Would come again. Nice rooms, quiet location. Take a room on the second level though, we had a very stompy person staying above us (we were 1st floor) and this was really annoying, almost worrisome at nights. With second floor rooms, you avoid this. Staff is super friendly, breakfast and social gathering food is way above average. Staff is really caring. So, bottom line, a nice Homewood suites hotel.

Great hotel the rooms were big and clean. It is in a great location with a lot of things to do near the hotel. The only complaint is that the pool room was so hot. To just sit in the room to watch your kids I was sweating.

Homewood Suites was a great place to stay. A beautiful environment and a great staff. The room was nice, I stayed in an executive suite that was spacious and clean. It had a full kitchen, only thing missing was an oven. My only complaint is the breakfast. The eggs were watery, and the corned beef was underwhelming. Also they did not have a wide variety of hot breakfast. Other than that my wife and I had a great time during our stay.

Much better than I expected. Clean, welcoming, great food morning and dinner. Movie night. Big rooms, nice indoor pool. Would love to visit again.

Beautiful place, only complaint was the breakfast. For such a promising spread, everything was tasteless or a few things were expired. Best thing is this place is literally easy on/easy off from the highways

Customer service has changed a great difference which may put a damper on future visits for myself and family? Although it is a beautiful facility. I just prefer not to spend my funds somewhere I feel unwelcomed!

4 stars only because the fire alarm went off twice in 2 days on a holiday weekend. annoying only. Other than that our stay at this hotel was great. rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast staff went over and above any hotel I've ever stayed at to accommodate the needs of all patrons.

The staff here is incredible. Nightly socials are also a great meal. This is the best in I have ever stayed at.

I am staying at the Homewood Suites in Stratford, CN. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The room is nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast and dinner are pretty good. Overall I have enjoyed my stay.

Had to stay here for about 3 weeks and it was great. Very neat clean attentive staff. food was great and I would stay there again.

The suite was awesome. Very clean and comfortable. The stovetop was a great addition. Room service was efficient. We were there for our 1 year anniversary and we plan on making this our destination for all staycations.

Hotel has been great so far in my stay. Breakfast and afternoon social is definitely an improvement compared to other hotels I've stayed in. My only issue, the reason for the 4 instead of 5 star, is the lack of an oven and full stove. Other extended stay style hotels have this feature which is handy for cooking food for longer stays. Otherwise I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Best stay I have ever had. Always welcoming me home after a long day. Great place. I would recommend this place for a short stay or even a long stay. Staff was very helpful and kind.

Excellent. Very pleased with our visit. We arrived Christmas day and were greeted by Matthew who was very nice and accommodating. He informed us our family had been upgraded to a suite! Rooms were very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Pool was clean and perfect temperature. Complimentary breakfast. It was great!

The Homewood Suites has been a bit of a roller coaster, but at the end was a tremendous ride! There were some issues in booking our room at first, but the staff was very amenable, found a room for me at the rate I was promised over the phone, and they accommodated not only my wife and I, but our whole family for a wedding we had that weekend! They were nothing but helpful and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. If you ever wanted to feel like a human being during your hotel experience, the Homewood Suites nailed it.

Service was good. Had an issue with our air conditioning. They did what they could when they could. But.... We were there for my wedding. They left a bottle of champagne in our honeymoon suite. That's so sweet. Def would come back.

My family of four stayed here twice while traveling up from Virginia to Maine and back down to Virginia. Perfect layout with the two separate rooms and two bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Ordered Chinese food from a local restaurant which was very good too. Plenty of room. Breakfast both mornings were great. We'll definitely be coming back next Summer.

We had a 2 room suite and it was wonderful. Liked that the rooms were fully duplicated and if you need to stay for a longer stint with a number of people you don't have to share anything. Nice full breakfast also.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in this year. The staff from the front desk to the maids were very generous with their wanting to be of aid and assistance, no matter what the situation. The suite I had and it was a suite was fantastically furnished and offered all the comforts of being at home. The breakfast provided each morning, was quite a surprise, it was more the usual continental breakfast offered in some hotels. I will and have recommended this hotel to my friends and family. I thank the hotel staff for treating me like an honored guest.

Great helpful staff. Rooms are mostly as expected and totally fine. Little things pop up, like a missing remote for one TV (but there were two other TV's and they all use the same remote), 1 of 2 burners on the stove don't work, and one of the toilets werent working right (which the staff took care of asap). Also the gym is great, pool is great, but the "Game Room" you'll see on signs is just a ping pong table next to the laundry machines. No paddles, just a table. Location is good, It basically has its own traffic light, for easy-in easy-out. The meals: I loved the breakfast!

We love the large suites, free breakfast and the location (near highway). Rooms have apparently been remodeled recently -- they're very nice.

Nice quiet location with a friendly staff and clean big rooms. Great to have a large fridge and dishes. Makes it feel like a home away from home.

The people there are great. Everything was clean and neat. Just try to check in earlier so you don't get a room all the way at the end of the hotel

This hotel is located on top of a large hill, which is rather scenic and provides a nice overlook of parts of Milford across the river. The hotel itself has a modern design to it, with three floors of rooms. The room if the person I was visiting had a striking design, which was far from boring. The appliances and kitchen area was very usable, and the bedroom could be closed off if needed. Overall, the unit looked fresh!

Our stay was quite nice. The breakfast is very good with plentiful options, including a variety of hot options. The staff are very curteous. Our kids loved the indoor pool (which is kept at a very nice temperature)! We stayed in a one bedroom suite. We asked for a crib ahead of time for our little one as the hotel advertised as having them available with no charge. While it was only a pack and play, it was waiting in our room when we arrived. The downsides were that the water pressure we found to be quite low as well as the soundproofing needing help. The people above us sounded like they had elephant feet and were up a lot throughout the night. In addition any time the finished their toilet it was quite loud in our room. Lastly, there was counter space to eat automatically; however, no table as shown in some pictures. My recommendation would be to stay on the top (3rd) floor!

Excellent accommodations;friendly staff and the breakfast and evening social were great;no need to go out for dinner or breakfast elsewhere. These hotels are a great value for the money;always very clean and staff accommodating. I travel often and use Homewood Suites many times in my travel.

Very accommodating staff. So far I've been here about 6 weeks and they are fast to react to any issues (leaky faucet, special instructions to cleaning crew not to enter my room and let my cat out, etc.) Being here long term, the staff and I addressed eachother on a first name basis.

BONUS: I'm not sure that I should mention who, but one of the staff bought my cat a little gift bag of a leash and harness and cat treats. They love pets here :) That really felt amazing after loosing my condo in a fire. Its the extra step like this to make the best of a bad situation.

The food is better than expected. It's cafeteria style, but the hot breakfast 7 days and dinner during the week are way better than what you normally get from a hotel in this price range. Oh did I mention Thursday is movie night in the lounge where they have a projector and free popcorn in the lounge. There's also a bar if that's your thing.

I don't think it's mentioned on the website, but there's also a lounge with cable TV and a ping pong table in the laundry room.

We stayed at this beautiful facility while traveling to my son's college wrestling meet. It was an absolutely beautiful facility. I would definitely come back to visit the area again. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was wonderful.

Nice hotel with a homey feel to it. Prices are always reasonable and the rooms are OK. Cleanliness - 7-10. Staff is polite and very professional. Complimentary breakfast is always nice!

Small pool, decent gym for yoga and cardio, free breakfast and occasional all you can eat dinners, small store for snacks, rooms are clean, cozy, and room service and staff are friendly

We had a room rented for a party. Everyone had a great time. We were not disturbed, and the place looked very great

Not sure what is in the area, no time to explore, but the rooms were great very spacious, service and complimentary things are great and the gym was fantastic!

I was at the facility for a professional meeting with a community committee. The staff were cordial courteous and attentive to out needs to run an efficient meeting. They provided light refreshments soft drinks and wine. The staff checked in on the meeting several times to make sure that we had everything we needed. When we arrived for the meeting the room was fully prepared for us to set up and begin promptly. Overall it was an excellent experience with the facility and we would happily go back there again for another meeting.

The staff was so accomidating and kind. The breakfast was amazing as well. We were very impressed with our suite. I'd stay there again in a heart beat!

A nice Homewood Suites. If you have stayed in this Hilton extended stay property elsewhere, you know what to expect, a larger room, kitchen, and a bedroom and living room. This property is well managed, clean and located just south of New Haven in Stratford (directly across the street from teh Sikorsky factory). The breakfast area is small and during evening reception can be crowded, but a fine property.

One room suite is amazing. Hot and cold breakfast every morning. Wish they had a few more options for someone with the Celiac disease but there are a few things and it is better than some places I have been.

Seemed dated. Kids were running around screaming until 10pm or so, because a hockey team was staying there, or having an event there. Staff was extremely helpful, especially the woman who checked us in and refunded our second night (last minute change of plans) as well as the woman in the morning who acquired super glue to help fix my boyfriend's rental dress shoes (didn't work in the end, but we appreciated her going above and beyond to help!)
