Better amenities than most places. Pleasant staff. Hallways can get loud. But otherwise a great stay.

The hotel was conveniently located for our purposes. But it was rather run down. The room was dimly lit at best. The latch lock for the door to the room was half hanging off its bracket. The sliding shower door was jammed so we had to open the other half to get in (which meant climbing over the toilet to do). When we took our kids down to the pool, it was cloudy and kind of gross looking. You couldnt see your feet. There were alot of hairballs floating so I used the skimmer hanging nearby to get them out. The hot tub was drained and there was a baby gate all the way around it to keep people out. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Only fried eggs, which I was surprised by, but kids wouldn't eat it. I had a poor nights sleep, but that was because my son shared my bed and he has 14 knees, so I can't knock the hotel for that one.

This place is in a great location for eating and activities. Great that the rooms are a good size. Staying was super friendly, even the others staying here, probably because the status was so nice. Tons come with full fridge, microwave (with complimentary popcorn), dishwasher, dishes, complementary wash and dry on prem... Just doesn't make sense to stay anywhere else.

Decent place to stay. I always have luck with Staybridge Suites. Clean rooms and breakfast are all it takes to make me pleased with a hotel.

I think this is a great place to stay for the weekend or a place to stay for a vacation. They have great food. Parking might be hard sometimes but overall it's a good place to stay. They have great staff.

Very nice accommodations. Only downfall is the couches are worn. Dips down in the middle. Other than that it's a very nice hotel.

We had a large suite, for a great price. The rooms and common areas were clean and updated. Staff were friendly and courteous. We have just switched our next stay from the Hampton to Staybridge for our next trip. Complimentary breakfast is as good as any IHG we've ever had. Also complimentary laundry room is clean an set up well.

Very nice place. Kitchen helps keep meal costs down and supermarket is nearby. Comfortable and clean and close to all the major attractions.

Had a great time with the family. Only problem I had is that the free breakfast in the morning only gave you one meat option and it was bacon and everyone does eat pork need to have a least one other option. Other than that great staff and accommodation.

a very nice place to stay if you want that ability to cook food and eat in. Located near of variety of eating places if you want to eat out or you can go to Kroger's which is a wonderful Supermarket to purchase food. Prices are great and on par with similar brand hotels and in a nice quiet area. You're also close to the highway and Patrick Henry Mall and other shopping areas.

The beds were comfortable. My room was just in the wrong spot. First floor, right next to the laundry room, and near the front desk. so the room felt stuffy from all of the steam, I opened the window a crack to freshen the air . The morning shift, the staff were young and kinda roudy so we could here them early in the morning while trying to sleep. Otherwise the room itself was small but comfortable for a weekend stay. Very close to food, gas, shops and the interstate.

I had a great stay, really glad I chose this hotel. My room was spotless and it even smelled very fresh. Breakfast was good, the standard continental items plus eggs and sausage. They even serve dinner M-W I think.

Suites are good; breakfast is okay. Mon - wed dinners are provided and crew seems efficient. Pretty typical staybridge. Outdoor grill pool and small gym that needs a bit more. Rate is on par with its surroundings.

Dog friendly. Indoor pool and exercise room. Large clean rooms with full kitchen including plates, glasses and silverware. Just need bring your own food. Friendly staff! Breakfast area is good, with a decent selection, but can get pretty crowded. Would definitely stay here again.

I bought a suite and it was lovely. Had a kitchen connected to it, with glasses and dishes. Stove if you like to cook and a refrigerator! Inside pool and hot tub, Breakfast was really good too!!!

There were crumbs on the bed and the room smelled strange. But after cleaning the bed and airing out the smell, everything else was great!

Very quiet and secluded, but close to restaurants and shopping. Clean, but small rooms, comfortable beds. Hot breakfast daily, very nice staff. Fantastic wifi. Indoor pool and whirlpool are small, but nice. Dogs on premises. Overall, very nice stay.

Excellent value. Free laundry, breakfast, and dinner 3 times a week. Friendly and helpful staff. Small 24 hour store by desk with most basic commodities. Even the basic rooms are roomy and well stocked with a range of utensils and appliances.

It was nice suite, but don't have bathtub. Everything was good I really recommend this suite.

Great value hotel. We had the two queen bed suite. It was complete with a full size fridge and a kitchenette. We brought our dog along and this place is very dog friendly. Also the breakfast was one of the best Continental breakfasts I've ever had. The cheese slice display was a little out of place, however, it sparked excellent breakfast conversation. The staff was very friendly!

They gave me the two bedroom suite which was nice and roomy. It was quite normal. Wish the gym had a nicer treadmill.

Awesome breakfast, eat until the last second with no complaints from the staff. Changed the batteries in the door lock very quickly. Staff was always polite, pool was kept very clean and hot tub was awesome.

Very clean hotel super shocked being pet friendly which is plus for us! Staff super friendly and good hot free breakfast every morning. Definitely will recommend especially if you have kids or pets. 4 stars bc wish parking was better and eating area...other then that good hotel if pcsing.

Very nice for the price. Room was clean and well kept. Friendly staff. Kitchenette is small but good. Have to make your own ice in freezer which is slow.

Nice hotel that is pet friendly. Contacted reservations via phone and got quoted room and price with pet but when arrived it was completely wrong. Ended up paying pet fee on top of quoted fee that initially was quoted to be included. Watch for that.

The place looks really nice. It's in a somewhat new area so Uber drivers get lost, but not for long. The lobby is comfortable and the staff is nice. They offer breakfast with coffee. The rooms are nice and comfortable for a decent price. Very close to Jefferson Lab!

The location is Kind of hidden. But the view from room 316 windows is sooooo beautiful. The room I stayed in had to separate bedrooms one room had two beds and the other had one. The pool and spa treatment was lovely. The breakfast bar had many taste treats.

Staff at the front desk were friendly the hotel is clean and in a great area. Near shopping centers movies and ice plex if you enjoy ice skating it's conveniently located near the interstate and not far from the mall

This is a great hotel. Serves free hot breakfast every day and serves dinner Monday through Wednesday for free. Pool, laundry, Gym... All for free. Very nice new hotel

When we opened the door to our first room we were instantly overwhelmed (to the point of choking) by the smell of poorly masked cigarette smoke. Called desk for a new room.

Second room was better, but only because the first was so bad. Identified the second smell as 3 day old spilled ramen noodles that wasn't bad at first but seemed to get worse every time we entered the room.

I have stayed in quite a few hotels and haven't seen TVs that small since the early 2000's. WiFi is decent.

If you are a side sleeper, plan on waking up with sore shoulders. The beds are hard as rocks and the bathrooms need maintenance.

On a positive note, they are pet friendly (for a fee), which is the main reason why we chose this place.

Everyone nice room was clean but their were roaches in our room open up cabinet to get a bowl for ice cream several roaches TV was out but fromt desk sent someone over within 30 minute and got it to work. his name was Justin very nice young man so was front lady who. maintained front desk would stay there again everyone was so very nice. didn't get her name night shift front desk lady was so accommodation she worked the weekend.night shift 10/14 and 15th thanks you so much

Very nice hotel and very clean rooms. The hotel is secured at night time. The hotel sits back off the main highway and is quiet but close to everything in Hampton. VA area.

The staff was very nice. There was some confusion about which rooms permitted pets. We had a suite and the fridge in our room didn't work. The free breakfast pretty good but the juice machine was broken and they didn't offer alternatives. But the room was spacious and clean. Overall not a bad stay.

The hotel is nice and clean. Up to date and the staff (front desk) are very friendly. The kitchen staff look like they are on work release and their appearance do not reflect the rest of the hotels staff. This is my second stay here and sadly I'm seeing the same mediocre kitchen staff. Overall the hotel is nice and I don't mind coming to stay.

Needed a place to stay the night with the family (5 people). Room was clean and suited my family fine. Breakfast was great!

Kitchenette is nice, supplied with everything needed to prepare a simple meal. TVs have default setting to turn on at the loudest volume and always channel 2 (gets to be annoying). Hot breakfast is what you would expect from a hotel, nothing special. Have stayed here for multiple lengthy work trips.

The smoke is horrible. They are transitioning to a smoke free hotel.

Decided to go for a weekend to enjoy a little relaxing in the pool and hot tub. The room was nice and the staff was attentive. However, when I arrived the hot tub was more like a lukewarm tub and the jets wouldn't worked. It was also pretty dirty, since the filtration system wasn't functioning either. Not to mention that more than half of the lights in the pool area didn't work. Notified the staff and the hot tub was functioning the next day, albeit with only 2 of the 5 jets working properly. And it still wasn't very warm.

The evening I arrived, I decided to do a little laundry and wash the clothes I'd been wearing. Used the front load washer and left it for nearly an hour. The cycle still wasn't complete and it wouldn't drain or spin. Ended up having to unplug it to get my clothes out and switch them to another washer.

The only other complaint I had was that the toilet in my room leaked and it would run about every 15 minutes to fill back up. The room itself was nice, but not nice enough to make up for all the shortcomings.

Very friendly staff from front desk to the ladies that clean the rooms. Always a smile and good morning/afternoon. Best mattress I have found. Excellent breakfast.
