Excellent hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The hotel is a half mile from Colonial Williamsburg and a short walking distance from multiple restaurants. The hotel is clean and very well maintained.

Nice hotel, new and modern feel. Spacious rooms. Free breakfast is really convenient to start the day before heading out to the parks, or surrounding area.

My wife and I stayed here 21JUN18 so we could be close to the Jamestown settlement. We stayed in a 2 bed suite that was very nice. Had all the amenities one could want ...damn near a full kitchen set up! Booked through Travelocity on a last minute whim ended up reducing price near $100. Clean, comfy beds..couldn’t ask for much more. Would stay again for sure!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It's perfect for a family and a grandma and auntie along with us. The breakfast is good, different each day. There were pancakes and sausages one day, biscuits and gravy on another. Coffee is always good and always available at the lower lobby.

On the day of check out, one of our vehicles won't start,and we couldn't jump it. They allowed us a late checkout, and looked at our vehicle and helped it start. They didn't know what that meant to us, it got my son to his swim championships. We will definitely stay here again.

I always feel like this place is a home away from home. David, Amir and the rest of the staff treat guests like returning friends. The hotel is clean and rooms are nice. BBQ grill in the back near the pool with full kitchen in every room.

Pretty good location for the price. The only thing missing is an EV charging so which does not exist. Front desk are great btw. Good attitude and always responsive

My family and I chose Homewood Suites for our Colonial Williamsburg lodging. We stayed on the third floor, just overlooking the front desk, and it was a very nice, clean, and well-kept room. One thing that went into our decision to choose this hotel was the small kitchen that is included in the room, as we prefer to prepare 1-2 meals per day while traveling to cut costs. This was one of the more disappointing facets of the room, unfortunately. There was barely enough room to cook on the small stove; the clearance between the range top and the overhead vent fan was hardly enough space to maneuver the cooking utensils. Additionally, they only supply one, very dull, knife, and a tiny (think: a 5x7 picture sized) red Betty Crocker cutting board. I was able to sharpen the knife a bit on an abrasive surface that I located, and I am pretty handy in the kitchen, so I made due, but that's the thing - it was definitely 'making due' rather than enjoying myself. Another factor that influenced my decision was the uncomfortable beds. Homewood Suites have some variance, but they are usually a higher 'tier' of hotel in the Hilton brand line than Hampton, their 'budget' hotels. However, much about this stay really made me feel like this was a rebranded Hampton Inn. The decor, the breakfast selection, and especially the ~beds~. I am one who firmly believes that the quality of the hotel is reflected in their bed and bathroom quality. This had the standard Hampton mattress in it. I've stayed at my share of Hamptons as a Guest, and I can recognize that semi-firm spring loaded achy experience anywhere. Overall, it was a good hotel, it just had a few quirks that left it with some room to grow.

Service was friendly, room was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was both well-prepared and well-stocked. Some parts of the hotel need updating - our refrigerator made so much noise that we could barely hear the television, cabinet doors hung catty corner, and the door to our two room suite was sticky enough you had to force it to open. One of the greater disappointments was being told on check-in that hotel policy would not permit the desk clerk to give us two keys. When you've got four adults in a two-bedroom suite, there's no reason you should have to travel as a unit. If I need to come here again, I'll make sure that this inconveniencing policy is no longer in effect first. However, that policy eliminated, this could probably be a hotel of choice for this size party for me.

While it may have an occasional hiccup, it is actually a very nice okay to stay. It turns out that if there is any type of issue, the front desk and management take your stay very seriously and really do a good job following up on things. One of the best features about the hotel is that they have some really good air conditioning, so if you like a cool room, this is a fantastic place. Still can't say I like the redecorated lobby, but it really is a great place to stay. Clean spacious rooms, a nice little kitchen area too.

Comfortable, clean, beautiful, spacious rooms. Breakfast was wonderful. Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, hash browns, bagels, English muffins, muffins, waffles, pancakes, belgian waffle maker, real orange juice. You real can't ask more of a free breakfast. The indoor pool was very clean and the perfect temperature. 3-5 feet deep. I will definitely be staying here again and I highly recommend it.

Simply put, the service was amazing! Everyone was so nice and helpful and the room was really great. I've stayed there twice and both times, I've loved how comfortable the beds are, even the one that folds out from the couch in our little living room space.

Clean, accessible. Literally 4 - 6 min drive to colonial Williamsburg. The bathrooms had fans!

Location close to William and Mary campus and other local attractions. Quiet room, comfortable bed, clean and large bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Unless you stay at a hotel connected t but it'so colonial Williamsburg you can't get much closer than the Homewood suites. It's super convenient for visiting the historic sights, but it's also close to the strip of outlets and restaurants without being in the middle of them. The front desk lady was particularly helpful and we appreciated the warmth of the food services manager. The rooms are as you would expect, well laid out suites with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchenette. The ambiance of the hotel is all that lacks. With its modern gray scheme, it doesn't have the warm hominess I've experienced at other Homewood suites. All in all, this is an excellent choice for staying in Williamsburg and visiting the historic triangle.

On December 22nd my family and I checked in Homewood Suites in Williamsburg Virginia for our Christmas holidays for 4 nights. My family wanted to do something different this Christmas, so we decided that we were going to go to Christmas Town and enjoy all the wonderful sights that Williamsburg had to offer. The hotel accommodations was so nice it felt like a home away from home. From the front desk clerks to the housekeeper they treated us like royalty. The hotel was spacious enough for us to put a Christmas tree and all our Christmas decorations in the room and it felt so homie and comfortable. If I could give Homewood Suites 10 stars I would. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this place. I hope whoever comes to Homewood Suites can enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks staff for a job well done. PS the chocolate chip cookies was a great touch and they taste good also.

Awesome hotel! I would definitely stay here again. It’s clean, the rooms look great and the lobby is beautiful. Though the breakfast wasn’t too great. The eggs weren’t too well cooked. But if you like a good waffle instead. I’d go for that.

The room was okay. The front desk agent, Ashley, was very informative. This was our first time traveling to Williamsburg and she gave us a the information we needed to enjoy our vacation.

We stayed here over the weekend for a lacrosse tournament. We loved the fact that we had a sweet and there was a separate television for three different people. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator so if you come stocked with food you don't have to go out for dinner. The Suites were very close to the lacrosse fields at the War Hill Sports complex. Staff was very nice and the hotel was clean and convenient.

Really great hotel for an extended stay. The full size kitchen and independent bedrooms give you a little bit of privacy when you are with your family. The hotel is quite , the parking is easily accessible to the doors which are all locked by hotel guest keycard. The price was great too!

Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Homewood Suites Hilton in Williamsburg. Nicely designed suites, nice swimming pool, good location. Only reservation is noise of A/C external unit at night. At the reception desk, we dealt mainly with Anya, who was invariably courteous, helpful and efficient.

This hotel was great! It was just me and my two young children and after 1500 miles of driving over a few days this was a blessing. Nancy greeted us at the front and went the extra mile to make me and my kids feel at home. She remembered my kids names and would talk to them as we we enter or exit. My boy is shy and he warmed right up to her. The rooms were great and with the bedroom separated from the living room I was able to get some relaxing alone time.

They had an evening social that I didn't get to take part in, but it looked great (next time I need to bring the wife along ;).

All-in-all I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nicely decorated and has a great flow. The staff is very friendly. The stay includes hot breakfast and complementary drinks and appetizers during a happy hour.

Our room...upon entering our room we were greeted by a foul odor coming from the bathroom. It was quite repalsive and simply not acceptable ( the odor never went away...it made
using the bathroom a nightmare). After, 'examining' our room we found questionable black hair on the white comforter of one of the beds,
the same hair was found on the nightstand, vanity stand and bathroom floor....gross.

Next, the water in the bathroom had so much chlorine that it made our eyes burn, dry our skin and made my hair feel like a straw.

The happy hour brought a crowd to the bar area, which was great. Getting to know people from all around was fun. However, some people at the bar appeared to be there as friends of the bartender....overly drinking and using a rather inappropriate language...making us feel uncomfortable.

Room was newly renovated and clean, however some minor things I noticed: toilet was not solidly fixed to floor, towel hook loose, and tub faucet amazingly crooked - all of those issues no doubt due to "lowest bidder" construction crew. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. Breakfast was very good.

Very nice hotel. very clean room. We complained about heat In room and within an hour there maintenance guy was bringing in a new AC Unit. Hats off to him... The old one was working OT in the heat and was not working to cool the room...my only complaint was room was hot but got cool over night. as for Breakfast it was ok spread. Floor was sticky and cutlery could have been cleaner... but overall nice...oh and kids enjoyed the pool. I would stay here again

The hotel was clean and nice. I would have given 3 stars as there was not a book giving me details about the hotel, amenities, places to eat, etc and the breakfast (which is free) had some hiccups but...the staff were amazing and impressive! The the front desk clerk was very busy but very nice and helpful. Same for the two staff covering breakfast. I would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good, as always. However... we did have an issue with the air conditioner in our room so we had to move rooms a couple of times. Also, the tub handle came right off in one of the bathrooms.

Beautiful, modern hotel conveniently located close to Williamsburg attractions. The guest service was very good and genuine. The rooms are beautiful, modern and spacious (with mini-kitchens!). There are A LOT of choices in places to stay in the area. Come here.

The beds are good and the pillow selection is very good if you want to use Wi-Fi then avoid this place, it is absolutely horrible. The signal constantly drops, the signal strength is extremely low which causes the web sites to time out constantly. The staff was friendly, the clorine smell in the oil area was at toxic levels.

Great location, very close to downtown Williamsburg. Restaurants and shopping also close by. Indoor pool, daily breakfast (hot and cold). Premium WiFi available that's actually worth the price. Room was clean, full efficiency kitchen, and beds comfy. Overall a great experience so far.

The rooms felt like a step above from the hotels I usually stay at. They were clean and well maintained, and didn't have that typical hotel smell. Cleaning service had forgotten to restock the towels, but were apologetic and very kind when asked to bring said towels to the room. Breakfast service was about as good as it gets at a hotel, food was always available, and when it ran out, was refilled or replaced within a couple minutes. They did run out of some items due to a large group of college students having eaten breakfast at the hotel, but these students were also guests. All in all, my experience at this particular Homewood Suites was fairly good, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in this area, however I haven't stayed at the other hotels nearby so I cant give and accurate comparison or claim that one is better than another.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Kids enjoyed the pool, and it was nice to get up and have breakfast ready in the morning. The biggest issue has to do with the recent renovation. It seems like the rooms are not 100% completed. A couple of the doors are misaligned and didn't shut properly When we checked in, the bathroom floors were dirty, maybe from tile grout. We ordered a pizza and when we brought it back to eat it some of the plates and cups in the cabinet were dirty.

I'm a traveler who finds most hotels to be a nightmare of allergies, despite any surface level of cleanliness apparent. I tend to wake up the next morning struggling to breathe and experiencing an asthma attack, which generally sours me on the hotel experience. Homewood Suites has beautiful and spacious rooms, friendly staff, and most importantly, actually cleaned and maintained rooms. No allergy problems here, and that's made my stay wonderful.

Stayed for two weeks and everything was perfect! Comfy bed, comfy couch, good sized room, laundry on site, pool, free breakfast (nothing special, just the usual free hotel breakfast but the man overseeing the breakfast was friendly and helpful). Lost a star because the front door is not automatic so it's hard to get your luggage through (also not ADA compliant??!) That should really be the next upgrade!

I reserved this hotel for the 3 grandkids and my daughter and her husband. The people were absolutely fabulous and really cater to families . I will definitely be reserving this place for our family again

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, and the maids always had the room very clean when they came in the morning. The free breakfast was great in the morning, and had a decent variety of options to eat. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Williamsburg area.

Just took my family to Williamsburg for a few days and we stayed here. Was very impressed from the start.. the manager Nola took excellent care of us when we arrived late and night and went out of her way to make sure we had enough sheets for our kids on the pull out bed, extra towels, and we forgot shampoo so she made sure we had enough for all five of us. In short we were made to feel welcome and we appreciate the effort made to get us settled in the middle of the night like she did. In addition the people who make the food actually care and take pride in how they serve their customers. We received excellent service and would certainly come back here again and recommend this place to any family looking for a reasonably priced hotel with staff that makes the experience welcoming and enjoyable.
