Rooms were nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Room layout was good. Staff was friendly. Some things to be aware of, the indoor pool is not heated or it wasn't when we used it. There is no ice machines, you have to use the one in your freezer which works but takes some time.

I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff as well.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. Hot breakfast, awesome suites, comfortable beds, friendly and polite staff . Even special light dinner /snack items at night. Best hotel ever!!!! We were in Rochester for medical reasons and appointments and this made it so much easier! Thank you so much Homewood Suites! I will now try to book Homewood suites wherever we travel. You just do it right!!!!

We stayed at the Hilton and it was a very pleasant experience. It amazes me that thriq after originally booking a room around the corner that was unacceptable, this hotel was so much nicer for only a few dollars more.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation. The food at breakfast and dinner is not ready like it usually is. The selection is somewhat less. The wine and beer at dinner is in plastic cups instead of glassware. It is still a decent hotel and, if u dont want the hotel food, Cracker Barrel is right there.

Usually our go-to place, but undergoing some much needed refurbishment. Bit rough at the mo. The normally excellent breakfast was hardly worth waking up for. We will go again, but only after the renovations are completed.

Good breakfast and a friendly staff. However the rooms needed a serious update and we had random hairs in our bathtub surround. Also the pool is smaller than I expected for a Hilton at that price point. They are supposed to be beginning a refresh/renovate the week after we stayed.

I liked our business suite. Kitchen is nice with dishes and silverware but if you have rooms beyond 315, you have to walk a LONG way from the lobby/pool to your room. There's no elevators or ways back down to the lobby that's close to the end on the 3rd floor. You can't get in the hotel without a keycard and we arrived in the early AM and had to stand outside banging on the door because the desk rep wasn't there.

The breakfast was good and the pool is huge. Wal-Mart and restaurants are less than a 10 minute drive away. I tried to do my homework while I was there, late at night so I wouldn't be in the way and got a lot done. But after a few hours it said it would spontaneously shut down for "maintenance."

The rooms had an amazing kitchen. There was a pond beside the hotel so you had a very scenic view. The breakfast was very good as well.

Very satisfied with my stay... the suite was clean and well equipped... the pool was neat and clean... the parking lot was well kept and the grounds manicured. The staff was kind and helpful. We brought our dog with us... and he was well received and given treats at the front desk upon our arrival.
We were booked for 3 nights... but... unfortunately a medical issue arose with our dog... and we had to leave a day early. The facility managers were kind enough to adjust our bill, since we were leaving a day before our stay was to end.
We will definitely stay there again.

I picked this hotel because it has a full-sized refrigerator. I recently relocated to the area and didn't want to lose all of my perishables while apartment-hunting. I knew there was an included breakfast, I didn't realize during the week there was also included dinner! The staff is very friendly. The only con about the hotel is that it's pretty outdated. It looks like they'll be remodeling starting July 2018, so it should no longer be an issue in the future.

The location of this hotel is convenient and off a private drive, allowing tranquility and peace. The suite I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy. The hotel staff was very polite and kind. Everyone had a smile on their face and I was always greeted warmly upon coming in the hotel. 10/10 would stay here again.

Very nice room for the price. The staff is super friendly and were very helpful in resolving a problem I was having with my Hilton Honors account.

About what you'd expect for the price. Outdated appliances and decor with stale and tough food. The silverware and glasses in our room were also dirty -- crusty with bits of food stuck on the inside. Would not recommend

This hotel is very nice. It's located in a nice greater Rochester area with shopping and restaurants close by. The room was a spacious suite (as all the rooms are) and clean with a comfortable bed. A lot of times I have to mess with the heating/cooling unit because the temperature isn't quite right. I didn't have to do that here. Perfect temperature! The staff was great, especially Matt at the front desk. I have to say...that was the quickest and easiest check-in ever! Breakfast was great, with all the continental breakfast items and some hot dishes as well. I didn't take my family with me on this trip but...this is a great place to travel with the kids because they have an indoor pool. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Rochester area.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and ceiling fan in the bedroom! The location was very convenient to the airport and shopping, groceries, coffee, etc. I will stay here again the next time I'm in town on business. Four stars rather than five because I found the morning breakfast to be alright. Would have preferred if they had bananas, boiled eggs, and sliced cheese like other suite style chains. Overall, I will definitely stay here again.

Staff was extremely helpful. Gave us a corner room and since we didn't get in until 3am they were thoughtful enough to give us a 1pm check-out time. A++ service and comfy beds!!

Homewood Suites was great. The room was well-appointed and in good condition. The pool was good. The breakfast had many options. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying there again!

First off, the staff was utterly amazing! They went out of their way to help with every request. Our room was on the third floor, and even near the elevator it was quiet. The bed and the pull out couch we very comfortable. The standard king suite was fantastic for traveling with kids. Our daughter was in the outer room sleeping while we could watch TV.

Very clean room. Kitchen was very convenient. No automatic door at the front is kind of unusual. Easy parking and close to lots of food.

I loved this place so much! The people working there were kind and accomadating and the food they served was excellent! I will definitely be going back!

A bit dated but very clean, people are friendly and very helpful. Front desk was very nice and even followed up by calling to our room check if we got our crib. No complaints, I will come back to this hotel for sure.

The rooms are very large. We had a double with a pull out. My family of six were comfortable and even slept in and missed breakfast. We have a family of two adults parents, two older teens of adult size and two medium children.

Homewood Suites can be counted on to be homey. Nice breakfast, actual cooked eggs, not rubber facsimiles. The employees are exceptional and the rooms are super elegant.

Nice rooms. Pull-out bed is old and uncomfortable though :-( breakfast was good. Pool is small but water temperature was warm which is good. No towels in pool area. Asked the receptionist for towels and said they were in the dryer almost two hours went by and he never brought us towels. My poor kids were freezing by the time we got to our room.

Room was a standard room. I slept on the pull-out sofa bed, which was reasonably comfortable. Breakfast is buffet style. Location is convenient to RIT by car.

Great hotel we stayed at on our way to Vermont. Friendly staff and they let us have a late check in. Really large rooms with a kitchen and pull out bed. Nice breakfast in the morning before we hit the road. We were traveling for business and would def stay here again.

I called the hotel to ask about their pet policy since we have 3 dogs and many hotels that allow pets have a limit on the number of pets or they have a weight limit. When I asked the female receptionist if there was a limit on how many pets, there was a long pause before being rudely asked, " Well, how many are you talking about? Like 10?" Unbelievable. That was so disrespectful and unprofessional. I continued to be polite and told her we had 3 dogs. She told me that they do not have a limit just a $75 pet fee. Even the way she said, " Okay, thanks for calling" was in a snarly attitude way. Since this hotel has pretty good ratings and one of the only places that can accommodate our dogs, I sure hope our stay is better than the experience I had with the receptionist on the phone.

I stopped by to drop something off for a friend. Only saw the lobby and main reception desk. Everything was clean, warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and greeted us upon entry, and wished us well when we left. Though my visit was brief I was impressed by what I experienced.

I stayed in this hotel for five nights with two small children. The rooms are very nice -- actually a comfortable two-room suite. Complimentary breakfast throughout the week, and a nice, simple dinner weekdays. All in all an excellent choice for a family.

A group of us gathered for a casual, social remembrance for a friend who passed. We used the extended area near the lobby. The mix of tables with chairs and comfortable couches have a great place for us to share memories with friends. The kitchen area worked well for the over abundance of God that was brought.

This is the second time I have stayed at Homewood Suites. My room was always clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. Great work areas in the lobby as well as in the room. This is a great place to stay.

The food sucked. Not all free food should be consumed. The water tasted like crap and I only drank water because the orange juice was crap too. The waffles where decent when you held your nose. Very flavorless and low on quality I'm not a food critic but, I give the food a 2. When a certain item runs out that is decent enough to eat they don't replenish it. Now on to The room. It's really nice but, when I went to go microwave my soup that I bought from the closet Walmart.... There was no plate to set my bowl on? I have no idea why.. I even checked the dishwasher and it was nowhere to be found. On top of this mess our rooms fire alarm system went off not because their was a fire but because the batteries needed to be changed... Which should be checked regularly right? Other then that it was a nice experience. Very beautiful hotel. The pool was really nice I got to enjoy taking a break and swim for a little.

They had a delay in getting my room ready due to a late guest checkout. They took an extra hour after the 3pm check-in time for the room to be cleaned and ready. To make up for this, they left about $30 in cookies, water and candy for my family in the room, and gave me some bonus Hhonors points to apologize. The management and staff really care about guest satisfaction!! I'm very thankful.

No complaints. Stayed here multiple times on week or longer business trips. The living room and kitchenettes make hotel living more comfortable. The re was a stove, full fridge, microwave, dishwasher , sink, and coffee maker in the room, all worked fine. I didn't use the laundry or breakfast amenities. On my ground floor room, in winter, there was a pretty cold draft under the utility closet door that made the bedroom floor cold, but the heater kept it warm regardless. Location is very convenient to a mall, 24 hr grocery store, Target, and many restaurant options, plus its right off the highway.

is it pet friendly?

I can't say enough about the staff. They were wonderful. Extremely nice, helpful, and all around pleasant. I can't say the same for the hotel itself. It's old, and it shows. The rooms look like they haven't been touched in years. The hotel wifi is abysmal. You couldn't possibly get anything done for work or pleasure. I'm told it's because the hotel is full, but that's not an excuse. It should be able to withstand a full stay. I don't think I would stay again, based solely on the Internet.

I stayed there with my three kids to enjoy a short overnight getaway and give my husband a much-needed break. We had free dinner (available on weekdays), free breakfast, and had the pool all to ourselves. When my 6-year-old couldn't reach the items on the breakfast buffet a service worker came right over to help him. I was able to put my kids to bed in the bedroom, close the door, and enjoy watching a movie in the living room without worry that the sound of the TV would awaken them. I could easily spend $130 on breakfast, dinner, and entertainment for the kids so the stay at the hotel was worth every penny. Definitely coming back in the winter when we're all stir crazy!!!!

This hotel is extremely comfortable! It is located close to the highway for easy access to the city of Rochester, and there is a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby as well. I always find it to be much more space than I need, but I definitely enjoy the suite-style setup. Stay here if you can!
