Great stop on my way home. Would stay here next time I'm in Charlotte. Room was large, comfortable and kitchenette would be useful on a longer stay. Plenty of great nearby restaurants.

Upon my arrival I waited about 5 minutes for a front desk rep to show up. One of the other workers showed concern and got someone to help me. They were friendly and offered me two bottles of water for being an Honors member. The layout was confusing having to go into this maze to find the elevator and again the room. Once in the room the layout was sufficient for my needs, but could have been better. Breakfast was lackluster but better than Bengals and English muffins. The most important part "the bed" was 5 stars. I slept like a rock with the overhead fan. Great idea for making that installation choice. Overall I would come back but there are other options that may be a bit more updated and better designed.

Very nice... Comfy!! Only thing keeping from 5 stars is the shower head... But all hotels have that issue.... Except for the Sea Bay in Ocean City, MD. The best shower you'll ever take and the heads are only $3 a piece. Live, Learn.....

Quick overnight stay. Hotel was really clean. Used the Hilton App - Digital Key which was awesome. Breakfast was very good. Only complaints were that we could hear our neighbor showering and the room darkening curtains did let in some light which is different than most other Hilton hotels we stay in. Still, we would definitely stay here again if we ever head that way again.

Location is great for a trip to Carowinds. It's in an area with a movie theater and little shops. It looks like there is a lot more being built there. The rooms are modern and quiet. Pool area looked nice but I didn't use it. The morning breakfast was nice and lasts until 10:30. Would stay here again.

Excellent service at the front desk. Most comfortable beds we've slept in on our trip. Perfect for our family of five. Will be choosing another Homewood on the way back.

Stayed here again, as we had a pleasant stay in February. This stay was not as pleasant, but still overall satisfactory.

The Cons:

There was no ventalation in the hallways, so they were hot and muggy.

Whether a result of the aforementioned ventalation or another issue, there were weird smells everywhere from the lobby to the hallways.

The pillows and linens could be replaced, as well as the TVs and the furniture.

The Pros:

The rooms were cleaned well. The carpets were in good shape, all appliances and outlets worked correctly.

Very courteous staff.

Great breakfast and evening social. Very nice staff. Rooms were clean, but in slight need of an update (32 inch TV seems small nowadays).

Another great time. Will definitely have our function return next year. Ashley, ( front office sup) Miriam & Ryan, are top notch as guest svc agents. Led by Front Office Mgr. Chris Gardner, non better. Food svc sup. Ryan one of the best. For me, not being a fan of omelettes breakfast Sat & Sun morning was a little disappointing. However, there was waffles & pastries. So it's just me. Rooms are very comfortable & the staff is very friendly.

Nice staff, clean rooms. Only issue was the parking is terrible! Had to walk a good ways after squeezing into a tiny compact space. However, when we visit Charlotte again, we'd definitely book a room again!

Nice place to stay. They have a dinner social from 5-7pm they call it "small plate service". Fatima tears it up, small is not in her vocabulary... Everything she made was gold and the cookies were out if this world. I would surely come back just for her services. Outstanding cook with a great personality!

We stayed here for a wedding. It was nice that they let us stay out at the pool in the evening after the pool closed. We were able to chat and have conversation and not bother the other guests in rooms. It was a comfortable stay. Rooms were clean.

I truly enjoyed staying at this location. The hotel was in a very nice area & the staff was very helpful. The suit I stayed in with my guest was very spacious and very clean. I recommend this hotel & give it 5 stars!

My room was great and the hotel was well kept. They should work on improving the breakfast selection. Everything else including the staff was great!

Cool location, nice room and amenities. The kitchen was a wonderful and helpful addition, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom area was spacious and well laid out! Only issue is we couldn’t pull the black out curtains, which somewhat took away from our privacy and ability to sleep well (other buildings and street lights outside the window). Not many breakfast options, but coffee was decent. Customer service was fantastic! Robin texted ahead of time to check in on our scheduled arrival and helped me set up a surprise for my husband. She made up a sign and gave us some free treats (cookies) for his birthday.

The room is quite nice indeed. Couch and bed and fridge and microwave, some real utensils and cookware. The location is fair enough. There's some walking distance places (bars, restaurants, a theater). Good breakfast. Lost a point for the coffee cups not being big enough for the coffee (maybe nit-picky but I can't be the first person to have to clean up the mess it created) and because the large thick curtains can't be drawn, so I couldn't get my dracula-darkness sleep. Pretty nice place though, overall.

Very comfortable room, nice size, great breakfast, and the evening socials are a nice touch. The area around the hotel is really nice with lots of restaurants and shopping. Also easy access to I-85.

Great front desk staff, very accommodating. Room was excellent, spacious and clean. Great location for restaurants/bars, could walk to everything. Lots of little touches that truly gave it that special touch (Oreos and water for being a free rewards member!). Simple breakfast that was great and to the point.

The staff was very polite and professional. Everything is neat and clean and organized.

Clean well kept. Decent food. Nice big suites

The suite has fully equipped kitchen and feels very comfortable. I love having a door that closes between the bedroom and living area. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, very delicious! I gave 4 stars only because we had to have the tub cleaned after noticing soap scum. Otherwise the room was clean. They were very quick to clean the tub for us. We had problem with some very noisy upstairs kids stomping all night but they were very accommodating offering to change our room but let us know they'd be checking out the next morning. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in town. I highly recommend this hotel!

Was a very nice hotel, only 2 things that we were not happy about, the elevator was broke and we had to take the stairs with small children each time we xame and went and the parking was not good. To far to walk from the lobby. Breakfast was great!

Nice location, a bunch of shops in walking distance. Great breakfast in the morning, beds are on the small size (ex. Smallest queen size I've seen.) They have room service when your out unless you have the shhh sign up.

The rooms and nice and spacious. There are decent breakfast and evening events but parking is more limited than I expected and some rooms are relatively far from the lobby area which is mildly unpleasant when you are sleepy and wanted to get breakfast

The room was nice the staff was exceptionally courteous. The free breakfast had nice offerings. I stayed 3 nights and each morning had different breakfast items along with the staples: omelette, hash, sausages (patties, links, smoked), breakfast burrito supplies, oatmeal with toppings, seriously too many items to name. Dinner bites Mon-Thu is pretty cool as well. Awesome location near Carowinds and not far from anywhere else you'd want to go.

The only reason I can't give it a 5 star is because the fold out couch wasn't very comfortable. The fold out couch at the Homewood Suites on Tyvola Rd was better. It was less than 10 minutes from Carowinds and it was clean and contemporary. Great restaurants in walking distance!

Friendly, courteous, helpful staff made me feel so much at home. The food was delicious and the place neatly kept. I will surely stay here again and again anytime I am in town.

We stayed here in June 2012 celebrating our son's 5th birthday and going to Carowinds and our stay was awesome!! We are here again on June 2017 celebrating our son's 10th birthday and going to Carowinds and we got the same room again!! The staff was wonderful. Our room was available because we arrived early but they offered to text me and my husband when it was ready and they did. They kept in touch with us everyday wanything to know how was our stay and the staff made us feel like we were at home. I highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel 👍👍😀

My overall stay was good only because my room was nice. Breakfast was good. The front desk staff was extremely rude. They were constantly taking personal phone calls. Check in with Kenya was okay. However, I could hear her personal phone call on her CELL PHONE down the hall! Check out with "Shanae" was terrible. She asked me how my stay could've been better and when I told her she just looked at me like I was speaking another language then proceeded to call me baby, sweetie and hun as I was leaving. Don't appreciate the sarcasm. I'll be sure to NOT stay here again. Management needs to hire better staff that best respresents the Hilton brand because that was not it!

Great location, walking distance to gas station, food and bars. 10 minute drive to Carowinds. Great value for point redemption. Very friendly staff. I did have issues with the Wi-Fi and trying to extend a night using points or I would've rated it 5 stars.

Hotel is in a good location, with lots of nearby shopping. There is some very nearby construction, however, during the times we were in the room we were not disturbed. Breakfast and dinners were nothing special but as expected and the staff was friendly and polite. The rooms were clean and as described on the website.

Prettiest Hampton Inn ever seen. Great location, clean, comfortable bed. Gentleman breakfast host went out of his way to ensure everything was tasty and well stocked. Staff very accommodating. Will stay there again when in Charlotte.

The hotel lobby was great, breakfast was included and was hot and fresh, the rooms were huge more than enough room. Staff was extremely friendly!

After a 13 hour car trip, our kids were thrilled to have such a nice room to spread out in. Beds were very comfortable, the coffee "bar" has great options of tea and coffee at any hour. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of choices. Will defiantly be staying with homewood suites again.

I was able to check in early which was really appreciated! Robin at check in was helpful. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. I loved my suite! Thanks so much for an amazing stay! I'll be back to this Homewood!

This is a great location with many walkable distance restaurants. The rooms are spacious and nice and the staff is gracious.

We were so impressed with this hotel! We've stayed in a lot of hotels in the last couple of years and this one was by far the most exceptional. The hotel was very clean and homey feeling, but the thing that stood out the most was how proactive the staff was to help us in any way they could. They were looking for ways to help and jumped in before we could ask. Just one example: on the morning we checked out, we asked for to go boxes for our breakfast so we could get on the road and they quickly accommodated. As I was filling up the boxes, the gentleman working the kitchen noticed I had my hands full and offered a bag for me to put the boxes in. Not only did he bring the bag, but he happily offered to bag it all up for me. A small gesture, but very helpful! There were many of those throughout our 3 day stay that left us very impressed!

The room was nice and clean. I had one complaint about the room it smelled like a dog. I think someone from the night before brought in their dog. I called the manger he came up to the room. The hotel was full so we could not switch rooms. He told me he would fix this on my bill. I love Hilton Hotels and this is the only complaint from these hotels that I have.

Great value and location, wonderful rooms and amenities

A very nice hotel.

Pros:
The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The larger suite has two ac units which is a huge plus on a hot day. The full kitchen is nice to have. Free daily happy hour.

Cons:
The rooms are poorly sound insulated. Its a good thing they sell earplugs at the front desk as you will most likely need them. The couch is not very comfortable.

Other notes:
I enjoy the free breakfast offering bit food was mediocre.

Stay here frequently and always receive great service, and very clean room. Will continue to come back. Great location within walking distance of good food.

Pros- Rooms are great and spacious with plenty of amenities. Staff is nice, pools great.

Cons- Continental breakfast is pretty horrible. The hash rounds were stale and chewy. The potatoes the next day were stale and chewey. Also, the French toast.
Another weird thing is that oaks of the doors are extremely heavy, like to the laundry room or stairwells (you know the ones you may need to go through if there is a fire.)

You literally have to be a strong man to hold them and to be honest one almost knocked me down on my way through it. I've seen quite a few elderly women struggling hard with them that I've had to consistently help throughout my stay.

The Staff was very friendly & the room was big and spacious. Only hotel I've ever stayed in where they serve breakfast & dinner. Wonderful experience. Only downside is you hear airplanes fly over all day which doesn't bother me too much & the people above us was loud. But that's not the hotels fought

Booked online with Hilton Honors point for a one night stay en route to a family vacation. The day of arrival we recieved a text from a manager informin us we could call or text directly with any issues or items we may need. We observed another family utilize this and were impressed by the speed and attitude of the employee. Plan on many more visits here.

Late night, after cancelled US Airways flight, Tony was awesome in taking care of my wife. She was tired and frustrated and he was very professional and courteous. He provided her with free bottles of water and snack, and gave her late check out at no cost to allow her to get more sleep as her next flight was late in the evening. Great experience to end a day of not so great airline experiences.

Fabulous the staff was great. Our accommodations were very spacious and functional. I'll be back in the near future for another stay.
