ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery

LEED-certified buildings reduce energy and water by as much as 40%. LEED-certified buildings save resources and have a positive impact on the health of occupants while promoting renewable, clean energy.

USGBC's rating system has four levels: Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Green Building Councils in other countries have similar programs.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Very satisfied with my stay here at the Conrad. They know how to hotel-it right here. Conrad does a real nice job of providing the essential hotel amenities packet, it's refreshing to see no simple mistakes being made for this. The staff are extremely helpful, nice and accommodating as they helped one of my friends get back into his room after getting locked out. The view the rooms provide are also a good plus, in addition to the location. It can be a bit pricey here, but apart from that, I'd recommend and return again.

Hands down the best place I've stayed. I'm a nurse volunteering in NYC, I was fortunate enough to stay here for a week. It was a sad goodbye. This is the best hotel I've stayed in, and I've been to many hotels. The concierge was incredibly thoughtful and courteous. The room was spectacular. The area was a warm welcome from work, it took me to a whole different atmosphere that truly was the highlight each day. I've had to relocate to be here and this was beyond gracious to have a place to renew my mind and spirit each night. I am incredibly grateful for the experience. I wish I'd known sooner, I would have stayed longer. Thank you all so much for what you've done. You've made a difficult experience more comforting and gave me an escape from the dispair during these difficult times.

Wow, very nice place to stay. Excellent location. Two minutes walk to every attraction. Concierge is very efficient, check-in so easy, and my room, one said best room among 5. Room so clean, large, with comfort. We enjoyed continental breakfast full of varieties. I wish till stay again.

What I liked - the vast spaciousness of the lobby is mesmerizing. I love the open air concept with the rooms around the outside and the lobby has no ceiling. The rooms are large, modern, thoughtful in terms of layout and really comfortable. I also love that Shake Shack is 100 yds away.

Where there is room to improve - Service. Very broadly speaking the service was fine. Front desk staff friendly but not overbearing. If you asked, you received. I just feel like it’s not enough. You are a luxury brand within the Hilton Family. The service should reflect that. Should be more personal and more pro-active. That’s what turns a 4 star into a 5 star in my opinion.

My husband bought me here for my birthday. I love this hotel. He had stayed here before for business and he kept talking about the Conrad. So I had to come. The staff was amazing. The Ambiance of the hotel was elegant. We had a suite which was extraordinary. My views from my room were just stunning.

This is bar none my favorite hotel in NYC. I’ve stayed several times now and I am just in love with the rooms and the building architecture. Which is probably why I’m so bias. Service is great and I’m treated like a king. But the rooms... ahhhh Heaven. Love the layout. Huge shower. Separate toilet/sink room arrangement. Clever desk and lounge layout, and the beds are so comfortable I could take them home. And talk about silence!! I hear nothing! Which means I get to be in my room in peace and quiet, and sleep like a baby. Overall, the quality from start to finish is over the top, including breakfast in their restaurant. Just a really great, luxurious, professional experience as a business traveler.

Amazing hotel in every way! The Conrad Hilton is the only hotel in NYC I ever stay at. Rooms are large , spotless, well supplied with bathrobes slippers free shoe shine, tea coffee water. The staff always goes out of their way for quests! Really great people work here! They treat you like family. Just outside the hotel are shops, restaurants, marina and just down the street on at the seaport is a discount ticket agency! Quick taxi ride to anywhere in city but great to get back to hotel for tranquility after craziness in downtown.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Housekeeping staff was wonderful. They went the extra mile to get us a small fridge in our room as we were travelling with our son and needed to keep some of his food cool. Will definitely return.

Beautiful hotel, with fantastic style and decor. The bed is soft and comfy, there is tons of closet space, and the shower is super spacious. We stayed in a deluxe with a king bed, and it was very roomy for NYC. The staff are super attentive. I had some items delivered to the hotel and it was waiting for me in the room. They also filled the ice bucket with ice, and had dog bowls and a dog bed waiting for my furry babies. I've stayed in many hotels in NYC, and this one is the best by far. Two negatives: there were some stains on the carpet, and the hotel is in lower Manhattan, which is kind of far from everything, but who cares--everything is a quick train or cab ride away.Nice

I loved it!! It was a great experience I've never been to that part of the city before. What a pleasant surprise. The hotel was definitely 5 star. The only thing was I felt that the Gym was a little small but, very nice and food was accessible every where but not late at night past 12am. Room service is available but, a bit pricey. - Robert Mallory

The rooms were VERY nice. Very comfortable beds, couch, and chairs. Even the floor was comfortable. The customer service experience was also pleasant and professional. The biggest complaint is the lack of refrigeration space, but that is pretty minor. Also includes other nice accouterments such as super soft robes, extra pillow/blanket, even umbrellas.

The hotel is nice and has tons of lovely art, but one thing that seriously bothered me was how hard it was to find enough convenient electrical outlets for all the things my boyfriend and I needed to charge. I only had 4 things (and he only had 2, his phone and tablet) but there was only a single open socket on either side of the bed and I had to hunt around the living room behind furniture trying to plug stuff in. This is not an old hotel... they should realize that this is a concern for modern visitors. I'm glad I didn't bring my laptop. I was also sad that the mini fridge in the room literally did not have space for me to store a single small container of pudding I wanted to have for breakfast, because it was full of expensive items that you will be charged for if you so much as move them from their designated locations. Sigh.

The staff have all been great. The rooms are clean, though slightly dated. We asked for a pack and play for our toddler and it came with a tiny traveler pack of soap and lotion for babies, as well as a small stuffed animal. Very nice touch I haven't seen anywhere else. Good location. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a great location but not the best Conrad i have stayed in. The few people that I interacted with were friendly. Doormen were welcoming. Bellmen went the extra mile to ensure you are happy with your stay. they saw me for a few days and they made me feel like home. Room service was fine. However, the restaurant at lobby level was not properly managed. I was sat at a table that was not cleaned but set. I had lunch with my Infant son but they did not take away the extra setting, which I find it strange. One thing i found frustrating was that there was no changing table in the bathroom on lobby level - I had to use their little side table/drawers to change my son.

The Loopy bar is an added bonus, enjoy amazing sunsets and cocktails.

The rooms were very spacious and the daily breakfast on offer and dinner did not disappoint.

Location is perfect for a run next to the Hudson and the quiet Financial district over a weekend.

Such a beautiful place! This was my first trip to New York, it won't be my last! The rooms are very comfortable and I'm in love with the pillows! I must have them!!I wonder if they will ship them to me??🙄 The staff if very attentive and go above what's expected. The only thing that was not up to par with everything else was the food temperature from room service. The squid was cold and chewy.

Amazing hotel. Rooms are huge for NYC, shower and bed are wonderful. Staff is amazing. I had put the service light on, then switched it to privacy because I stopped by the room for a few minutes. We left, forgot to turn the privacy light off. The housekeeping director proactively called my cell phone to confirm what I was intending and I was able to get the room cleaned even though I forgot to turn off the privacy light. I'll stay here again in a heartbeat next time I'm in NYC!

Great hotel for business. Check in through app, electronic keys and seamless app check out - wonderful. Rooms are great size, modern upscale, super comfortable. Great space for work and relax through all-suite concept. Amazing housekeeping - I had a cold & nasal spray on my night stand - next day I would find extra tissues and water. Overall very pleasant experience - well managed property!

The Conrad New York was absolutely stunning! The decor was extravagant, yet tasteful. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Also, and most important for events, the food was delicious. Five star hotel and five star service. The staff are absolutly faultless and nothing is too much trouble. I was suffering from a really heavy cold and housekeeping noticed the tablets and tissues on my bedside table and when we returned from a day out I found lemon, herb tea and hot water together with a little note wishing me well. Very impressive. The suite was lovely and the super king sized bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable. The shower was to die for, hugs and a monsoon shower head to warm you after a busy day of sightseeing. The rooms and community areas were immaculately presented. Highly recommended. Thank you.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights on Thanksgiving weekend and loved it. Enjoyed the large rooms, comfy beds and excellent service. The views were nice and the hotel was in good proximity to everything needed. I also enjoy the physical area better than midtown because it is so much more quiet. I don't have to wear earplugs to sleep! I would absolutely recommend it.

Five star accommodations. Big suites with great views of the water. Cool rooftop patio (Loopy Doopy), where you can get some iconic cocktails. Lovely artwork and accents throughout the hotel. Good restaurant. Their only drawback is that they have no pool. Quiet Battery Park location, near trendy eateries and close to World Trade Center Memorial. On our visit, they left my wife a bottle of champagne for her birthday. Top notch service!

All of the windows in all of the rooms have blinds on them that you cannot raise. You can open them but you cannot completely lift them to get a terrific view out of your window. Other than this my experience in the room has been terrific. There were some complications arriving for a conference where the hotel didn't have the best information for checking in but this could have been a one-time fluke. The location is terrific and the facility is beautiful

One of the better hotels in the battery park area. Some maintenance can be improved but the staff make you feel like you are the only guest staying at the hotel.

Added some photos of the luxury suite. Website is a little lacking in terms of showing what the room is really like. I found it spacious and comfortable.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

This is an outstanding hotel. The high quality of service the employees offer to those residing was remarkable. I had suffered a small surface injury near my wrist, and one of the cleaning maids by the name of Jeanette kindly gave me an plethora of band-aids when I had only asked for a couple. If you're unable to find your way, the front desk reps are very knowledgeable about the NYC area, and helped me a number of times arrive to my desired location when leaving the hotel. The bellmen were very helpful as well, and I had a very nice conversation with one of them. Overall, you get treated extremely here! My stay at the Conrad strongly shaped how I experienced NY, and I'm glad the hotel and staff were able to play such a major role in my experience.

Beautiful hotel and I loved our room. We were there for a week so it was nice to have a separate living area to the bedroom. The shower room was huge and had the first rainfall showerhead I've ever used that was powerful enough to wash my hair. Lobby is lovely and spacious and I felt fine hanging out there for a few hours after I checked out before heading off to the airport. The only annoyance is the lift that dings at each floor you go past.

I have no idea what the room rate was as I was staying with a friend, but the quality of everything was excellent. The light switches, air conditioning, shower, everything was great quality. Bed sheets were nice and smooth and didn't feel like they've been washed a thousand times with the cheapest detergent in existence (like most hotels). Nice slippers and robe were included plus a Nespresso machine, iron and mini fridge all in the room.

I'll start by saying that I am not a person who usually write many reviews. My girlfriend and I spent our anniversary weekend at The Conrad this past Saturday in room 1202. We booked our suite through her jobs benefits program, and received an excellent rate.I don't even know where to begin explaining how phenomenal our entire stay was. From the time we checked in, our experience was seamless and when we reached our room, and opened the door, we were absolutely stunned. It's not often that you come across a hotel whose pictures look exactly like the rooms, often times pictures are edited to create a false depiction of what you're actually getting. The Conrad did a fabulous job at exemplifying exactly what we had anticipated. The suite was extraordinarily clean, very spacious and as modernized as we have ever seen. Each staff member that we encountered were as courteous as can be (which is almost unheard from one New Yorker to another ;). We ended up returning back to our room pretty late at night, so I asked my girlfriend to see if we could possibly get a late check out. She called and an extremely friendly woman by the name of Amanda informed us that she would give us a complimentary late check out which was awesome. Upon check out the next morning, we decided to grab a bite to eat just before leaving. We called down to see if someone could bring our bags downstairs and another very friendly woman (whose name unfortunately escapes me) told us that she would be more than happy to hold our bags while we went to eat, and that she would send someone up to retrieve them. The Conrad and its employees are absolutely phenomenal, and make it easy to want to return again on any occasion. My girlfriend has vowed to spread the word to her colleagues at work, and let everyone know that The Conrad is a total gem of NYC and if you are in the area, or in need of a hotel, this place should definitely be at the top of your list! Thanks to all of the staff there, you really made our anniversary a special one!

Our room was very nice. The bed was the best. We had a 1 bedroom suite. My son had no complaints about the sofa bed, it had an air mattress. The decor was simple and modern. The only staff we had a conversation with was at check-in, with John, and he was very nice.

As a frequent traveler the Conrad is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff couldn't be nicer and or more attentive. The room itself was huge with plenty of space. The room can be turned into two separate areas by sliding doors. The staff turned the couch into a separate bed for our daughter. So she had her own room at night. Also the hotel is updated with new technology which adds to the experience. Amazing shower as well.

The Conrad is a very nice looking hotel located right across the street from the freedom tower in the financial district of NYC. The conference rooms was clean and up to date as well as the dwellings throughout. After our presentation they provided finger food and open bar. I was only at the hotel to meet some clients, but it's a beautiful hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Plus it's in a fantastic location of New York City. You're only steps away from so much of what New York is all about. Right across the street is the World Trade Center with great skyscrapers and plenty shopping to do. You're steps away from a great promenade overlooking the Hudson River and New York Bay. There's a fantastic movie theater around corner with Reclining seats and family friendly. And of course you're steps from the NY subway to take you everything else that makes New York City great. I would recommend to family & friends. Plus I hope stay for a nice staycation with the wife

Visited NYC last week during my birthday and the Conrad New York played such a big part in my overall enjoyment of the trip. Upon check-in, Lori at the front desk noticed it was my birthday, and later on surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate sent to our room. What a nice gesture! The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well appointed. Service is excellent too. I had to get my shoes shined quickly, and despite the normal 2-hour shoe shine turnaround requirement, the staff exceeded my expectations by showing up at my door and immediately polished my shoes, within just 10 minutes. The food at Atrio is also wonderful. This is one of my favorite hotels in North America!

My wife came with me on a business trip, and we stayed at this hotel for a week. She loved it. Breakfast was great, and we had a great view. I would walk to work on Water St in the AM, and then explore different restaurants in the evening. She loved the robes so much she had to buy one.

This place was awesome. I would highly recommend it. Great staff and super accommodating. Susan and everyone who works there will make you feel right at home. They also suggested certain restaurants and things to do that we loved. We definitely will be back!!

Nice new rooms but small. No attention to detail. Room service does not answer phone, room, concierge never there so no such service. No bath in suites. No spa, small basic gym, heating in room poor so in freezing temperatures - cant get it right. Loads of school trips staying so teenagers smooching on sofas everywhere. No atmosphere. Food in restaurant quite good - the beef stake was outstanding. Though diamond member no such treatment. Stay in Refinery, Gransevoort or similar cool places for same money.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

Everyone is extremely friendly. Our room was ready long before we were there and we were able to check in early. Same thing with checking out. We wanted to check out a little later and they let us stay for another 2 hours with no additional charge. Housekeeping kept everything very clean. The room was very modern looking and the view was great. Would definitely come again!

Stayed at the Conrad New York in downtown Manhattan across from the World Trade Museum. The hotel is Absolutely Amazing. The staff goes out of their way to make sure that everything was on point. The room was Magnificent, the drinks are a little pricey but thats why we used the stores downstairs. All in all a GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Location is right on the pier with a great view of Jersey City and the river. A few minutes away from the world trade center puts it in a fairly convenient place. The room was a good suite with a separated bedroom and living room each with their own tv so no fighting for what to watch. The only point that bothered me was that the shower and bathroom were separated such that you had to walk in the hallway to reach the other. Overall good experience!

The rooms are very well furnished suites with good toiletries. The front desk staff are friendly and prompt service. Housekeeping is also very good at fulfilling requests (e.g., extra pillows).

Great location. Rooms are very well appointed, and modern. Staff are excellent. The restraint and bar are good too. Number of good restaurants attached, a cinema and barber!

The Conrad hotel is such a beautiful place. It is located in Battery Park City and is one of the best places just to stop by. Food, service, and the scenery is all great.

This is such a gorgeous property. Every detail was thought of and it really made our stay wonderful. The suites are very spacious, especially for NYC and the technology in the room is really cool too. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I did not stay at the hotel, but attended a conference here. The amenities are top notch. Staff is very kind and attentive. This hotel is next to absolutely everything you might need and/or want to see in Lower Manhattan within easy walking distance.

There are a lot of small problems with the hotel which, when added to the less than ideal location, make it poor for tourists. If you have to be in financial district for work, which most of the people there are, then it's a decent place to stay. Unless you are handicapped, because all the ADA rooms are at the far end of every floor! Rooftop bar is underwhelming with bad food ($15 potato chips, $18 ham slices, same you'd get from the grocery). Rooms are noisy

The lobby is a great place to have drinks and people watch. Service is a little slow, but courteous. Don't expect to pop in for a drink and be out in 15 min. This is an experience you should take the time to soak in.

Very pleasant hotel. Flawless service. Good location. Bus stops, ferry and subway is within easy reach. Century 21 and city hall is nearby. There is a shake shack in the same building which is open till 23. No bathtub in rooms but there is a nice rain shower. Complimentary coffee cartridges are offered for the coffee machine in the room. Makes very good coffee. This was probably our favourite small touch.

Helpful and friendly staff; reasonably priced accommodations; cool decor; walking/biking distance to the water, One World observatory, restaurants, etc. (CitiBike dock a few steps away). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Attended a conference at the Conrad. Good location, near the water, good place to explore. The hotel itself looks new, nice lobby, spacious. Meeting rooms are a little cramped if it's a large conference I.e. more than 300 people. Otherwise amenities and services appear to be good.

Can not review the price, as I stayed on points. The rooms are great. The location isn't ideal. They have a huge bathroom, but no bathtub. They let you choose your amenity kit, which was kind of cool.

This hotel is first class comfy clean, and new. Not your typical NYC shoebox.
