This is the Best place to Stay when you visit Brownsville! The Room is Huge and Amazing! The Hot Breakfast was Awesome! I must go back ASAP. I slept like a Baby very, very Comfortable! Has a Mini Kitchen, Free washer n Dryer, Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi! Shopping Center right in front.

It's a little bit like a no frills 3/4 star hotel. We expected the room to be bigger because it was a suite and we found the pool to be much smaller than what it appeared to online. Our room didn't work and our bathtub was covered with the previous guest's hair (yes it was really gross). We called the front desk and told them about the phone not working and the hairy tub. The person who took our call said someone was going to come clean the tub. We waited 30 minutes and then out to dinner. On our way out we were assured that the cleaning staff was going to our room, I also requested vacuuming because there were crumbs all over the kitchen area floor. After we got back they vacuumed the floor but did not clean the tub or replace our phone. It was pretty disappointing. It was late and I just cleaned the tub myself. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you're sensitive about heavy cleaning purfume, which was ever present and inescapable. I've been in better and cleaner basic hotels and those were half the cost.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long time the staff was great we stayed there for a week they took care of every single need we had one soldier was out of starch and the clerk actually went to the store and purchased it herself and brought it back to him I last day there the manager bought 38 people breakfast burritos because they knew we had to get on the road early the best ever I would recommend it and the beds are comfortable sheets and pillows are awesome. Not to mention happy hour open bar and the breakfast bar fresh eggs sausage waffles the best ever I think this place is even better than Hilton

Great facilities. A/C is a life saver. Wonderful staff and super clean rooms. Good hot breakfast. Very comfortable bed and great relaxing space in living room area.

I stayed for 8 nights here. Awesome staff here, Daniela, Sarahi and the rest have been super friendly the breakfast starts at 6am to 9:30am and is above par compared to other places I have stayed. They also offer lunch half the week. Rooms are clean and no smell of any cigarettes the gym and pool is also nice. I will be staying here again on my next trip.

Good stay but swimming pool had very HIGH lvls of chlorine.....my eyes & nose hurt for 3 days

The room was very spacious and we'll appointed. Tv was a bit on the smaller size. 32" I believe. Bed was super comfy and the staff was very welcoming. I didn't try any of the additional amenties or the food.

Good place. Free food and alcohol certain nights. And free breakfast.. The coffee in the room is terrible.. Free laundry with a few washers and dryers, witch is a very important thing!... Close by a lot of stores too.

This is a great hotel. The staff is very professional and courteous. There are lots of restaurants and retailers within walking distance. Good place for a weekend or extended stay with lots of perks and amenities. Be excellent to each other!

Not a totally bad experience but the first
Rooms AC was out and smelled bad. The replacement room wash much nicer but the elevator and hallways were not air conditioned. Not ok in south Texas no matter what time of year!

Place is nice,room is nice. The lady in the afternoon is nice. The guy gives off the impression that you bother him when asking him a question. I walked threw the social area and he was talking to a young girl. Looked flirtatious and in the conversation with the young girl
He was cussing saying f**k and b***h. Very unprofessional conduct for someone to walk into a room too.
Besides that male receptionist we had a lovely experience. Breakfast was nice in the selection given and the coffee was great. I would like to come back. I would be careful with the receptionist before I let my 3 years old walk into the room. Just by the experience of him and the young girl who was sitting next to him.

2nd time staying at the hotel. So far every experience has been good and smooth. Pretty standard hotel, a plus is the social hour with the salad bar and beer that is offered for free from 530 to 730. Would stay again.

Nice Hotel in good location. Good breakfast. Just steps away from shopping center, mall and restaurants.

Location is great, close to a big shopping complex. Has great access to shop, restaurants etc. The rooms are clean and alright. The breakfast was really good for hotel standards. However I found a dead roach in my room when I came back. The room was even serviced, but the roach was missed.

The hotel is in a great location and the beds are comfortable, and that is the only reason I am giving it two stars.

Breakfast did not have any source of protein, other than eggs, and those were cold. They did not have the correct amount of towels in the room for the number of guests that we had. We had to continuously call the front desk to get towels, and then wait for long periods of time for them to be delivered.

The smoke detector kept going off, and we had to call maintenance up three times, and they finally fixed the problem the third time. Staff was rude. The guy at the front desk was on the phone during check in, and continued to talk while I was standing there waiting to check in. He finally acknowledged me, had me sign a piece of paper, and then picked up the phone and started talking again.

I typically do not write negative reviews, but felt the service that was provided was so bad that a review needed to be written. This hotel will not be getting my business again.

It was a quiet, sophisticated and safe place to stay. The manager on night duty was very helpful. The room was very cozy and well kept. They provided quite a few facilities unlike other big brands.
Loved the experience.

The place we clean and quiet. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. Will come again next time in town.

This is the best place we've ever stayed and when we go anywhere if there's a Staybridge that's where we'll be staying!! The price was excellent, they have a pool, hot tub, basketball court, very nice bbq area and a full hot and cold breakfast buffet!! The staff was extremely nice and very helpful...best place to stay by far!!

Great hotel, clean, all the amenities, good service

I have stayed in this hotel twice, basically because the convenient location. The rooms are ok, the bedding is nice and the pillows are very comfortable. Both times I have stayed in a studio like where you have the bed, the sofa bed and the kitchen in a common area.

Amenities are nice, and water pressure and water temperature are good.

I appreciate the all day long coffee in the lobby, free breakfast and sort of a happy hour. Plenty of parking space.

No issues whatsoever with our stay here. We were right next to elevator and our room was still quiet and peaceful. The pool area is very nice and well maintained. The breakfast was great, my wife loved the waffle maker.

Everyone's so nice here. Started before and loved it so we stayed again.

Love staying here. Only gripe is that it's hidden from view which could be a bad or good thing. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very comfortable.

The room was clean and roomy.

The bed was a little stiff, but I'm used to a really soft bed.

The hotel was in a safe area with plenty of restaurants/etc. around.

We stayed here and drove to the island not a bad idea if you get to the island and leave the island at the right times - otherwise you will be stuck in traffic hell.

Let us check in early and 12 o clock check out. If you need to shop for something just in case your forgot something, you're in the center of a shopping center. Our room was nice as it was a suite. They have a sense of humor in the lobby area. Ask about Chuck Norris.

We like this hotel, we stayed in it every time that we visit family in Brownsville, from seven years now. It has all the commodities of a little apartment, very convenient when traveling with young children, the rooms are very comfortable but the bathrooms are dated. The hotel has a little convenient store for midnight snacks. All the employees are super nice and servicing. The hotel serves continental breakfast and it's located at walking distance from shops and restaurants.
