From the service to the room, everything was o point. When we first came in. We were greeted by a young blonde hair woman. Great personality, when we got to the room, it was super clean and the bed was like better. I have a bad back and i woke up feeling amazing.

Fast forward to this morning 6/12/20, the breakfast was so good. The omelette was great with the fruit. Shower was phenomenal, they have a soap in the shower as well.

THE BEST ALOFT OF THE WHOLE CHAIN!
Every staff member at this hotel is amazing, John the bartender is so funny, nice, helpful, and genuine. Jason, the hotel director I believe, was more than accommodating, he was extremely caring and attentive. Jilly in sales was very quick to respond and always followed up. Front desk agents were always nice, saying good morning and asking if we need anything. AND THE FOOD IS GREAT, had lunch and dinner everyday so I was able to try the menu out and no complaints. Bar is very reasonably priced and pretty well stocked. I will definitely be back and recommend all my friends and family members to stay here in the future. Thank you all again for the hospitality!

Definitely enjoy staying at this hotel after a few trips here. Definitely see that the hotel has some pretty questionable characters hanging around the outside occasionally.seems like they are addressing it considering I have seen a squad car parked as well as stairwells locked at all times from the outside. First time there got a room with an old TV and second timegot the brand new big boy LG. The view from the rooms next to the marsh area is beautiful and for me a saving Grace when retiring from a stressful day at the office. The club sandwich and drinks from the bar we're also really good. Very friendly staff with great service.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, with a friendly staff. The rooms are well appointed and modern. Mine had micro kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and sink. My only complaint is that with a low occupancy rate, why put guests in adjacent rooms where you have to put up with noisy neighbors!

Amazing food and bar. The hotel is working around the chef/food menu. Far as location, not much around but close to where I needed to be. If you are here for more than a night you probably will want a car rental. No complaints with the room. Very clean and large space.

This place was so cool! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It looks just like the photos, no surprises!! The robot was awesome! This was our first time here and we booked and canceled two other hotels before deciding on this one. Great choice! We will be back and this is 40 minutes away from where our friends stay. Plenty of hotels were closer and less expensive. Nevertheless, Aloft, you definitely have some returning guests!!! P.S. There were 4 of us traveling, two basic rooms and no complaints!!

The hotel was great. The room itself was really nice with a kitchen and nice furniture and a really nice bath. Shower was a bit small for two. Only problem I really had was the bed. Sheet did not got the bed and made us kind of uncomfortable. The swivel TV and the small loving reminded me of a small studio though.

I got the room on a discount hotel site. I was very pleased with the hotel. The rooms are huge and are nice. It is really nice to have a couch and a kitchenette And not feel cramped. I was in the city for business and got alot of work done in my hotel room. I ordered room service and the food was fantastic! I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows felt like rocks in the morning, just a sign of feather stuffed. I recommend this as a place to stay!

Good decent hotel but not consistent with the Aloft brand. The rooms look like maybe a residence inn or some other old Homewood Suites room. They didn't quite transform the hotel completely -- only the lobby. Rooms were still decent though.

Not a bad hotel. But even for someone like me who is a deep sleeper, the noises are crazy. The A/C and heat are very loud when turning on and off, you hear adjacent rooms' toilets flushing, the fridge compressor is super loud when it kicks in, the door rattles when drafts come through, and the walls are very thin. And normally, the hotel is dead silent because it's in the middle of nowhere, so when any of these noises start, it'll probably jar you awake.

It also feels like the small aspects of the hotel were not thought through. The TV is in an awkward spot. The bed has no easily accessible outlets for plugging in a phone.

Really nice to have a full kitchenette with a full size fridge and microwave though.

Not the best hotel I've been to, but solid enough, and my standards in the ridiculous Bay Area are overall pretty low.

Every Aloft I've ever stayed at has had two characteristics: looks new and modern, and has the worst beds I've ever slept in. This one was no exception. Both beds in the room were lumpy, sagged in the middle, and were just generally not conducive to getting any sleep. The TV in this room was also surprisingly old and dim for such a modern hotel. Free water bottle replenished daily and a mini kitchenette with refrigerator were nice to have.

Decent hotel. Rooms are spacious and the internet is fast, the beds are comfortable and the staff is helpful. There are a few downsides: - It's not really close to anything. The (only) nearest restaurant is a 15 minute walk away; a bunch more are 25-30 minutes away on foot. So you really need a car. - Water pressure and temperature is inconsistent from room to room. - They don't use fitted sheets on the beds and the sheets they do use are for some reason too short for the bed, so they can ride up in the night. - There is no way to make hot water in your room that doesn't taste like coffee, and they don't have tea kettles they can provide on request. All in all, though, it's convenient, quiet, and decent bang for the buck by the absurd hotel standards in Silicon Valley, so I'll likely be back.

Friendly helpfull staff, large and nicely lit rooms, pretty nice spa area and small gym. Tasty burgers and breakfast options. Surprisingly nice body soap and shampoo/conditioner placed in dispensers. Specious bathrooms (although we couldnt get out the smell of swamp from drains for all stay). Cleanliness fine but might be improved.

Check in staff was okay, but busy. Room was mostly clean- a few spots on the walls and a stain on the sheets. Rooms are spacious and the furniture is comfortable. The bathrooms are large, and I liked the dressing area. Coffee and toiletries not refilled after first night. Outer entrances were hard to find.

Great food, cool atmosphere, friendly staff. Room was huge and comfortable bed. However, it smelled like burning oil when the AC ran. I also recommend the shower tiles be changed from a large floor tile (slippery) to a smaller tile for better grip.

What a great hotel, they even have a robot butler. Very modern, keyless entry, and great live music from local musicians. Room was roomy with a full kitchen, sofa and bed. Highly recommended for the traveller who wants to relax while marvelling at the newest technology.

Second time staying at this Aloft, I'll start with the GOOD:
The rooms are clean and spacious with fridge, microwave, cabinet space, comfortable beds.
Food is good & there are a few options so if your only option is to eat here for a week straight you can switch it up.
The outdoor pool area looks nice, and they've got a jacuzzi.
The front desk service has been great - they have always been friendly and helpful.

The BAD:
Both times I've stayed here I've been able to hear doors slamming in the distance and people walking by talking loudly so it can be a bit noisy depending on your "neighbors".

The UGLY:
The customer service for room service both trips has been inconsistent.. While there have been some pleasant experiences they've been tainted by negative ones. During my first stay, they were out of many things that were advertised on their menu. Trying to order was difficult due to the amount of thing that were out of stock. The woman helping me was really unpleasant and appeared to be put out. This time I called for room service. The woman who I spoke with said the "delivery person" was not going to be back for 15 minutes - I told her I didn't mind the wait. She said "Why don't you just come down here and pick it up yourself?". Never had such a bad time trying to get something to eat at a hotel.

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond what I would expect from them. I am not from or familiar with the area at all and they helped me with directions. This sounds easy and simple, but the extra part was that they printed out the directions for me, described land markers to look for to make sure I didn't pass up what I was looking for, and even asked me/gave me a bottle of water and told me about the happy hour specials while they checked on route safety info I asked for. The atmosphere was great and even though they're close to the dumbarton bridge, it was peaceful inside and the bar staff made it easy to relax and enjoy myself. Next time I come to silicone valley, I will be staying there.

The front desk lady was very nice. They have a cool robot waiter that will bring you things. Be easy because there's only one, I think. The room was very clean and bed softer than lamb ass. They were separate shampoo and body wash dispensers in our bathroom, and the soap smelled like fresh breezes. They have an option to go green which we did. I recommend this place if you wanna spend the night in the area.

A great place to stay, pet friendly with a wonderful staff. Room was clean and perfect in every way. Be sure to have the front desk send up extra towels or something like that so you get a visit from the robot in the lobby. Over all this one gets a five outa five.

We had all of our guests stay at the Aloft for our wedding at Ardenwood Farms. The Aloft staff are incredible. We worked with Jilly who treated us like family. She consistently went above and beyond to help us get sorted, feel comfortable, meet our price point, create a website...I could go on and on. This was the best hotel for all of us! We took up about 30% of the hotel rooms and all of our guests said that the hotel was beautiful, we all loved the Botler, and our honeymoon suite was wonderful. The pool and hot tubs are added bonus, too! Last thing, the food at the hotel was actually really delicious. Love this place and I highly recommend the stay for as long as you can.

From start to finish. As I arrived, there was a decent amount of free parking. Checking in was smooth. The room was very modern! Loved the small kitchen (no stove but had everything else). Internet was fast. Everything was cleaned. Except for the bathroom tub, it had a few hairs from the previous guest. We saw two very tiny spiders and killed it. The bed was so soft and comfortable! The bed and pillows just sunk my body, like a cloud. The pool was great! The AC was nice and chilly in the room. The only problem with the service is that the cleaning person came into the room at 9 am while I was still in bed without knocking. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but probably yes. I would mainly go for the pool,ac,bed, and tub.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it wasn't as great as previous visits. Overall customer service seemed subpar. When we booked our stayed we called and the front desk person wasn't very helpful- in fact it would have cost more to book over the phone than online. The bar experience was disappointing since everything I initially ordered was unavailable. Hopefully there will be a cocktail list in the future and mint for mojitos.

For the most part we were happy with our room and the hotel. We much preferred the San Jose Cupertino Aloft that we stayed at last week. However, while sitting at the bar we learned that the hotel checked in a guest into their room and when they came back from visiting family found someone else in their room, and hotel staff had no idea who was in the room. The hotel didn't do a great job of making it up to the guest and didn't make us feel secure about them letting random people into our room.

We were not in the most expensive room so there was a bit of wear and tear (tears in the couch for example). The room is spacious and beautifully modern in decor with a small kitchen. The cleaning crew may not be the most detail oriented- the mirror in the room was dirty when we checked in and 3 days (during which the basic stuff was cleaned) later the spots remain. We got food from the restaurant one night and everything was quite good. The botler (look up online if you're unfamiliar) is the cutest thing ever! Fair warning to all with migraines and or very sensitive noses, the reception area is waaaayyy over scented. My husband can't smell it but I have to practically run through to escape the smell. Weirdly enough, there aren't electric outlets on both sides of the bed. As I dislike having to exit bed each night to charge my phone I thought I'd share this deficit. Great AC and comfy bed and pillows. All in, I can recommend this hotel, especially for the price.

The Aloft is a nice hotel that is starting to show some wear. It's still a good stay, but could use some cleaning, painting, and repairs. Worth what they are charging, but not an amazing bargain.

Stayed one night on business. Had a drink and app while waiting for room to be prepared to check-in; 2 bottles beers and 6 chicken wings tallied up to $30. After an outing, returned only to wait at the bar for a solid 5 minutes while TWO bartenders served NOBODY. They both made eye contact but chose to check on refills for a few other patrons then proceeded to reorganize the beer cooler and straighten ever bottle on the shelves. I walked off after giving up. The room has 2 burned out light fixtures, no plug accessible near the bed to charge a phone, or anything else, the finished in the room look sloppy and dated. Fixtures are drooping from the ceiling, lighting in the toilet room is awful. It looks nice at a glance, but appears to be a dated structure with handful of upgrades to try and appear upscale. I want to be impressed, but am rather disappointed.

This is an odd aloft hotel. Unlike other aloft hotels this is a full service place. You can't get coffee or espresso from the machine as there's none. There are no pick and go snacks ass you'll have to order off a menu. All these "fancy" features are totally opposite of why I stay at aloft. The only good thing is botlr - a rolling robot that'll bring things up to your room and then blink at you.

Second time staying at this Aloft, I'll start with the GOOD:
The rooms are nice and spacious with fridge, microwave, tons of cabinet space to store snacks, comfortable beds.
The food is good and there are many options so if your only option is to eat here for a week straight you can switch it up.
The outdoor pool area looks really nice (haven't gone swimming yet), tons of seating areas and they've got a jacuzzi.

While there have been some pleasant experiences I will also detail the ones that left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended!)
The first time I stayed here they were out of many things that were advertised on their menu. When I tried to order some of the items that were out, the woman on the phone was extremely unpleasant and appeared to be "put out" as I was trying to place my order.

This time around I called for room service. The woman who I spoke with was pretty gruff with me and said the "delivery person" was not going to be back for 15 minutes - I informed her that I didn't mind the wait. She then huffed and said - "Why don't you just come down here and pick it up yourself?".

Conclusion: Hotel is cool for the most part but as far as food goes - I will be finding dinner elsewhere to avoid having another terrible experience with their room service.

Hotel is nice. Rooms are modern, could use some minor TLC where a little extra attention to dusting or plaster is warranted. Good incentive provided to "go green" and not use room service daily. However, shower water pressure is poor and while we realize that's for conservation reasons, it makes little sense when you have to spend twice as long under the showerhead in order to adequately rinse your hair... Also would be nice if the hotel offered continental breakfast, like most other chains do.

I come here frequently with coworkers to the XYZ Bar. The bar is quiet for the most part, and is a great place to relax, have a couple drinks, and listen to Mike Annuzi play live music on Tuesdays. I wish the happy hour lasted longer (and the regular priced drinks were a bit cheaper) but they have a great selection of bottled beers and alcohol. The bar staff are the friendliest people you will meet!

The stay was very nice and quiet.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was big for hotel standards. It was clean and modern. The only issue might be the lack of outlets near the bed for charging phones.

Very comfortable stay. First floor rooms can be noisy due to bar in lobby that attracts loud guests. Rooms are spacious and very nice. Comfortable bed and also has a shower with separate bathtub. Stayed 1 night here and it was awesome ! We tried to call down for a bottle of wine but there was something wrong with the connection (they couldn't hear us). 2 minutes later there was a server at our door apologizing for the inconvience and offering to get is something ! A lot of hotels don't put in that much effort. They also have a very cool Botlr that brings snacks and drinks to your door! The room was spacious clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend a night here ! Thank you Aloft !

It is a bit out of the way, but the hotel is nice and the staff are quite friendly. What impressed me is that my request to have the temperature lowered in my room before I arrived was actually done as asked. This is the first hotel that has actually listened to a special request that I've encountered. That's a level of detail that shows in every facet of the hotel.

Staff is great. Bed is super comfy. Strange decor pillows with weird pixel faces. Clean. Food is pricy but it is the bay area so that is expected. Heard the pool area was great but didn't get to experience it much. Also missed out on the snack butler robot.

We stayed at this hotel when we visited America for our son's wedding. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was serviced on a daily basis and the standard of cleaning was excellent. My only criticism of the room was that there was a microwave, sink and cupboards but no cutlery or crockery.
We used the pool on a daily basis. The pool area was always clean and there were plenty of fresh towels. The sun loungers and chairs were plentiful. The pool was not heated and was cold but there is a hot tub which was very warm.
The staff in this hotel were friendly and helpful.
We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
