Certifications

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products
• Use sustainable forestry certified paper

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Newly renovated. Our room is small, but cozy and everything is clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Nothing like fresh/warm croissants and espresso to start the day. Staff is very friendly as well.

We stayed at the Maison Astor for 4 nights. Rooms are decent size, not large but not too small. They recently remodeled, so everything was new but they had a few kinks with the building. The bright spot was the staff. They were the friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel I've ever stayed in. I never felt so welcome at any hotel. Once they get the remodel completed and everything fixed, this will be a wonderful hotel that I'd recommend to anyone.

Beautiful hotel with a great and knowledgeable service. The rooms are very spacious and new since the hotel is opened one month ago. The Maison Astor has a perfect location to experience Paris. Interesting fact: it was a home of John Jacob Astor IV who died on Titanic. During the Belle Epoque period he was the richest person in the world.

King room 609 is TINY. We had luggage for a 15 day trip, and we were stumbling over our belongings in this room. We were able ro move to an accessible room (junior suite) after several days and it made all the difference in the world. Much more space in the bedroom, sitting area and bathroom. This renovated hotel is still in a soft opening, having reopened the doors only a few weeks ago (end of June 2018). There is a small inner courtyard that is pretty, which our king room overlooks (no balcony facing the city). The hallway to our room is only 4 feet wide, which is interesting. They have made the most out of the little bit of real estate that they have. One elevator states a capacity of 6, but only holds two Americans comfortably providing for personal space. The staff here are very helpful and seek feedback to help them improve. Thank you Nadege, Helena, Ricardo, Tarek, and Denis for your excellent service!!

I had stayed at this hotel a little over a year ago when Hilton first bought it. It was run down at the time but since it was peak season, Hilton kept it open to service the end of the season. They shut it for almost an entire year to do a full remodel, and the results are fantastic. It's really a beautiful boutique hotel, you'd never suspect it even was a Hilton as it has all the charm of a small French boutique. The staff is fantastic and it seems every one of them knows my name as I come and go.

Had a business lunch at the bar, service was slow, choice limited, and the steak tartare I got was far from being worth its price.

Great location with a super friendly staff and awesome breakfast. The low rating is due to the property itself. The rooms were really outdated with dust and stains everywhere. The AC didn't work and the fitness room was about the size of a standard bathroom.

Great location. Good service and nice breakfast. The fitness center was junk, basically nothing in it and few items were 20 years old and barely functional. Recently acquired by Hilton brands so should improve soon.

This hotel was great! We came from the US and we picked this hotel because it was in the Hilton family (but not wholly Hilton yet) but we got points for staying and it was easy to book. It was the perfect French hotel. The staff was wonderful and super friendly. The lobby was big and cozy. We had arrived super early in the morning and had to wait for our room and they had no problem with me laying on the couch and falling asleep. I loved the staircases, all in Marble. Our room was gigantic and gorgeous. They have so many options for rooms so if you pick a small room, of course you'll get a small room. Our bathroom was modern and gorgeous and everything was super clean. The bed was super comfortable too. Yes the carpets in the hallways were a little shabby but they are undergoing a reno so I understand why they aren't really tending to them much. But to me it was part of the old French hotel charm. Our room was nothing but wonderful. I also was so impressed how you never saw the cleaning person until she came down to ask in the afternoon, if you needed anything else. They also turned down the bed every evening. You never saw "cleaning" carts hanging out in the hallways which I thought was really classy. And the bathroom towels were huge! You don't see that in America. We loved the little cozy bar. The breakfast was ok, nothing super but I think it's because we are used to American breakfasts. It was more Frenchy than we are used to. We ate there all but one morning though and was enough to keep us full. The coffee was always good. You can not beat the location! It was such a great hotel literally within waking distance of EVERYTHING. There were great little cafes just down the block but then walk no more than a mile any direction and everything is at your finger tips. Literally. We thought this hotel was great and we highly recommend it.

I visited Paris over the New Years Holiday 2014/2015. I had an outstanding stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful, the staff was wonderful , the food was excellent. In fact, I'm planning to go back in 2016 because I enjoyed it so much. This time I'm bringing a friend!!

Expensive but approachable French haute-cuisine. The staff is very friendly and thoroughly explain the French dishes. I loved the entrees - asparagus spears (asperges vertes rôties, jaune d Oeuf confit et Lard di Colonnata) and veal medallions (médaillon de veau façon vitello tonnato, artichauts poivrades et anchois marinés). The main dish I had wasn't quite my taste as I'm not a fan of lamb (l agneau de Sisteron en trois façons: la côte rôtie, le ris en navarin et l épaule confite), but was novel and well prepared. The dessert was awesome, I had their chocolate souffle (soufflé chaud au chocolat Grand Cru Michel Cluizel) and could barely finish it because it was just so sinfully rich. The main complaints I have are with the decor and ambience. First, the music is utterly a mismatch with the restaurant. They were playing house and rap, which I appreciate, but not for a fancy French dinner. Second, the decor just doesn't do the food and service justice - it isn't just dated, as I liked the old wooden chairs, they had charm, but I think they could go for a more intimate candle-lit experience.
