They did not on only a free breakfast but during the week they serve food as well at dinner time. This has been the quietest hotel I have ever been in, yet looking at the parking lot I see it is far from empty and children are there at breakfast. I could not ask for more.

Awesome place to stay. Breakfast was nice, Hotel staff was customer friendly and take care of customer at most priority. We were pleasantly surprised at the 2-bedroom suite we got. It accommodated our family of 6 and was clean and comfortable. The staff was great, and the included breakfast was very good and made the overall stay worth it. My only regret is not staying long enough to enjoy the pool.

Facility is too old and the hallways are too dark. Better lighting is needed in the windowless hallways. However, very good breakfast and friendly service in overall.

This hotel and their staff is absolutely amazing. The room was the perfect size and had everything you need for an extended stay. Loved the evening social Monday thru Thursday and the breakfast every morning. Definitely going to stay here again when I return to Portland

I usually stay at the Residence Inn When I visit Hillsboro, but this Homewood is my strong second choice. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. if I had to pick one area for possible Improvement, it's that the dishes and silverware seem very cheap and flimsy.

Beautiful hotel , beautiful staff , Denial (Night auditor) was very helpful. well equipped suite , fully equipped kitchen. All necessary items are available and placed perfectly in the suite. At the check in staff were very helpful (Omar and Halenie) and have smile, welcoming. Feel like home, easy to get into everything. Found two mint candy in the living room which made me so happy (wow a great idea), also mint candy are placed near by hand wash basin in restrooms for refreshment thats a unique idea.

They had me at free in room drinks and snacks. Very nice suites with a well stocked kitchen. The guy at the front desk was actually really nice and made me feel welcome.

This is a great travel team hotel. There is a complimentary breakfast which I hope they upgrade, a pool, outdoor bbq and indoor/outdoor eating area and washer/dryer which is a must for your young athletes. Service was fantastic and friendly. They even helped set up the team dinner and drink events by providing cups and ice. Definitely a place I would tell a travel team to stay at.

There is always something that could be improved but this place is a 5 star becasue of Cathy and her dedication to customers. It is facinating to see when someone is at the right place & doing great job. I must say other employees were polite & friendly too. The down part is that the Pool was closed for a weekend & noisy AC. The plus is a breakfast with plenty of choices,good mattress and AWESOME ppl.

I spent almost 3 months here after a house fire. The accommodations are great and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful.

Had a good stay. Only issues are little things that I don't feel are worth complaining about but here it goes. We have the premium sweet, our snacks were not refilled daily. Housekeeping never vacuumed or mopped. I had asked to use a few kitchen utensils so I could make dinner and they never brought it to us after asking a few times. I gave up. Other than that it was good.

Only there for a social event. The staff were friendly and helpful. We all had a great time. Did I mention the outdoor grill?

We got displaced on Christmas Eve due to a fire that we lost everything in. The management and staff here have gone out of there way to make sure we are comfortable and have made this difficult time much easier to cope with. We may be here a few months and at first I was hesitant. The staff have made it feel a little like home until we can find a new place. Hopefully soon we will find a new house or duplex with a yard that will take our dogs. This place is so nice I may not want to leave. The dinners served Monday - Thursday and the breakfasts served every morning are so good! The rooms are so roomy and the beds are very comfortable!

Very nice hotel to stay at. It is ment for longer stays then just a few days. They have a social time where the hotel serves drinks and food near dinner if people don't want to go out.

Stayed there for an event. Chose this property for free breakfast, and it was typical for this sort of place, but serviceable. King suite features a small pullout sofa, much too small for 2 kids.

After being misplaced due to a house fire. They were really great at helping us relax in the days after.

I have been staying in this Homewood suites from 2003 whenever I am in Portland on business trip. Very helpful staffs and their room kitchen , breakfast and evening social helps a lot for business stays. Few minor issues I faced in this year stays though for shuttle service and gym. But amazingly helpful staff and nice property.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. We especially appreciated the kindness of the ladies serving the food and their efforts to entertain and accommodate our young daughters.

This is a great hotel in the Portland area. King size bed, pull out queen in the couch, a sleeping and living area with a kitchenette. Bed was incredibly comfortable. When I found the shower to be clogged a maintenance person fixed it while I was away. The breakfast was delicious and included sausage, potatoes, waffles, fruit, cereals, biscuits and gravy, etc. However they do close early for us late sleepers and we missed out on breakfast the 2nd day.

Fantastic hotel for extended stay. Great staff with great amenities. Love the free dinner :)

Great mattresses we bought one like it. Good suite for the money! Friendly front desk people.

The room was clean and well-equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, stove top, and even a dishwasher. There were plenty of power outlets throughout the unit. The mornings had complimentary continental breakfast. This is an excellent place for extended stays and overnight guests.

Clean and well designed hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is good.

Check in time was 3 pm. When we arrived at 4:15, we were informed our room wasn't ready yet. It was being cleaned and then had to be inspected. We unloaded our car into the lobby and approximately 30 minutes later we could go to our room. The manager called our room to inform me she would not be charging us for our night in the room. Beyond perfect customer service! And totally unexpected.

The Homewood Suites was well organized, and the staff was kind. The rooms were large and well stocked with kitchen supplies. The sofa was a pull out bed. The room overall was clean. The breakfast provided was extremely nice and had a greater variety of food than that of most Homewood Suites.

Home comfy but lack of service for the night clerk contibuted to the 4 star instead of 5

Nice hotel. It is what is expected from a Homewood Suites. Crowds were a little full during dinner and breakfast service if you were a little late. Overall, good experience. Clean, quiet, and near stores and restaurants.

After their renovations finished, this place looks beautiful. With their breakfast and dinner included in your hotel stay. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

The hotel didn't seem that old, but the rooms felt a little dated. Maybe it was just the door key scanners. The breakfast was ok, but very canned. The room was what you would expect from a HWS, but the beds we're not super comfortable and the room would not get cold enough to sleep. Both nights were uncomfortable.

Nice facilities, decent breakfast, big rooms, tiny beds, outdoor pool without heat. Overall pretty decent.

First night here so I give 3 stars very nice my a.c. won't go adjust any cooler than 73 which is too warm for a Floridian. But staff very helpful may give another star after my complimentary breakfast.

The location is away from traffic and quiet. Rooms are large with kitchen and bedroom. Free breakfast and evening meals Mon - Thur. Food is better than I expected. Staff was outstanding.

The hotel is currently be renovated. I stayed in one of the newest rooms. It was very nice. Stylish, comfortable, and spacious. Monday-Thursday there is a complimentary meal and complimentary breakfast every morning. When the renovation is complete, this will be a stellar hotel.

Good hotel, great break fast. This hotel is certainly home away from home for Tektronix employees who come on business visits to Beaverton Office from across the globe. Homewood has been my preferred hotel for stay for many years. Very comfortable rooms, nice shuttle pick up/drop facility, and great location.
Rooms need an upgrade, I'm sure they will upgraded soon.

Great breakfast and light dinner. Clean room. Only ehh would be the showers were barely warm and very low flow water supply. I could hear the neighbors alarm going off 3x and some of the conversations. Sure glad we didn't have to hear other things! Lol

We booked a non-smoking room, and ended up getting a room that smelled as though someone had been smoking in it. They were very accomodating, and got us into a new room right away. Great staff, comfortable and clean. Could use an update, but otherwise our stay was great.

Very friendly staff, always asking if there's anything they can do for you. Good area, close to restaurants, easy hey access, great breakfasts. Really enjoyed my stayed here with my family , and would recommend it to all.

Prices are a little bit High but other than that great place to be great atmosphere fast and friendly service and the employees are on the ball

We are using this hotel for our wedding guests. We had blocked out 10 rooms about a year ago, and all of our guests had trouble booking their room at the agreed upon rate. We had to call them Everytime someone wanted one of our blocked out rooms just so our guests could stay.
The staff often did not return our calls and emails as well. When our family was able to reserve, the reservation dates became messed up and a few of our family members were shorted a day or two!
Upon check in all of them had complained to my fiance and I that they were treated poorly and with a lack of urgency.
As people that work in the hospitality industry we find this unacceptable and we are disappointed in the way it has been handled.

On the bright side the rooms are nice and sized adequately, clean but outdated decor. The dinner is nice as well and the pool is clean and comfortable.

The hotel looks old but the stuff make the different. They will make your vocation confutable. They will do anything to make you fill like home.
They got breakfast and happy hour dinner. They also got smoking rooms.

The room was very nice sized and clean when I got there. Neighbors were quiet (or if they were not, the walls were thick enough that we couldn't hear them).

Hotel room was pleasant enough for our family. Pool was well maintained and clean. Breakfast served was actually better than we expected. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 star review was some of the kitchen staff. A couple of ladies were happy to gossip, and didn't care the door was open and that the hotel guests could hear everything they said.

Very close to just about anything you need if your traveling. Wouldn't say it is amazing, but it has nice furnishing, it's quite even though it's close to the highway. There is a gym a short walk away as well as several restaurants and a gas station nearby so you can fuel up before you head out.

Good location, near mayor highway. Close to restaurants, grocery shopping, mayor client company office. Nice room, they need to remodeled and have a better room service, very disappointed yesterday.

My husband and I stayed on Saturday and Sunday night. We had a wonderful experience at Homewood Suites. The room was very clean and we loved having the living room separate from the bedroom so we could watch the World Series from the couch. The bed was comfortable. We encountered several staff and they were nice and helpful. We were surprised how quiet the room was since it's near a highway. Breakfast was good with a variety of hot items. We would definitely stay at Homewood Suites again.

Update 2011:

It's rare when a hotel makes it right, but this hotel now has my loyalty. Stayed here again this year. Yes, the shuttle was absent again, but found it was a problem on our team's side not scheduling it rather than the hotel's issue. The beds were great. We were able to bring pets. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and higher quality than usual. Will definitely stay again.

Update 2010:
Just spoke the the Hilton manager. They apologized, wanted to know how they could do better in the future, and refunded my money. While I was not satisfied with my stay, I was more than satisfied that they did the right thing by their customer. For that, I give them 2 stars back. Customer service is not dead after all! Thank you Homewood suites for doing the right thing.

I spent the week-end at the Beaverton Hilton Homewood Suites and am very angry about my stay. I typically Priceline a hotel for $30-40 (usually Marriot Suites) a night when we are at the annual Thunderbolt swim meet. However, this year, I chose Homewood although it was $115 a night based on the extras that were promised to our sports team on the swim team brochure.

My first unhappiness was arriving at the suite late at night as anticipated only to find no linens or pillows for the pull out sofa and an inadequate amount of towels based on the 2 adults/3 children I listed on my reservation. It is not fun being told we have to go fetch our own linens at 11 PM with sleepy kids to make up a bed. There was also something sprayed all over the leather seat that looked like a pet accident. Finally, the room was incredibly hot, incredibly small for a suite, and we were never able to sufficiently cool it off. The fan in the bedroom was very, very loud and the room was pretty shoddy.
