standard novotel. standard amenities. crew for check-in and checkout was very nice. got a good size bed which is a rarity in Switzerland. Mattress was not too hard. 7/10 vs Westin bed. it is conveniently located near motorway. Good for business.

Nice modern rooms compared to the rest of the hotels we stayed in, while in Europe. Breakfast was excellent.

Conviently located with ample free parking space. Free reasonable internet, decent size for rooms. Hotel itself looks old now and in need of refurbishment especially toilets.

Meh. Standard Novotel with some annoying features for a modern hotel such as the 4th floor ironing room rather than in room iron and the sign-in-every-3-minutes WiFi. To its credit the restaurant is very good and the location is peaceful if not chic. Be aware that although Novotel don’t mention it parking is 12CHF per 24 hours. Stay if you need to and it is fine.

Super hotel. Not to far from City of Lausanne. Super place to stay for a Long or short time. Great service. Have not tried the breakfest yet, but I would recomend to stay away from the so called fried chicken. It is not fried but cooked, and not even cooked. Here you get Great service and also free buss ticket for as Long as you stay.

I enjoyed my stay for the most part! I did not like the showers, however. The glass panel separating the shower from.the rest of the bathroom was much too small, and as a result water sprayed everywhere and my pants got soaked. The hotel was good overall though.

The rooms are very good, clean and well equipped. The restaurant on the other hand was a bit of a disappointment. Breakfast is good and varied but the quality of the food during dinner wasn't as expected.

I just checked in at this fine hotel. But I'm giving it only 2 stars because my check in experience was not pleasant. The receptionist did not crack a single smile for checking me in and two of my business partners. We thought we would be warmly welcomed because we are the guests of a major travel company in Europe. A smile does not cost anything, right? I'm sure all staff are trained to welcome guests with a smile after all, this is the first interaction and first impression a guest would experience.

That's one observation. The second one relates to the guarantee payment for our rooms. The receptionist asked to block CHF 600 for our stay, CHF 100 per night per guest. We informed the receptionist we do not have enough credit limits. This was the case because we are coming towards the end of our business trip. His repose was outrageous.

In essence, he said: No guarantee, no stay.

And when my partner told: "So, in this case, we should travel back to Bahrain?" He said: "I cannot do anything." He should have played in a better way. Perhaps, saying let me check with my boss on what could be done. No extra mile thinking and no diplomacy at all.

Then, he gave us the option of paying the guarantee in cash of CHF 100 per room per guest. And we gave him that. I'm not convinced with the guarantee payment amount. The value of the items in the mini bar is definitely does not amount to CHF100. Besides, I'm sure the hotel system shows we are the guests of a major travel company in Europe.

Our not so pleasant experienced was compounded because of the failure of the staff to inform us about the different amenities the hotel has. The only thing he informed us was the time and location of breakfast. He had all the time to tell us about all the amenities of the hotel as there was no rush on the reception area. In fact, he should have asked if we had any questions and if needed any information on the city.

I expected a more delighting check in process at this hotels chain. This experience left a soar taste in my mouth.

I'm an author of a customer service book and I classify my customer experiences into three categories: The Good, the Bad & the Ugly.

I will rate this experience as "bad" because of the reception experience. Other than that, I know Novotel has excellent rooms and amenities.

Nice hotel, a little bit far from the city centre, somehow the hotel offer free transport tickets to the centre which is quite nice. Buffett breakfast €24 per person I think is quite expensive.

I had troubles during checking in.
Otherwise very sophisticated hotel , lovely restaurant and bar with roamy parking space, and most importantly, the whole staff speak English fluently.

I stay regularly at the Novotel Bussigny and as usual my stay was very good.
Thanks to the staff for the friendly competence they put every day.

Friendly staff and functional, clean rooms. Breakfast experience was however a bit disappointing: On Sunday morning we wanted to have late breakfast. At 09h45 there was hardly anything available, even the bread was already depleted. This was quite surprising as the hotel charges CHF 25.- p.p. for breakfast (and CHF 15.- for two if breakfast is booked together with the room).

Amazing stay with all the amenities. Free transportation pass and easy access into Lausanne. A bit far if you want to go back and forth between the hotel and the city (25 minute bus ride), but other than that, a fantastic stay. My kids loved the pool and I loved the free parking. :)

Good room, nice venue, fantastic view at breakfast on the veranda. Altgough Late evening bar meals are rather poor and vastly overpriced. Would stay again though. Went for business so the enormous room rate was not really a factor.

If you've stayed at a Novotel before you know what you get here too. Large family rooms with kitchenette, excellent shower, horribly small separate toilet booth. What stood out at this one is that it offered dinner service in their restaurant which turned out to serve surprisingly good food, but also pretty expensive. We had their Novotel Burger which was quite a treat with a very special, and tasty "bread". Since the hotel is located in an industrial area your other option for dinner is to take the bus to the town center. Free bus tickets is handed out in the reception. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice - at a pretty steep price - but in Novotel style free for children aged 16 and under.

Perfectly adequate and functional. Quite a way out of town so car required. Rooms ok, nothing special. No toothbrush and minimal toiletries (shampoo and conditioner only)

I travelled to Novotel to take part at the cycling tour around the lake of Geneva. The staff was absolutely customer oriented. They organized so much for us, so we could leave early in the morning for our tour. We absolutely relaxed in their small spa that is located in the fintness area, including a perfect view. Highly recommended for couples, families and business trips!

Outside the city very quiet. Hotel is renovated and is looking good inside.

Went there on a business trip. The room is really nice but the restaurant is nothing special whether it's dinner or breakfast, it's definitely missing a creative touch to make the meal a nicer experience but overall okay.

Very nice hotel... interior of this hotel is boaring. Every novotel hotel room is same! It's not MacDonalds; that taste suppose to be same everywhere !

Rooms are modernized, Restaurant is new, but the Familyroom children Sofa is horrible

Nice hotel, but far from the city and lake. The room was clean, large and well appointed. The staff were very courteous and professional. Breakfast was wonderful. The gym was small and hot; I doubt that the air was functional.. The biggest drawback with this hotel is location. It really is very isolated geographically.

If you are really hungry do not try the restaurant, very overprized for a very Little volumen. The house salat was a joke.

We were the first in the restaurant and it took over 30 minutes to get served, and then 40 minutes to get our food. 70 minutes !!

Service is non-excisted. Alot of waiters but no attention.

We definitely realized that the birds in the garden looks tasty!

The hotel room has a good standard

It is modern, the services are very good, the breakfast ok.

I have a little problem (they said I have consumed from the minibar and I did'n also tried the same with another colleague).

The excellent points go for the mini-gym the super easy parking and the communication.
