I used the digital key and checkin was a breeze. I went straight from the parking lot to the room. Very spacious suite with a full-sized refrigerator, sink, microwave and dishwasher. A huge plus for me was the ceiling fan. It is not visible from the road but Google maps gave great directions so that wasn't a problem. I would stay again if visiting Birmingham (especially since it is very reasonably priced).

My favorite hotel in the Birmingham area. Always courteous and professional, the staff sets the standard for service. Rooms and suites are generously sized and intelligently laid out. Beds are very comfortable. The appliances in some rooms are older but still in great working order. Conveniently located and close to pretty much anything you'd like to do.

I absolutely loved staying here! The suite was fully furnished, the employees were awesome, friendly and available! Breakfast was Wonderful! The room was great!

We were not there long, but the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was pretty good for continental, with lots of options. Only complaint was the bed--mattress sunk in the middle so that part was a little uncomfortable. But it's a hotel, not your own home so we didn't expect perfection.

Great hotel, we have stayed here many times since our daughter lives locally. Breakfast is usually okay, evening reception (Mon - Thurs) is an especially nice touch. Nice to have a full-sized refrigerator.
Being a tea drinker, it would be nice to have a breakfast tea available at breakfast time, but I have learned to bring my own tea.

I loved this location, very close to food and shopping without having a hectic atmosphere. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 night and were travelling with our pet (dog). Beautiful area surrounds the hotel to walk your puppy. The room was perfect (suite w/ bedroom) and the cleaning staff kept it very tidy. I enjoyed the "social-time" the hotel offers in the evening (free finger foods and beer/wine).

Everything was great! The receptionist greeted us pleasantly. Breakfast was fulfilling a variety of home cooked meals. Monday thru Thursday served dinner & grown up drinks!!! The rooms were clean & a full kitchen with cooking utensils. The access to the was refreshing. My 7 year old son had a blast at the pool. Oh, I REALLY enjoyed the fact the doors/rooms were sound proof. There is a door between the bedroom & the den area with a sofa bed. The kids were there & I had my room to my self!!!! I love it & I enjoyed my 3 day stay.

This place was quite amazing. I had to stay in Birmingham for 5 days while on a business trip and even though my homesickness couldn't be helped, the super-friendly staff and incredible amenities at this Homewood Suites really took the sting out of having to be away from home!! I will be choosing Homewood Suites for all my future lodging needs!

One of the better places to stay along the Hwy 280 corridor southeast of I-459. Great staff, well kept and clean rooms, very nice breakfast every morning. Evening 'snacks' and drinks Mon-Thurs. Far enough off 280 that there is no road noise. Excellent pool and ample parking. My only complaint? Taxes!! Holy cow; the City, County and State take a chunk from your wallet. Total tax at about 14% of the room rate. Ridiculous. New state motto: "Soak the out-of-towners!"

This is a nice location. It's clean and the staff is professional. You can't see it from the main Street so you'll need to follow a mapping app to get here. The rooms are spacious and in great shape, even on the first floor. It feels like a newer build. The dinner that's provided (Mon-Thurs) was good and includes free wine and beer. The staff watching the food area did a great job keeping the area tidy and fully stocked. You could tell they take pride in their work. They also have a business center with computers, a basic shop for convenience items and coffee in the lobby. Highly recommended. I plan to visit again.

We stayed in Homewood Suites for about 6 weeks following a house fire and they were just wonderful. All of the staff is so kind and pleasant; they were really friendly to us the entire time we were there. They worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We didn't have any issues with our room whatsoever; it was very comfortable and clean - the housekeeping staff was great. They have great amenities including a pool, computer/office/printer area, basketball court, and even a grill area. The breakfast was pretty standard for a complimentary breakfast set up: waffles, fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels, etc. They also do complimentary dinner/socials (with wine and beer!) Monday through Thursday, which was really helpful during our stay. At one point the hotel was booked to capacity during a Hurricane in Florida, and the staff did a special luncheon with hot dogs and various other dishes during a Saturday football game. Just another example of how they go above and beyond for their guests.

Got to love Homewood Suites! I've stayed with Homewood in many cities, many times over the last 20 years and they never disappoint. Our room was clean, roomy, and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The only downside was the breakfast. Though there was plenty to eat, and it was free (!), this particular Homewood had chosen premade omelets and gravy, which were not the best. I don't know if this is a trend with Homewood, but it was better when they had a cook preparing real food.

Quiet, nice location. King suites are somewhat compact, but are resourceful and gets the job done. Definitely will recommend to anyone. Ceiling fans in the king suites are a plus.

Clean. We didnt have much interaction with CS but in passing they were attentive and professional. Breakfast was Great!

Nice and convenient. Needs some improvements on the outside of the building like power washing. Cobbwebs outside of hotel room. We needed extra blankets had to go to the front desk to get it. But over all this hotel is not bad. Apartment like setting.

This was an impromptu stop for my family during an emergency. We were helped by a very professional desk clerk. We had a room that met all our needs. The room and amenities were great. I felt the price was also very reasonable. Thanks so much. Would highly recommend this facility.

Stayed during the great evacuation for Hurricane Irma. The staff was very accommodating and truly provided southern hospitality. The local businesses truly stepped up their game and opened their doors and hearts by providing discounts or even comping fees because they were aware that we hailing from Fl. While I was not happy with having to temporarily displace myself and family I can say if I ever have to do it again...I will not have a second thought or reservations to come back here! The community of Birmingham thank you for opening your hearts.

The staff here really will go above and beyond! They are attentive and will assist with what ever you may need. It was my 13 year old daughter's birthday and wet really wanted to do something special. the housekeeping was so accurate and attentive we were able to pull off something nice for her! thank you guys! We come back every 6 ish months!

I like the cleanliness of it. The decor is very appealing to the eyes. It has a swimming pool outdoor and a basketball court also two grills in their sport area. The suites are spacious. Yes Homewood Suites has bag storage.

I stayed in the king suite. Rooms are large, modern, and clean. Despite an initial mixup, the hotel worked hard and fixed the issue. I would highly recommend. The free breakfast and light dinner are great.

Beautiful, clean, cordial staff. Enjoyed breakfast Monday morning as well. Only 2 concerns we had were the water temperature fluctuated during showers (without flushing) and we were notified upon arrival that we may have our carpets cleaned during our stay. I actually called 2 times in preparation for this 2 days of rest there and no one mentioned it even as early as 3 hours before when speaking to the front desk. Thankfully ours had already been done and we're just a little damp, but I could deal with that. Very nice and will stay there again when returning to the area.

Nice location, clean, quite, good housekeeping, adequate breakfast. No noise from the elevators in the rooms. Full sized fridge and stove in the one bedrooms. Rooms have plenty of space. The property is secluded in a wooded area.

Room was clean and spacious. The kitchen with a full refrigerator was a nice surprise. Had a little trouble connecting to the hhonors wifi though.

Check in was smooth and easy. The room was clean, spacious and comfy. They allow pets, and our German Shepherd dog did not complain. Very nice people working at this location!

Stayed here on our way to the beach. The lay out works well for our family with a living room area flanked on either side with bed rooms. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is typical of what you would find in other Hilton properties ie hampton inn.

The stay was great and so was the breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. We didn't have a pillow for the bed but it arrived shortly after asking. I will stay there again.

The hotel is located in Inverness which is a really nice area of Birmingham. Hotel staff is more than eager to go out of their way to help you with anything that you might need. The breakfast and diners are really nice serving a wide variety of food items and the rooms are very well maintained and clean. Also rooms also have a small kitchen which is nice if you like to cook for your self.

My husband and I love Homewood Suites for travel purposes. This location has a wonderful outdoor area with a pool open from 6am-10pm, plus a basketball court (1 goal only). The staff are all fantastic and the rooms are very clean :)

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, even with them allowing pets the whole hotel smelled and looked very clean. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast area was set up very well with lots of seats. The pool and basketball area were nice and even have 2 grills also. Whenever we got to our room my dad checked the beds for bedbugs with a light and hair dryer and he didn't even see a speck of dirt! Over all we loved this hotel and definitely would recommend it!

I've stayed at this location for 19 of the past 24 weeks. People/staff are GREAT - I have always had a pleasant smile from the staff & they are accomodating to anything that needs to be changed/fixed/gotten for me. Morning breakfast isn't the "four seasons," but it's always good food & they stay on top of the buffet. My dishes are always clean & my room is always ready. It's clean & wi-fi reception has always worked. When my family visited, they treated them the same as me. Couldn't say more good things about this reasonably priced, high VALUE team of people/hotel.

The people who work at this hotel truly know the meaning of the word hospitality, Due to a winter storm here in Birmingham, 3 coworkers and I stayed at this property. Not only were the people there courteous and professional, they were kind and caring to each road weary traveler that called or came in the hotel. The front desk person, Karen is a treasure. Even being stuck at the hotel and unable to get home to her family, she took the time to make people feel welcome. The rest of the staff were upbeat, kind and very efficient. The manager David, even though very busy was again, kind and positive. He worked very hard to help as many as possible. This is a wonderful group of people, which makes a wonderful place to stay!!! Thank you all for everything!
