We stayed 7 nights, very good hotel and great service. Every employee is very friendly. One thing that disappointed me is that when I got home, I found out I forgot my heels from our hotelroom. We called the hotel and asked if they were found, but nothing was found while I’m sure they must be there. From such a good hotel with great service I expect lost property will be found and kept so they can sent it to your home address.

I’d like to start by saying the location of this hotel is fantastic and so are the staff. However, the 4 star rating really comes into question when I saw the state of my room. The carpet was very dirty and overall the rooms are due for a remodel. We booked this hotel through Expedia where the very first picture is of a gorgeous beach. Much to our surprise the beach lounge chairs that are heavily advertised come at an insane cost of 80 euros per person per day. With no amenities such as pool I feel very disappointed with the price point.

Spent 9 nights at the Gray D’albion and it was a very memorable stay.

The hotel’s location is superb opposite to the film festival and just 5 minutes from the beach.

The rooms are large and very well appointed. Might only complain that in July I wish for a lighter Duvet or stronger AC.

The staff are absolutely amazing. From the concierge to the restaurant workers everybody is so eager to serve. When I can with a request or concern the employees seemed happy that I presented them with opportunity it’s to be of service and this is the true core of the “hospitality” sector.

The beach was very nice but beware that it entails an additional charge of around 60-85 euros per Sun bed daily. A bit too much and I believe there should be a reduced rate for hotel guests.

Overall I would be very very happy returning to this hotel as it is simply a 5 star package under a 4 star title.
