We had a pleasant stay, it was a family emergency and luckily they found us a room. The first night I experienced allergies in the hall and room, spoke with the front desk in the morning and when we returned that night, no allergies

(Front Desk) Staff wasn't pleasant. There is no complementary coffee available at any time. There is an additional charge (fee) for parking, that I was unaware of, and wasn't told about. Check in and Check out wasn't an enjoyable experience and wasn't informative. The woman acted like I was a disturbance or that she hated her job or her life. The Hotel was clean and the housekeeping staff was pleasant, professional and personable. The room was clean and the bed (and pillows) were comfortable, however the room walls were thin and we heard noise all night, from the room above us. I would probably stay again, because it was clean and comfortable, but I would also look elsewhere and wouldn't be in a rush to re-book, mostly because the staff was useless and couldn't care less (and there was no coffee - but she didn't tell me that either) [Long story]

Poorly managed. Elevator # 1 Broken for over 12 hrs before I checked out and 2 was intermittent. And my room key did not permit me to re-enter the building. And finally no complimentary coffee in the lobby. Even much less expensive hotels at least give you that.

I spent one night at this property. My room was a King room, with a comfortable easy chair and foot stool. The desk chair was nice, with a padded seat and mesh back. All items in the room worked properly, and we're in good repair. My room included a fridge. Staff was very friendly at all touch points. Fitness center was small, but functional. Two Life Cycle treadmills, an elliptical, and a bench with dumbbells was provided. Breakfast was the usual Courtyard fare. A hibachi/sushi restaurant is less than a quarter mile away.

Not terrible. Not great. At least it's clean and everything. Asked a front desk girl where the nearest convenience store was, and she barely even knew, and ended up sending me on a 3 mile walk to a store that was closed for remodel. The area is slightly sketchy, but not dangerous.

Stagg was very friendly. The place was very nice and very clean. My only complaint is that the place they have inside to get breakfast and dinner wasn't good. 3 workers and none of them knew anything. Went to get a coffee and was going to get food but coffee alone took forever. The worker at the register didn't know how to use it. The one making the drinks didn't know how to make them and the third worker just had no clue and confused everyone. Get better staff in that one area and the place would be a 5 star rating.

It's a hotel with no distinguishing features from other hotels. They got the job done. No complaints.

Nice hotel. I was disappointed that there was no hot tub, but they did have a small pool. The only other thing that I didn't like was the proximity of the hotel to major commuter train tracks and station. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, so overall it was a pleasant 4 night stay.

I used mobile check-in for my room and it was ready several hours early! The hotel staff are very friendly. The room was clean spacious. The bathroom while not huge was setup perfectly with the sink outside of the shower and toilet. Super conviet for getting back on 287 or heading over to the capital theater.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Bathrooms have a large shower and ample towels, as well as complimentary Paul Mitchell bath products. Although some rooms are close to the road and train tracks, which gives some noise, they are pretty well insulated so the noise is muffled. Rooms facing the courtyard are quieter. There is a pool and fitness center, a business center, and large touchscreen information boards in the lobby. Free wifi is available throughout the hotel for all guests. The bistro is only open for breakfast and dinner. A small menu, but the food is good. There's also a selection of frozen foods and a microwave next to the front desk, along with basic toiletries, snacks, and even beer. There are no restaurants in walking distance. The staff are all very courteous and friendly. They remember your name, offer assistance, answer questions, and respond immediately to any concerns presented by guests.

7

The location was great, directly off the highway for easy access. Downside is that you can hear the trains and trucks on 95. Drinks were great, the tv was text to the bed supposed to the foot, thought that was a bit odd. If I was in the area, I'd stay again.

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Great location close to everthing in Rye. You can walk to the train station. Or drive into the city in about an hour into downtown Manhattan.

9

Greatest hotel ever!! Quaint little bistro down stairs, right off the highway and right at the edge of the city. About a 20 minute walk to The Capitol Theatre. Doesnt seem as congested busy for its size and location, but the rooms, employees, and building itself were superb. Due to its location and how quiet it is, you might be surprised at who you may see during your stay.

We got the king room with sofa bed. Great room would of been nice if they included a microwave included in the room especially for the price of one night. Pool is pretty good. Also would be nice if breakfast was included with the stay

Was nice, they allowed us to check-in early but failed to mention that they were upgrading us with an upcharge which was corrected upon checkout. Not really worth the price. The pool is very small and only goes to 4' deep. Was clean and nice looking though!

7

Typical Courtyard located on the border of Rye and Port Chester. The hotel has easy access to I95 and 287. It's a short drive to downtown Port Chester. In recent years the Port Chester downtown area has undergone a transformation with numerous upscale dining options and a lively bar scene. So this is a good location for business and leisure travelers.

Best place to stay when visiting Rye and Port Chester NY. Convenient to 287 and I-95 and Rye train station. Lovely interior courtyard to relax. Updated interior last year. Great staff. Starbucks downstairs. Indoor pool. Very nice rooms - try and get one overlooking the interior courtyard. Many rooms have balconys. Quiet. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

6

A good Courtyard with a fresh redesign inside and great staff. However, the beds are just not breathable. Whatever linens or mattress covers they use are comfortable at first, but I kept waking up and feeling overly warm, even with the A/C on full blast. Unfortunate, because this Courtyard is awesome otherwise.

Nice place, nice rooms, good service. If you are a light sleeper like me, ask for a room closer to the front. There is a train that passes by all the time headed to N.Y. No whistle or anything but it running on the tracks was enough to wake me.

7

Property and room was nice and conveniently located to the main highway and walking distance to the whole foods shopping center making it a good transient option.

One little annoyance is the rooms may not be well sound insulated as you may think, there was maintenance work being done outside my room in the morning and you can easily hear conversations.

Another annoyance is that some rooms have a thermostat that doesn't work, if your room has a heating/cooling unit by the window, you must make your adjustments on the unit dirrctly, the thermostat is there only for decoration (or perhaps future support).

If you rely on toiletries in the bathroom, you may want to ask housekeeping for an extra bar of soap, there was one bar by the sink and none in the shower.

There was also no bath mat/floor towel provided, I had to lay a large bath towel on the floor.

8

The rooms were great. I didn't get room service or anything like that so I can't really comment on that. The bartender was enthusiastic and amazing. They have 24 hour access to a pool and work out room but the pool leaves something to be desired and they do not have a hottub. The hotel is walking distances from Coyote Flacco, a great Mexican restaurant and a bar called Mike's. There are also a few more places around. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Clean & up to date rooms. My room had a fridge and nice long desk. A lot of open space in the back of the room. Favorite part of the room was having a sliding glass back door to the courtyard. (our room was first floor). 1 mile away from the capitol :)

My wife and i stayed there mid of August 2015 for 3 days. It wasn't all that great but not as bad as some others we stayed at. No breakfast provided at all. No room service food order of any kind. House keeping was ok but kept forgetting extra towels all 3 days.

My wife and I stayed June 5th through 7th, 2015. On the way, driving through that section of Rye, with its industrial look, cheap strip malls, poor housing, and laundromats with fat women and their children on the sidewalk, I feared the worst. Fortunately, after all that, we found the Courtyard to be an oasis.
Outside, the grounds were beautifully kept. Unfortunately, parking is barely adequate. Two (unused) electric car recharging stations take up 3 of the best spaces, and unless you luck out, you will park 100 yards from the entrance. The door to the pool area doesn't close properly. The "keys," often a problem, worked perfectly. The hallway carpeting, with weird, African-style stripes, was not to my liking. The rooms had shortcomings. I prefer overhead lighting, but instead there were area lamps, converted to fluorescent, which threw out little light. The TV channels changed slowly. The dial on the iron was illegible. The waste baskets were too small. The bathroom was the worst part of the suite. The lighting was inadequate for putting on make-up. There was no carpet to step on when exiting the shower. The shower head wouldn't stay where it was directed. There was no shelf for shampoo, etc. There was no vent, generally required by building code. There was no heat lamp, or the equivalent, to take the chill off, coming out of the shower. Still, with its cleanliness, the TV, the fridge, the coffee maker, the iron and ironing board, a perfectly functioning heater/AC unit, and the wi-fi, the suite was adequate.
To make up for some shortcomings, there was an outstanding staff, from LaShanda, Sean and others at the front desk, the custodial staff and the maids. All were super friendly and helpful. They are all "keepers."
