I really enjoyed my stay there. What I found amazing was that the Hods like the resident manager etc were very helpful and friendly.

Good place to visit for staying with friends and family. Excellent environment. It’s just a beautiful property and the staff looked after us so well.

The beach is stand out. You may not get the sunsets of the west but a beautiful sandy expanse. Well spaced loungers, amazing soft sand. If you are having a lazy holiday on the beach then this is the sort of beach you imagine.
The ice creams were great, the service really top notch with drinks and snacks being offered constantly. I loved the environmental message of reusable cups and no straws and touches like free water on the beach - really nice.

I was unsure about the buffet but actually loved it. Food was really high standard and varied. We also ate in the a la carte places included and they were great too. The beach dining was or fave spot - great food and amazing views!

Room was spacious and clean. Lots of space for bags etc as well as a big living area to sit and enjoy.

Had an awesome stay at lux Belle Mare .all the staff so friendly & caring..so much to do..but also nice place for relaxing... would love to go back...kids are fully taken care of by the professionals at kids club..no worries at all...

We spent couple of days here, had a great time with lux belle mare awesome food ,great stay, good service, we are soon heading for a next trip at the same place...

The best resort for family holidays. Kids club take care of young ones while enjoy your own time.

We visited Amari whilst staying at Lux Belle Mare resort. The evening was amazing. Staff are very attentive, service is great, food is wonderful. Would recommend. We had the x6 course taster menu- well worth it, all dishes were delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening! Mr & Mrs Butler

It was a very nice experience. We found this property is one of the best not only because of the location but also because by the behaviour,the way they treat us ,welcome us and last but not the least,the food was awesome over there and it was a memorable visit for us.
We really thankful to Jennifer, gopee and the Indian chef over their for the best indian food......

Great on all levels ; location, service, rooms, restaurants, and staff As at all LUX* resorts, truly a great experience. Beach Rouge is great for meals and/or drinks in the evening.

Great place, interesting design. Loads of privacy and good food. Good appetisers option and helpful staff. Variety of cooks making some of the best foods in the region. Also has great views, a very nice pool and a Rolls Royce eating option. Furthermore they brew their own beer and serve amazing coffee. Not to mention the world famous Beach Rouge bar which is out of this world

A wonderful location on a beautiful island. Excellent for the whole family. Top grade.

The hotel is just amazing. Every activity is possible (water skiing, wind surfing, yoga, cycling...). The restaurants are perfect, the staff is almost too nice.

Only negative point: the see level is too low to swim (like 1m deep).

A gorgeous place, perfect service, delicious food and even if you have 5 days of more or less rain it will be a relaxing evening stay you always remember. Go for LUX*

The best hotel is have ever stayed in. Fantastic Staff who went out of their way to please my daughter who has food allergies. Food fantastic . (Staff to many to mention and all of them smiling ) Will definitely be coming back. Shame i did not have my poweredbicycles their to explore the island . Keep It Up

Amazing resort with great staff. The beach is fantastic with long shallow water. Note that local salesmen circulate around the beach beds selling sarongs, cheap jewelry, and excursions, but they are kept in place by the hotel guard. Food is excellent, evening buffets are varied with different themes each night.

This place is paradise! The staff goes an extra mile to ensure comfort! I was sick one of the days, and got proper attention from The Welcome Desk. They followed up on my state of health for the next 2 days; now that's paying attention. The facility is just as impressive. My friend ( Adv. Khumbuzile Shazi) and I had FUN...

We visited here when we stayed at Lux Grande Gaube for the day. This place is next level. Absolutely fantastic. The food, drinks and scenery is beautiful.

Beautiful hotel, located on the east coast of Mauritius. It offers a wide selection of food for dinner with many great facilities and a gorgeous swimming pool.

Great hotel - the food, staff, location, facilities, and the golf course is all great. Recommend the helicopter shuttle from the 18th hole back to the airport.

A true 5 star experience. Spacious rooms, private beach, awesome buffet breakfast and dinner, polite staff and what not! They even have few free activities on beach.

The best in Mauritius. Nothing to complain.

Me and my husband travelled here in June for our 30th wedding anniversary, and can say this is the most beautiful, relaxing place we have ever been too. The staff are great, so genuinely friendly and never too busy to stop and chat. Rooms have been newly redecorated by Kelly Hoppen and are spotless. Plenty of hanging space for clothes and drawers etc, also loved the Nespresso coffee machines, as we have one at home. There are some lovely touches, like large, medium and small brushes for sandy toes, outside each block of rooms. The Mixe, which is the main restaurant for breakfast through to dinner is the best buffet we have encountered and we've been lucky to have experienced quite a few. The numerous chefs are spot on for flavour, variety and absolute perfection...
The lunches and evening meals in the Beach Rouge are beautifully cooked overlooking the beach. We also ate in the Chinese Duck Laundry, lovely food, however, we missed the 'Indian night' in Mixe, which was a shame, bearing in mind how good the food was there.. Cafe Lux, served the best coffee, as they grow and roast their own beans. The K-Bar also serves some tasty plates, the chicken wings and chicken cesaer salad are lovely, it's also a relaxing place for evening drinks. Some good singers/bands delivering some easy music in the evening there too. They have some good bar tenders, but there are some that stand out too, go that extra mile to provide excellent standard of attention.
This is an island that I've wanted to visit for about 35 years and I can state that it lived up to all mine and my husband expectations.
If you have the opportunity to go, then do try as it is indeed paradise.....

Very good rooms with sea view with all modern facilities that you would expect from a 5* property. Please contact the hotel beforehand and makesure you have a sea facing room, else you might end up with a farden/pool facing one.
Food might be expensive depending on which country you coming in from so chose package which includes all meals in the price.
Reservations might be needed in some of the restaurants.
