Very nice and clean hotel. Good location and far enough away from the interstate. Good breakfast included in the stay and a nicely setup room. The popcorn in the room was a tasty treat as well.

Nice hotel very close to road 65. The rooms are neat, clean and quite big. You have a big bad, full kitchen with big refrigerator and everything you need to make your own meals. A big desk to work with your laptop and a nice saloon to rest and watch TV. On the area around you can find selection of places to eat from restaurants to fast foods like Macdonalds and Wendy's. The hotel also offers nice basic breakfast and a Lobby with a big TV.

I visited friends staying at Staybridge Suites Merrillville but I did not stay there. I booked a hotel elsewhere because they were full. I spent most of my visit in the first floor common area which was nice and comfortable for a group gathering. The hotel allows dogs which our friends appreciated.

Part of the hotel that I seen was very nice. I would recommend it to anyone. It was very clean and the people that I thought with were very pleasant to deal with.

Was surprised at the size comfort and convenience of our room
Didn't expect to see a pull out bed in sofa in addition to a full size bed.
The room was also furnished with a desk large screen TV that carried direct TV cable .

The kitchen was well furnished with refrigerator stove microwave oven and dishwasher.

Room was very nice and clean. Was happy with the amenities. Breakfast consisted of a very large spread, which was a nice touch.

The hotel is new and the suite large and very well equipped. The breakfast was as expected, but not bad. The checkout at 11 vs the traditional noon. Only four stars because the hall outside our room and the entryway once inside smells of cigarette smoke, and it was quite pungent.

Excellent place. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. My parents came in to visit from out of town and they enjoyed their stay at the hotel.

This was just a place I stopped by at they treated us great helped us and was friendly as if I knew these people forever I say this I's a great nice giving place ,we need more in the state thank u too the lady at the front desk ur alufe savor

The room was bigger than most hotel rooms. It included separate living, kitchen, and bedroom areas. Big enough for a small family - two double beds and a pullout couch. It was clean, quiet, and pleasant. I'd stay here again.

This a a great hotel my granny is staying here her apartment was burnt-out in a fire. They have been good to her thus far.

Very nice hotel BUT i stayed there over night for my job. Woke up and blood spots in the bed and I had a few bite marks. found bed bug on my coat and Told manager and nothing was done and I was not compensated for my inconvenience

We had such a great experience. The hotel is kept up really nice and the staff were extremely friendly. Lots of amenities including indoor pool and spa, free laundry, free breakfast and social in the afternoon. Our room was very clean with full size fridge and freezer, 2 tv's, 2 beds and a pull out. We will definitely be looking for Staybridge from now on.

Extroadinarly friendly staff. Food a d two complementary alcoholic beverages are served in the evening. The rooms are updated and very clean. Workout room is decent sized. Pool and hot tub are decent. Best deal innhitleabive come across in a long time.

I've stayed here a few times now and I personally haven't had any problems like I'm seeing in some of the other reviews. They have a pool, free breakfast which you don't see alot in hotels with kitchenettes, a gym, a pantry, many places to eat and shop including the mall nearby, there's also a theater nearby. The staff are usually friendly and polite. The rooms are always clean when I come here. Over all happy with my stays.

Great hotel peroid. First the staff great. Key reader was not working and they brought me up into the room then came back later with keys that worked. Rooms were awesome. Full kitchen and spacious. Had happy hour which was 2 with pizza and beer. I will definitely be back here

Excellent room, I had a double queen bed suite, whose kitchen was almost like home. An honest breakfast and friendly accommodating staff. My family and I will stay here again.

The decor was nice and the room was set up for an extended stay. I didn't find the bed too comfortable, a bit too hard for me but my wife didn't complain. Breakfast was also nice, hot and attended by staff who restocked items as needed.

We stayed here for the first time and will never stay anywhere else when in Merrillville! There was not one single negative in our 6 night stay. Accommodations, personnel, and food were all top notch. We have stayed in many hotels in this area. Never again! We've found our home away from home.

Simply wonderful. After a long day of travel, this place is a fantastic place to rest. Free dinner and an alcoholic drink as well as free breakfast. Additionally they allow dogs that are actually dog size rather than only allowing ones that are less than 20 lbs.

Very modern and clean feel. I had some issues with my TV dimming but the staff helped me fix that quickly. Great value!

Staffs were kind. Especially the lady in the breakfast room worked hard and tried to help all customers.
I couldn't ask her name but want to appreciate her.
But I couldn't sleep well not because of hotel's problems but because of customers upstairs.
They walked and jumped whole night.
Hope hotel receptionist can recommend families who want to have a party stay on the first floor.
Except for that everything was good.

What else can I say other than PERFECT! You get every bang for your Buck at this lovely home away from home hotel. The staff was perfect. Room was perfect. Kitchen was perfect lbs I cooked my boyfriend a nice elegant meal in it. Hot tub & pool was perfect. Soft bed. Roomy room. 100% privacy!!!! We didn't make it to the free dinner, cocktail hour & breakfast but it smelled perfect! Just next time I'm going to ask for a room with a dining table because we only had a computer desk with a computer chair. Me and my boyfriend celebrated our one year anniversary & we forgot to tell the staff to see if the had any romantic packages to add to the room. None of our friends heard of this place so we are getting the word out. Hopefully we don't run into them lol but I really enjoyed my stay here and would be back!

This hotel is great! I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had a comfortable stay. Thus hotel does allow pets and I am highly allergic, but I have never had any issues with my allergies while staying here. That says a lot about the cleanliness of the hotel. Amit and Nina are very friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate you. Dennis and Sabrina work their tails off and never fail to meet your needs. Great hotel and staff!!

I've been doing work and training out of here. Been there so much the last 2 months, the staff has become friends. Very friendly, clean, always smiling, great customer service, good breakfast and dinner, also serve wine and beer. I haven't stayed in a room yet but I did get to see them and they're nice.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here on 1/17/17. The staff was amazing....and our suite was immaculate. It was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. We have zero complaints. We are very particular regarding hotels and I must say the Staybridge exceeded our expectations. Will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was very nice. TV offered much variety, however it lacked 2 channels (NBCSN and the local Comcast sports network). Wanted to watch playoff hockey, but game I wanted to watch was not able to be seen. Lots of friendly faces!

This hotel has been my home away from home for the past 10 months. I was greeted very friendly at the door and was given very good direction to my room.. Although the room was not as big as we thought it was very nice for me and my family. . The hotel was very clean and had free dinner and breakfast!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Arrived late for breakfast on Thanksgiving morning and the staff prepared something for our family anyway. Food was good, and hot everyday. We needed a place that would accommodate our big dog and this was the place, plenty of space to walk him and no problems. (I only wish everyone would clean up after their dogs like we do!)
Loved our stay and will definitely recommend to friends. We'll be back whenever we visit mom!

I have family in Merrillville so I am up here visiting regularly which requires me to stay in hotels in the area. I have stayed in almost every hotel (the good and very bad) that this town has to offer; this is by far the best value. It is clean, has an incredibly friendly staff, and a great breakfast! This will be the hotel I will be staying in from now on. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable!
