Great hotel for the family. Plenty of space for everyone. Enjoyed the evening reception and breakfast.

I like this hotel. It is pet friendly, has great parking and is close (not walking) to downtown Durango. The rooms are fantastic. A small kitchen, separate bedroom, fridge, stove (electric, induction), some pots/pans/dishes. A dishwasher. Recommended.

Every time I've stayed here, I've been well-taken cared for. From the time I call and make a reservation to when I check out, the staff was gracious and helpful. The food, beer, and wine at the evening reception often exceeded my expectations. The rooms are kept immaculate, which reflects the upkeep of the whole hotel. It's become an upgrade to my home away from home when I'm on business.

I only ask for 3 things in hotel (clean, friendly staff and a good bed). Over all this place rocked.... It's very clean and the staff (front desk, food prep, cleaning and others) all did a awesome job and were very friendly. This would have been a 5 start but I had 1 issue and that was with the bed I didn't get a good night sleep and had major back ache every morning. I've been in other Hilton's and have had nice pillow top's and comfort select beds which were all very good to sleep on. I do realize that with beds you can not make everyone happy so that's why I'm not dinging the star rating that much on it. My daughter used the pull out and that was 100x better than the king bed my wife and I had. Breakfast and dinner were great (Monday - Thursday they offered complimentary dinner). I would also like to mention the staff that made/served the meals did a great job and really made the stay enjoyable. My hats off to them; it made up for not getting a good nights sleep.

The suites are wonderful for an extended stay. Great location just minutes away from historic downtown Durango and the staff were truly great!

Loved the room, so did my husband, wish we had stayed there for our entire vacation, friendly staff, and very helpful, we will definitely stay there again

We stay here as often as we can when we are in Durango for work! The breakfast is top-notch, and the beverage and food pairings in the evening or perfect icing on the cake. Since it's just two girls usually traveling for work, we will eat breakfast there and then dinner so it's even economical :-)

Visited CO for almost 2 weeks. I stayed here for 3 days and this hotel was the best of all the hotels I stayed in throughout my trip. The rooms are super spacious and have everything you need. Everything was nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and each day there was something new to try. We did our laundry on day and also got to check out the pool. Overall great experience. If I visit Durango, I will be staying here again.

I've been on a several day road trip and this is the nicest hotel I've stayed at. The room was clean, had great amenities, breakfast was great. Next time I'm in Durango this is where I'll stay.

Update: Curt the GM gave me the $75 pet charge back and was so helpful. Thanks Curt for being understanding.

Horrible customer service. Ordell at the front desk charged me $75 for having a pet after someone quoted me a different price. Called and woke me up at 7am to tell me I would be charged. Another employee did not inform me of this charge or I wouldn't have stayed here. Should've honored the price I was originally quoted, but that's the customer service they have.

Great hotel. Comfortable, clean and quiet with reasonable rates. Decent buffet breakfast. The staff were all super friendly.

There is room for improvement. The hallway noise from the floor above was loud into the night from what sounded like running elephants. There were many children staying the night i was there. Breakfast room was large but insanely busy and crowded in the morning. The mattress was sagging and needed replacement. Otherwise a good value.

My travel plans changed abruptly and they were extremely accommodating. Also, while there the staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful! It's worth the few extra dollars to stay here!

I've stayed at this hotel many times and it's consistently solid and is usually my go to when staying in Durango. The rooms are clean, modern, and have nice amenities. The pillows are very soft, almost to the point of being non-supportive. The beds are very solid; firm but with just enough softness. Just on this stay, the shower was only able to get luke warm and even then, it took an extremely long time to get up to temperature. This have never been a problem in the past, the shower heads have a ton of settings and awesome water pressure. The breakfast is hit or miss depending on the day, but it's free! The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. I haven't noticed too much turnover, which says a lot. It's an easy pick for me everytime I visit.

Surprising a very nice hotel. Great room with a king bed and pull out couch. Had a full kitchen, free breakfast and free dinner (Monday through Thursday).

At the price point, this is much more then I expected. The staff was friendly and there was a small shop at the entrance.

Has a pull, hot tub and gym. Also a large hangout area up front with a fireplace

This was by far the best experience we have had in Durango. Kurt and his staff where very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms where nice and spacious with a full size refrigerator. The free weekday social with drinks was the icing on the cake for a family traveling. We will be back. Keep up the good work.

This place is so great for families. We stay every year and we have never had even a small bump. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The drive is very easy and about 5 minutes into the center of town. This is really the best place to stay for everything we do in Durango.

His place far exceeded our expectations. Like all Homewood Suites, it had a room with 2 queen beds and a separate TV and couch room. This was great for doing late night laundry while the kiddos slept. We loved the evening dinner and drinks offering and he breakfast the next morning was lovely. If we make it back to Durango, we will definitely return.

Staff was great! We arrived after midnight without any reservations. The manager and front desk clerk did a wonderful job setting us up with accommodations. Room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

With multiple stays at this hotel, I would certainly recommend. Close to Durango downtown. Shopping center across highway from hotel. Nice breakfast at hotel. Nice indoor pool and nice grounds.
The view out some rooms is less than desirable, as it is of the loading docks of the business next door.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and professional. Great place to stay to be close to downtown while missing out on those high prices of staying downtown.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner is great. Pool and jacuzzi. Not exactly walking distance to town but still a good location on the south side of town. Room is clean and the kitchenette came with dishes and utensils. I recommend this place.

AMAZING!!!! Friendly staff, clean suites, great prices!! Wonderful breakfast each morning and dinner every Monday-Thursday plus free wine and beer! I would highly recommend this to anyone needing a hotel.

My grandson and I could not have been treated better at this Homewood Suites Hotel. After loosing many of of my things through a break-in of my car in another hotel parking lot, the night before, I was so glad to be in better hands.
Their staff, especially Marley, gave me unexpected sympathy and a kindness of service which I might have expected at my Denver Four Seasons.

I've stayed here many times and it's one of the newest hotels in Durango. It's always been a pleasant stay but this past stay all of the caulk in my shower was molded. Other than that everything was very clean, the staff was great, breakfast was delicious and the beds are comfy.

Great staff. Thanks especially to Mary and Alex! One bedroom suite was large, with very comfy sofa bed. Housekeeping does a great job. Really appreciated the free breakfast, dinner and drinks M-Th. It is just enough to eat and so nice not to have to leave hotel to find a restaurant after a long day of sightseeing! Nice patio, indoor pool, hot tub and large exercise room. Would DEFINITELY recommend!

The suite we stayed in was excellent. Multiple rooms with separate thermostats. The kitchen, dishwasher, full sized fridge made it feel like a furnished apartment.

Great big room and pool plus jacuzzi. Very friendly front desk and decent breakfast included.

The breakfast was really good and the staff was excellent. Right across the street from the Harley shop and a short drive to downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

This Homewood Suites is amazing . The staff and facility are superb. The rooms are large and comfortable. The building is quite and modern.

Homewood is by far my favorite Hilton brand. This one is no exception. The hotel is fairly new and very clean. The front desk staff is fantastic. Even while completely sold out, the staff at the front desk remembered our names and where very inviting and professional. The breakfast bar and dinner/happy hour during the week are always a great touch when travelling too. If I had to give one negative, I would warn that its a bit of a haul to get into downtown Durango, that being said it's not bad at all.

The hotel was extremely clean and quiet, granted it was a Sunday night. The breakfast there was typical and extremely similar to a normal hotel hot breakfast, but the staff was what made the hotel stand out! From the person who checked us in to the servers at breakfast, everyone was extremely kind. Although the hotel is a bit too far from downtown Durango to walk, it is in a nice quiet location.

The suite with the kitchen was great. Full amenities, cookware, clean, modern, and comfortable. Will return as a customer.

Everything was great! My son loved the pool and we all had a great time! Breakfast was good but sleeping in made us almost miss it. Over all the staff was great!

Very nice set up. You get food every morning. You get an evening social meal Mon - Thurs. It helps save on eating out.

You can tell this place strives for excellence in the things that they do! It was such an enjoyable stay. Nice clean rooms. Big wonderful hot delicious breakfast. Filling delightful tasty dinner. I loved the exercise facility, hot tub, cozy comfortable accommodations in the common space and the social. I even like that there's parking on 3 of the 4 sides so you don't feel like you missed the prime parking

Newly built hotel. Nice amenities, good service. Rooms were clean. One thing I think they could upgrade are the mattresses.

There are 4 of us traveling and our room was HUGE. It was like having an apartment to share. Perfect location and great experience. Breakfast each morning was great and included in the stay. Very clean place also. Will look for these in the future.

We checked in and there was a dog barking in the room next to us. Management worked hard to get us in a quiet room, and have us some money to spend in the hotel store.

The space and layout was great! Very new and clean. Tasty breakfast but coffee was HORRID and shower was mediocre. We would definitely stay here again...if the coffee was better.

I gave this place almost a full year of business. Until they stopped their government rate. I'm not allowed to stay here unless it's meets gsa rate. So sad. Place was my goto place too.
Btw....this seems to be the only homewood suites that doesn't have a rate at or near the set price. i.e Albuquerque, El paso, Corvallis (Oregon),

Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Nice, but not exceptional, shower. The little kitchen area was very convenient and made me feel like I was at home. The staff were very friendly. I'd happily stay here again.

Beautiful location, and relatively spacious for events (graduation). I was only a guest of a guest but I know there were several problems with rooms being checked out for the correct number of days and to the right people. We did receive a free room, but the problem seemed so elementary.

Rooms are a bit small and basic but good. They don't cover their hdmi ports! I enjoy staying here.

Homewood Suites has been so incredible to work with. My husband and I had our wedding reception there in April and we were more than satisfied with the end results. Not only was out reception so beautiful, but the entire staff was just so great in helping us put together our party. They all were so understanding and allowed us to stop by at any time for any reason. We are so happy we chose Homewood Suites as our reception venue. And the room was very beautiful and relaxing. A great place to be after a long wedding day. Thank you!

Fantastic all the way around.
Rooms are new, modern and spacious (we took a suite so our daughters could go to bed early).
Hotel staff was unbelievably accommodating, good breakfast and the weekday free dinner was an unexpected surprise, especially after a day on the slopes and not having to go through the restaurant scene with wiped out kiddos.
My family and I will choose this hotel again next time in Durango.
