It's a 4 star with the service of a 5 star. Very, very nice. Food is good. Facilities are excellent. The only fault I could say is that the internet in my room was poor although in common areas it was fine .

Food, Rooms, Staff are all excellent. You can snorkel off the beach and see multiple varieties of fish and coral. Drinks and entertainment all top notch. Nice gym, nice spa, literally nothing to complain about so far.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Clean and modern finishes in the recently upgraded rooms and great facilities all round. And the burgers from the burger van are exceptional!

This is a truly beautiful resort and beach rooms are superb. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Booking through virgin we received some extra perks like a 6 course meal, cocktails at sunset and 15% off spa if fancied. Although families are welcome, there were not a lot of children making it a beautifully relaxing place for couples. We would recommend Tamassa and will look forward to booking again.

Hello! The hotel is amazing! The staff is super attentive, during lunch we have the great company of the singer and animator Jonathan. The hotel beach is beautiful and there are many activities. We loved our stay! We recommend!

This place is just amazing! People are so warm. Happy with what this place offers. Lot of facilities. Place for kids to play and there are baby sitters to take care of kids for few hours. Facilities to play few outdoor sports. Spa. Live band performance. Water sports facility and more.. Best place to escape from busy life schedules and relax forgetting the outside world. Just loved being here at Tamassa.

The sea also is notably safe for swimming.
The view of the sunset is fascinating.

Rooms enjoy all standard amenities.
Powerful Wi-Fi single is available throughout the facility.

A vast assortment of the menu is available for dining. However, vegetarians need to search through these lots of options.

Great service for my day trip. Kids loved the kids club. The spa is amazing and the staff are so lovely from the time you step in from the time you leave. We needed towels and they ran out but quickly sorted out some fresh ones for us. Service made my day. 4 stars only because the choice in the buffet was small but it was sufficient. Sometimes too much choice is not good.

An incredible place for a holiday. Our kids loved the pools, the kids club, the games room and the icecream and pancakes twice a day! Staff were alsoi excellent.

Great hotel. Charming and welcoming staff. Nice choice of food which taste delicious. Rooms are great and perfectly clean everyday. The best thing is how great the staff is and how they do everything to please you. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 to Sabrina and all the waiters and waitress at the B Bar and to the nice guy playing nice music everyday during lunch. My kids love the place so much that they wont go to any other hotel.😃

We stayed there for 6 nights. It was a wonderful experience. The place is very beautiful and well maintained. The staff is polite and helping. Food was delicious. We had a good range of options to suit our Indian taste. Some water activities are arranged by them. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Absolutely nice place. Only problem has been really hot plates at ala carte so not too much to worry about when u come here.

To the end of the holiday I must say that hotel has not tackled sunbed reservation issue. You see people waking up at 06 and bring in towels to sunbeds and sometimes not even showing up whole day. Most resorts are doing stuff to prevent this. There is quite a lot of sunbeds available so this is not major issue, rather ridiculous behavior from some of the guests.

Otherwise holiday has been nice and place is great.

Good food. Animation is there even if some animators need some more training. Staff very helpful. Recommended for those who like fun crowded and animated place.

Tamassa is a big hotel with several swimming pools, restaurants and a night club. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many activities and you will not get bored.

However, the food quality did not reflect what I expected from such a resort except for the burger van. You will still find the odd foreigners wandering around with a colonial attitude and looking at the locals in a condescending way

Tamassa hotel is a place for relaxation or pumped up activities such as para sailing, scuba diving, kayak, pedalo. It offers a spa including a hamam, a sauna bath and a jacuzzi. It holds various singing performances everynight with varying styles for examples western and mauritian sega.
The administration is friendly and caring. Do not hesitate to ask for help, they'll kindly accept to solve the problem.
The swimming pools are great and the water stays warm. But the depth may be not suitable for tall people as it is only 2000mm deep.

Although I have visited many five-star hotels in Mauritius, Tamassa remains the most beautiful and memorable one where I have ever spent my holidays!!!

This was a fantastic holiday. The food was great especially the burger van. The staff were brilliant and it was very relaxing. If you want to tour the island you can book a taxi for the whole day for about £50. A few
of places are well worth a visit. Casela Park, you can go for a walk with lions, swim with wild dolphins and the curious corner of caramel is great and full of optical illusions.

It' is so cool to stay there. I just went there the 18 December,that moment was really really cool, they had already put their Christmas decorations... The 18 December 2014 when me and my family went there, my cousins and I were super excited just because of the swimming pool. There were 3 swimming pool with 1 more I think in the spa where there is a jacuzzi and but no problem for the children. They have also a club for children under 12 years. I went there and took a look to the paper where there is the time for the activities like a time table. I like the cake boss-u have to decorate your own cake.
No worry for teens like me because there is a studio-17 for us where you can play tennis,badminton, UNO, dominos...etc
Food was really excellent and I really like the baked beans in the morning. Yummy yummy food to start a happy day!
What was sad in this story we were leaving because we stayed just for 3 days. So I said goodbye Tamassa and good morning to my house. I don't know what we are planning for the next holiday!!!
But I had a great time there with my family.. Really really really fun and entertaining...!!!

Spent 3 days there.. was very great and wonderful.. Great atmosphere and food.. have a very welcoming staff..

Just spent 10 days holiday there. Five of us had a wonderful time. By the way three of us are under 7. The hotel is perfect for young family like us. They have kids club from age 3. The staffs are so good with kids. They don't just do drawing all day. There are 7 days time table of different activities 6 times a day. So it keeps kids entertained. Food are excellent. Different themes 7 days a week. If you are not the most adventure person. The chef would happily cook something more traditional food for you. We went with the all inclusive package. So breakfast lunch tea and dinner. There are more than plenty option for both alcoholic
and non alcoholic. If cocktails are your cup of tea. Then plenty of Rum options. Mocktails are also available too. The mini bar in the room are also included. Our family room was big enough to accommodate 1 more child if necessary. There is a Queen size bed. One single fold up bed. Then a single bunk beds. 2 toilets. 1 corner bath. 1 walk in shower. Plenty of drawers and built in waldron. No need to bring your hair dryer and electronic insects repellent too.

Finally I would highly recommend to anyone who has a young family who would like to have fun with their children and then if u want to chillax for an hour then plenty of baby sitter available. We will definitely go back in the future.

Spent most amazing and exceptionally way too good 8 days and 7 nights with the love of my life...heavenly experience...ambience,restaurants and bars,sports room,swimming pools,awesome sunset view complimentary activities like glass bottom boat,kayaking bicycle rides etc and last but not the least always ready to help staff n extraordinary room service...unforgettable.....! Would definitely love to visit Mauritius again n spend time here in Tamassa only rather than opting for local tours :-)
