4 star hotel. Modest. Clean and comfortable. Shoppers will find it well located in Siam area. Its 2 minutes away from the Sky train station.

Best hotel ever. Even though its only a 4-stars rated hotel, their housekeeping, room services and staff services are all 5-stars standard. Received a free upgrade during our stay December 2017. Housekeeper did a good job during our stay, cleaned the room thoroughly and they even used some cleaning agent to wipe the mirror so that it wont fog after a hot shower.

Nice and clean hotel, staff are friendly and very helpful. Located right in the centre of Siam Square, surrounded by major mega shopping stores and department. Easy to find good Thai food. Very useful place to stay as it is very easy to go round Bangkok.

I came here for a buffet dinner. Both food and dessert were fantastic. Only two dishes turned out to be disappointing: (tasteless) potato salad with smoked bacon and (really salty) mushroom soup. These aside, the service was pleasant and it was a good meal. One thing that I found annoying was that the lobby is extremely noisy at night. But I guess this is to be expected from a hotel situated right in the middle of a city center.

Always stayed here whenever i visited bkk because of its central location.
Easily accessible via airport train to bts. Within walking distance to many shopping and eateries.
Cheap massages just across the street.

It's convenience as it is very near to siam train station. Have I said that the bed is one of the best and very comfortable, I had a very good night sleep.

Fabulous location coupled with friendly and helpful staff. "V" in the exec lounge is outstanding. Rooms clean food great - have stayed before and will again. Good for business and pleasure. Would highly recommend it.

Good service. Mistakenly booked a room with 2 single beds hence i requested to have a king bed. My wife and I are very happily they acceded to our request. The hotel is beside the BTS which is convenient and is opposite the paragon which has cinema and is good for late night movie. The room was clean and air con was strong with good ventilation. The hot water from the shower was instantaneous unlike the usual type which needs to wait awhile for the cold water to run off. However, the basin was pitted and has heavy signs of wear and tear.

We went during late March. It was very busy and the staff were a little overwhelmed. Nonetheless, they were polite and very helpful. The location is a great spot to get the malls. It was very easy to get to the BTS and there’s many things happening around it

Highly recommended for families and those wanting to be close to major shopping centers. There are at least three within comfortable walking distance from this hotel. It is also surrounded by so many interesting shops, cafes, restaurants, and local eateries to fulfill your wishlist. The hotel room is quite spacious and clean, and their staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Fantastic location if you are in Bangkok for shopping. MBK, Siam paragon, Central world are all within walking distance away. Siam station is a minute walk and very handy to get around in heavy Bangkok traffic. They were doing renovations so noisy during the day in some of the rooms including mine. Staff are very friendly and helpful, they made reservations for me at a very popular restaurant the day I arrived. Didn't get to use the pool as it was raining the day I stayed but looked very well maintened. There were also restaurants and a fitness centre within the complex. ATM located at lobby and free WiFi. Had a very pleasant experience, would definitely recommend.

Central location to all shopping areas with lots of options for places to eat. The hotel is old and could use major updates but my room was very clean and staff very accomodating esp with construction going on. But this did not bother me as the noise was very minimal and hardly noticeable.

It's a very nice place! On the lobby there is cool chairs, comfy sofas, solo seats, a gaming area, nail salon, the soccer game where you hold sticks and twirl the sticks to make the ball get in the goal. Warning is if you check out you immediately lost your internet.

Booked a triple-bed room but bed was not ready when we entered the room. Asked for the third set of towel and was asked whether we wanted it as complimentary. We paid for the 3rd bed AND towels. 2nd day went back to hotel around 4pm and there were no towels. Hotel did not have enough towels. Duh...
The location is good. Many massage at the side. 7-11 downstairs. If not for the lack of housekeeping, would give this hotel 5 stars

Really good place to stay. The rooms are clean. Currently the room im staying in has a hip minimalist feel to it. The staff is friendly and breakfast has a good range of dishes to choose from. The lobby looks very modern with nice swing chairs that hang from the ceiling and has a bar that seems pricey but i personally have not had the time to check.

This well loved hotel, as of stay, is renovating the lower floors. I stayed at the Executive alounge and it has a new look, chick and very homey with great views of this part of Bangkok. Ease of check in and check out via the Premier Lounge, great food at the Gourmet Bar and love the access to the cocktails, breakfast and refreshments at the Premier Lounge. The new lobby is stunning and modern and designed for business and for the family. This is a highly recommended hotel to stay when in Siam Square.

Check in was delayed as my booking was not updated in the hotel's system as explained by the staff. The matter was eventually resolved and the staff gave us a complimentary upgrade as gesture of goodwill.
The overall stay at the hotel is excellent as usual and the staffs are all very friendly and helpful.

It was a warm welcome and a comfortable stay at Novotel Siam Square.

The complimentary room upgrade to the top floor with city views was the best welcome and we enjoyed our welcome drinks at the cozy bar at midnight. We appreciated the fruits left behind after your colleagues made our room and we had some really good room service, especially because we were hungry at 1 am and nowhere else near was open nor did any delivery service reached us. Breakfast in bed was also a beautiful way to end our stay and made us want to extend our stay there! The chocolates at the lobby bar was also delicious! Will be coming back to try the waffles!!

Experiencing the gym and the pool, it was decent enough for us to get in a short workout daily before breakfast. Though the gym was not as fully equipped, it was good enough to get in a quick session.

Overall the experience was pleasant and we would not mind returning to Novotel.

Nice rooms, great pool and functional gym. Reception and concierge very helpful. Buffet breakfast is not bad. The cleanliness of the rooms and throughout the hotel cannot be faulted. All staff are friendly. Very close to the metro station that takes you to and from the airport.

Location is great, near the BTS and several shopping centres. Rooms are dated but functional. The towels were not very clean which was a little disturbing. The room service lady always had a pleasant smile and greeting. Facilities are decent and some of the hotel staff were absolutely fantastic but some are not so good and the front desk was not as efficient as I'd hoped. The live music on most nights was a pleasant. The dumpling buffet on level two was good too. The massage is good and decent value given the convenience and a promotion at certain times.

It was a very pleasant stay except for the following:

The odor from varnish or paint at the 6th floor corridor was awful.
The long queue at The Square buffet breakfast.

By the way, thank you for upgrading our room to junior suite. It made our stay more comfortable.

Hotel decoration is nice and unique. Room is clean. Very convenience. Near to shopping area and spa.
Breakfast is good. Will continue to stay in this hotel for my next trip.
Just to highlight, toilet shower area a bit dangerous as they do not provide non slip mat and the glass door is dangerous too.

When my family decided to join me in Bangkok, I looked for a central location and came across Novotel and decided on it from the reviews it has received. It is in the center of Bangkok with easy access (walking) to the best shopping areas and the skytrain. The employees were extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I have experienced. Room service was excellent. We hope to back in Bangkok in two years time and will definitely stay at the Novotel on Siam Square.

the location is good, However, the facilities are too old, the room, the bathroom needs to be update. there has mold in the toilet.

I hope your swimming pool will be up to the standard after maintenance because my boys were getting hurt by the sharp tiles.

This is the hotel I would stay whenever I visit Bangkok. Its nice and great location for the value. The hotel breakfast does not have vegetarian dishes. Even if there is, it will be one or two dishes. There are more and more vegetarians around,it will be good to have a few more dishes.

There was a scene i spotted in the cafe located in the lobby. A lady was preparing a cold drink for a group of customers who seemed to be on business discussion. She used a long spoon to taste on the drink and put the spoon back to a jar, after adding ice into the drink, she stirred the drink with the same spoon, without washing it earlier. It was disgusting!! The hotel management should look into staff hygiene seriously. I wanted to stop the customer from taking the drink but too late. I have reflected to the front desk manager but not sure if he took any action. I hope something has been done. But I might think twice going back to this hotel.

I must give compliment to a staff, TOR, he was very helpful with our checking in and attended to us very well. He is always smiling, its very pleasant to welcome us in such way. Thanks, TOR.

Other than worn mattresses in the room (we had two), our stay at Novotel has been a wonderful experience. Suggest to get this undesirable attribute resolved so that guests do not awake to chiropractic issues. Otherwise, I will gladly rate your hotel an 8 out of 10.

Great check in process with a separate room for Accor plus members. Accommodated my request for early check in and extra bed for my child, which I really am thankful for the help rendered. Very wonderful friendly staff everywhere.

Rooms are standard Novotel, nice. Just that we observed a few small cockroaches in the toilet on a few occasions. May be something can be improved in your pest control.

Hotel is in good location. Short walk to the prime area and close to Siam Paragon. Room is decently clean and kudos to the hotel staff who are welcoming, friendly and accomodative. Food though is average and there is still room for improvement. Try consider introducing serving 'Halal' corner. You'll be amazed on how Muslim guests will put good words on your hotel.

It was good to see the foyer had been renovated. The check in and check out was very smooth and the room was very spacious. The breakfast was very good value.
The bar staff in the lobby need to be sure that they match what is said about "happy hour" that appears on the in-house advertising and what they serve. There was confusion over the day and what was included. Not a big deal but not up to the rest of the hotel staff's knowledge and helpfulness. Otherwise, a good place to stay and convenient for what I had to do.

Hi, I booked a standard room with Novotel Siam for 3 nights (15-18 May), but the room 1505 shows the hotel age even if it's very clean, bathroom definitely needs refurbishment. Then, I decided to take up Cherry's offer of a junior suite, which is totally new, modern and elegant. Very happy with her recommendation, and enjoyed the lounge dining benefit, Wor and chef made us feel at ease. Also thankful to Peter on the first day of check-in, he made us feel very welcome and energetic. Keep up the high standard, Novotel!

The check in staff, Cherry and Tar were efficient and helpful. We were happy that the team made an effort to acknowledge my husband's birthday and provided a piece of birthday cake and greetings. Lobby area was newly renovated and children friendly with kids corner, however the rooms are very old and definitely needs to be revamp soon.

Its always nice to be back at Novotel Siam Square. The convenient and highly accessible location aside, its the people that make the difference! Check-in was fuss-free and ready even though I arrived in the morning- room was ready. My request was also met with even without my asking if it can be done- room near lift for easy access for elderly mother. I did not manage to get the name of our housekeeper on Level 12 but she made us feel very much at home with the room done up neatly and fresh as we come back from a day's walking about. Kudos to the team that complete the entire Novotel experience always! I look forward to coming back in Aug/Sept with another group of friends.

Generally this time the experience is pretty good. I am Impressed with the newly renovated lobby area. Hopefully next time when I am there again, the room will be refurnish as well! The only down side is we there is a baby cockroach in the bathroom when we just check in. Manage to kill it and luckily it didn't appear again. Generally is still a good stay. Looking forward to my next stay with novotel.

The location is fantastic. It is near to Siam station and massages shops just outside that open till 1am. Hotel staffs are friendly and the gave us late check out to accommodate our evening flight departure. 👍🏻. I will definitely stay here again.

Very warm welcome from all staffs, started from my arrival to my departure. I access Executive Lounge, coffee shop for breakfast and bar fro drinks, all off staffs gave me very good attention. Room is very comfy and clean. This hotel is also very close to the main chopping area and BTS. Very convenient if we have plan to explore the city by public transport.

We love the hotel location we stayed. We like the late check out at 2pm which not many hotel chain do that.
And also the lovely surprise for my wife's birthday.
The bath facilities can be a little better. I haven't been to a 4 or 5 star hotel which still use a rubber water stopper for their bath tub for a long long time. It actually shocked me.

Excellent staff. Prompt and attentive service. Building due for renovations. Had to change room due to old plumbing with no hot water for shower. Bathrooms are dated compared to competition. All other aspects satisfactory.

Wonderful hotel. The position is superb. It is right in the centre of the shopping precinct and across from the overhead rail system. The staff are just so helpful and friendly and the restaurants are excellent. We have been staying at Novotel Siam Square each time we visit Bangkok over the past 20 years. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The overall stay at the hotel was good. The room was good but the towels provided are in a way look clean but it was smelly. All 3 days with towel changed and all was smelly. It was cleaned and properly fold but it has those smokey or cigarettes smell and is unbearable.

My family and self stayed at the Novotel Bangkok for 1 night. This is our second stay at this hotel. We had a really nice stay. The front desk and staff were friendly and spoke in English. The hotel is very conveniently located to the shopping centres, restaurants, massage places etc. The breakfast is really good with lots of different varieties. This review only applies to the restaurants on the 1st floor. There is a very nice international buffet on one side, and a Chinese-style restaurant at the other side. I prefer the former, not just becase of my personal taste but because of the wider variety of food: not just Western dishes but Thai, Japanese and Indian food as well.

Great rooms, amazing buffet breakfast and a decent gym. What else does one need for a great vacation! There is a pool here as well. Location is very central to everything important. Paragon, CetreWorld, MBK, train, etc.

Whole experience was destroyed by the EXTREMELY RUDE receptionist(s). The language they used was disrespectful.!The receptionists were just plainly objecting when we asked to get the parking stamp, even if we were hotel guests, and DID NOT LISTEN TO WHAT WE WERE SAYING (even though we spoke in thai). We were telling them that we are guests but they kept on objecting to everything. They then took our parking card and gave us another one which was wrong. This caused us many problems and wasted over 1hour of our time.

On the good side, the doorbell people were nice and the management was apologetic. Room was clean, spacious and location is extremely convenient.

If you want to visit central bangkok without using trains or taxis, this is the place to stay. A little bit old, but ok, friendly staff and good own restaurants. But be sure to ask for a no smoker room. That was a little hackle the last time.

Good hotel , clean room , good location

This particular building of this well respected hotel chain is looking a little old. The hotel is currently under renovations to update the rooms however both the rooms we stayed in were well below the quality of what we signed up for. On arrival we were told we'd have to sleep in separate beds in a smoking room; the room was pretty bad and stank. When we asked for the room we'd booked, we got it, however the no smoking signs (and sensors) meant nothing as we woke up every day to the smell of filthy pipe smoke coming through our airconditioning.
Bathroom facilities were mouldy in both rooms and features no exhaust fan. I accidentally spilled some liquid soap and noticed the slick next to the sink everyday and wondered what house cleaning did besides sheets and towels.
For the location and price one can add that at least it is somewhere to sleep.
The open air pool is on the 4th floor which is well below the smog level, so is great for the lungs as you can imagine. Buffet breakfast was good, however the chef needs to source better bacon.

Only one night and that was short.... nice room compact but luxury style..... Pleasure to be there.. busy hotel in busy convenient location... so we paid the premium.
