I really enjoyed staying here. The staff helped me as much as possible. I stayed for a four day conference. The convention center was a little too much for my budget so I stayed within a 10 minute walking distance which was nice and quiet and safe. I bought food at Trader Joe’s nearby and cooked it in my microwave

Overall satisfied with this hotel. The room was clean, blankets and towels were also clean. Breakfast was great. I really enjoyed the free drinks and snacks in the evening.
Cons: Wifi was horrible... it worked, but was very slow most of the time. My room was never warm enough to be comfortable. The thermostat maxes out at 70-something, but there's no way it was over 70 deg in my room.

Nice breakfast with made to order omelette station. Delicious! Large comfortable rooms with close off options to the living room for those who want to sleep in. Television in both rooms. Nice kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Managers reception with free cocktails from 5:30-7:30 and nice array of snacks including fresh vegetables. Staff were all polite and professional. I would stay again!

This was a very clean and modern hotel. The best customer service. They were so helpful and welcoming. Free breakfast buffet in the morning. Free drinks at happy hour!. Real nice experience.

Large hotel with 7 stories. We did a weekend trip to Chicago for some shopping and stayed the night here. They have free drinks at happy hour from 530-730. I tried to buy some milk at the front desk for my 1 year old and the receptionist just had another worker fill up my sippy cup for free. The rooms are great, especially if you have kids.

The staff at the embassy has been fantastic! I have a service dog. And in today's world, that often seems to create drama. I appreciate the professionalism that the hotel dealt with my circumstance of a guest requiring me to move because she was allergic to my dog. I am very accommodating and understanding of people's allergies, fears, and religious beliefs surrounding dogs. But once in awhile, it's a circumstance where I can't accommodate. The staff was professional and empathetic in dealing with the situation. a situation which is not an everyday occurrence I'm sure.

Very nice place. Tge bathroom in our room was very small. Like normal fold out bed was not good at all. They had snack food for the guest witch was nice. Breakfast was very good best I've had in all my hotel stays. It was a very nice open inviting place.

The Ambiance at this hotel is a 0. I'm more prefer to go to the one in Oakbrook. When you walk in your just relaxed. There are plants and water and fish. The bar is also nice. And they actually have a little restaurant there where you can sit and eat

This location is nice. But the rooms are too expensive for the management/cleanliness. Upon entering it's decent. I like the whole community feel but there were plates and other dirty dishes outside of random doors all the way into the next day. The room was neat the toilet was dirty and when you run the shower the bathtub feels up faster than the water let's out. The fan didn't work at all so when you showered it made the whole bathroom sweat. We had to shower with the door open. The wetbar sink was stopped up as well. The bed has springs and was decent if your tired. The pool and hot tub was full of chlorine. Everything just felt gross. The food was disgusting. Overall for $200 I don't think this room was worth it at all.

Great hotel service. Great breakfast. Nice open space in the middle like other Embassy Suites. Decent quality beds. Great towels. Decent tech/renovations.

Weak shampoo, conditioner, soap (standard across all of Hilton). Very weak shower (we were on top floor (7th floor)).

Nicely remodeled hotel, definitely a step up from my last visit a year ago. Staff was extremely friendly from start to finish. Breakfast was good as always at an Embassy. The elevators have got to go though. Slowest I have ever been on.

Multi year renovation still hasn't been completed. Some of the basics missed but it's looking good.

Still need to work out the ACs, hot water issues, finish painting and update the switch plates, outlets and switches. For the amount of money spent, those are minimum but will definitely finish it off.

Pretty decent hotel that is in need of some work. The wifi is so spotty as to almost be unusable. Also the rooms are starting to look a bit beat up with wear showing in a number of places. The staff is the shining star. While there is some lack of attention to detail, the staff is extremely friendly and eager to please. Also the breakfast is excellent with variety.

Your typical Embassy Suites. It's been remodeled inside in common areas, but rooms are still underway in renovation cycle. Large rooms compared to most hotels.

The location is excellent, near freeways and local shops and restaurants.

Biggest issue, looks like a dump from outside. Definitely needs the exterior renovated to match the interior.

The rooms looked great. They had coffee (which I love) but ran out of creamer too soon. Their breakfast was amazing other than the eggs which were too liquidated, but it was still solid (they were odd, but somewhat tasty)

Hotel amenities were good. Breakfast and evening reception was a great value! Hotel could be updated some and cleaner in places - floors, doors, elevators, etc. Also, the pool was very cold and small, but served the purpose we needed. Overall, I would likely stay there again.

Great experience, hotel was currently under renovations however I could not fault them for doing upgrades like most unreasonable people writing reviews. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. To put the icing on the cake the breakfast (Awesome) was free and the hotel even had a free happy hour! I would definitely stay here again. There were no pillow on the pull out couch but all I had to do is call down for some and they were there in 5 min. Room service was super fast too! Nothing but positives. The only negative was it is tough to find the entrance to this hotel but that was mostly due to GPS complications and the entrance is in a dark location!

Nice hotel... when it gets finished. Lots of areas under construction when we visited. Very nice commons area, as we came as a group and needed an area large enough to congregate. Breakfast was more than adequate with a nice made to order touch.

I recently stayed here again after a number of years. The interior has been updated recently, giving the place a fresh feel. The staff is accomindating and professional. The complimentary happy hour was a little underwhelming but replenished quickly. The breakfast buffet has a nice variety, but it is a breakfast buffet.

Wonderful staff, clean & spacious rooms! Close to everything. Complimentary breakfast is great, we got omelets made right in front of us, lots of options. Plenty of parking. My son loved "cocktail hour", they bring out popcorn machine and have snacks. The hotel was under renovations yet our stay was undisturbed by any of it. We were worried about noise from others bc rooms face out to common area, but the room was quiet! Great stay overall.

I feel I should be up front and say I gave this place of 5 Stars not because it was insanely good but because they didn't do anything wrong and they deserve a five stars for quality. nothing really stood out at the location that being positive or negative. The beds were clean the staff was pleasant and easy to work with. The check-in was a little bit long but nothing major I've seen far worse in general. if you were looking for somewhere safe and pleasant to stay this is definitely the place for you. They have a fairly good breakfast compared to some and they have the standard scrambled eggs sausage bacon pancakes very nice but I still felt like there was something just normal about it. this could be I just travel too much of late as I said I have nothing negative really to say, it was a very good stay with very good service.

Easy to find and located close to mall. We had a suite that was nice and roomy to stay in. Inside of hotel was beautiful and we really liked the glass elevators. Free drinks and snacks for happy hour was a nice touch. The breakfast to order was one of the better ones we have ever had. The only negatives were they ran out of towels for pool and our toilet paper was not fully supplied and we had to ask for more. Overall experience was good I would stay again.

We recently made a last-minute decision to go to Chicago for a weekend. A few years ago we spent time at the Embassy Suites and just loved it.

We were excited to find a good deal through TripAdvisor for $79 a night. It's a great deal because the breakfast are amazing and really you can eat enough in order to skip lunch and save some money.

It's located in the heart of a lot of great shopping in Schaumburg and close to freeways to get anywhere you need to go.

The suite was clean and it's nice to have two separate rooms in case you need to split up.

It was a full house but breakfast went smoothly & quickly. There was a variety between Saturday & Sunday, so we were quite happy.

We will always go to Trip Advisor to look for deals for Embassy Suites.

Very nice hotel close to Woodfield Mall and Legoland. Only wish I knew ahead of time that the hotel was being renovated. But overall, It was a nice stay. Rooms are immaculate and spacious especially traveling with two children. My son loved the pool and the extended hours. Breakfast was great both mornings we were there and there was a lot to choose from. Employees were very pleasant and were prompt with anything that we needed.

Excellent experience. Competent and friendly staff. Provided shuttle service to convention center whenever needed and with a smile. Great complimentary breakfast and happy hour with open bar. Stayed during a competition at convention center where many dancers had to leave before the hotel's normal breakfast hours--so they opened the full breakfast early for us. Had friends in nearby hotels who did extend the breakfast hours for their patrons. Two big TV's in every suite with high definition channels. Recently renovated rooms, very pleasant and clean. Noise buffering in rooms was also top notch. Hot breakfast choices extensive: Stuffed pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, Denver Omelette, patty sausage, link sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, potatoes.

7

Nice staff, very friendly especially at the front desk. The rooms are typically Emabssy Suites style; 2 room Suite. Very you clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a little tight but I was traveling alone on business so it was fine. The normal cook to order breakfast wasn't available as there was remodeling under way - the breakfast buffet had good variety but just wasn't the same. The manager reception was in the bar area so was a bit awkward getting drinks.

The staff was helpful in booking process, helping to overcome the quirks caused by the online booking system. All items I'd requested to be in the room -- games for kids, a crib and extra towels -- were there on arrival. The front desk was nice enough, if not warm, during check-in. The place is undergoing construction, but it didn't affect us. They weren't working on weekends so we got to sleep in. The pool was still accessible. Breakfast was fine, except any bread-like item (pancakes, biscuits, French toast, English muffins, which were cold and mealy). Lines were long and juice, bacon or donuts were not quickly replaced. Overall, it was fine, but get a discount if going while under construction.

Even though the place was under renovations, the place was very enjoyable. I normally speak lowly about breakfasts, but this was the best ,continental breakfast I've ever had. I was here for a work meeting. The lunch was simple but delicious. The room was easy to find because of their signage in the lobby. They were doing construction on a room across the hall so we did hear construction noises, briefly. It's a nice venue.

No real complaints. Came for a vendor conference. Room was clean, king bed was very comfortable, nice hot water in the shower. Appliances all worked although the refrigerator kept freezing my water and drinks even though there's no freezer section. Happy hour was nice also with free drinks and appetizers.

A disappointment

While I'm sure Embassy Suites is a nice place to stay most of the time...

Due to bring under construction, they had all of their 4 elevators occupied most of the time. We stayed one the 4th floor and had to walk the stairs with two little toddlers.

They also are super loud, Jack-hammering, etc even starting their noisy work during the complimentary breakfast. The maid service had ear plugs; too bad they didn't offer them to guests as well. The hotel didn't seem to have many guests while we were there. They really should have closed during this time as a courtesy to those wanting to book a 'vacation'. Sigh...

Our room seemed recently renovated due to the new furniture. But there were several issues with things not done well and being in need of more privacy. See pictures... Neither door went all the way to the floor, (both my kids could for their arm underneath) although the bedroom door was worse than the hallway door. Thank God! 😟 There was quite a bit of cracked and peeling ceiling for a room that was 'completed'.

Business as usual:
We requested towels 3 times before receiving any. (We didn't have enough for our family) And only received one of the three complimentary items that we selected for our room during our online reservation.

This is my 6th trip to this facility. I understood before I arrived that the hotel was under construction and that has not been a problem. The problem has come with the manager's cocktail hour and the dinner buffet. Tonight, the buffet is set up in front of the bar. The line for drinks is right in front of the buffet. The people trying to get dinner can't get there. Why was the buffet set up to interfere with bar service? Now, on to the wine selection for the manager's cocktail hour. Thursday night there was Chardonnay. Friday night there was no chardonnay, tonight, Saturday night there is only Cabernet Sauvignon and White Zinfandel. There are several others on the menu, but not available. What is going on? I will definitely look at other options next time.

This place is going to be amazing, when we stayed they were under construction...and they are redoing EVERYTHING. The rooms easily meet my expectations of an Embassy, and the overall interior had a surprisingly unique and upscale feel.

DURING construction they still managed a High quality breakfast experience which is one of the draws for my family of 6.

We stayed at this property for four days and absolutely enjoyed our entire stay!!! All of the employees were extremely nice and were available for anything we may have needed! One gentleman in particular that worked at the restaurant inside the hotel was super nice, I believe his name was Ernie. Very very nice gentleman. Excellent with customers!
The breakfast was amazing. We also enjoyed the happy hour they have for guests every evening. The only reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the construction that they have going on, other than that I would've given 5!!

This hotel is currently being renovated, I don't like being blind sided after booking. This entire hotel is being MAJORLY renovated and doesn't give you the glamorous feel like the other Embassy suites we have stayed at. I understand the renovation and glad they are doing it but, maybe not do the entire hotel all at once. Our room was dusty, musty and just felt dirty. The plaster was cracked and falling off the ceiling in the bedroom, our room should not be used. Staff was friendly and inviting, that was nice. We have stayed at lots of Embassy Suites and will continue to do so, just a little heads up would have been nice.

The suite was smaller than represented. I was assured that it was the correct room, but the square footage listed online did not line up with the size of the actual suite. I paid for a suite for 6 adults, it had a table with seating for 3. The beds were oversize twins, and the sofa bed was larger than the other two. The room itself was not ready when I received the key, housekeeping had only done some of the cleaning. The refrigerator was missing a door rack, making it unusable. The sofa was stained, as were the chairs at the dining table. Pros: rooms were fairly noise proof. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the Commons was very nicely done and pleasant to visit. They have swim times from 10pm-12 which are adults only.

It's hard to go wrong with friendly staff and a free cocktail hour and made-to-order breakfast. The rooms are a bit dated and the layout is a little clunky, but they have begun renovating the entire space and it should be even better when they're done.

My family has been staying at this hotel every year for over a decade. The hotel is frequently renovated to stay modern. They always have excellent services including clean rooms, friendly staff, and one of the best complimentary breakfasts I've had at an Embassy Suites. The hotel is in the process of renovating the lobby and rooms, but that didn't have an impact on my stay.

There was construction going on inside of the hotel, so I think there was a discount for having to deal with all the noise. Always hot water in the shower, but the typical awful shampoo and conditioner. The free drinks in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning were great and tasty.

Nice location. There are many restaurants and retail stores.
Since this is a suite, there are two rooms (one bedroom and living room) which are separated by the door. Each room has it's own TV and table. In the living room area, there are a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, sink with faucet and sofa bed. We enjoyed complimentary Evening Reception providing some snack, beer, wine and juice. Complimentary breakfasts were great. We would come back after remodeling they just started. One more thing. In the hotel (without leaving the room), there is a PokeStop and many Pokémon kept showing up.

Really nice 2 room suite. Maintenance responded quickly to even our small request to WD-40 the squeaky doors (gotta keep the baby asleep!). LOVED the made to order breakfast every morning! Pool was small but worked well for our young kids and it wasn't ever too busy. Will stay again when in the area.

Breakfast and evening reception was green. Rooms were clean and spacious. I partixularly like the layout - alowinh some space for living/dining room which is separated from the bedroom itself. My daughter and company enjoyed the pool. Staff were courteous and nice. Overall location and value was great.

This is my first visit to this Embassy. They serve the classic ES breakfast, but the coffee is disappointing as it's machine made.

I also recommend using the elevators on the north side as the ones on the south side are very noisy and someone got stuck in one during my visit.

This place was awesome! I highly recommend it. The staff was great! The only complaint is the hot tube wasn't very hot and the jets were weak!

I went a 3 day meeting there. All the meals were hot and tasty. Suites were nice. The service was good. The breakfast was quick and very good.

This hotel has a beautiful interior, amazing breakfast, and a great New orleans style resturant! Only downside is that the rooms have a little bit of an outdated look, but great upkeep!
