Property's Green Action

We aim to reduce energy usage per hotel room. We implement water reduction methods that do not affect the guest experience. We support Fair Trade practices. We also increase procurement of food and beverage grown and produced locally and minimize the procurement of overharvested or endangered species of both plants and animals.

The kitchen garden is situated on an unused space on the hotel's 12th floor rooftop. It's an urban fruit and vegetable patch managed by the hotel's head chef Ari Nieminen and it supplies the hotel with fresh, seasonal produce such as melons, blueberries, tomatoes and herbs. There is also a Tudor style chicken coop with four Araucana chickens that produce unique pale blue eggs.

Loved the design detail and amazingly kind and thoughtful staff. Created flowers for a bridal party in their venue space down stairs. Thrilled to work with this company and would love to be back. Great attention to detail and amazing food. Great space for a party. Thank you, Sarah Saunders Studio.

Bar / lounge very chic, artsy. Both areas quite small, should be obvious but also very pricey. Bar list includes some unique handcrafted cocktails and they carry some hard to find spirits. Went for Friday after work and wasn’t too crowded. Staff very friendly and active.

The food was good but the dessert was even better!

Only downside is that the place can get really crowded making simple conversation with anyone difficult. The setup is cute and interesting.

I’ve been quite a few times for their afternoon tea and absolutely love it. The service is completely wonderful and attentive. Friendly and welcoming! The food is delicious as are their cocktails. We had the afternoon tea two times now and both times was a really delicious and unique experience. I highly recommend bringing guests from out of town or a special celebration there. Can’t wait to return again soon.

Only went downstairs for a professional event. The food was good, coffee above average. The small theatre is great for groups up to 100 or so.

$48 per person for what you see pictured.

The gentleman who served us is my favorite waiter of alltime. A very jolly man. He made us feel like royalty.

The tea was great but the food was simply not worth the price. Not even close. Not for $24 would i do this again. But the server was very lovely, our table was quiet and uninterrupted, and i had a great time.

Fancy, expensive, and not meant for normal people trying to catch up together.

Loved the intimate outdoor patio near the bar. It didn’t even feel like I was sitting in down town Manhattan and the food and drink were great. The champagne cocktails were very unique

Ahhh I love this hotel. I come here for decor inspiration all the time. It has a great theater space and amazing beautiful amenities full of artwork. It's charming, colorful and expensive looking. The coffee and tea from the cafe/bar is like $8 but for some reason you just feel like it's worth it when you look around to see where you are. Not the best place for freelancers as for some areas you must be a hotel guest to hang out in. And there are no outlets in the cafe/bar area.

My host and I spent 3 hours having a long conversation and lunch. Delightful. It could have had the temperature monitored better. Don't miss tea served in sterling silver.

This past weekend, my family and I decided to book a reservation for afternoon tea. Firstly, it was super easy to make a reservation, and the staff member was very accommodating when we had to change our date and time. Once there, the atmosphere was adorable. It had a very quirky "Alice in Wonderland" feel with an element of class. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The service was decent - our waiter did disappear at one point, though, and didn't mention that he was changing shifts. So, we were a little surprised when someone new came to the table to help us. Now onto the food - we all got the traditional tea menu, and it was delicious. All of the savory bites were seasoned to perfections - the steak and stilton pie was hands down my favorite. The desserts were good, but I was slightly underwhelmed. I found several of them dry and bland. The tea, however, was exceptional. I tried their "mythical creatures" blend and was saddened to know that I could not buy it to take it home. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we've already talked about going back.

My friend and I had aftern on tea here. Such a beautiful hotel. I felt a cross between London and Paris. I had traditional high tea. My friend had the gluten free high tea. The service could have been more attentive. The bathrooms are quite hidden. So if you cannot climb steps, not your place. The location is the best best part of this hotel.

The hotel itself was not visited. This review is for the dining area and the bar and lounge. I have to say everything was super chic, I would come here for a date. I came here for my friends graduation, and we bought champagne and cake, they were really helpful with our requests, and timing. There is a corkage and cutting fee (as expected) but it was worth it for us to see her smile.

We got a prix-fixe menu, and they will do this for you on request. The food was good overall, with attention to detail and presentation, but I wouldn't give it high points for the tastiest fare in town. The drinks were super tasty though, perhaps get a liquid dinner. Oh and sit outdoors, the garden area is gorgeous

Didn't stay at the hotel, but the Crosby Bar is a great place for cocktails. Extremely atmospheric lounge feel, high ceilings and chic decor, great craft and classic cocktails, and attentive service. Outdoor terrace looked inviting, though closed as we arrived (we were there after a later dinner).

The Crosby Street Hotel Bar is an oasis in the Soho/Spring Street area! Excellent cocktails and bar snacks, lovely high tea, and a great dinner and a movie deal on some Sunday nights with their film club. There are also two outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the nice weather.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

What is special about Crosby Street Hotel is the top-notch consistency that this hotel delivers. We never get tired of the great rooms, exceptional services, great food, and location. The rooms are NY-large and decorated in a hip, casual, elegant way - always spotlessly cleaned. The service is top-notch and consistently so. The hotel restaurant is a destination by itself, providing consistent great food for all meals, plus room-service. And the SOHO neighborhood is high-energy, high-end, full of fun destinations, and without the crowds of tourists that just rolled off the buses. Just be prepared to pay for all this.

I don't think I would choose to stay anywhere else in New York. We were so well taken care of and welcomed. Friendly, considerate staff! Susan not only accommodated my daughter's special diet but made her breakfast utterly delicious as well. a huge array of breakfast items were on display every morning and then, every evening great selections of wine, cheese and crackers for the guests to relax and chat before heading out to town. a little thing I forgot about are the snacks and drinks in the rooms. every vacation I've ever been on those items are overpriced, you can expect to pay $2.25 for a bottle of water but here the prices were lower than normal. I think that is a really sweet touch.

Met with friends and had dinner here Friday night. The food was fabulous. Cocktails were excellent! Fantastic service. Beautiful people dressed very stylishly. Place to see and be seen. Can't wait for warmer weather to sit outside. Will definitely stay at the hotel to experience it fully in the future.

Stayed here with my five girlfriends and we could not have picked a better spot. First, as an interior designer, I absolutely LOVED the decor and am hard to please. It was fun but elegant, but witty! The location was perfect for eating and shopping in SOHO. The rooms were very sizable for NY standards. Would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic service. Completely, absolutely loved our stay here. Upon entrance, we were greeted left and correct by the bell boy, the valet and the hotel agent. He then upgraded me to an ocean view - which I didn't even request - at any additional charge. After walking down the attractive hall to my room, where they place a fresh lavender sprig next to your hotel room number, I was immediately called by the operator to make sure everything was going fit in my room. The bed was wonderful comfy and the walls were thick enough that I didn't hear any hall way noise the entire night! I am looking forward to staying here again.

We have a very nice hotel staff, very helpful, but it's cobblestone street location is very narrow and almost impossible to get to, there are cars and trucks parked on both sides and sometimes you could be stuck there for up to 15 mins.

Cocktails were great. Table where we sat was in an odd place, sort of in the middle of everyone and near the door. The whole place smelled like industrial cleaner, we couldnt stay for more than a round. Will try again and see if it was just a bad afternoon.

I only attended a pre-screening in the hotel's theatre room, but was floored as I walked through the doors. The lobby is beautiful! There is a bar/restaurant attached that is modern and bright. The bar menu has an array of delicious things to nibble on. We were on a tight schedule so we sipped Moscato. We were greeted by water and a bowl of nuts. The bartenders were friendly. I would come here after work or just a casual night out and grab a bite. There is also a private parlor, that is very fancy. The theme is dogs which is neat, even to a cat person like myself. It's off of Prince St which is shopping heaven.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The price is super expensive around 750-800 a night. Rooms are super nice, clean and comfortable. Of course luxurious as well. The room I got had a huge window huge plus for me love to see the city view in the morning and evening. Overall great hotel to stay in.

I believe this is one of THE BEST hotels ive ever been to. Not only because the room was flawless every day or because the beds were like clouds...the personal attention i got was perfect. I had the misfortune of forgetting my computer on the taxi that took us to the airport they day we were leaving; all i had to do was call the hotel and they contacted the taxi driver and sent me my computer the very next day, for that i will be forever grateful. Thank you for everything!

Hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are very nice size and clean. The rooms all have oversize Jacuzzi tubs, without the jets, but still nice since they are large enough for those of us who may like the extra room. The neighborhood seemed a little bit dumpy but I never felt threatened or afraid. The parking lot is fenced in but not locked up or closed in and well lit. It is away from the main stream of New York, but close enough that you can easily get there in a taxi. For those that are unfamiliar with taxi's, chicago is one of the cheapest places to use a taxi. I took the taxi from the Hotel to a restaurant on the north end for under $12. You just don't find that anywhere. Did I mention that the parking at the hotel is free as well. If you have a large vehicle they do have some street parking behind the hotel. With the hotel on State street you can easily catch a metro bus as well to New York, quite frequently.

One of the loveliest hotels in town: hip, neo-baroque setting in the heart of the city. It's tucked away in a quiet street in SoHo so you won't be bothered the noise but will be able to walk conveniently anywhere worth going downtown. It's a great spot for brunch or afternoon tea: if you're looking for a young, fun, elegant place, look no further. This is as good as it gets.
