Well I am a little disappointed with this hotel. We stayed in the junior suite and it was far from it, it did not even have a coffee machine in the room and the bathroom was very basic with a poor shower / not power. I would recommend only staying in the basic rooms as it’s good value for money then. The spa was very crowded and I did not get to go in this facility.

The pros it’s very close to the metro station which is 6 stops away from the centre and also close to the airport which is fantastic. The hotel breakfast is amazing and has so much to offer.

Unfortunately, I had a room on third floor and didn't get the fantastic view from my room. On the top floor, I could see Sweden. The service was good, the gym was OK and the standard was OK+. It's not really close to the airport nor the city center, but if you are attending a conference at Bella Center, the location is of course great.

Great hotel about 20-minute commute from the city centre, located a walking distance away from Bella Center train stop. The hotel is gorgeously designed and rooms are minimal, clean, come with a lovely open view of a nature reserve nearby and service is great. The food at SKAI bar was excellent too. It felt like coming home each day :) Bicycle rental for 130DKK a day, if i recall correctly.

Excellent hotel! Stayed here during International Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses in July 2019. The staff was amazing despite the hotel being filled to capacity with attendees of the Convention. The breakfast buffet was amazing and well worth the expense. Something new everyday and a wide variety of options. Rooms were immaculately clean, very moden and minimalist, cozy. Will stay again if visiting area.

My room was very small, but decent if all you need are the essentials and don't mind some weird inconveniences. For example, all power outlets were on the floor and far from any table surfaces. The tea kettle had a very short cord, requiring me to use it on the floor.

The small space was not helped by the fact that the way slanted inwards, leaving only the ~6m² space at the foot of the bed suitable for doing anything while standing.

The bed was very comfortable though. I would have given 4 stars if I didn't find out that my colleague, paying the same rate, had a room large enough for nightstands and useful power outlets.

Superb hotel in Copenhagen, 10 minutes drive from airport. There bis a wonderful cocktail bar on the 23rd floor with views across the capital city's landscape. The restaurants on site are sublime, highly recommended. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows showing off the views. This is certainly one of the premier hotels in the city.

Getting to the hotel:
We arrived at the airport. There is a hotel shuttle bus every half an hour which costs 15 Kroner (this gets charged to your room). Alternatively the Metro is available but you would have to change lines.

Check in/Check out:
I found check in easy and friendly. Luckily we arrived when there were not many others arriving, otherwise it can become really busy and you see people waiting a long time. There seems to quite often be large groups of people (20+) coming in on coaches which really slows things down and blocks up the lobby. Check out suffers the same issue.

Room:
The room is a nice size with fantastic views (city view room). Equipped with air conditioning to counter the lack of opening windows it is really comfortable to be in day or night. The bed is huge and really comfortable. The bathroom is also a great standard. Downside would be storage space, we lived out of our suitcases for a week.

Breakfast:
I have to say this is so much better than I could have imagined. Considering the amount of people in the hotel, they still manage to put on a fantastic spread of food to suit everyone. It can get very busy, but if you come before 9 it's not too bad.

Restaurants:
The food is good quality and like most of Copenhagen is quite expensive. You will be lucky to get into these though as they're always full up fast. Suggest booking if you want to eat in the hotel.

Guest services:
The staff are really friendly and helpful. They can make great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.

Access to city:
Located just a 3 minute walk from the Metro, access to the city is so simple. The Metro is cheap, fast and efficient. Rarely is it overcrowded. There are also buses running from the same area or plenty of taxis if that's your preferred method.

Overall impression of the hotel:
Seems to be more orientated to business use and short stays. But all in all it provides a great base for anyone.

Modern hotel with a strange architecture.
Rooms very small with not opening windows
Surcharge for city view is not worth the money
Air-conditioned is noiseless.
Breakfast offers large buffet.
It can be very crowded so it can look like a cantine.
In that breakfast room, furniture is not mint (tissue from chairs is destroyed)
Check-in staff very poorly friendly.
Line for checkout can be long specially when buses tour arrive.

Very close to the airport, but a truly beautiful hotel. Felt like I was in a Star Trek movie set.
There's a train station behind the hotel and a Golf course in front of the hotel.
Took me 30mins to walk to the nearest Supermarket from the back of the hotel. There's a new Supermarket and housing project coming up at the back of the hotel.
There is a transport that goes from this hotel to the airport, to another building location near the mall closest to this hotel.
You have to check the timing with the driver, the hotel concierge informed me there isn't any available, but I came back 1hr later and the driver was just there. It was easier to hop on and off via this transport.
There are also bicycles available for hire through the hotel, but they get taken up real fast.

AC Hotel Bella Sky is exactly what you are paying for. In comparison to other Copenhagen hotels meant for Danes(who dont prefer air conditioning, understood by their certain climate), this hotel is fit for American taste. This hotel carries the same amount of finesse and extravagance that a Marriott is known for. This hotel has an exquisite view of the Baltic Sea and displays the surrounding area of Copenhagen beautifully. From the wonderful lobby to the breathtaking rooms, AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky is one of the best hotels in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Beautiful hotel but isolated from the city centre. May take you around 30-45 minutes travel depending on traffic to city centre via taxi. I was lucky enough to get a great view where at the furthest distance, I am actually looking at Sweden(of course I was told so). Service was great, pricey but comfortableamd decent sized room. Great breakfast and easy access to Metro Station where you can use it to access other parts of Copenhagen. Friendly and professional receptionist and hotel staffs.Be sure to ask for Tower 2 viewing outside the hotel else you might end up looking into another person's room.

7

Nice contemporary hotel with great views of the sea and Copenhagen city from the top floors. Smallish but modern rooms with comfortable beds and all the amenities including hair dryer, self-ironing, tea/coffee maker and mini bar. The breakfast was quite good. The entrance is a bit drab and there can be a lot of tourist crowd since this is a stopover for guests of cruise liners. Good for a decent business stay in the ørestad area.

Very nice modern hotel in Copenhagen. When we arrived there was an issue with our credit card but staff dealt with this in a professional way. The rooms are not big but they have a minimalistic feel and have everything that you will need. We had an amazing view from the windows in our room. The windows don't open but there's airconditioning in the room to keep it cool. There's also a gym, a spa and restaurants. You can also have breakfast here but we didn't opt for that as we found it quite expensive. Might as well go to the city centre and have a nice breakfast there. Public transportation is nearby, with a metro station and bus stop within walking distance. If you have a car you can use the parking lot in front of the hotel. Would recommend staying here.

Stunning contemporary styled hotel. We stayed here for 3 days when our flight home was cancelled. The staff were brilliant and really helpful. Our room was quite small but it was very comfortable with fantastic views over the city. Breakfast included a large selection of hot and cold foods, fruits etc. The bar on the top floor is worth a visit if only to enjoy the panoramic views.

Nice hotel, with good soft beds and good Air Conditioning. I like to have my rooms at 19 degrees as I do at home.

There are bus stops right outside, as well as taxis, and the Metro is a 400m walk. They offer an airport shuttle for a small fee.

9

Really nice hotel and the staff is very very very friendly!!!
Is a modern Scandi style, from its striking silhouette (two tilting glass and aluminium towers, linked by a sky bridge)
You can take the train and you will be in the center of the city in 14 minutes.
The gym works 24h and you can find all inside, the spa is next to it too.
The breakfast is really good too, as well the lobby bar.
The rooms are nice but the bathroom is a bit little and you have no place to put your stuff.
Anyway the hotel is amazing and the staff much more

Overall rating 4.4 out of 5. Breath-breaking contemporary design, beautiful outside and inside; 5-minute walk to subway (above ground), 3 subway stations to downtown; free shuttle to airport but it takes half an hour to go to several hotels to pick up guests; Marriott quality service. South Tower has a better greenery view than the North Tower. Room is relatively small, and it is pricey as it is Category 7 of Marriott. Morning buffet is elegant but not cheap. Copenhagen has the top bicycle roads in the world, clean, wide, and safe, absolutely good for bike riders! From Toronto, Canada.

Great hotel, beautiful and good service. The hotel restaurant is quite exceptional and great service. Recommend for the stunning architecture of the building. Rooms were small but nice and a good use of space. Quiet area but can walk to some quite nice places in the surrounding area. Quick busride into the city proper which makes it a nice choice to balance a modern Scandinavian take on a classy hotel.

Comfortable room, reasonable breakfast. Helpful reception staff. Gym isn’t the best and depending on where your room is you will end up doing more exercise trying to find it. There is a metro stop (Bella Sky Center) about 5 mins walk from the hotel. I used the Metro to get from the airport, which involved one change but was easy enough. Getting the train into town that way was also quick and easy.

This hotel is lovely, service and staff was great. It boasts a restaurant bar, gym and lovely thing. Indisputably grand architecture, lovely water fountains on the ground floor and it’s quite close to a station and a bus stop but I must mention albeit still a little bit in the middle of nowhere as it’s well away from Copenhagen town centre.

People there are really helpful and nice. The only things I can complain about is the bed and the air conditioning.
That’s why I give it a 3. The bed is too important in a Hotel to be that bad. I stayed 3 days and my back was really painful. Of course I’m talking about my tastes, it’s really really soft.
Adding to that that the air conditioner was not working it was bloody hot which made my nights worsts.
Overall I had a nice time in the spa area and their breakfast is very good !

9

Great hotel, awesome location for the conference centre (given that it is the conference centre) metro links are good too and only a 10 minute taxi ride from the centre of Copenhagen.

Didn't get to try the restaurant but heard good things from others as they are trying to achieve a Michelin star.

Rooms were nice, new, and well equipped although some had glass walls to the bathroom so beware if you're sharing a room with someone...

Had a nice dinner at Basalt. We had the set 5 course menu and the wine menu. The Entre and the fish were really good. The main course was a bit so so, the chicken was kinda dry and there wasn't a lot of taste. The desert had a really good ice cream, but the rest of it didn't leave an impression. The service was attentive and the price was quite reasonable.

I have only visited the Sky Bar a few times and never been a guest at the hotel. The bar has an unprecedented view of both the surrounding area and the city from the south. The food consists of high quality open-faced sandwiches that are not too expensive and a small selection of drinks.

I would like to specifically thank the waiter at the Basalt restaurant named Kristian. Talking about going above and beyond. He is extremely knowledgeable, constantly checking on the table, asking how the food is, and educating us on the extremely fine tasting food. I have never left a review on here, although this was worth it. Talking about an amazing deal for the price, you will not touch anything close. I have lived in Copenhagen for years and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Clean, courteous, attentive, and helpful. 10 stars!!

Although a nice hotel, it's clearly geared up as the main hotel for the conference centre next door. My room was nice but wanted to be modern and it didn't fulfil, what I thought, the needs. There's a clear window between the bathroom and the bed for a start, I'm quite liberal on my habits but bathroom stuff should be private in my opinion. I like the complimentary tea and coffee in the room but where do you plug the kettle in? Why do you have to hunt for a plug in order to boil some water? Modern/quirky yes, but I'd rather stay in my normal hotel when on Copenhagen.

Hotel is conveniently close to the bus and metro stations. Rooms look modern and clean, bed was reasonable. The breakfast restaurant was absolutely overcrowded, every morning! Breakfast choices were very good, but due to the small size of the seating area (relatively to the capacity of the hotel) it was not a pleasant experience. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. So, apart from the breakfast, it was a good experience.

Danish modern form over function. No grab bar in the shower. Limited drawer space. We were returning from a three week cruise and had 4 suitcases. Ordered a $40 per person dinner entree and was charged $1.25 per person for water because we did not order any other beverage. The water charge was removed at checkout, but just a bad policy by the hotel. We did not even consider having another meal there.

What a fun hotel to stay at! The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. We were on the 15th floor and the window is floor to ceiling so the view was amazing. Clean modern room with a great view. Impeccable service. The room did have a few minor flaws - cupboard doors that didn't close properly, and the placement of the keycard switch so that when opening the cupboard door above it, it was in the way (nearly broke) - and a proper steam iron would have been nice.

Clean hotel with friendly service. We were offered welcome drinks while we waited in check-in line. Sadly we did not get queen size bed as we wanted but pushing two twins together also kinda worked. We were in tower 2 on 20th floor. Had a great view. What I have issue with is that second tower entrance is closed at night so you have to detour through first tower. Minibar also had quite reasonable prices.

This is one of my favourite hotels in Copenhagen. Modern, efficient and comfortable with great views. Quite close to the airport. This is a business oriented hotel next to the Bella Center conference venue.

The hotel is about 5 kilometres from the centre of Copenhagen, so not that well located for a city break, though.

Bathrooms functional, but a bit short on shelf space. A soap tray in the shower would also be nice, as would some power sockets within easy reach of the desk.

Now part of the Marriott group, which brings benefits such as mobile check-in and check-out.

Good free open Wi-Fi.

Due to a canceled flight we had a very short stay here.
Bed was confortable but other than that the whole hotel is a bit charmless and aseptic.

Lovely hotel, very modern and smart design. Great facilities and friendly staff. The golden frog in the reception is definitely a plus. We went to the dis one night and it was a truly relaxing experience. A tram stop with frequent departures to central parts in Copenhagen is only 5 non walk away. Recommending buying a city pass in the ticket machine, valid 24h on metro, bus and train.

The hotel is aesthetically quite pleasing, very modern with an amazing wall garden in the reception area. Both restuarants at the hotel were fully booked for when we tried to get some dinner and had to resort to room service for food, which resulted in food being delivered without a knife and fork and missing the drink I ordered. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfy. The hotel is in a convenient 12 min taxi ride to the airport.

Was a very nice hotel. We checked in quickly and was upgraded at a low cost for a higher floor with a beautiful view. 4 stars because the spa was not the best. There were problems with the heating of the 2 pools. Overall we had a great experience!

What a sight this hotel is. Impressive on the outside and inside. It is the congress centre hotel and connections to and from the airport are possible via bus, metro and (free) shuttle bus easily. It is far away from the city though... The views from the rooms are very wide, but expect other high rises to appear in the next decade, as there are lots of empty plots around. The rooms are of a boring style and elegance, AC is good, beds are good, shower is alright, if you like those rain fall showers that is. There are spots of chalk and dirt popping up here and there, but otherwise the rooms are spotless. To be expected for the price... Let me tell you one thing, the hotel is an excellent conference venue. Rooms are great, service is excellent and the food... My god, the food is amazing!! I will be back!

Modern hotel with strong Danish design aesthetic, both inside and out. The room we had was clear, compact and efficient, without feeling too cramped. The breakfast buffet could be a bit of a mob scene, but they kept it rolling pretty well. The six elevators were never functioning at 100%, which was a bit of a problem in a 23-story building.

Nice building. Lots of tourist. Breakfast restaurant is kinda crowded. Nice views from your room. Beware the mini fridge, as soon you remove something you get charged for it. Lucky me I did replace what I was looking and they didn't charge me

Hotel outside of the city center. Friendly and helpful staff but this hotel has had its best days and soon needs some rework. Still in OK condition but definitely not premium anymore.

The place is being filled up with tour groups which doesn't help the above mentioned impression that it peaked.

Executive rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, B&O TV, generally clean. Curtains look messy and old. One was actually broken but was not fixed during our stay, toilet brush is... Let's say only be used by cleaning lady. Sofa is cute, comfortable but has stains on it.

Welcome hall is inviting. Corridors need some rework (feels outdated), gym has potential but it's not taking full advantage of it, elevators have cheap wall panels... All small details but it ads up to an unsatisfactory overall impression.

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful but there is always people waiting to be served. Why not opening additional desks?

The hotel could be a total hit with a a certain investment and better care to details.

Wow. This hotel is amazing. It is truly as magnificent as it looks. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The first morning we had breakfast on the top floor (Sky Bar) which was an amazing experience and the food was great. Don't go there if you're afraid of heights! ;) The last night I had the green salad in the restaurant on the groud floor with I really enjoyed as well. All staff was very friendly.

Awesome hotel. I highly recommend this place to all. My family enjoyed it .I live in Las Vegas and it was one of the coolest hotels I've ever been to. Front desk staff is awesome. They gave me a 3 class upgrade just for asking nicely

Amazing place: lovely view, nice restaurants, I love their xmas decoration and the customer service is really welcoming. The only bad thing is the parking, because you have to pay it.

Great junior suite.

Scandinavian design, Bang&Olufsen entertainment system, bed from Hästens, wireless internet that just works, and is fast, comfortable sofa, big work desk with room for two. Good view over the surrounding area.

Very impressive, architecturally. But once you were past the first impression you found more and more things that made little or no sense.
For starters: WHO are those couples that enjoys watching each other go to the bathroom?! What the hell is the purpose of glass walls to the bathroom in the hotel room? And there's also a crack under the bathroom door, so you can get perfect sound effects to the glass-wall vision.
When you press the button for an elevator, you choose which floor you want to go to. And if you're going down and people higher than you also press for the bottom the elevator will first go up and pick up other people. I am terrified of elevators and heights and did not enjoy having to go to the top floor (there's 23 floors, your ears even pop).
Then there was these little things, like the tap in the sink stretching out over it so that you can't wash your face without hitting your forehead in it. And the two single beds that make up the double bed slides apart very easily - I almost fell down in between them.
