Awesome suite but the heat never worked even after someone came to fix it.... We let front desk know and still nothing..... For the money, do better. Don't wait until guests tell you to fix a problem the staff (housekeeping/engineering/supervisors/managers), should be proactive not reactive..... We pay to have that stuff fixed before hand not during and or after our stay.

Older, but very nice hotel. Lots of room in our suite. Great staff. Close to shopping and other amenities, with a good selection of nearby restaurants. Free made-to-order breakfast with many other buffet-style options.

Our room faced East and we just happened to be able to see a launch from Cape Canaveral during our stay.

My two babies the night before at the wonderful Embassy Suites. What wonderful people and accommodations they have for these young men who put their lives on the line for us to live the way we live. Location is great - right by the International Mall and Westshore Mall. Westshore Mall is worse in every way than International except for the fact that it has a movie theater. The room was huge - way bigger than a typical hotel room and pretty modern room. The dinner and lounge area wasn't the greatest experience - but the workout center and pool were pretty nice. The service is great too - very kind staff. All around a nice hotel in a nicer part of Tampa.

Great room size, good location. Great front desk staff, comfortable bed, relatively quiet away from elevators. Shuttle drivers are sometimes unsafe. Elevators very very very slow at peak times. Cleanliness leaves lots to be desired - I had hairs in the tub that weren't mine when I first used the room. Door sill between sleep area and bathroom too elevated, very easy to stub toes.

Edit: it has been over two weeks of me trying to contact the hotel about an important item I left behind, and no one has gotten back to me, just promises to talk to the head housekeeper. I've exhausted every phone call, online message, email, etc. This feels like exceedingly poor customer service. I've downgraded my review from 3 to 2 stars.

Nice hotel walking distance From the Westshore Mall. When I checked and early the lady at the front desk it was very nice and accommodating and found me a room. I really love the fact that they have a reception from 530 till 730 each night that provides cocktails and snacks. They also have free made to order breakfast. At breakfast they also offer other things such as bacon, eggs, grits, pancakes, fruit and more. I was the morning please with the service at the breakfast. The lady that was cooking the omelettes as well as the black lady that was helping to keep the area clean were so happy and friendly and I’ve never seen hotel employees so happy to be at work. The reason they are getting a four instead of a five is that my room was not clean. They did apologize and brought me up immediately the things I need it as well is it to me. Also although the lobby is spectacular, they need to update a few of the features in the room because there was a rust in my bathroom. I love the very large size of the suite and I have a separate kitchen. I will definitely stay here again. Oh and parking is $11 per day for you can valet park.

Great customer service but rooms and building lack in cleanliness and sanitation, broken tile in bathroom, odor in lobby and hallways + elevator would not work so management told us to take the stairs. On the bright side I would like to give a special thanks to Jinnita the omelette chef for her wonderful attitude and great skills on the flat top and another thanks to Robert from the front desk! He made sure we were satisfied and let all of our needs room wise. Not the best hotel to stay at but great people working here!

Problem began with in-person check-in. When I arrived at 4:30, lobby was a madhouse. Apparently a group checked out late and housekeeping wasn't able to turn the rooms quickly enough, resulting in long delays in getting rooms ready. Even though I chose my room and checked in online, I was given a much smaller room. The associate said he would comp my parking, but of course it showed up on my bill. Not only was my room small, but the furniture was cheap. One night the air went out and by morning it was hotter than it was at bedtime. The last morning only one elevator was working, so getting down from the 10th floor took 10 minutes from the time I pressed the down button. Food was OK and reception was OK. Overall a terrible example of an otherwise good brand. Would not consider staying here again and would dissuade others as well. Too many other better options in the area.

Great customer service! Clean rooms, friendly staff. Nice FREE breakfast choices, & evening snacks. The kids would have stayed @ the pool our whole trip if we would have let them. Very accommodating staff anything you need they're right on top of it! Bartenders are also fun & friendly! Location is awesome, right in the middle of any/every destination.

Very nice hotel. It's clear that its an older property but they have done well updating it. Very well laid out and everything is convenient. Hotel restaurant and lounge is nice and great selection and service.

Checked in very late with no issues though it was difficult finding a parking space in the garage. Room was very spacious and clean, though the main area had a bit of a must odor (bedroom smelled ok). Breakfast was excellent! They offer omlettes made to order. Best part is that they serve Starbucks coffee!!!

Clean and comfortable and very spacious rooms. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection of items and included an omelette station. The service was also very good!

This particular Embassy Sure was very aesthetically pleasing. The lobby was probably top 2 nicest looking Embassy lobbies I've seen. The bartenders in the restaurant bar were friendly and helpful when we got a drink one night and needed to borrow their wine opener the next night.

A standard three star Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel. Perks are the bigger rooms you get, decent hot breakfast in the mornings and proximity to the Westshore mall and most importantly it's barely a 5 minute drive to Tampa Airport. They do have semi decent meeting and conference rooms. Makes it a convenient location if you want to host something in the Tampa Bay area. There is plenty of self parking options available and valet parking at around 7 bucks if you so choose. Check out the attached picture.

Not your typical Embassy Suites, there is no atrium. Normal preference is across from the elevators since I travel for work alone, big mistake at this hotel. My room and bed was directly behind the elevators and the three elevators never stopped. Made for a bad night. They moved me to another room which was so tiny the door hit the table walking in and the bathroom door couldn't open all the way because it hit the toilet. My thrid room's air would not turn off even though I turned it off, it just blew all night. I was truly sad because I love love love Embassy's. Also when I pulled in I got the self parking ticket and I was told I had to park and lug my suitcase, bag, work rollie and purse down the parking garage through the breezeway then into the hotel. Did I already say I was by myself. There were four other issues that I just let go, needless to say I won't stay at this Embassy again. They guy with the beard at the front desk needs some customer service lessons/training.

Super clean rooms and friendly staff. Located across from the mall with eating options. Pool is nice and relaxing. Garage parking. Lobby was soothing with a wall waterfall and a swing.

Rooms were nice and clean. Pool was a hit with the kids. The particular front desk agent we dealt with could use a refresher in customer service but the manager of the breakfast restraunt was terrific. Someone needs to come and steal this gentleman for their staff. It's nice to find this level of customer service is still out there, just seems a waste in a hotel breakfast.

The rooms are spacious. They have a separate room for the refrigerator and sink. The bedroom is isolated nicely from the living areas. The free breakfast and happy hour drinks (5pm to 7pm) are awesome. Right across the street from and indoor mall. The TVs are huge. Pay to park is not so nice, but other than that I recommend.

Gorgeous place in a nice part of town. Unfortunately if you want to make your TV work properly you have to go out and buy a remote! I was shocked to call the front desk and they recommended me to buy my own remote if I wanted to change the channel. That kind of ruined the experience for me.

Location: Top notch, close to everything needed. Room: Spacious, enough outlets for all devices Service: its okay View: if you like the highway that's cool. Overall pretty good.

Overall, I liked the wide space that the hotel rooms provided, and the breakfast line was convenient to access before heading over to the convention center. Even the area of the hotel itself was easy to access the convention center for our workshops on time. The only thing that concerned me was the relative difficulty in accessing the parking area.

Clean and neat. No complaints. Very large televisions in living room and bedroom. Bed was comfortable and it had a fairly large kitchen.

My wife and I stayed here 7 nights while Christmas holidays. The staff were exceptional, the hotel was very clean and the perfect location for entertaining and shopping. Employees were extremely helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. Highly recommend! We will be back soon!

Beautiful place. Neat and very clean. Parking was the real issue-need to rent a compact car, mid-sized vehicle is too large.

Older building but newly renovated. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Perfectly located to top activities and shopping.

Overall great hotel and location. Staff at the front desk wasn't very attentive when I stood at the desk and asked for there attention during check out. There was also a long line during check in.

Wonderful hotel, rooms are on point. Very comfortable beds. The receptionist was amazing. The location is great. Breakfast was awesome. I will stay here again. 💙

Very good location for business travelers. About 1/4 mile from the airport, and right across the road from the mall. Lots of good dining options around. Breakfast was awesome. Manager's reception was nice, but consisted of chips, veggies, and possibly a drink. The room was very comfortable, even for a small suite room. The staff was extremely welcoming, I felt very good about the choice of this Embassy Suites.

Great manager's reception. Excellent breakfast. Spacious rooms. Nice warm pool and hot tub. Perfect location. This is one of my favorite places to stay in Tampa and will keep coming back.

This has been a superior experience! We left another local hotel to come here, and the difference is absolutely amazing. The customer service experience is hands down the best.

The hotel is perfectly adequate. Staff is kind and helpful although not always timely. Depending on the rate I would stay here again but I also wouldn't actively seek it out. Free breakfast and complimentary happy hour was nice though.

This hotel is very nice! With the exception of the elevator furthest from the desk, which smells like feet and old cheese, everything else was perfect. They serve complimentary breakfast in the morning and there is complimentary happy hour from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Great place to stay!

Staff was friendly and location is good. Room sizes are awesome, especially for the price. Unfortunately the carpets are disgusting. They look rougher than a Motel 8. I would recommend new flooring. $4.25 for cheap bottle in room is a little ridiculous also

Pleasantly surprised at happy hour, breakfast was great, staff was outstanding, from the desk clerks to the servers. Location to beaches, malls and local entertainment was outstanding. I will visit again and will refer others.

Not the cleanest hotel. Suites are really spacious. Called for clean towels because housekeeping didn't leave any after the minimized cleaning and was asked by the front desk if I could come get the towels myself. Shuttle service to and from airport is not dependable. I had to wait over an hour to be picked up from the airport. Made to order breakfast is the best feature. Highly doubtful that I'll ever stay here again.

Everything about our stay at this hotel was perfect, from location the the restaurant we had reservations at to the arena were we went to a concert. The room was big and clean, and room service was excellent. Overall, it was a really good experience and we would recommend it.

Hotel is being renovated. Checked in the hotel, ironing board was missing. It took one day to get an ironing​ board. Called front desk for towels, was questioned how many was in my room? Managers reception had animal crackers and vegetables. What a pair? Pool has mold showing on water fall. I am a Hilton honors. However, they are not holding up to the honors.

Friendly staff. Great location. Close to the stadium, SoHo and not to far from downtown. Stayed during SMF and had a great time!

The service was great. The front desk staff was very accommodating as well as helpful and made sure all our needs were met, from a demagnetized key to extra towels and shampoo.

We had a nice stay, only stayed one night. Rooms were a good size and pretty clean. The parking lot was a little difficult to get into ( only one entrance/exit and since high walls can be easily missed). Breakfast was very good. Wifi was a little difficult to figure out. Gave us a password but no network name. Other than that nice stay.

This place is amazing ! I've stayed there twice when we had our company district meetings and it is the absolute best hotel that I've ever stayed at. The breakfast was always amazing . I love this place and I highly recommend it .

For well over 200a night out was ok.not as clean as I would like. The TV remote was oily and the numbers were worn off.the TV channels hadn't been updated on the book. During breakfast I sat down to eat in the alcove with the tvs. There was a distinct cigarette smell wafting through. Really gross.

Attended a professional event in a conference room here. Staff were polite and informative regarding parking and not needing a pass if only staying for a few hours. Conference room was clean, tidy, and there were no issues related to the venue.

The staff is very friendly and checking in was a very slow process love the room it has a really great View. The hotel provides really good food and I'm very satisfied with the service overall

Great central location for travel between Tampa and Clearwater. Staff was very accommodating and the managers social every evening is great! Breakfast bar is one of the best ive ever had, its worth it just for this alone. Only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the beds were a little on the bumpy/firm side. Could use some updating in the lobby to get the weird smell out, but dont worry because it stays in the lobby! Recommended

This was such a great stay, the rooms are more than spacious me and my boyfriend planned a last minute Christmas get away and the view from the 16th floor was gorgeous especially considering it wasn't an ocean front hotel the staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was delish!! And did i mention the mall across the street! I would say definitely give them a try if in the Tampa area.

My room was very good. Embassy suites is a very clean nd organize hotel. Embassy suites is very close by restaurants and have a mall across the street. The Internet connection is very good. The room smells great and there food here is VERY GOOOODDD. They serve free breakfast and have great customer service. Hope you enjoyed 😊

I went on vacation and stayed 4 days longer than planned. They have a super friendly staff. The rooms are spacious with decent views. Pool area was clean and properly kept. If you stay here you have to eat their breakfast which is exceptional. We will be staying again.

This was my first stay at this Embassy Suites. It is very close to the airport, had a complimentary shuttle, free breakfast and free wifi (not sure if all guests qualify for these benefits). It was also convenient to downtown and other parts of Tampa. I was only in Tampa for one night, but I enjoyed my stay. Everyone was very friendly and ready to assist with any issues that may arise. The room was quite nice as well. I would recommend this hotel.

Didn't stay over night only had room with others to prepare for wedding. Restaurant had awesome service and great food! Wet missed happy hour due to wedding but I hear there's free drinks at 5pm!

Rooms were huge and very comfortable. Pool was great. Really solid breakfast options. Convenient location near the airport and close to dining options. Only real drawbacks were an "unusual" smell in the lobby area and that I wasn't able to take full advantage of the amenities during my conference.

Feom start to finish my experience was excellent. Don't be deceived by the older style look of the hotel, once you walk inside it looks like a 5-star facility. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I requested an early checkin at around 11:30 am in which they obliged me. 2 hour free happy hour every evening and cook to order breakfast was excellent. Eating breakfast and having a drink on the open deck or inside was very nice. I also requested a late checkout in which they granted, I seriously did not want to leave. I will definitely be back!

The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minutes from the TPA airport. The staff was very nice to work with. I ordered the grouper sandwich for lunch which was very delicious! The happy hour provided by the hotel was pleasant and the bartender was awesome.

With that said, the hotel could definitely use some updating. When I got there the room key creator was down so maintenance had to let me into the room. The hotel room was a bit musty too and the balcony door was permanently locked (looked a bit ghetto).

I would probably stay there again since I know they are currently doing renovations.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend and they were amazing even sent me a bottle of champagne on the house. Very friendly staff plus nice and clean. Great location right off 275 and litirally a 5 min walk across the street from the mall. I would recommend forsure.

The location, customer service, and overall amenities were great. However, I believe housekeeping staff should do a better job on cleaning the rooms. I saw some mold around the bath tub an tiles. dirt ring in the toilet bowl, and stains on the carpet and wall. Cleanliness is a major factor for me, so I consider the standards of this hotel way below what I have seen in other Embassy Suites and other Hilton brands.

I stayed here for almost 5 months and never had a problem with anyone. The staff is the very friendly all over from the valet to the housekeepers. Every time we had a problem with the room, maintenance took care of it right away. The food is good and the bar is well stocked. The gym is good for its size and is cleaned all the time (I witnessed it myself from going every day while I stayed there). I definitely recommend this hotel; i'll be staying here any time I visit Tampa.
