Room was on the small size but clean and modern. Bed was comfortable. All hotels downtown are expensive, Coast is in line with other hotels. There is some street noise but much better than those hotels on the busier streets closer to the highway.

THE VIEWS!!!!! This is a great place for a weekend getaway or a long term stay. The rooms are nicely appointed and the views can't be beat. Of course it's in a great location and a short walk from everywhere. The food is OUTSTANDING as well.

The hotel has a good service, most of the workers are friendly. It is expensive and our room was smelling not good. The have AC on the rooms which is amazing during the summer time. But they don't have breakfast included. The swimming pool is small and old as the jacuzzi. The hotel has a gym that is ok.

Rooms are very cozy and stylish. TV operation is pain though, super slow system (changing channels). Parking is only vallet and costs $42 per night. Sea side facing room extra $40 bucks per night. Good location, close to Canada Place and few minutes drive from Stanley Park.

this hotel in a great location downtown Vancouver. Close to all amenities walking distance from most things you probably want to see downtown rooms are very nice modern staff seemed very polite the food downstairs is good but I get up a couple of mishaps once pancakes were undercooked. Few days because we are some snacks to eat at night or go to the local restaurant that is closed the pool in this hotel is a very high chlorine smell not all that big either the gym is okay for a hotel. hotel pricing isn't too bad either

Great location a couple of blocks right up from the harbour. Rooms are a decent size considering you are right downtown. Staff are kind and helpful. One of the managers, Annie, went above and beyond to help me adjust my reservation during my stay.

Exquisite hotel near the Canada Place cruise terminal. We had a decent view of the harbor from our room on the 11th floor. Room was superb. Even a high-tech toilet. Plenty of dining options nearby, just minutes walking. Lovely stay at this hotel!

My wife and I recently stayed 2 nights at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel by APA. We had a terrific time staying here. The service provided by the staff was friendly and professional. The room on the 18th floor was large, clean, and had a balcony. I was happy to have stayed here and will most likely return here upon my next visit due to the wonderful experience we had. I highly recommend everyone give serious consideration to this hotel if you are visiting Vancouver.

Friendly staff always goes a long way to making our stay more enjoyable. Like most of the hotels downtown parking is a nightmare, we ended up parking at the Marriott next door. Nice clean rooms, would stay again!

Beautiful hotel downtown close to Stanley Park. Friendly, professional staff, large rooms, in-room coffee makers, fridge, microwave, WiFi, nice bathroom amenities, bidet, deep bathtub, and base/restaurant. Good fitness center and pool as well. Decent restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores within walking distance. The rooms were pretty modernized and soundproof. What's not to love about this hotel?

I stayed at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel for two nights in Mar-18 for a conference. The room was nice, the bed comfortable, the room very clean, and nice and quiet. The room was outfitted with a large, at least 47" TV, a small fridge and a safe. One nice extra was the in-toilet bidet (Toto "Washlet"), not a feature I've found in any hotel that wasn't in Japan. The view from my room (1003) was lacking, providing only an intimate view into the offices in the tower across the street and a tiny sliver of the water beyond the buildings.

Beautiful city views and clean basic rooms. Very astetically pleasing. Love that there is a teachings of the Buddha along with the Bible; very refreshing.

Like to add that I did have one unpleasant moment during my stay. We decided to participate in the hotels refreshingly green program which entails a less frequent room cleaning. So instead of having it cleaned every day it is every three nights. By our fourth night no one had cleaned our room so on that morning we decided to call the desk to have it cleaned while we were out and about. When we arrived back at our hotel room it was cleaned, however, a note had been left by the cleaning staff. The note in short stated that because we had chosen to participate in the program we would not get any cleaning services. Despite the fact that the cleaning staff was wrong in this statement the fact that a note was left at all was what was off putting. Regardless if we were wrong when a guest calls to have a room cleaned the room should be cleaned no questions and certainly no notes/comments.

We stay here often, it is our family's preferred hotel for work and pleasure. *Excellent* staff. They're very friendly, sincere and attentive. We have not once had a problem with a staff member in the dozens of multiple-night stays we've had. The room is always in pristine shape when we arrive. Extra pillows or blankets have never been a problem even though there are already some in the room, and they are delivered within minutes.

We stayed before and after APA took over. Before, we enjoyed the free chocolates and bottles of water in the evening (turn-down service was also available). I also found the decor much more appealing. Now, there are bidet toilets, a little more storage in our room, and slippers provided. Our room has a mini fridge every time now, and we had to ask in advance before so maybe they're in every room now. We have to ask for a microwave, it would be nice if each room had one.

The restaurant does not appeal to us. The food is very inconstant depending on the chef. I've had the same meal be phenomenal one night and taste like street food the next. The service from them is very good though.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It is very clean, safe, modern, and good location. Gym is above average for a hotel. TV in the room is actually good and without any issues. Parking is valet only; convenient and quick, but no self park option available in the hotel. Here's what I'm not a fan of. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but it's missing 4 star amenities. Concierge is rarely present. The lobby is small and not inviting. There's no bar. No bottled water in room. No mini bar in room. Closet is teeny tiny. Room window faces an office building with many office lights left on overnight. Room furniture has some damage. No newspaper delivered to room. Overall great hotel, but nothing that makes me want to come back to this particular hotel unless the price was right again.

Nice and friendly staff. Room is clean and in good condition. I appreciate that the bathroom have fan for ventilation when showering to prevent mold. I love the bidet on the toilet. First time using it, felt like I've been missing out on life. Great that they provide house slippers and umbrella. Great that they're eco-friendly. They have great compost and recycling options.

Overall an excellent hotel, it's in a good location, the staff were all attentive and the room was clean.

The downsides:
Mandatory valet parking is about $40/day.
There was a large empty space in our room that seemed like it was missing a chair.
Room service forgot the toast with our breakfast.

Good location in the city of Vancouver. Close to Urban Fare and Starbucks. Comfortable and clean. Good size rooms. Slightly overpriced for the hotel...then again, Vancouver is relatively expensive. Having complimentary parking for hotel guests would have been good.

Stayed in room 606, the staff was wonderful and helpful. Front desk Maria and housekeeping Maria were lovely and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I ordered eggs Benedict from room service, probably one of the best I've ever had. The staff member who delivered it was friendly and courteous. Overall a great stay.

5 star place in a 5 star city. From staff, to service to food. You name it and it’s a 5star. I don’t know what to say. The best place to stay in Vancouver downtown. If you don’t wanna spend a fancy amount on four seasons or fairmount, coast coal harbour is the way to go.

Location is good, close to the conference centre, shops, and walking distance to Stanley Park. Rooms are clean and well equipped with huge TVs and Japanese style toilets. Our king size room had ample space to set up our baby's travel crib, which was an added bonus.

I stayed here on a vacation with my mother. The hotel is quite nice and the staff is incredibly helpful. Clean rooms and speedy service. Only minor complaint is that it was a tad noisy (noise from street level) in early morning. I slept with ear plugs and was fine.

As with any room you get from Orbitz you're not quite sure how true to the photos and description it will be. This hotel exceeded all expectation. Every staff person was very professional, helpful and friendly. The room was welcoming, clean, bright and the amenities were many. Luz at the front desk was great. He gave us such great information and direction our day was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious and the servers were very personable. I will stay here again when I return to lovely Vancouver!

Service and check in was pretty good. The room is clean, tv is big, beds are comfy, and wifi is free. The other nice thing is that the shower drains well. I hate hotels that flood the tub when you shower. I stayed 5 days, and on the last day, they added fridges in every room, so bonus for every one staying here after me. They will also exchange us currency to cnd for free, but not they other way around. Wish they would have told me that at the time.

Excellent service and nice clean room, they have new heated toilet seat people may like it but I don't. They only offer valet parking or you need to park your car one or two block away..... So you have no choice specially when it is raining or snowing in Vancouver. The things I really like is their service that I mention, when they know I'm in hurry they offer carry our luggage to the room and take the key to pass over to the parking attendant. And when I holding the parking stub in lobby the staff walk up and ask do I need my vehicle, I like this kind of service.

Stayed in the double/double comfort suite during a convention. The staff was very accommodating to me and one of the staff members even asked me my preferred pronouns. They had fancy Japanese toilets with heated seats and all kinds of special functions.

My one problem is that my room didn't have a fridge, and although they would have given me one at no charge, there was none available. They offered to store my drinks and perishables in their secure fridge though, so that's nice.

I will say that I am biased here as I am a member of the Coast Rewards program, but the only reason I am a member, is that I have always been impressed with Coast Hotels no matter where I stay.

What can I tell you about this one?

Well, for starters, I have never met a Coast staff member who was grouchy, or did not greet me, and I mean everyone from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff and even the maintenance staff. This place was no exception. Very friendly staff. They even arranged to have a fridge brought to my room on request.

The room was very clean and well l aid out and everything worked well. Nice hot shower, with plenty of pressure and large fluffy absorbent towels. TV works well, and it is nice to have a lamp beside the bed that has a plug in, what with all the USB chargers needed in today's world.

The gym was excellent as well. Plenty of cardio machines, and a great assortment of dumb bells and weight machines. I also saw yoga mats, foam rollers, BOSU balls, and exercise balls as well.

Valet service was excellent and so was the bell service.

Location wise, this is a mere block from the Convention Centre and two blocks from Canada Place. The seawall is also a short walk away and if you wanted a nice little jaunt, Stanley Park Aquarium is about 2.7 km (1.6 Miles) away.

Stay here. You won't regret it!

I was there for a banquet in the main hall. I also helped a vendor in moving things from a back entrance and the staff was very helpful in giving access to places we needed to go. The food was good but wasn't the best food from a hotel. For a plated meal, the steak and fish were overcooked to almost well done and getting dry for the fish.

The service was very good for drinks, cleaning up and serving food.

My wife and I decided to last minuet to stay at the Coastal Harbor Hotel. Glad we made the choice to switch hotel rooms are very clean staff is very helpful and responsive. If you have a problem they can help you out instantly. The hotel is also eco-friendly each room has its own compost can and they also have a green program for housekeeping. Each room gives you the choice of a Catholic or Buddhist bible in your room. Vegan options on the room service menu. Views, views and views. Overall great hotel and friendly staff.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience at this hotel!! We were so well taken care of from the time they offered to pick up what we wanted from the store and brought it to our room, to bringing me ginger ale and crackers when I had an upset stomach and then even calling the next morning to see how I was feeling and offered a later check out time. We will definitely be staying here again. The hotel is beautiful and clean and the outdoor hot tub and pool are a definite bonus. But the courteous and accommodating staff definately made our stay extra special! Thank you guys we will definately be back!

A modern chic hotel right in the middle of West End downtown Vancouver. We stayed in a room that had a pretty decent view of Vancouver Harbour. Our view was obstructed by two other buildings between us and the harbour, but we still got to see a small sliver of it, large enough to see the floating petro station. The room was very tidy and clean and was an absolute pleasure to stay in. The location made it extremely easy to walk to Stanley Park or Canada Place which were both literally a couple of mins away. It was also just a couple of blocks away from the Tram line so it made getting around all of Vancouver relatively easy.
