Close to work, small and low key. Great location if you are working or visiting Mira Mesa. Plenty of worked class breweries around to visit. Don't forget the frequent military keys that take offer from Miramar that will drown out any conversation you were trying to have.

Great Location, right in the heart of Mira Mesa. Rooms are big. My room has full kitchen. They have complimentary breakfast which has many options, we love it. Customer service is Awesome, the staff is really good, they take good care. Plenty of parking, Definitely recommend.

The best continental breakfast in Mira Mesa. When flying in for work I prefer Hyatt House, after trying all the others. The rooms are great, and if you are staying for a while they have suites with kitchens. The courtyard is a nice way to wind down with a drink or wake up with breakfast. It's right in the middle of everything in that area.

I would probably have given 4.5 stars but I can’t do half star ratings. I like this hotel overall but there were a couple things that could be better. The shower did not get cleaned well and they deactivated my key card at exactly 12:00 giving me no time cushion to pack stuff in my car causing me to get locked out of the hotel around the back where my car was parked. With 3 kids and my wife we had a lot to pack so this was a major annoyance. There is also only one ice machine in the hotel - located in the laundry room where it is always hot and there was never any ice. I do like the breakfast though.

I was a little disappointed. Large suite with full kitchen like I wanted, but needs a good deep cleaning. Cabinets and furniture had food residue on them. Leftover food in the refrigerator when I checked in. I was there for seven nights and housekeeping never swept or vacuumed. One of the better guest breakfasts I've had in a long time. Made to order omelet bar, good selection of food, and was hot and fresh

Cute little rooms, well furnished, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is great. There's a lovely little outdoor area for drinking and dining with a cozy outdoor fireplace.

Ordered the Lemon Drop Martini and it was delicious! Service was a little slow, but other than that it was good! Love that there is a long happy hour (4PM - 8PM).

One of the best family hotels in San Diego. The hotel gives you facilities like fully furnished rooms, a shuttle to roam around 5 miles near the hotel, delicious breakfast (complimentary), Rich ambience ( Bar, fireplace, spa, pool) under just 200-300 per day.
The hotel is placed excellently placed, with public transport easily accessible.

I can’t say enough for this hotel. Beautifully appointed, entire property super clean. They have all sorts of board games available for you to play, free of charge. Our family took advantage of that. Lovely patio with fire pit, great pool. Breakfast delicious and the staff goes above and beyond.

Clean and comfortable rooms that had been recently updated. I loved that they picked up groceries for no additional charge and had extra items like yoga mats for borrow for free!! Feels like home.

Nice hotel with a kitchen that has everything you need. Great complimentary breakfast. I'm only giving it 3 stars because for one, there is a toddler staying above us and she is literally jumping from furniture to the ground and I swear it sounds like she's about to fall thru to our room. The walls are thinner than a sheet of toilet paper. I can hear conversations from the other guests above us and to the sides of us. Also, this is day 3 here for us and the cleaning ladies just came by at 5 p.m. to do their work. We had been in downtown San Diego all day and to walk into a room that wasn't restocked with toilet paper, fresh towels or the trash taken out, was a disappointment.

Very friendly staff, the breakfast is good too.
The beds are quite comfy and the rooms are somewhat spacious, especially the suites.
The pool is heated.
The fitness room could be larger, but it's still good.

We love this place and stay here frequently when in the San Diego area. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The suites are roomy with great features and the regular rooms are comfortable.. Great breakfast and good coffee included.

Got the king suite over looked the pool and had a balcony. Was very spacious and quiet. The room had everything we needed we had an excellent stay. The spa is small but we were the only ones there. Very handicap friendly pool area and with a cool fireplace ans hang out area. The breakfast spread had lots of variety. Even white rice and miso soup. Grocerie stores within 3 mile radius including shopping. Would stay again

The staff here is excellent-super friendly, very accommodating and seem to genuinely love people. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and really make you feel like you have a home away from home. The breakfast buffet could use a little pick-me-up (I referred to their "French Toast" as "Sad Toast" the entire stay) but it's definitely not the worst thing I've ever had.

The happy/social hour by the fire pit is the perfect thing after a long day of work and any issues that we had during our stay were taken care of promptly. They even brought us a hand-written card and fruit/cheese plate for the inconvenience.

I'd recommend giving customers a heads up when there is construction going on nearby but I'd definitely recommend staying here and would come back again.

I loved this hotel, the management, service, food was top notch. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Loved the omelette guy in the morning. Rooms were clean.

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Free breakfast and good amenities. Also took advantage of the shuttle bus, which was free and takes you anywhere within 5 miles. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Can't believe this is a Hyatt. Rooms look they were changed from a lower graded hotel. Booked room early but not even ready- had to wait several hours to return @ 3pm but my room still not ready. Also had main elevator out for a period. Many walls have chips, gouches, scratches, needs attention. Couch was torn. Loud noisey groups after 10pm in courtyard- two nights -had to call desk twice. Here on business but I will let my company know not to book this place for further business in area. Nicer places close by.I expected better from Hyatt.

Great place to stay with friendly staff. The suites even have patios to dine al fresco! We were celebrating my birthday and they surprised us witj delicious cheesecake. Definitely a place I will come back to.

The bedroom was nice and clean, the same to the bathroom. Couldn't find anything wrong. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The food is better than average in quality.

Comfortable place to stay, has all the basics I expected on my business trip. Staff very helpful and got all my needs sorted immediately.

Minor issues present. A light did not work. Cleaning left some grime in bathroom sink. Not a big deal enough to really care about though.

Great place, check in counter ladies could do a much better job with providing professional customer service. I work hard for my money and when I'm using it to finally get away, take a weekend trip, I'm happy, I'm excited and expect to be treated accordingly especially when I'm treating them as a friend and not hired help. What people don't understand is that the dollars guests pay go to the bottom line which are their paychecks so appreciate customers and greet them with a smile. Customer service is key when your in the hospitality business. Other than that, hotel is perfect!!!!! Not super kid friendly but great stay nonetheless. Breakfast is excellent. I'd stay again but wouldn't put up with the attitude! Not for $250 a day for a few hours to sleep somewhere. Not the greatest location.

Started here for 3 weeks in September. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very good spread for breakfast.

The location is on the middle of a business district, so you'll need a car to get to the city/food/entertainment. The rooms are generously large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the parking is plentiful and safe. Basically a great budget place to stay if you just need a place to sleep while in the San Diego area.

One of my favorite things about the Hyatt House is the Breakfast! Buffet style and of course the well kept rooms and how quiet the halls and rooms can be... It could benefit from adding USB connections to charge phones especially by bedsides.

Comfortable, clean, hospitable. We stayed just one night at the Hyatt House Sorrento on an overnight vacation from Los Angeles. The beds are comfortable, and it is quite convenient having a fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave in the room. The shower has good pressure and the toiletries are good quality. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! (The pork sausages are really good.) I would be thrilled to stay here again.

Three stays and 5 strs for each stay. The front desk is awesome. The breakfast overall is okay, but the guy making the omelets is the best.

The Location was good. For an apartment like style, it was roomy enough for a small Family.
The Staff Members were all Extremely helpful; professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend your Establishment to everyone.

When we pulled out the couch to plug in our electrical belongings;. There was a pile of dirt..... That looked like it had been there a long time.....
The Fridge still was Filthy. Having to wipe out Crumbs and even some sticky Jam off the shelves.
The Counter Tops hadn't been finished wiping either😏. There was dirt on the Cupboards that needed cleaning and dirt smudges on the Doors themselves.....
* And the 2nd night I, ( as The Grandmother ) had to just sleep on top of the Couch because the Pull-out Bed was so Lumpy & Terribly Uncomfortable.... Very painful night.....

My stay at the Hyatt House has been phenomenal. The staff is very friendly and courteous, and the service is quick. When I request an item for my room it usually arrives within the next five minutes. They also provide other services that have made my stay much more enjoyable. Their complimentary breakfast is both convenient and delicious, with an omelet bar that is supprisingly fast. Their shuttle service, which operates for free in a five mile radius, has also improved my experience immensely. Overall I am completely satisfied with my stay at the Hyatt House.

Great place to have a weekend getaway. The continental breakfast was great. The room kitchen is great. They even have laundry service. And they also have a laundry room if you need to use it.

The bed was soft and comfortable, there was free breakfast and the living space was spacious and had everything needed. My only issue was the smell of some previous occupant that left from the kitchen that left the whole room smelling bad.

The room was incredibly comfortable. It was spacious and clean. The concierges were very helpful with every question my wife and i had. The view from our window was beautiful while retaining privacy even though it opened onto the entry parking lot. I would love to stay at another Hyatt House, especially for a longer stay.

Had a work training meeting in the second floor conference room. Room was nice, coffee prepay for the event was good. AV equipment was good.

Fairmont is known as a great resort. But this one just feels like you can truly "stop the world I want to get off" and they will take care of it for you. The environment indoors and outdoors will captivate all your senses and leave the world behind you. The staff is cordial, attentive and available at any time. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is definitely at 12!!! Sometimes you just have to spoil you and your BFF!

Only stayed there one night so far but so far the room is clean and modern. The breakfast was good (where was the thick cut bacon they promised? ). Overall, no complaints.

Staff are great and super helpful. The omlette maker is fantastic. Breakfast is good. There is a decent amount of road noise street side, so I suggest avoiding that if you can. Room is in good condition less a burn hole in the couch that I reported. I like the decor and king bed is super comfy. Room is very clean. Would stay here again. We (family of 4) chose to stay here because we like the chain and wanted a location in-between SeaWorld/San Diego Zoo and Legoland. Easy on/off highway. Fit the bill!

I came here for a family vacation for 2 nights and 3 days. The staff was really inviting and friendly. We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and it's accommodations. The full kitchen was really helpful as we like to cook rather than eat out. They provided a lot of things such as games, hygiene and etc. The only thing I would not was the weird shell in the room my run smelled like vinegar and it was really strong and lingered throughout my stay.

We are enjoying our stay here. The king suite is really large with a full kitchen, complete with stove top, microwave, and refrigerator, which is why we chose Hyatt House. The hotel offers free breakfast that is mediocre. The made to order omelette station is a nice touch but the overall good quality is just okay. The room looks like it was recently renovated but the quality of construction wasn't the best, to be honest. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Located north of downtown San Diego. Easy to get to. Really spacious rooms. Made-to-order breakfasts. On that subject, though, bread products were surprisingly absent (i.e. there was not a bagel, piece of toast, roll, or muffin, to be found anywhere). The lack of bread notwithstanding, however, it was a nice place to stay.

Hyatt bar service was good. Beer selection on tap was limited. Only 4 beers from 2 breweries. Would have liked to see more options on tap. Decent prices on bottled beer.

Great service, great price on a 1 bedroom suite with King. Loved the heated pool for my 3 year old. The whole hotel was clean and modern. I liked the free hot breakfast, but I do wish there was more than one meat choice available to go with the eggs. Overall, I'd go back again!

It is rare to be impressed on every level during a hotel stay. The staff are extremely helpful from offering their shuttle service and coming up with great ideas for local restaurants. The breakfast is really more than expected. The rooms are great. The only thing I would say is the outdoor pool is located under the shadow of the building for most of yhe day. Overall awesome experience for sure though.

Lots of breweries nearby which is nice. Was a busy weekend I stayed here. Lots of sports teams. So it was loud and the free breakfast was pretty crowded. Didn't make it to the pool but it seemed nice. Room was decent size. Though the walls do seem very thin.

We stayed in the one king bedroom not a suite, it was clean and well taken care of perfect price point for our family, the breakfast was great and not overly busy well monitored and stocked all the way through with plenty of seating. Also was glad for the free parking. Great place to stay.

Staff is kind and good at what they do, free breakfast (which is actually really good), free decent wifi, nice rooms, and has a pool and a workout room. I really can't say enough good about this place, I highly recommend it.

I was staying at the hotel from the 12th to 15th of this month the attention was excellent frontdesk .in the breakfast area ay mu good costumer service the hotel is very comfortable and very good breakfast beautiful. The cleaning of the rooms did not like the day we arrived my husband and I got a habitaciondonde the houskeeping not change the sheets and they were dirty and the bathroom floor was replete withallegorical hairs this room was on the fourth floor .Then I changed room the second wing floor 284 room very clean I liked the suiente day when I Sieron service the clean only houskeeping the room but did not put toilet paper did not put towels not put me coffee cream did not put paper towels this hiso for two days He does not put anything in the bathroom or the bedroom cocina.La I pay and it's not fair that when you enter the room you can not find what you need .Mi Name is Belkis

The staff is excellent, location couldn't be better if you work walking distance, and food great. My only gripe whatsoever is the poor bandwidth at this location 2mb downstream and .1 to even less upstream make working from the hotel room or streaming anything next to impossible.

Stayed here for 2 days and loved every minute of it. The rooms where clean, the staff very pleasant and professional. The morning breakfast was awesome and delicious! We will definitely book here again.

This hotel is so cool that they even offer a library of books, board games for the family to borrow (ok, this yurned me into mush!!! I love it!)
And they will even go as far as to shop for your groceries and stock the fridge in your suite if you order the service.
