***editing to add that Courtney was our housekeeper the last couple of days and we LOVED her to pieces! She cleaned up our room really nice and made friends with the kids! It was like visiting with an old friend when she came around! So I will add a star to my review just for her!***

We were Sandy from the beach and had to wash off in cold water. I called the front desk and she said she'd are d someone up at a later time, but no one ever came by. My husband had been working all day and came back to the hotel around 11pm and wanted to take a shower but the water was still not working right. He called the front desk and all she said was "hm strange, we don't have that problem." A few minutes later he went back to the shower and it had high pressure and was hot, so apparently they fixed it. I also have a lot of problems with the WiFi. Low quality hotel for high prices.

Great location. Easy access to the interstate. Breakfast and evening reception food is decent. Cleanliness is great. Receptionist desk is friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with all the amenities of home. Comfortable rooms and spacious. Only drawback is dinner service can not keep up with the amount of people for meals/drinks m-thurs.

The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is pleasant and accommodating. However, the shuttle service can be an inconvenience if you use it for shopping. The drop off is easy but the pick up is a long wait. So if you don't plan to be in the shops for long, driving would be a better option.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was in Charleston for five days for a training. The staff made my time away from my family very enjoyable. All of the staff were great but I want to mention Rachel, Stephanie and Nicole. I will come again.

Very friendly staffs. Also super clean close to everything. But more than everything is their staff with that beautiful big smile on their face makes your day perfect.

We spent Memorial Day weekend here! Checked in Friday checked out Monday! The room was wonderful and the front desk employee was kind and sweet.The pool was nice and the breakfast was great! The problem was the housekeeping. We never once had a housekeeper come and do the normal service. Our trash piled up and nothing was replaced. We called down to the front desk Saturday when we got back from being out and explained no one had come. The girl at the front apologized and said she would send maintenance up with towels , soap, coffee etc. I informed her we were going out for dinner and we would be back. We came back the maintenance guy brought a stack of 10 towels placed them on the table along with the other items. I didn’t mind he brought that many but when you saw them you could see they were thrown on the table just in a messy way. The next day we went out again and came back and yet again no housekeeping. I said something to the front desk they sent someone 2 hours later she emptied trash and restocked. On Monday as we were leaving my husband was getting off the elevator and the elevator next to him opened and a housekeeper threw a backpack and almost hit him. She smile and said my bad. I get you might be short staffed or you hate your job but this was a little off for a hotel. I complained as we checked out and explained everything. The lady took my notes down and said she would get a manager back with me , here we are 2 weeks later and no one has called ! . We enjoyed the room and loved front desk staff. It’s a great room but don’t expect room service

Absolutely great hotel! The location was perfect, the hotel was beautiful, and the staff was amazing. We will definitely book here again when we return.

Worth every penny. Beds were incredibly comfortable, rooms clean and the kitchen set up is very nice especially if you're staying more than a couple of days. Even the toiletries were quite impressive at this price range. The availability channels were pretty nice with HBO included. They don't skimp on details. Even the iron was impressive! There are plenty of little shops within walking distance and being right of the interstate makes it a phenomenal location. The breakfast was what you would expect of a buffet. My only complaint would be the quiche was sub par. Scrambled eggs is a safe pick one shouldn't stray from

I didn't stay here myself, but I came up to visit my boyfriend for the day. The facilities were well maintained and felt very clean. It's also in a great location with restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Managers and front desk staff - Murray Barnes, Nicole, Elaine, Angela, and Rachel were all incredibly attentive when we needed to change rooms. Travis and other members of the kitchen staff were overwhelmed during breakfast due to the crowd. Regardless, they were responsive and ensured our needs were attended to. We will absolutely be back! Hilton is lucky to have this staff.

The WiFi is free, but coverage is poor in the room (friends in other rooms say they have great connection--probably a result of how far away the router is located); I have typically gone to the dining hall to get online. Free breakfast every day and free dinner with drinks Monday through Thursday is awesome if you're not a fan of overpriced fast food. The rooms themselves are nicely furnished and kitchens are stocked as you would expect (full fridge, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and two-burner electric range). The bathroom vanity is outside the room with shower and toilet, which is nice if both are simultaneously in use. The water pressure in the walk-in shower is great, though there's no low shelf for you to prop your leg up.

Nice hotel, friendly service. Good location close to airport, shopping, dining, and works well for my business travel needs. Rooms were clean and modern. There is an included breakfast and evening reception during the week which is an added bonus. I plan on staying again next time i visit the area.

I work for a local business that has reserved rooms for our employees on several occasions. I cannot say enough good things about the accommodations and amenities offered at Homewood Suites, and we have found the staff and management to be incredibly kind and helpful.
I would highly recommend this facility for any traveler headed for our beautiful city!

Great location. Away from the crowds. Just a block off the hip north King Street. 15 minute walk to the center of town. Great atmosphere. Pleasant and roomy public areas. Great customer service. Good breakfast options.

King studio was exactly as expected. Full size fridge is great. Very close to any restaurant experience you'd like and more.

Unbelievable experience! The staff is very friendly and was very accommodating during our stay. I have never been at a hotel that offers complimentary breakfast and dinner. This was definitely a plus. This hotel was very quiet and it does have a great "home" feel by its architectural design. Rooms are very spacious and they even have a fireplace in the lobby with children's board games for entertainment near it. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation. Especially fitting for families, but also would meet needs for anyone! This was our first stay at a Homewood Suites and am very confident that it won't be the last. Can't say enough! Great hotel!

Using HHonors points can be trying but I needed to use up points so I booked this hotel for 3 nights which included New Year's Eve. The hotel is clean, staff is super nice, breakfast has plenty of options. Our kitchen was stocked with cookware and dishes we needed and the front desk even gave us a bottle opener for our wine. We never heard any disturbances, our room was spacious and comfortable. I would stay here again for sure.

Hotel shows well. Double sided fireplace in lobby along with black walnut floors. Suites are nicely decorated. All have kitchens. Good breakfast served seven days a week. Full dinner served Monday thru Thursday with complementary beer and wine. Great staff that are friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

When working in Charleston we always try to stay at a Homewood. Excellent service. Very nice rooms and can't beat the evening ammenties. Beds are soft and cushy. Definitely a recommended stay..

When we realised we were going to arrive early we contacted the hotel if they could let us check in early.we were told to call 1hr before we get there. We did and was told they could accommodate us. When we arrived in town we went directly to the hotel and was told it will take 2hrs to get us a room. We went to stores close by to buy time and came back. We were told it will take 45 more minutes. Instead of leaving we sat about 5yds away from receptionist. We were visible to them. After waiting another 90 minutes and nobody was communicating with us. i went back to the desk clerk to ask. The desk clerk was reminding me of the actual checking time instead of fulfilling the promise to provide us with a room.
Needless to say I was upset because by this time we had waited almost 4hrs. We missed part of the activity we came to town for while waiting. If they had not promised to provide us with early check in it won't be a problem. They never made any effort to communicate with us even though they could see us seating.

Wow, our motorhome broke down and was in the shop for a bit, been through the double tree which was very nice. .. had to leave to go to the Best Western ..what a mistake stayed only one night, Homewood is beautiful, the staff, the driver of the shuttle and room and rates were fantastic. Totally recommend this place

Location was great. I was staying overnight with my wife and 1-year-old. I can't say enough about how much we loved having the bedroom separate from the living and kitchen area. After putting the little one to bed, we were able to enjoy some food from the japanese restaurant that backs up to the hotel, maybe 50 yards away. Would stay here again!

Nice place for long stances. Rooms are very big. The only thing i would change is the refrigerator, it is very noisy at night. The staff is always helpful.

Clean comfy place. Several minor issues...coffee maker in room not clean, no trash can in room other than recycle bin (which is a nice thought), had to wait for coffee and several other things at breakfast since they were depleted. But overall all would still include on my list of places to stay.

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. We swam at the pool and the kids loved the games in the living area. Breakfast was very good. The staff was also very accommodating.

I love this hotel very much. I worked there almost two years and I wish I had never left. When I worked there and stay there it was a home away from home. Coming in and seeing smiles on people face made my day when we all seen People with smiles on there face that made our staff happy because they all know they are doing there job right. The employees are wonderful there and they always try to make sure guest are happy.... Will try to the best that they can. Other then that the room great the service is great and the people that work there are great. I miss you all keep up the great work that you guys are doing and improving to make the guess happy gooooooo Lewis and gooooooo homewood suites you guys are the best.

Very comfortable for long term visits. Free breakfast 7 days a week (hot food! eggs, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, etc), free dinner Mon - Thurs, nice pool area, decent workout facility (plus daily free passes to a local gym). A++

First time staying in a homewood suites and this place blew me away. I was born in raised in Nassau, Bahamas where tourism is our main interest and this place in Charleston South Carolina still impressed me. The staff was all extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast servers were awesome and very personable.

The staff was very helpful in getting me a room at the last minute. The room was one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in! They were very courteous and professional! They even drove me the next morning to pick up my vehicle! Definitely a place I will stay at again next time I'm in Charleston!!!

I have always enjoyed the rooms and service at Homewood Suites. Aside of nearby airport traffic noise, this Homewood Suites is in an excellent location with plenty of points of interest close by.

Minus one star for not having a room ready that was booked about four months in advance. My family had to wait over two hours for our room to be prepared. There was no reparation. Luckily, neighboring venues helped us bide our time.

What a great experience! Staff was friendly and very accommodating (Tara at Front Desk, especially)! The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was as comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel. The 5-7pm social is a great touch. The location is great...just a hop, skip, and a jump from downtown Charleston...at half the price of the downtown hotels. Great value and wonderful facility!!

Hotel is very cozy. Breakfast and a social hour with food each day which is really nice. They offer grocery shopping services. Rooms have nearly full kitchen (only missing an oven) and are equipped with everything you could need. Living room and bedroom are a little small compared to other suites I have stayed in. Also breakfast is only open for 2 hours so if you don't set an alarm you will miss it. Pull out couch was full of crumbs so I'm guessing they only check those if someone clearly pulled it out so that makes me question if the sheets that were on it were clean. Overall though nice hotel in a good location.

Good stay for family. Complimentary breakfast and suite rooms with kitchen, near the airport and close to Tanger Outlet which has a variety of restaurant options also. If you are traveling with family and in need for a kitchen with all necessary amenities go for this hotel. Staff is very courteous also.

The room was very nice. Loved the breakfast, and the evening meal provided M-Thur was a very pleasant surprise. All staff that I encoutered were very polite and courteous. There is a shuttle to the airport, which is only about a 10-15 minute drive. Overall, a very satisfactory experience.
