The Homewood Suites in Birmingham is set in a very attractive area of Hoover. The facility offers free breakfast and some finger food in the evenings as part of the booking. Both options alone make the booking at this location a worthwhile booking. The suites themselves are well designed and spacious in their main bedroom area. Sofa sleepers are equipped in each room providing additional sleeping options. The kitchenette includes a full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and sink. I've not found noise to be an issue other than the remote-controlled fan makes some odd noises during the night after being on for some time. The beds are a little firm with 3 different pillow options. Try out all three and you will find a good one. I complain about that frequently dealing with other hotels. No issue here. Alarm clock is fully featured with an aux input. Directv is the TV provider and each bedroom and the picture quality is actually quite good. Wifi is sufficient. Overall I enjoyed my stay and plan on doing it again if back in the area.

Quiet, easy to get to. Breakfast was substantial. Room was actually cold when arrived, didn't have to touch the thermostat. Only stayed one night, but would have been comfortable for a while.

Bernard at the front desk is simply AMAZING. BUT.... The hotel itself is a little run down to be a Hilton. Our shower was not overly clean...the elevator floor was FILTHY as was the carpeting in the hallways. I expect better of Hilton... I would probably not stay here again

The common areas of this hotel seem very nice. Breakfast and dinner are served. I did not stay overnight in a room, but I would definitely give it a try. Seems like a good place to stay for a long trip.

Great hotel nearby many offices and right off the highway in riverchase. Staff are super polite. Times are clean. Love the shower. Stayed here a few times. Will definitely return

I ABSOLUTELY loved our stay. Fabulous service from the staff and suites are absolutely perfect for families. Suites with full kitchen and you can use the grill outside. One of the best I've stayed at so far.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very nice, the evening reception was well stocked with good food and free beer. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. No indoor pool though. Full hot breakfast from 7am to 10am. Only setback was that the halls were a maze and if you leave your room it takes a cool 7 minutes to get to the parking lot.

The location was in a very nice area that was quiet and easy to get to. The rooms were spacious with a cook top, microwave, and a full size fridge. The complimentary breakfast was great as well.

My parents are staying at Homewood Suites while their house is having work done. The area is nice. Pet friendly.

Was really overcrowded when I visited in July 2017. Swimming pool was closed and green and sludge filled. Pretty gross. Wet towels were in my closet and housekeeping wasn't the best. Filled out a survey and shared pretty supposed to hit comments with management while I was there but no attempt to apologize or fix the experience was offered. Will not stay here again even though it is just two miles away from a work location I visit frequently

This hotel was very clean and the customer service was outstanding. Our room was very large and comfortable for the four of us. We had a suite with a separate bedroom and a full kitchen. We didn't stay for breakfast the next morning but it looked delicious.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were fairly clean. However, the beds were extremely comfortable. Nice accommodations including the free hot breakfast.

Comfortable quiet hotel great for a short or extended stay. Staff is professional and very helpful. Located just outside Birmingham. The free breakfast is delicious. The bed & pillows are plush. The suites are perfect for traveling with family.

We had reserved a room on the 6th floor and when we got there they moved us do to a problem with the room. They gave us an upgrade and the rooms was extremely nice and very quiet. It is pretty close to I65 and there is shopping near by. We will stay there again.

Great hotel. Great breakfast. This is roughly half way to central FL from central IL. Waaaay better route than going through Georgia.

Nice, clean hotel. They had a mixup where they weren't able to give us a suite like we wanted so they offered us an extra room which worked out perfectly. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are fairly spacious for an extended stay hotel. The hotel has a fitness room with a couple treadmills and weights. The outdoor recreation area includes a pool with a pool house, a putt putt green, a basketball court and some outdoor sitting areas. The complimentary breakfast is very nice. There is a nightly hospitality reception Monday thru Thursday that includes drinks and a light meal. The hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend staying here.

The young woman at the front desk was very friendly upon check in! Recommended Ragtime Cafe for dinner which was an excellent choice. Our room was exceptional! Beautifully decorated, separate large shower room and ceiling fan above the bed. Breakfast buffet had just about anything you could want. Lots to offer for a great price!

Wow. Such a great crisp clean hotel. I would go out of my way to stay here rather than the more expensive hotels closer in by just a couple miles. Loved the remote control ceiling fan above the comfortable bed. Highly recommend.
