commit to better cleanliness standards, I can see myself giving this hotel another try.

Stayed here on 2/20/17 and was checked into a room that had a dirty bedspread with numerous stains. When I pulled back the covers, found several long black hairs on the sheets. The TV and dresser were covered in dust. Worst of all there was a pile of men's dirty socks and underwear on the floor by the dresser.

I asked for another room. I was moved into a new room. Later when I wen to take a shower, the new room shower had a huge dirty stain in the middle. It was late and I decided not to change rooms, but to leave the hotel early the next day.

I filled out a survey for the hotel. I was never made aware of the hotel's guaranteed satisfaction at check-in but learned of it when I completed the survey. The hotel manager sent me an email stating that they will work on the issues and hope I will come back. No mention of the guarantee. I am a Hilton Diamond member on travel a lot on business. It's a shame that the hotel really doesn't care about their loyal customer's satisfaction and do not honor a guarantee they promote.

I won't be back to that hotel ever again.

The price is descent, the room is nice, and the staff is friendly. What else could you want?

Nothing too special. The run of the mill Homewood. Nice breakfast and dinner. Clean rooms.

Good services, very close to shopping mall, staff is friendly and facilities are well maintained. Just stayed one night but was a good one!

The hotel and service is very good. What I didn't like was the shower door opening backwards and the plumbing noises you could hear all night long when somebody flushed.

Good hotel for people passing by or for business trips, rooms are big and beds quite comfortable. Free wifi for guests and includes breakfasts.

Everything was great. Service was friendly when card stopped working to get in room. And dog friendly is always a plus.

This is one of the nicer places to stay when traveling to Laredo. Across from the mall and around most great resturant's in town.

The rooms are great and they get very cold but the hallways are hot and stinky. The service was great. The location is a little hard to get to.

The rooms themselves where clean and nicely kept. the only thing is that I couldn't lower the temperature below 65°. Also didn't felt like 65° it seem to be warmer in the room. Another thing is that in the morning the breakfasts was semi good and also not that much variety. For paying 156 a night ill give it 3 stars over all. Ps 5 stars for the people that work there were super nice

The Laredo Homewood has lousy TVs. The nearest dining option . . kind of a limited menu . . is the steak house and bar inside the equally well rated Embassy Suites next door. Otherwise, it's an on par Homewood.
