Amazing secluded space. Unbelievable people and service. Just incredible. We stayed in a 6 room villa and there were issues of water leakage, run down buggies, super narrow drive way.

Service, Awesome. Food just okay.

Can someone tell me what the weather is like end of September - given the comments by some people about mosquitoes and sandflies etc. Is the beach clean and white??

The most fantastic place on the planet. Very welcoming and all staff are wonderful..

This is purely a landing space, and a short boat trip brings a dramatic arrival to a dock full of smiling staff to greet you and put your shoes in a little muslin bag. This is to signify the leaving behind outer world trappings. The island is large enough to be continually discovering places, and keep one interested and alert. There is a central hub of daily dining area, with many different types of cuisine. Plus an ice cream parlour and a chocolate ‘room’. All free!

wonderful and peaceful place for a great stay. food, especially at Benz, is outstanding tremendous! staff is multilingual and kind, gentle and positive minded! intend to come back there. chocolate and icecream for free 😊😊😊

I don't understand how some hotels can rate themselves as "Five" stars when in fact they are only short of looking like shacks on the inside. Then there are hotels like Kiri. Due to being in a nasty, dirty, hotel i felt as though my trip to Koh Kut was slightly ruined. There is nothing worse checking in to a hotel and it not being as described.
You feel robbed. And disheartened. I tried hard to keep on the bright side.. positive, to keep upbeat.

But. Then there was Soneva Kiri.
The amazing friendly and yet so helpful staff. Greeting you with a lovely warm welcoming. Staff who take pride in making you feel number one and have a great attention to detail.
My partner reserving the whole lake paradise cinema just so we could watch Gone girl. (Plus it's a book I'm currently reading 📖 ) it was such an uplift feeling. The whole experience was. 😍
Staff willing to go out it their way just to make sure you are satisfied. Watching the movie we got fresh homemade popcorn and cold drinks. (Lovely touch)! 💯

The following day we also ate in the tree pod. What a fabulous once in a lifetime dining experience. To say you ate in a tree pod, how amazing, overlooking Koh Kut beach while feeling like you are one with nature. 😂 The pod gives you that jungle feel. I loved it. 🌴
The communications of this hotel is outstanding as our zip line server was asking about our cinema date.
The food presented in the pod was quiet filling. You don't walk away with an empty stomach that's for sure. 🤤🍴As a chef who has worked in lots of luxury hotels, this experience was quiet impressive.
Everything was perfect.
Though i wasn't satisfied with the island Soneva resort turned that all around.
Thank you, it was a privilege and an unforgettable experience that will live with me forever.

What a fantastic resort to spend a relaxing time at. Very expensive, but fantastic service and accommodation is some of the best in the world. A very organic experience. But once in a lifetime, until I can make a lot more money...

This is a place where your soul can be released from the daily busy works. Every members here welcomes you with big smiles and your heart smiles too. Beautiful sea and sky are reachable here and the sea water is just the way it is in your dream. In conclusion, this is a must-visit place in your life. This is paradise.

Eco-centric high-end resort on the remote island of Koh Kood.

Very good overall but the Indian staff is sub-par. Surprised they are using cheap labor for a luxury resort - Koh Tao does this too with Burmese staff. At least the Burmese are hard workers and try to be accomodating. The Indian staff at Soneva Koh Kood are quiet, not eager to help, and unprofessional. Also, they tend to be seasonal workers, not full-time employees. The work ethic is not there and the training is sub-par. One staff member named "Jackie" (not sure if they use real or English names) was telling me last March, 2017 that he can bring his family and friends for free as a perk and "laugh at the money people are spending here" Overall, not worth the money or effort to visit here. Better options available.

If you want to find a Place you have never ever seen before this Hotel is the right choice for you. We have experienced our unforgettable Honeymoon there. Together with your shoes the amazing staff does its best to take away our everyday-life Problems from the very first moment of arrival. It feels like going back to childhood when you cycle around the amazingly green little Island, discovering rabbits and funny little running birds. The sea is cyristal clear and we found deep relaxing sleep on our marvellous villa's terrace. And the Food.....just phantastic. We still wonder how such a never ending variety of finest Food can be offered daily at this end of the world! Surrounded by super friendly, caring staff we have enjoyed every Moment of this Journey so much. It was an uncomparable Holiday, and if you think there is nothing that could make it better you discover the Open Air Cinema , where at night time you can watch a movie right under the stars. Just wonderful!

Very great resort with full of wonderful services. So private and classy. Private jet from Suvannabhum and private jet boat from the pier to an island. Organics life with full of green spaces and foods are so beautiful.

Pricey resort with a mixed experience.

Very fancy villa with great view and a large pool. However, the room layout emphasize more on style over functionalities, so the dressing area is completely separated from the bathroom, for example. Some of the equipment don't work properly such as the provided golf cart, in-room wi-fi, and bath-tub drain.

Ms. Friday, the butler, is very helpful, polite, and always just a phone call away. There's a chocolate room and huge ice-cream selection for guests to choose from. However, the dining experience is somewhat a let down by two factors. One being young and inexperienced waiters who seem too busy to collect emptied plates, or offer you drinks the moment you sit down at breakfast, which seems to be a standard for this level of hotels. Two being the sky-high food prices whose taste can be described as average at best. 6-700B per dish, over 1,000B for steak and meat, but taste and raw material quality seem below those price points. Either the hotel should adjust the price, or its food quality to match the other.

The spa and gym facilities are great, staffed with experienced therapists. There are activities for children to enjoy even if they can't go on excursions due to bad weather. The private airstrip is very simple and convenient.

I do hope the hotel can improve these shortcomings. It could be a great destination for this region if done right.

Wonderful experience, one of the best hotels ever visited in the country. Staffs are smiling all the time, we have our own handyman our own buggy and there is a heaven for kids there as well. A wonderful place. Perfecf for people of all ages

Im troy from sydney its a beautiful place and the staff are the best...five star..

Rooms: There are some privacy and layout issues (long walks to the bathroom in the rain?!) that hopefully will be resolved soon but otherwise the rooms were spacious and welcoming.

Service: The service was great, the personnel amazing. We did have some issues with the quality of the food one night but the management was quick to respond.

Location: Remote is the best word... the South Beach was a real high light for us.

Value: It's a unique property with a unique style... for the money you'd be hard pressed to find anything as cool.
