The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Paris. It is right in front of the subway that works spectacularly. The breakfast room is spacious and clean and the employees are friendly!

Large hotel nicely located in Place de Republique. Very good for business meetings as well as vacationing travelers. The staff is very nice and friendly. The bar area can be fun and lively at times. Breakfast offers a nice selection. The rooms are clean and a nice size.

A great hotel with a few issues. Bathroom should have an area for soap and shampoo. It's not a good idea to have these items on the floor. Service was good by staff, but with limited English Spanish we are unable to communicate. Location was great next to the metros.
Breakfast was great but again if chef would understand a simple well cooked eggs - the food would taste so much better.

This hotel is incredible! We walked from 08:30 till 14:00 so we wanted to rest at the hotel. Our room wasn't clean yet but the service must have noticed that because when we walked outside they started to tidy up our room. At the next day we were exhausted again but the service was already finished when we came back at 13:30. Crowne Plaza will see me again ;)

I was so unhappy with this hotel. It clearly is NOT a 4 star hotel. I'd give it a 2. The bathroom is outdated - you can barely stand in the shower tub. The carpet is old and dingy in the room and the hallways. The mattress was bigger than the box spring so i felt like i was going to fall over. The TV did not work. Mice running across the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was included so that was nice but not the greatest.

7

A fairly nice hotel. Their computer room sucks so don’t try to print your boarding passes have the staff at the desk do it. Good metro stop. Excellent breakfast and lunch places. Staff is friendly. Rooms clean and quiet. The French can’t make a decent Martini. As you can see I asked for dry, shaken with olives and got a vermouth soaked lemon!

When you arrived in the hall, it all looks modern, but this can not be said of the standard rooms. Standard rooms are not all the same size. My colleague's room had a lower sealing and less space. Street side windows are not fully sound proof. We had the luck of just arriving when there was a concert.

Not the cleanest hotel, long black hair in the shower and stained carpet. I had a room on the street side and got wake up at 3am, very noisy. Staff friendly and great location.

Stayed there for 2 nights. The building is something you wanna take photos of but the interior definitely needs more work. The location is great, metro stops just out the door. Friendly stuff, they willingly provided brochures and tips for Paris. 2/5 stars because of this dirty carpet on the floor that makes you feel you are in an old ship and the interior which definitely lacks the glamour of a 4 star hotel.

5

The location and view is very good but not a lot else is commendable. Some of the staff did not understand English and the hotel served many English-speaking tourists. The minibar didn’t work, and it wasn’t replaced until the next day. The replacement had layers upon layers of dust and grub buildup on it, which is very unhygienic. The price was also expensive: €800 for four people in one room staying three nights without breakfast.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can see them on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Huge palace with below average utilities. The staff was GREAT but due to lack of utilities they were not able to provide proper service. The hotel was not worth the money paid.
1. We tried reservation 15 times for 15 days but still were given far away rooms when we reached.
2. They changed rooms but we were given stinking rooms. And we tried to check-in other rooms but it didn't work coz those were stinking too.
3. Hotel has only 4 small elevators in the centre of the building, so have to walk a lot for other rooms.

But again, all the staff were amazing and provided hands on services.

The food (Salmon and chicken) was superb. Cooked to perfection. Wait staff very attentive. It's the kind of meal you can expect in the USA, with a French flair. The cost was moderate compared to paris standards. As you can tell, the wife & I enjoyed it very much. Taste, cost, & waiter, 5☆ I'm a happy camper.

Got a great deal on room rate. However eating and drinking on the premises remains expensive. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Room was nice with good air conditioning. Which was greatly appreciated. Only one point was that the on suite bathroom was a bit tired with a cracked tile. Broken bath panel and a shower head that could not be positioned well as it was too slack.

Just stayed there for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and spacious, breakfast maybe a little too generic, too American, but with a large choice including omelette station. Location is good, 30 min walk to Notre Dame and 4 metro lines just outside the building. The only little downside maybe was the club lounge: While it was well equipped with cool soft drinks (plus beer), we felt it lacked attention by the staff, tables were often not cleaned up. '"Happy hour" with snacks and wine did no impress. We will come back, if the rates are ok.

Decent priced rooms with high are larger than you average room in the Marais with a massive bathroom but not particularly cosy and everything else there costs an arm and a leg 6 euro for a small bottle of water to 20 euro for a really ordinary burger. Alcohol was super expensive. At the end of the stay it wasn't that reasonably priced at all.

I review this establishment not as a guest but a visitor. The concierge area is not very impressive. Everything seems clean. Service is good. The cafe / bar area is comfortable but expect to pay 6 euros for a cappuccino which I find outrageous. There is nothing else I can say.

Paris is one of the most expensive cities in the world and being a tourist on budget -getting a nice, clean within budget and accessible hotel is a toll order.

I came across Crowne Plaza when I did my research for the criteria that I set above. I stayed for 4 nights In their deluxe room and was very delighted that It has a balcony overlooking the Place de la Republique. The rooms are small but it got all that you will need - a small fridge, a microwave, fast internet connection, comfortable bed, cable TV and a clean bathroom. The location is also ideal as it has direct access to Paris' train system.

Maybe it is cultural but I did not find the hotel staffs accommodating and helpful - a bit disappointed with how they handled my check in and check out, feels very transactional.

Overall, I am rating this hotel as "good"and will recommend for you to spend your Paris vacation in this property.

I loved this hotel. The family room is spacious and comfortable, great value for a family of 4 with 2 small kids. The breakfast buffet was tasty and varied, a good start to a busy day of sightseeing. The location is excellent, with buses and a metro station right on the doorstep and plenty of shops and restaurants on the place de la république and surrounding roads. All in all, a great find and a better alternative to the overpriced hotels in the 8th arrondissement.

We stayed here for 3 days at the end of our trip in June 2013...staff generally nice and helpful...rooms nice and clean...good breakfasy buffet...one night we ate dinner at restaurant without a reservation...staff and food was fabulous...only problem..we asked for a wake up call for the morning we were leaving and didn't get it...put us way behind and we almost missed our ride to the airport...desk clerk could have cared less...not an apology...more like a dismissal..."oh well..you are leaving anyway..who cares"...they gave us a bagged breakfast which we couldn't take into the airport so we gave it to the van driver.

Was happy staying here. April 2013 was here with wife. Was nice. Internet WiFi from hotel I recall was unbearably slow. Since I had an unlocked Nexus 4 phone at the time I went to the Orange store across the street. I paid €10 for a SIM card prepaid, popped out my T-Mobile Sim, in went Orange Sim and I was set. 18 Mbps down plus my built-in hotspot so sweet. I was on Facebook surfing the web and calling the states with GrooveIP app to my hearts content. It was like I never left home lol.

Anyway back to hotel, it's right by the French subway Metro so that took me to pretty much anywhere we needed. Very good location. Rooms were clean too
