Loved the green and wood oriented interior design in the midst of the city jungle. Staff were terrific and have nothing in particular to complain about (apart from low water pressure in the shower perhaps) men still it wasn't a spectacular stay worthy 5 starts. Probably due to the room being very small, even after upgrading at check-in. I saw a yoga mat in one of the closets but there was no way to use it due to the size of the room.

I was searching for a hotel that I and my best friend could stay after watching the Phantom of The Opera. I did about 2 weeks of research and 1 Hotel caught my eye due to their design and high focus on recyclable materials. The price point is pretty high and competes directly with your large names around the area.

We applied for early check-in and it was granted. The welcoming experience was top notch and their care for their clients was clear. They even upgraded our room view which we both highly appreciated.

Our heater did not work but was fixed immediately when reported.

One detail that you must know if you're staying here with someone. You better be close to that person as the shower is see-through and there is only a curtain and sliding door that separates the bathroom.

All the amenities were fantastic and in working order. The TV has Google Chrome cast which I use every day which was nice. The Bluetooth speaker sounds awesome.

The location is absolutely prime, food is every where, central park is a block away and it couldn't have worked out any better.

Overall, our experience was touch notch all the way till the check out process.

I most definitely will be staying here again.

Gorgeous, relaxing, and clean. My only gripe is I thought they were handing out free wine and ended up having to pay 40 dollars. I prefer more upfront prices.

I stayed at this hotel with my fiancée for Valentine’s Day to get away from our home and have a romantic weekend, and it was a very nice hotel. The concierge ordered roses on my behalf for our room, and staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was unique (more on that soon).

The reason for my three-star review is the walls were extremely thin, and we could hear other guests the entire time we were in our room including clearly hearing their conversations through the walls, etc. The hotel also had a very unique, eco-chic type look that is appealing but not luxurious.

If you’re looking for that and okay with it, book away but beware of the thin walls. But do not book this thinking it’s the typical 5-star luxury Manhattan hotel experience.

Great location. One block from Central Park, Fifth Ave one block the long way. Theatre district a short walk. Upper East and Upper West too.
Staff is really friendly and helpful. Room is typical NY ... Small. But cozy and bright.
Emphasis on recycled materials and minimizing waste footprint.
Hotel has a courtesy vehicle to take you on drives within 15 blocks. The fact that it's a Tesla model X is a nice bonus. 😀

Stayed here a couple of years ago now but we absolutely loved this hotel with all of the greenery and wood finishings. The staff were probably the most friendly we have encountered to date! Housekeeping (Jessie!) even left us little notes on the chalkboard each day which we looked forward to reading! Location was just perfect too.

Amazing hotel, for several reasons.
• It’s clean water initiative and conservation encouragement makes me feel i’m getting my money’s worth because it’s a great and simple way to make a change.

• The interior design gave me 100% nature and minimal vibes to feel relaxed.

• The lighting system was freaking cool — all I can say about that, lol.

Have been curious to try 1 Hotel Central Park for a while and finally booked it for a quick overnight in NYC. Traveling solo on business, the small but well appointed room was perfect. The service at check-in and at the bar were great. They also let me check in early and delivered turndown service, which I really appreciate. Overall a terrific experience--I'll definitely stay with them again.

This place is amazing. I love that they have hardwood floors keeps the room clean unlike a dirty carpet. Hotel is very clean beds are really comfortable. Only thing that it is missing is a fridge. Employees are super nice and friendly, complimentary pears, apples, and oranges. It was even raining one day and they gave away free umbrellas. They even have a complementary driver for up to 15 blocks (the car he is driving is a tesla) just felt like a had to put that in. But I totally recommended this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is amazing. Its a few blocks from central park. Stopped on for drinks. The decor was beautiful. Cozy, moss greens and Decorative wood accents gives it a very comfortable feel, reminiscent of Central Park. I was so impressed, we are planing to reserve a suit the next time we stay in town.

Excellent hotel, very clean and inviting. The staff is great, they made our stay here very enjoyable. The hotel is green, literally, there are plants all over the hotel, not just on the building, but in the rooms also. The wood architecture is very nice and creates a nice overall relaxing environment. The location is excellent right at the lower end of Central Park and most rooms have great views of the park. Easy access to the subway, easy to get uptown, downtown or to Brooklyn or the Bronx. Enjoyed my stay here, would definitely recommend it anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Midtown Manhattan.

Incredible menu, progressive and chic decor, combined with disconnected staff accounts for the 4 star. They need to expand the bar, could stand alone and the bartenders are akilled but need some support with the crowd . Got a booth and loved the vibe, could meet and grab a drink, eat a solid meal at the hotel, hook up over a drink, or introduce my father to my boyfriend (actual) over a drink. Very versatile

A-MA-ZING! OUTSTANDING!
Our favorite hotel in NYC. 2 steps from Central Park and commodities.
Rooms with park view are stunning with their lovely cosy niche sofa by the large window and the glass shower - can see the park from everywhere in the room (curtains available).

This hotel is ideally located close to Central Park, and just a short walk to MOMA, the theater district, and the Madison Avenue bus up Museum Mile. The staff are accommodating, attentive, courteous, and most welcoming. This was my third stay. The hotel is green-conscious. Rooms could benefit from a tad more storage space, especially for a stay of more than three days for two people. The Park King rooms offer a nice partial view of Central Park and a window alcove. The bathroom and shower are roomy, with good water pressure. Jams, the hotel restaurant, serves very good breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It can be a bit noisy at dinner. The Jams staff is also professional and welcoming. We look forward to our next visit.

This is an upscale, hip hotel just a block from Central Park. The rooms are beautiful, and our "city view" window gave us plenty to look at (including a little of the park off to our side). The staff was friendly and accommodating. Take a ride in their complimentary Tesla car service if you have somewhere to go in midtown!

If Peter Pan grew up, moved to NYC and opened a hotel it would be this place. Staffed by gracious and casually elegant employees, it almost feels too cool for its own good until you realize it’s all genuine and you feel right at home in this sleek but homey treehouse planted in midtown. The bar at the corner is home to at least one phenomenal bartender who I had the pleasure of meeting and being served by. His cocktails are out of this world and I’m not usually a mixed drink girl. Just tell him what you like and trust him. The rooms are cozy which isn’t just a nice way to say small. My room was a nook perched in the corner with every amenity I could want and a shower that make me want to stay forever.

One of my favourite boutique hotels - the decor alone is worth going for! The rooms are wonderful - trendy, clean, and very livable if you need a home base for your stay. One's attention to detail is always impressive. This is a great location in the city, close to the park and away from the Time's Square mess. I think they are also pet friendly??

This is the smaller and busier location of the 3 One Hotel's. If you're looking for more leg space and breathing room, next to a quieter park - check out their Brooklyn location. The views from their rooftop are next level!

This hotel hands down was absolutely amazing! My family and I visited for Thanksgiving week, and from the minute we checked in until the minute we checked out - our experience was nothing short of perfect. The entire staff was very helpful and very kind. We had connecting king and queen rooms, which were very clean and well kept. If you are visiting NYC, we highly recommend this cute and friendly hotel. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed here on Valentine's Day. Room was very nice, and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming. Hotel is 1 block from the park with much to do in area. Will definitely return to this location.
Spectacular views, excellent choices for the in-room complimentary products, even a reminder that County New York water is among the cleanest in the nation and therefore safe from the tap. Unfailingly-friendly staff and an awesome location 5 minutes walk or less from Central Park South.

Just stopped in to try and find a spot to feed my baby while out in the city. The hotel is beautifully decorated with lots of couches in multiple lounge areas, to congregate.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

I highly recommend! When I booked our "City King" I let the desk know we were in town to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary- I hate asking special favors but had never been to NYC and was afraid we'd get a room with a view of a brick wall or window unit, and I really wanted a decent view. They gave us a spectacular view, a corner room with views of the park and the city! The rooms and hotel are just as beautiful as they look on the website. Every staff member we encountered was kind and helpful. Really the only thing that could've made the stay any better was just a ceiling fan to circulate the air better, but I won't let that stop me from staying here again. Thank you so much, 1 Hotel, for a fabulous stay!

Refreshing to see such a focus on being green and maintaining a high quality product. Only complaint is the lack of setup to use the steamer properly since there are no irons - cardboard hangers so nothing to be able to clamp clothing. Great staff and food as well.

Just checked out after 3 nights. Having spent time in a great many of the hotels near the park, we had a tremendous time at 1 Hotel Central Park. Looking forward to our next visit to New York, and staying at this beautiful place. Joe & Gia, Marylanders

Very loud. The concept of using recycled stuff is a great idea, but there is no insulation and the sounds travel. The whole idea of having a toilet area without a door is very strange. It's in a great location. The staff is great. Just my thoughts.

Super trendy and has an eco friendly feel. It's expensive but has a great location. Right by central park and in midtown. Close shopping nearby and lots of restaurants. They have one restaurant on site. I've never been but it's always busy so I assume it's good.

Rooms - small but efficient, cozy and clean.
Service - friendly and quick
Price - expensive
Location - perfect for work and vacationing

Totally worth staying if you don't mind spending the money.

This hotel is truly a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are rather large for a NYC hotel and they are very comfortable. They feel more like a cozy apartment instead of a hotel room, making you feel right at home. The staff is absolutely wonderful! Everyone I interacted with was extremely pleasant and always helpful. Now let's get to the food. The restaurant downstairs is excellent and the room service is great as well. The pastries are made fresh and make a perfect breakfast, their green juices aren't bad either. They have Nexus devices in each room that you can place orders on, request maintenance, and control the lights and TV. If all of that wasn't good enough, they are also super dog friendly. I have two larger dogs and they graciously accommodated them both. Our pups certainly enjoyed the stay as well, especially the daily walks in Central Park. All in all it is the perfect place to stay in NYC, particularly if you have furry friends.

“This is the real deal”
I have been here twice now on business and will go nowhere else because of the 1Hotel difference. It is streets ahead of any rival in the precinct. Their attention is impeccably focussed on the detail. It has a boutique feel but is quite substantial. The ethos behind this hotel group is also compelling.

Beautiful hotel. Not a huge lobby, so it does. It give a warm welcoming vibe. You walk into a restaurant almost immediately. But the hotel is very pretty with exposed brick and Ivy. Great, perfect and excellent service. This has been the most pleasant stay I've ever experienced. Everyone was very lovely and helpful and I found few things lacking in the service. Care for the Tesla service and the Nexus 5 room remote. Only major issue was that the room stayed very cold for the first few days despite all attempts to work the heater, but the whole thing was resolute after the filter was cleaned. I highly recommend staying here.

I had dinner on a Wednesday night at Jams, the hotel's restaurant. The bar was packed with happy hour midtown workers, all men in blue shirts & grey pants. It seemed an unlikely spot for an after work drink, & my companion & I wondered if it was maybe an office event for a local company. Most tables in the front seemed empty the length of our meal, dispite us being told no reservations were available past 6:15.

I had the scallops, which were tasty but nothing special. My friend's fish was the same. More noteworthy was our waiter, whose enthusiasm level seemed better matched for someplace trendier, where you'd drink more than you would eat.

I was a bit disappointed overall, but not surprised. Overall it was good, but not worth a return visit & I likely wouldn't recommend it if asked.

I've stayed at One Hotel Central Park numerous times and it's become a huge favorite with me. An Eco-conscious green hotel, it's been thoughtfully designed with beautiful materials - it even smells good. I'd absolutely ask for a room on a high floor with sliver park views. The only caveat I'd add is that in some of the rooms the bathroom is not very private - plate glass walls - very pretty, but leaves little to the imagination;). This hotel is also centrally located but away from Times Square - a good thing. By foot one is just minutes from Carnegie Hall, Central Park, Columbus Circle and the East and West sides, not to mention some of the best restaurants in the city.
