Room was larger than expected and everyone so friendly. Could walk across skyline to Regency for restaurants and pool easily. Food was really good in bar area here as well and very relaxed. Great trip and would definitely go back!

Our room was clean and spacious enough. Complimentary breakfast was good. The roof top pool is shared and connected to The Regency. Deduction of one star only because I prefer a hotel with personality, especially when visiting N.O., but that's just me.

Stayed at Hyatt House in Downtown New Orleans for 3 days and the experience was wonderful. The staff was warm always greeting with a smile no matter what time of day. The Complimentary breakfast is a plus to start your day off right. Rooms are clean and comfy. Great experience!

Clean rooms, excellent staff, great breakfast! Very hospitable! The valet was also awesome very great customer service I love the atmosphere and how nice the staff was and quick to get what you needed! Very accommodating especially with breakfast along with everything else!!

Great place for extended stays. Located in downtown New Orleans with riverside shops, restaurants or museums accessible by city transportation or within walking distance. Some rooms are designed with kitchenettes, a bedroom and livingrooms with extra bedding. The rooms have plenty of storage space, especially for larger families. A big plus was their buffet breakfasts that are included and have plenty of choices. And we loved the made- to-order omelets!

I booked this hotel through Hotwire as a place to stay during a work trip. Hotel was easy to access from the street, staff were friendly and helpful. The room I was given exceeded my expectations and all in all it was a wonderful place to stay. The only drawback is the elevator situation, which to say the least leaves you very confused on how exactly to reach ground level. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel.

The location downtown was spectacular. It was close enough to both the French quarter and the cruise port. The room itself featured a beautiful view over the city. Hyatt beds are always very comfortable and easily better than other hotels we stay at. The breakfast at this particular place was outstanding. Between the omelette station to the topping filled Belgian waffles, there isn't much more we could have wanted. We didn't get a chance to go swimming this time around, but the pool was also fabulous with luxurious tented sitting areas.

I want to say that this place is absolutely wonderful. We are from Arkansas and my mother had to travel to new Orleans for surgery to beat her breast cancer. Well when her and my dad got back to their room, the hotel had flowers a card and a get well balloon . That really raised my mothers spirits. They went above and beyond for the guest. This is absolutely amazing. Thank yall

Love this beautiful hotel. The room was nice and clean an my husband and I even received an upgrade for our anniversary. The check in staff was really nice. Oh and the breakfast was amazing! The pool has a bar and its a great getaway to clear your mind. The parking was a little pricey but that is expected in New Orleans I guess. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel!

This hotel to me is the best kept spot in the city. Awesome large, spacious rooms with great city views. Bar/breakfast area was large and also had a great view. Feels very cosmopolitan. It was a little distance to the French Quarter. But the streetcar was right there. We took it and enjoyed the NOLA experience! AND.. it is attached to Dave and Busters. The downside... MUST valet. But that's all the CBD/French Quarter hotels.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location for everything you want to do in New Orleans. Breakfast is fine but if you're in this city and you eat the free breakfast at the hotel, you are NOT doing this City right! The only problem in the valet and you must valet or party to come and go. They are slow. You can call thirty minutes ahead of time and they won't go get your car into you come down, even when they say they will. Other than that, this is the PERFECT place to stay for a trip to NOLA!

This is my "go to" place in New Orleans. One can expect the usual high standard of the Hyatt House brand, and enjoy room service and sharing the pool of the adjoining Hyatt Regency. The location is adequately served by several local bus route and the Loyola/Rampart streetcar, which means that the downtown activity of Canal Street is a mere 5 minute ride away

This place is awesome. Excellent pool. Real rockin’ Starbucks in the atrium (with a great mug selection.) Terrific location. Would be lucky to stay here again.

Had an opportunity to sample a few of the delicious dinner items you can order at the bar. The bar opens at 4pm daily. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Mediterranean Bowl is outstanding!

Everyone at the hotel was very kind amd extremely attentive. The rooms were clean and very cozy. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Attended a conference and this hotel was located about a mile walk from the convention center. The front desk was not on the ground floor you had to take the elevator up to the reception area. That became a wait since they only had one elevator, then add luggage. The staff was friendly. The hotel was very clean and had a modern feel. It was within walking distance to Bourbon street and the French Quarter. The room was nice and I had views of the city. They had a very nice breakfast buffet. You could order your eggs to order and they had other offerings available. There was an indoor walkway to a Starbucks located in the hotel next door. I gave it 4 stars because it was a little farther from the French Quarter and if you don't mind walking that's okay but after a day at the convention - walking around to get dinner began to wear on us. This hotel had a very limited dinner menu. Mainly snacks and a bar for drinks. Overall I would stay there again.

I really like this hotel. It has the feel of a newly renovated loft condo. It is very clean, practical and affordable. My room had a island counter with cushioned leather bar seats that are great for working and eating. It also had a super comfie section sofa with stylish and function pillows for reading and working. Sparkling new appliances, silver ware, dishes and pots and pan make this place feel like home. The location is good, and you can walk over to the Hyatt Regency for upscale dining. The bed has a pillow topper that is both soft and supportive. They will also deliver groceries for you. I will definitely make a habit of staying at the Hyatt House! Did I mentjon there are about a hundred working cable channels? Impressed.

Overall good, other than few cockroaches found in baths. Hallways some times smells weird. Pretty good breakfast. Had nice views from my room. The restaurant in hotel limited options; but affordable. Lobby for the hotel in 11th floor, which is bit different than most hotels.

Service and hospitality at is best. We came to attend a wedding and were pleasantly surprised by how fast everything was set up and ready to go.

The rooms are spacious and the amenities are awesome. It was sincerely great. The view from the 17th floor was beautiful.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, as was the omlette station. Everything was fresh. They have a waffle station as well. The coffee was on par, but nothing amazing as my wife and I are spoiled by our own coffee maker at home.

Checking out by the end of the stay was easy. Our flight back home was in the late afternoon, so the front desk was kind enough to hold our bags while we walked around NOLA.

Can't recommend the place enough. I'll definitely come back the next time we're in New Orleans.

Turned out to be an amazing weekend for my fiance & I. The room, hotel, service, & amenities ended up being far greater than I ever expected. Thanks to Priceline our room ended up costing $100 less than Days Inn a few blocks away! We can't wait to go back!

The hotel itself is nice, in a good location & very clean, which I appreciate. The free morning breakfast includes hot & cold items, waffles, and made to order omelets. This is very helpful & we saved a lot of money on breakfast during our 5 day vacation. What we did spend a lot of money is the parking. The parking garage is shared with other businesses and Dave & Busters. So even though were already paying for your hotel stay, you are required to pay a $25 nightly parking fee. Adds up real fast & then your car is kinda stuck at the hotel because if you leave, there are fees for that as well. They do offer valet but its $40 a night, the benefit is you can go in & out as you wish. Is that really a better deal? Id rather the hotel add in the parking fee to their nightly price. Over $100 in parking fees and I still was unable to drive in & out as desired.

Excellent room with view of bridge. Nice breakfast. Convenient location that's not very far to walk to warehouse or french quarter areas. Very close to the Hyatt Regency and shares amenities with it. Parking situation was confusing.

This hotel was great. Friendly helpful staff. The interior design was modern. Room furnished with 42" LG flat screen tv, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, king bed and a chaise lounge and 2 ottomans. Great location within walking distance of downtown New Orleans destinations. The rooms are nice, the restaurant/bar is good though the drinks are expectedly pricey. The laundry room is very nice with a couple of new washers and dryers. Parking is expensive, valet is by far the better value. I plan on staying here again the next time I'm in New Orleans.

Obviously the area gets congested during a home Saints game, so expect elevator delays, traffic, and noise, but it was nothing excessive. Free breakfast was convenient but not great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Taxes on the rooms are outrageous but what can you do. It's the area.

What a great place! The staff here were fantastic. The rooms are up to date. Modern. VERY Clean. Like renting a condo for the week. Little kitchen. Great views. Huge shower. Comfy beds. I didnt want to go home. Fantastic breakfasts. Great bar for a night cap before bed. Walking distance from the French Quarter and other sites. This will be the only place I stay when in New Orleans from now on...

Overall the hotel is nice. The room is very new and has a fully equipped kitchenette. For people who want to cook their own meals while traveling, this is the place to stay. The only problem I noticed is that the toilet wasn't properly cleaned, which is why I'm taking away one star.

Awesome hotel with good free breakfast. You can get omelettes or make your own waffles along with cereal choices, sausage/ bacon, scrambled eggs, fruits, yogurt and coffee,tea,juices. My only complaint is that housekeeping never seems to come during the day even with a sign on the door, only in the later afternoon when I get back to my room.

The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Superdome. Easy access to downtown and the French Quarter. The room was nice and clean.

I recently stayed here overnight after a cruise that left close by. The location is walking distance from the Super dome and most of the tourist areas of New Orleans. Otherwise a quick Lyft or Uber ride will get you where you need to be. The room was incredibly clean and spacious. All employees we encountered were very friendly as well.

I stayed at the Hyatt House as part of a work conference. The rooms were fairly nice but the service was what stood out. Our bathroom door was not closing properly and once we informed the reception it was fixed almost immediately. The front desk staff were always friendly and remembered us from the previous day.

First the bad: It's a little far. That's it! Even still we walked to Burbon St and the River area.

The good: The staff is great. Everyone from the dude at the front desk to the valet were genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel is new and really clean. They had comp. breakfast that was fantastic. They will loan you anything an umbrella, board games even a blender. Great views of the city and the Superdome as well.

Zandre an employee here has amazing customer service and problem solving abilities. She listens well, and try her best to meet the customers needs. She is an asset the Hyatt House and they looking for her to be a managerial position. She helped my busy schedule and stay hectic free when I was was able to get to the room. Thank you!

Excellent location. I stayed in a standard king room. The room was fairly nice. It was modern with high ceilings and great city views. The black out shades that Hyatt House uses are better than other hotels. The shower was a large walk-in tile shower with a full glass front. The bed was very comfortable. Cons: no fridge and no room lock box.

It's a good hotel. Neat and clean. The only thing I did not like was changing 2 elevators to get my room. But it's nothing that will stop me from staying there again.

Great place to stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast and the rooms were clean. They have a white noise machine that you can borrow, however, I did not get to try it out on this trip.

The Hyatt House hotel in New Orleans was nicely renovated and updated. Everything looked clean. However, when we arrived in our room, we immediately noticed the bed linens were soiled. Cupcake sprinkles and brown stains were all over the sheets and blankets. Thank goodness the front desk sent housekeeping to change the linens. I've never had this kind of experience at a hotel before. I'm just glad we noticed before my children went to bed.

Wish the pool was in the hotel. You have to go to the hotel next to it to use the pool. But still a very nice place. Easy to walk or take the trolley from here

Very clean, great hotel staff but kitchen staff were often rude. Even though, the hotel was beautiful, clean kept. The breakfast was truly hearty, amazing and lots of options. Highly recommended.

Location is a mile away from all central attractions by Canal Street. Customer Service is great, very friendly & helpful. Room is very clean & nice view from the 15th floor of the city. Breakfast omelette is freshly made to order. Overall I would stay there again.

Very nice, slighter cheaper to the (attached anyway) Hyatt Regency. Inside the rooms, can you tell the difference? Nice hotel, and one of the better buffet breakfasts of the Hyatt House line. If you'r up for a walk, pretty much everything in New Orleans of interest is within walkable distance. Too lazy to walk? Cable cars are inexpensive.

My room was very nice, clean, and smelled very neutral. The free breakfast was decent, along with the view. The staff was professional and restaurants in the building were awesome.

Highly recommend this hotel to visitors to New Orleans. 15 minute walk to French Quarters, excellent accomodations and staff. Nice to stay away from all the crazies, quick to get a taxi and easy to maneuver around the City.

Beautiful hotel a great location but the elevator performance is a bad mark. When it takes 20 minutes to get down from your room when one in four elevators works during two conventions and two college teams staying on property, big problem. And you can't use the stair because only lead to the outside, no way to get back in except the go all the way down. We absolutely love the room, amazing.

The hotel was beautiful but the valet was horrible . When we arrived the mirrors in room were not clean from last guest. The room was nice , spacious. The bathroom was nice and large. I just feel like they could have dust and cleaned more. The location was good, close to river walk . ( 15 min walk ) The valet was awful. We had to wait 15 mins several time because they had one person working valet . They tell you to call before coming down but, their phone was dead or no one answered. Also. They were not friendly . I'm surprised that such a nice hotel will have a horrible valet that will cost them customers . But , I can say upon checkout the management was very concerned about our valet experience . They were very prompt on making a wrong right and for that we appreciated them for.

Had a great time at the Hyatt and the location was great😍😍😍😍 I really like that you can walk everywhere. The breakfast was great they offer something for everyone. My room was amazing and the bed was soft.

This place is amazing! So close to everything you want to see in New Orleans (The SuperDome, Smoothie King Arena, French Quarter, CBD, great restaurants, bars, etc.) The staff were so accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone with business or pleasure in NOLA.

Staff was wonderful. Hotel was in a prefect location in New Orleans. Beds were not as comfortable as usual. Room was hot even with air condition on the lowest setting.

This is a great place to stay with a verity of room types. The staff is friendly, the drinks at the bar are good. It has a great view of the city and the Super Dome. It is within walking distance to the French Quarter and many tourist sites. The Hyatt House and Hyatt Regency are connected , making 7th easy to go back and forth .

Probably the best overall Hyatt House I’ve ever stayed at. Getting into the hotel is a bit strange (you see the late sign off Poydras, but then the hotel lobby is midway up an office/condo building). The rooms seem brand new and are well decorated. Try and get a studio suite if possible. The cooked-to-order breakfast they serve each morning is complimentary and pretty good for hotel fare. On the weekends and during big events the lines can get long, so try and go during off peak hours.

Man do I love this place!! There's an entire feel to this place that just touched me. It's less than a year old so everything is of course up to date.

The views of New Orleans are amazing. The Breakfast was one of the best complimentary breakfasts I've ever had. It is a little strange to take two elevators to get to your room.

The hotel is very nice. Our room was more beautiful than I thought it would be and the corner view is great. The hotel meeting rooms are very clean and well organized.

My family and I stayed in two separate rooms at the Hyatt House on July 29-31, 2016 and we had a great experience. The bell man, I forgot his name ( the office can look back and see the date and time) started things off by helping us with our baggage. After which, we met Nelly at the registration desk. She was awesome with assisting us in getting registered and accommodated from the time we arrived until we checked out. The rooms were nice and clean and so was the entire hotel. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. The omelette chef, I didn't get name, but she was Black, was extremely nice and accommodating, even when I asked for pepper and she gave me a mixture of pepper and salt and I was rather perturbed because I didn't want salt in it, she kindly gave me some pepper with a smile. I will definitely visit again...Thank you all for your kindness.

We have been extremely happy with our stay so far. Our room is very nice and clean with a view of the Superdome. Every staff member we have interacted with has been polite and professional. The location is great, and I would highly recommend this hotel!
