Wow we stopped here for the night and was pleasantly surprised and how spacious our room was. We were returning from a 2 week long vacation and loved that there was a full fridge to store our cold items in and we were able to cook breakfast the next morning. It was my first time at a Honewood Suites but it definitely won't be our last!

Very spacious suite with decent kitchenette and very large living room/office/bedroom area. Sink area is separate from bathroom which is nice. No tub for those that like tubs and water pressure in shower was very weak. Room was a little worn and aged although clean. It felt like a well worn home away from home. Breakfast was fine. Each day a hot meat and some type of egg along with standard fare waffles, cereals, fruits, pastries. The real standout for this property though is the STAFF. Everyone I dealt with or even ran into in the halls here was super friendly and helpful. They made me feel very welcome.

I'm a very frequent and very loyal Hilton fan...normally. I've stayed here twice now and can't wait to not have to again. It's the only option in the area for now. It's old and filthy. The service is terrible. The included breakfast is not edible. It seems like they are always completely full and have no rooms or time for their guests. Only reason for two stars is that it's better than a Super 8... But not much.

i have stayed at homewood suites previously and generally they are all the same. great breakfast, a basketball court a pool, great staff and more. sadly, this location did not live up to the name. the breakfast was quite lacking consisting of apples, cereal, and fake eggs. notice there were no waffles or pancakes. that’s right, no waffles or pancakes. the sausage seemed to have a plastic layer over it which both looked and taste like plastic. my family always goes out of our way to find a homewood suites and i’m not sure we’ll do that again😐

It was in a great location. Lots of restaurants and shopping to be seen/had/done. The hotel itself was above average. It had a lot of accommodations. However, the room in which we stayed had a lot of wear and tear. Handles were missing. The AC unit sounded like a tortured cat every time it started whirring. I didn't get very good sleep because of which.

Clean rooms. Clean lobby. Free provided breakfast was great. Dinner provided less so.

Pretty typical Homewood in a very nice part of town. There were a few things missing from the room that would have made it better - paper towels, dish detergent to wash my dishes.

Very clean and staff is courteous and nice. Breakfast included is amazing (not continental). The workers in the cafeteria area works very very hard. They’re constantly cleaning and continuously cooking and restocking the food. Very nice hotel doing some remodeling but doesn’t interfere with your stay would definitely recommend and come back.

Great hotel stay !!! Right in the middle of the town center, so you are walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rooms and beds were very comfortable and staff was super friendly. Would stay here again

When occupant above took a bath/shower, water poured in in our shower area. We moved to a new room and they upgraded us to a King room, two tv's for the inconvenience. Hotel needs some fix up. Free breakfast is nice.

I recently stayed at this Homewood location because of the area/location. I previously stayed at the Homewood Suites downtown Jacksonville and loved it! This experience unfortunately was not so great. This is a high traffic location, so I expected better service and room physicality. The wood floor in the room buckled and made a noise each time you walked over it, the top of the refrigerator looked like it had not been dusted in months, there was ring around the kitchen sink from water build up, and the noise from the room above kept us up at night. At 1:00 am in the morning I could hear the people above us walking and had to call downstairs. The trash can outside at night was over flowing with trash on the ground, and muddy foot steps I saw the night before..were on the floor by the elevators the next day. A visible stain on the curtains that needed to be cleaned or replaced. The front desk clerks were very nice, but over worked because it was just one person at each shift. I am in Jacksonville at least once each month and am a Hilton Honors member. Overall, it appears this location needs a little care and attention. I had hoped to have a better experience so that this would be my location and hotel brand of choice; however, unfortunately I may have to try and different hotel next time.

We had a great experience. The room was clean and well organized (queen bed/sleeper sofa). The breakfast was great!

Stayed at this place for a month. Amazing staff. Right from people at the reception very very helpful and friendly to the people in the kitchen and the housekeeping staff too. Rooms r spacious. Kitchen utensils are also available in the mini kitchen that they have. Always recommend Hilton. !

This place was a dream, and doesn't skimp on its amenities. Delicious breakfast served daily, swimming pool with BBQ and even a well lit half court for basketball. The room itself was immaculate, king size bed, a sofa and recliner. Kitchenette with dishes and flatware as well as full size fridge w/ ice maker and 2 burner stove. I highly recommend this hotel.

Deerwood park location in Jacksonville Florida, really great service and staff. Room was great, clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed the rooms and layout of the space was nice, however I felt congested when I entered the room and feel the air quality could have been the cause. We were only there 2 nights, so I didn't make a fuss about it. Kayla, at the front desk, was amazing for being the only person working that night with check-ins and room deliveries(towels, sheets, crib, etc..).

After having an extremely long and hard day, this hotel lived up to it's name because as soon as I arrived , from the enthusiastic greeting despite it being 315am to the clean comfy and quiet room, to the BEST service from Gayle @ breakfast - I felt like home.

The location of the hotel is awesome with lots of great shopping and dining right outside the doors. Nice selection on the complimentary breakfast. However, the pool closes at dusk and we really wanted any evening swim. Our room had a super musty smell to it and in general seemed a little frayed around the edges, like it needed updated.

Friendly staff, great location next to tons of food and shopping and clean and spacious suites.

I found the room to be very clean, the staff very attentive, and the complimentary breakfast to be great. Parking here is not too bad but the traffic in the St John's town center area can be. The location is very good and was a reasonable drive from the airport for me.

This hotel got the job done but I would not say that is was up to the standards of other Homewood suites I have stayed at and certainly not to have Hilton behind it... Breakfast was subpar and seemed premade/frozen. The rooms were okay but dated, would have been nice to have a real comforter on the bed, they use converted cotton mattress pads?! Bed was old and sank in the middle. Sheets were rough. Location and price were the only things going for this one.

Love to stay at this hotel when in the St. Johns Town Center. The staff is super nice!! The free breakfast buffet has a large variety of items. The rooms are very spacious.

This is by far the BEST hotel ive ever stayed. I am currently staying here through Hurricane Matthew and I feel very comfortable. The women who serve breakfast in the morning are THE NICEST PEOPLE EVER. Always asking what they can do for you, if everything's okay, how you are. I would stay here again for them alone. The rooms are very clean, the beds are super comfy, and the kitchen is so useful. Thanks for making my stay awesome!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Every single employee my family came in contact with (front desk, housekeeping, kitchen/breakfast staff) were extremely professional and friendly! You can tell that the employees here love their job because everyone is happy and very accommodating.

I really enjoyed the stay and was quite surprised by what the apartments have - dishwasher, full size fridge, and even a washing machine I believe. Breakfast and pool were a great combination for the morning although the breakfast would probably get repetetive soon but luckily the area has other options.

The most negative reviewes were about the desk stuff - not my experience at all. Both checkin and checkout despite late at night were handled with friendliness and without any problems! The only detail was that I got 25 USD hold on my card to be lift off after a few days but I was only informed at check out (not check in when I presented my card). It's probably a standard but had I realized I would have used a different card.

I stayed for one night and all was perfect. Exceeded expectations. 12 noon check out is also a plus over the somewhere standard of 10.

I was visiting my parents and needed a place to stay since they were downsizing. When I walked into the hotel my first expectations for a hotel in Jax were exceeses. It was a very nice hotel. It was clean, welcoming, and modern. I would stay again because it was worth the money.

My wife and I stayed there with our 2 dogs, a standard poodle and Kerry Blue terrier and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The front desk people were all very informative and in the morning the room keepers were just delightful in understanding our needs for our pets. The mid town mall is awesome and some fine outdoor pet friendly dining. We will stay here whenever the need arises in Jacksonville and we look forward to staying at other Homewood Suites.

Great place, clean friendly staff recommend to anyone we enjoyed our stay

We've stayed here before and have not had any issues. This time, not so much. Nothing major but small things you'd expect from a hotel that isn't a MAJOR BRAND NAME. First the room on the first floor we requested through on-line check-in was not ready. Maybe it was our fault for arriving at 3:50-55 pm instead of the 4:00 pm check-in time, but I doubt it. Second, the individual at the front desk, Douglas, gave us keys to a room on the second floor that didn't work when tried. Figure that was because there was someone already in the room because when I went downstairs to get the keys straightened out my wife said she could hear a television on in the room. SO, because Douglas had sent us to the wrong room I had to then take the family from the second floor up to the new room on the third floor in the completely opposite side of the property. Batting 1.000 so far.
Once in the correct room I noticed the room did not have a working smoke detector because where it was supposed to be were just the wires hanging from the ceiling. I called and let the front desk know about it and told them we'd be OK without it and she, Brittany I think, said she'd let maintenance know about it. Our reservation was for two adult/two children and the room only had three bath towels. Luckily we took a couple of towels for the younger child so not a big issue but who wants to share a bath towel, especially a young brother and sister. I could go on but I think I've made my point.
Again, it is a great property and we've not had any major issues with any stays we've had here and I do recommend this property as a place to stay. BUT a little better attention to detail would be nice.
