This Homewood Suites is in a great part of town, the staff was amazing, the food was great and the room was clean and lived up to Hilton standards. Overall, the experience was outstanding and I would definitely come back!!!!

The room was nice. Full kitchen. Good location and a few nice food options nearby. The breakfast was good and the eating area was clean. The workout room was small. Overall a nice place to stay with a family.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. The rooms were clean and very nice. The workers were pleasant to deal with. The lunch and evening social meals prevented were good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Homewood Suites really impressed me at this location. The front desk staff were quick with check in and out. Daily they offered complimentary breakfast and a social hour with food a drinks in the evening. If you're traveling for work and too tired to go out to eat this is extremely convenient. Their outdoor patio was nice for getting some sun while working. During my stay they provided a generous welcome bag with a bottle of water and some other goodies. It was nice touch. The room was clean and spacious. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm ever in town!

The place has been remodeled. For a Homewood Suites I was very pleasantly surprised by the condition of this place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I have been at this hotel many times In the past several years. I haven't been there recently until this week. They have completely remodeled the hotel and I must say it looks great. I had the breakfast and the eggs were delicious I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel

We used to like staying here but it has changed over the years. One problem I have is there are only about 4 handicap parking spaces (on one side of the hotel) for the entire parking lot so when those few fill up (and it does on game weekends) my handicapped wife has to walk long distances to and from the room. Front desk folks are generally friendly and helpful but constantly turning over.

First room had a leak in the AC unit and my brother and mother got sick from the mold, they comped us though and upgraded the room. Still sucks that my brother missed the wedding because of it

Clean rooms and very helpful staff, had an issue with a leaking a.c. unit on carpet but was quickly given a new room upon notification.

So far I have yet to find anything negative to complain about in this place. The breakfast at 7 is amazing and the room is fantastic I recommend this to anyone who has the opportunity to visit this place.

Great breakfast, evening reception with dinner and drinks, large rooms. The fitness center had two treadmills, one elliptical and zero weights.

Comfortable, clean, pleasant staff. The included breakfast and evening reception (which amounts to a light meal with beer and wine) set the Homewood Suites apart from the pack.

Nice looking room and property. Staff was less than enthusiastic. A downpour prevented me from leaving, due to street flooding on Corporate

I experienced a few issues that aren't up to the standards I typically expect from a Hilton-family property. Most of the issues were related to the kitchen.

1) Food was left in the microwave from the previous guests (gross!) and the kitchen sink had not been cleaned.

2) There was no dishwashing liquid for the few dishes we did want to wash by hand (both before and after use, since it was clear that the kitchen had not been cleaned well). I was told by the front desk that DAWN is not routinely left in the rooms. Guests must ask for it. And they happened to be out of it during our stay.

3) We stayed in a 2BR-2BA suite, and the tiny little coffee pot is just not adequate for a room where you would typically expect multiple guests to be staying.

4) The ice maker in the refrigerator did not work. We checked to make sure it was turned ON. Upon relaying that information to the front desk attendant, she retrieved a pre-packed zip-loc bag of ice for me. This made me think that there may be more rooms with malfunctioning ice makers. There are no commercial-grade ice makers in the hallways here - the type often found in hotels - because each room is supposed to have refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker.

5) Toilet in the 2nd bathroom "ran" all the time. Very noisy at night, even with the A/C on.

On a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom towels were big and fluffy (seemed brand-new). The front desk attendant was helpful and receptive to my comments regarding the above issues. The breakfast spread is very nice and the breakfast attendant even filled my travel mug with first-brewed HOT coffee before she set it out on the buffet.

We visit BR a few times a year, and I would not oppose staying here again. The value for the money is decent. These few issues should be easy to address and hopefully will get some attention. Hilton standards should be higher than what we experienced.

Great hotel and friendly staff but the made us put down 20 present or so for incrementals. That might be rather common but I wasn't used to it.

Fantastic everything. I have spent one month here and plan on spending another month. A friendlier more accomodating staff doesn't exist. Mrs.Creola in the kitchen made the holiday season feel alot warmer with the way she cares for her guests like family. The rooms are super clean, complimentary food is great, and the free beer is cold. The location is perfect to evade the worst ofnthe traffic and also be near by to many nice restaurants, gyms, and shopping.

Having a Kitchen is a plus but there were grease splatters on the items that stay on the counter top. Quiet for the most part inside the building. But you can hear everything that goes on outside and it's a pretty busy area. Nice people. I Like that it has the 4 cup coffee pot over the Keurig style ones. The gym is small and does not have weights, so that stinks unless you're into cardio only. Living area and bed separate - nice. If you need Internet, don't even bother booking here. It's pretty much non-existent unless you plan on using your own through personal cellular company. Their WiFi just does not work at all, even with supposed upgrade for Diamond members. I don't really believe those make a difference anyway.
My 2 star rating is based on 3 being an average stay, 4 being better than average and 5 being excellent. The 2 star rating I gave is simply because wifi, weights, and clean countertops and noise are non-negotiables for me. It was a great place outide of those though so if those items aren't important to you then try it out.

This place is great. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very roomy. There is an evening social every night. It's in a great location and close to everything. I highly recommend this place? The only downside is the WiFi is slow.

The experience at this hotel was amazing and totally awesome. Upon arrival it was very clean and spacious. It was also in a great location. The staff was superb especially Alyshia McAllister who made our stay such a wonderful experience. She was extremely nice with a great personality. She was also very knowledgeable about activities in the area. We definitely will be back!!

Such a nice place to stay for a long trip, they have almost all goodies that you have at home.

I was pretty anxious about a week-long business trip as I had to take my newborn and my mother who is our caretaker. This hotel put all my fears to rest. It is clean, conveniently located to many good restaurants and shopping in Baton Rouge, and the staff (both front desk and housekeeping) is extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us out by giving us a corner room on the top floor when we booked, so the baby's occasional crying wouldn't bother any of the other guests. (Kayla at the front desk is a sweetheart!) Breakfast and the M-Th dinners downstairs helped the budget and added a convenience I hadn't anticipated. The suite was spacious and clean, the area wasn't noisy despite being located off the interstate, and we had a very comfortable stay. The hotel staff further worked with us to do a late check out, so the baby and my mom didn't have to be subjected to the discomfort of waiting in the lobby for a few hours for me to finish at work. While the interior decor of the hallways was a tad dated, it was clean. The laundry facilities on the second floor came in very handy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my business associates.

The room is clean but carpet, bath tub and toilet are worn and stained. A/C is old and noisy. The building is old.
