My family visited Hershey and stayed here. The room was very neat and the bedroom could be closed off for privacy. It had a modern but small kitchenette. The lobby area was also open and spacious. There is also a well maintained pool and sitting area. The hotel offers free barbecues for families and included burgers, hot dogs and chicken. There is also free daily breakfast. (Seating can be an issue at times as people don't stop eating since it is free!). Only criticism is that a school group decided to use the front parking lot for their recreation late at night creating a potential hazard for incoming cars. Otherwise, I would stay here again without hesitation.

Solid hotel , great staff, convenient location. Strong water pressure pushed it to 5 star level; even made up for the awful green carpets. We did not have the complementary breakfast but this is another plus. Ample towels, comfortable beds; our 2 bedroom suite was huge!! Very satisfied.

I have to say this was the most pleasant experience staying at the Homewood Suites. I was very hesitant at staying here due to having a really bad experience in Virginia Homewood Suites. From the first moment that we arrived the staff was above and beyond helpful. The check in was quick and staff was nothing but courteous. Honestly it's rare that you see such concern and friendliness from the front desk. The hotel rooms were very spacious, the hotel premises were very clean and the pool was perfect for those hot summer days. The best thing the place had an outside BBq section, and that was awesome as we spend most of our times outdoor. Another thing the air conditioning system is insane here, our rooms would quickly get cold, and the lobby and hallways were beyond freezing. It was absolute pleasure to spend the time here and beautiful decor on the outdoors and indoors areas. Pool table is available for those rainy nights. So much to mention but those men and women that work in this hotel went above and beyond to provide us with towels, utensils,.and pretty much anything we needed to accommodate our stay. They deserve a raise or recognition and without proper service this positive review would have not happened.

I originally called to reserve a room to hold a baby shower and spoke with Jeremy. He suggested instead of renting a meeting room we might like using the breakfast area off the lobby. I went ahead and reserved it and when I arrived at the hotel couldn't have been more pleased. We got to use a more private area off to the side that was very nice. The staff (a woman working the front desk and the maintenance man) couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I would definitely hold another similar function there and recommend it highly. Both the lobby and breakfast area were clean and I would guess the guestrooms are as well.

My wife and I aim to get away, just the two of us several times a year. Being we have two children that are 4 and under we didn’t want to be too far away. After researching hotels we came across Homewood Suites last year so we stayed there. We were so impressed by their customer service, room set up and breakfast area and food that we stayed there again this year. Totally worth every penny. We look for more Homewood Suites through the country so we can enjoy them no matter where we are.

Excellent room. I stayed after the Army vs. Navy football game in Philadelphia. 2 beds, fold out couch, full kitchen with granite countertops. It was nicer than my home.

This place deserves a review! Well, Homewood Suites gets it right and does it well. I loved the breakfast spread, it was delicious, homely and clean. I loved the evening mini buffet, especially The Lebanese rolls and feta cheese. The rooms were HUGE and very well maintained. I loved how cozy the rooms were considering we were knee deep in snow. This place also had a pool table and I spent many an hour, 😁 playing pool. Finally the customer service was on point. Thank you Mike! You're a rock star!!

My husband and I used Homewood Suites as our hotel for our guests who attended our wedding last weekend and we were so pleased. We were mainly in contact with Emily, who was quick to respond and so helpful with our room block. Jeremy at the front desk showed us a room before we chose the hotel, and the rooms were clean, modern, and HUGE! Jeremy was also there the day I checked in and he was so nice and accommodating. All of the staff was kind, the breakfasts were delicious, and we would recommend this hotel to everyone!

ABSOLUTLEY LOVED THIS LOCATION!! The room was huge comfortably accommodated my husband, myself, and our two teenage children. Kitchen area is also huge. The hallways are long however, there are several of parking areas that will allow you to access your side of the hotel quickly but for those who prefer you can defiantly get your steps in! Lastly, the staff is super friendly and helpful! Thank you Landon, Katie and Jeremy for a wonderful stay!

This place is amazing! Clean, great food and amazimg customer service. Bill, the kitchen manager, is phenominal and so friendly and accommodating! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a great experience!!

The staff here are great! The free breakfast is good, and there is a pool, workout area, and pool table. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the furniture in the rooms is dated, even though the rooms are awesome and have a fridge, microwave and stove.

The entrance to our room was very convenient. The room and bathroom were very clean and ordered. Easy to access to front. However the internet was not working.

We travel a lot and have high standards, as well as used to the "usual" as far as hotels go. This place is far above and beyond that standard! The entrance lobby opens to a beautiful, spacious area that looks like a lodge somewhere out west. Tons of seating at counters and tables and even private televisions with your own remote, and this is in the lobby! The staff are amazingly friendly and there's a very large convenience area with lots of different types of drinks and snacks (plenty of Hershey's candy!). We went upstairs to the room and got off the elevator to find a very nice pool table in the common area of the floor, another nice surprise. The room was very spacious, clean, great kitchen, and a nice fireplace in the living area. Very pet-friendly place and environment, a great free breakfast spread with make your own waffles. This is definitely now our go-to lodging choice for the area. No affiliation other than as a happy customer.

I have stayed her many times and it is my go to hotel.in the area. It was renovated 2 years ago and has been kept in good condition? The breakfast are good and so are the dinners during the week.

The room that I stayed in, is so clean and well kept. Housekeeping was attentive and very professional. Everything felt tidy and comfortable. The front desk were very nice and accommodating. They greeted up with professionalism and we felt welcomed. The location is right next to a Walmart and is convenient to grab food if you're hungry!

Overall good hotel. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Located about 20 min from HP and the restaurant next door is great.

What an awesome Experience it was for wife and me on our 14th anniversary! Jeremy was a great asset to make the stay absolutely wonderful. Rooms are Large, very cozy and whirlpool was Great. Lots of snacks in room and breakfast was good. Going to hit the free workout room before checkout.

I will be staying at this hotel every time I am in the area. The rooms are large, modern and clean. The staff were extremely friendly during check in. Four or five nights a week they offer dinner and free beer for the guests, followed by fresh cookies at 8. Three of us booked rooms here for a business event. We were all blown away by this hotel.

Wonderful hotel for family vacation! The front desk service was excellent​. They were warm and vibrant, helpful, and very good with my children. The room was set up nicely with a separate bedroom. Full kitchen was handy. The only complaint is the air was stuffy and aggravated our allergies. The full size swimming pool was absolutely the highlight of our stay. The only complaint was the pull out sofa sleeper was uncomfortable. I would stay there again and recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very clean and nice. The staff is very very friendly and I've enjoyed my stay so far. The only thing I would say would be that I didn't receive any dish washing liquid in my room. I cook since I travel for a living and I don't mind going to the front and asking for it but multiple times the front told me it was supposed to be in my room already, which I've been there 2 weeks and still nothing. Other than this I've enjoyed my stay and the address I'm in.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would have given a 5 Star but upon leaving I questioned a charge on my bill & the representative told me I needed to read. I was very offended. I felt truly disrespected. What if I couldn't read...

Clean, modern, comfortable hotel. Close proximity to large mall. Staff is friendly. You are able to park close to one of the many entrances by your​ room so you don't have to carry your bags too far, although when we stayed (weekend) there was not much parking available by our door. Bed is comfortable. The are no nightlights so I would often stumble around if I had to use the restroom in the middle of the night. I would stay here again.

Lovely rooms feel very homey, the service is excellent and we feel very welcome. It really does give a home away from home feeling.

Very comfortable. Very clean. Staff is Pleasant. Stayed 4 nights but was only here to sleep because I was here on business. But did get to experience the breakfast. Better than some not as good as others but adequate for a quick bite. I did not get to do the dinners because I had to be to work before they started. Maybe next time! Highly recommend this place. Only complaint would have to be the people who have dogs. The Barking during the day while I was trying to sleep was annoying. And as I pulled out of my parking space one day I saw a dog laying on one of the beds. I don't think I would want to sleep in that bed after that dog. But that's my only negative comment.

This was a great stay!! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful - it made me feel like they were friends, even handing my kids candy before we left. It seems new - everything was clean and updated - it smelled clean and not full of chemical cleaners. I felt very comfortable bringing a 4 year old and 1 year old. It was a perfect set up for us. VERY quiet (we stayed on a Sunday night), but you could tell that the walls/ceilings were well insulated. Very much a spot for business travelers. We've traveled a quite a bit and I would definitely recommend this spot. I plan to find other Homewood Suites for our future travels.

Great hotel. The rooms had a small kitchen and living room section, great if some people want to go to bed early. The complementary breakfast and small dinner was great and unlimited beer for 2 hours mon-thur free was a great touch. If you are going to Hershey park, or staying in the area, I would highly recommend.

A fantastic extended stay hotel! The location is prime, only about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Harrisburg and 25 to 30 minutes from Carlisle. The staff is extremely helpful and has been good to me throughout my 2 month stay. There is daily breakfast every day and daily dinner from 5:30-7:30. Food can sometimes get repetitive, but then I am surprised by the quality and thought that went into a meal the next day. And take that with a grain of salt because I have been here 2 months. Free beer/wine during this time!! How can you argue with that? The rooms come outfitted with a mini kitchen, but make sure to bring Ziploc bags and anything you might need besides extremely basic utensils. Bring a cutting board if you cook a lot! Both the living room and bedroom have decent TV's. A good hotel with an amazing staff, I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Homewood Suites Harrisburg.

We came for Dickinson University graduation, as we did 2 years ago for the brother of this nice. The hotel has been totally revamped, I didn't recognize the inside. Simply a great choice. Excellent room, great breakfast. Couldn't ask for much more.

Like the other people that have posted on here, everything was amazing. I would although have to say that the "fully loaded kitchen" that the hotel advertises isn't very "fully loaded." My husband changed jobs and his company put us up in the hotel for two months while we looked for a place to buy. Living in a hotel with two very young children is difficult, but without a real kitchen it was really crazy. Yes, they serve breakfast every morning and dinner M-TH, but making the rest of the meals was hard. We had lots of sandwiches (ick) for lunches and lots of pre-made foods for the dinners not provided. The two biggest things that I wish were in this "fully loaded" kitchen are an oven (we couldn't even cook pizza!) and a blender (I desperately needed this since I make my own baby food). What they have in the kitchen would suffice for most people, I just wish they didn't advertise that it was "fully loaded," it kind of gives the wrong idea.
Some of the great plusses that I really enjoyed were a microwave bag of popcorn everyday. The meals that were served in the lobby. Cookies every night at 8:30. Maid service. The friendliness of everyone, staff and other guests, as well. The prompt attention to our needs. The tub drain would not hold water and the garbage disposal didn't work. When we told them about it the promptly got it fixed for us.
I really enjoyed my stay and would be happy to recommend them. I would say though that if we were having to pay the hefty bill for the two months I might not be as thrilled to stay here. But if you can afford it, go for it.
