ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Breakfast in a bag was gross though.

Surprisingly good. Bed was comfortable, even for being a big guy. Room could've been better lit, but overall, good value for the price. Breakfast was also nice. The fountain in the middle was a good feature and was calming. Good workout room as well. DBs go higher than most hotel gyms.

The hotel is service friendly and many opportunities have been supportive such as exhibitions. The rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious. The cleanliness and the support is great, and the staff are top rated! I came to support them and had an amazing time at the Embassy Suites!

Convenient location and professional and friendly staff make this a great hotel for the business traveler. The rooms also seemed much larger than other Embassy Suites I have recently stayed in. There seemed to be plenty of vactioning families there as well. It's close enough to Disney and other attractions, but just far enough away to not pay the premium prices in Anaheim.

We stayed in a 2 queen suite with a futon. It was nice and spacious. We especially liked the table in the living room area. The bathroom is only accessible though the bedroom which was the only downside. The morning breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options.

The parking was underground which is different. However the view and the room were amazing and surely something to experience. Everything is clean and eye popping like the fountain in the lobby. Would visit again

We spent 10 nights in Brea Embassy Suites and enjoyed every minute of it. It was convenient for our needs. It's about 15 minutes to Disneyland with out the crowds. A hour for Universal Studios, and 35 minutes to the beach. The staff was wonderful, and very helpful. And a thank you to Rosa for breakfast every morning.

Nothing like planning on checking in late, and getting a call that there was a "room emergency" then being told that my room was not going to be available. I was told it was because I wasn't checked in already, but I had attempted to do so via the Hilton App and had directions (days prior) to go to the counter to complete the check in. I had guaranteed late night check-in.

I was told that their policy was to move me to a different hotel, or find my own and they would reimburse the stay. This was offered, to me however I told them I'd be showing up since I was traveling with someone else who had a reservation of their own and was already en route. When I arrived they managed to find me a room - by bumping someone else's reservation at close to midnight.

I didn't feel like effort was made to minimize the inconvenience, and that my room being cancelled was just as arbitrary as the person who was bumped to give me a room. After contacting their corporate help line (and subsequently the hotel manager) they only reiterated their reimbursement policy.

The room was a nice room, the facility was well maintained, and the amenities were fine. The 2 stars is completely due to the issues regarding my reservation, and followup conversation. This posting was made after reaching out to their management.

This is an excellent Embassy Suites hotel. When you walk in, it really feels like a nice hotel. The food was good, but since it was a buffet, the food was good "crowd" food. The coffee station for our event was excellent. They had cinnamon sticks, and other condiments for coffee that went above your average coffee bar.

I came to this hotel visiting from Michigan, where a friend was having his birthday party. The lobby and the hallways were beautiful and clean, and the rooms were nice and spacious. The whole place looked and smelled fantastic and I definitely think it's worth the price that was paid for it.

The Embassy Suite in Brea CA is a great property. The lobby was open and inviting and modern. The rooms were nice, clean, and updated. The property offers Digital Key which is the best. Using mobile check in and Digital Key allows you to check in and go directly to your room without stopping/waiting to get your room key from the front desk I'd recommend the property to everyone

There's nothing wrong with this hotel. I liked having the suite with an outer office/living room. It made team collaboration easy. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the atrium is a lovely space. There's a heated outdoor pool and a nearby running trail. It's just not in a location that appeals to me. I was there for work, and it was perfect. However, my room overlooked the back of a mall, it was across from another mall, and I'm just not a mall person.

I went to the Embassy Suits for a company event and they catered the event quite well. The servers would pick up the plates when we had a break as to not interrupt. For lunch they offered may choices of food from Chinese cuisine to Italian, Mexican, American, salad bar, etc. I wasn't early enough to get breakfast but they had plenty of coffee, tea, and pastries available when I arrived.

Place is dated but better than other Embassy suites in the area. Breakfast food items needs to be increased i.e. more pastry selections as well as cereal, fruit and waffle maker. Now the bacon has to be dispensed at the omelet order side. Use to have self serve bacon and ham. Not anymore and no more ham. Managers reception in the pm used to have hot food. Line is long for drinks because only 1 bartender. Put more bartenders. Improve these areas and increase your food budget instead of cutting it all the time.
Room rates keep going up but your Breakfast and managers reception keeps going downhill.

Clean hotel with well- disposed and helpful staff. Free parking. Don’t miss - there is fitness and water pool and of course “happy hours” in the bar. Convenient place to stay for business and personal day off around LA. Breakfast is the same each day - that is why I put 4 star

Very nice hotel for business travel. Conveniently located right next to a mall and directly across the street from a Target and several decent restaurants. The facilitates were clean and staff friendly. The fitness center is not lavish but if more than adequate, pool area looks nice but was too cold to use during my stay.

Nice. Attended an awards luncheon here. The parking is free, which is a BIG bonus! Hard to find that at any hotel these days. The service was pretty good as well. The front desk attendants were on the spot as soon as I steeped off the elevator to greet me and direct me to the event that I was there to attend. Overall I would recommend it if your looking for a nice hotel in Brea California

What a great hotel. Close to shopping and multiple restaurants. Hotel is very clean and the staff was excellent. Food was delicious, including breakfast. This was my first time staying at this hotel and I was pretty happy. The hotel itself was pretty nice looking with a well kept interior and good free breakfast. The room was a nice spacious two room design that was well kept. Another bonus was that the hotel wifi seemed to be pretty good.

The venue is kept very clean. I saw hotel staff cleaning non stop which is such a delight. The biggest downside are the prices for the food. I came for a business event, and they were having a breakfast buffet. For hotel guests it was complimentary but I was an outsider. I asked for the price and it was 20$. I think this is over priced considering this is the middle of town location, and they are surrounded by competition. I decided to go across the street and for $6.99 I had a full meal. The sad part is when I came back they were throwing food away while cleaning up. If they charmed even $10 I would have paid that and the provably would attract more people and mane more money. The rest of the hotel for the day was very pleasant and well maintained. I think this is a great place to meet for business. I encourage others to do the same.

Clean hotel that hosted Christmas event for one of the organizations I am part of. Multiple concierge desks. One thing I didn't like was the rude half Asian laundry boy who used the elevator at the same time the hotel guests and my organization members were going down. He should've excused himself or used a different elevator. Did not know what he was doing. It wasn't even that busy that week and I thought the hotel staff could've been more polite. Other than that, it was a great location next to Disneyland area. Provided free breakfast.

Check in was fast with friendly service, managers happy hour is a great with complimentary beer, wine & well drinks, rooms were nice too. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because I pulled 2 pieces of hair out of my breakfast (scrambled eggs). Totally grossed me out.

High floor and "penthouse" suites located on the upper four corners. Comfortable beds and find 2 elevators and on the east/west sides, pool is located on the Southwest corner.

Quality of housekeeping, breakfast and the pool area is above mediocrity. Centrally located and within walking distance of the Brea Mall. Try the on-site restaurant and sports bar.

Coffee machine button needs to pressed continually for dispensation of warm brown coffee fuel."Cooked to order" breakfast was free. Penthouse rooms (4 corners) offer views to Mt. Wilson.

This hotel is fantastic!! Every thing you need is within the hotel or walking distance. The staff are out of sight!!
When you walk through the front door it's breathtaking! The happy hours are so much fun. The breakfast is Sooo good. The waitstaff are friendly and helpful.
The only one critic I have and that's the janitorial staff. I asked the maid to come back because we were still getting dressed. When she 'finally' came back, my room still had a foul stench...it was my leftover take out from the night before still in the trash bins. She did not clean the bathroom, nor placed clean linens on the bed! I will make a formal complaint!

I went there to attend a company seminar. The parking is underground. The entire place looks very clean. The dining area is very nice. It was my favorite spot in the entire hotel. The staff were pleasant. They lost a star because of their buffet lunch. It was $15 for mix green salad, mixed veggies, bow tie pasta, chicken Alfredo pasta, bread roll, and a drink. Not worth $15..maybe $10. If it is $15 please provide more variety.

The location was great it was close to the Nixon museum where I had to attend a friend's wedding. The hotel was fully booked the night before my stay, but I was able to check in early after calling early the morning of my night's stay. I loved that the hotel had a great sized breakfast and they even had free drinks in the bar from 530pm till 730pm but both rooms my co-workers and I had smelled like a smokers room and then they tried washing it down and it was still wet. I did like that the hotel was easy walking distance to the mall and several restaurants too. Made it easy.

It was our second time using Embassy Suites for an event. The catering services manager is very approachable, easy to talk to, and friendly. Didn't stay, just visiting, but they were under renovations. I was here previously before renovations and this is definitely an updated look. It was outdated beforehand. The elevators are still in need of updates but so far so good. Last time I was here for a conference and rooms were definitely dated. Now, it looks pretty good. Still under renovations so I can't give a good review.

One of our destinations was Disneyland and the location of this hotel was not too far, but with Southern California traffic, it can take you up to 30 min. to get there. Other than that, the service was great, the rooms were comfortable and affordable, clean bathrooms, gym had enough equipment for a complete workout, in-room dining had a decent selection, always a plus that there is a breakfast buffet in the morning with no additional cost plus an evening reception with free snacks and drinks. Parking is also free and easily accessible. WiFi runs and connects smoothly unlike most hotels.

You get a lot for a good price. The breakfast was better than expected. The spa and heated pool were very nice. They are both outdoors and they are in a secluded area. Great location in Brea. You're approximately a mile from downtown Brea, the mall, and many restaurants on Imperial Highway. Clean and spacious. If you're visiting Brea on a long business trip, this place is highly recommended. Living space is comfy and cozy, fridge is good sized, and bathtubs are large. Breakfast is delicious! I love the Embassy Suites by Hilton Brea - North. It makes a wonderful getaway from home for just a day or a weekend. It's a wonderful way to be pampered and just disengage from everything. The hotel is under construction as of this post and I can certainly understand what that means in the long run.... I do have an issue with the inconsistencies that sometimes comes with a chain hotels. the happy hour is very different from the embassy suites in San Diego next to the pier and this place has not placed a premium on customer service or support. I was greeted with no valet service and loaded my own bell cart. The happy hour menu consists of pretzels and chips and fruit and that would be completely understandable if i didn't get a entirely different assortment of hot and cold selections from my previous visit. And it would be nice to have wifi included in the price at some point

The hotel is located right next to the Brea mall, so that is a plus. The area feels safe. There were many workers around doing various jobs, so everything was very organized. Overall, the experience was delightful and I would return there again.

My friends and I regularly come to this hotel to shoot pool and have drinks. They have well maintained tables and a very upscale atmosphere. We had a couple beers and played for about 3 hours. The moment you walked into the hotel, you were immediately impressed by the Egyptian decor that was all around the hotel lobby. However, that first impression didn't last very long due to the much needed renovations that the rooms required. You were immediately able to tell that the hotel was in the middle of a renovation period and this caused some of the elevators to be out of service, causing delays and frustrated customers. There is plenty to do in the area, since the hotel is located in the middle of the Brea Mall and has several things to do in the area.

Windsor Capital Group Managed Property.

I thought the grounds of this property were well maintained and the staff was cheerful when I arrived. I thought there was some greenhouse effect going on in the inside of the hotel. As you were eating dinner it felt like there was no AC and you end up sticking to your chair from all the sweat.
Location of the hotel is great with a Target and other dinning options right across the street.

Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to enjoy a good night's sleep! Both beds in my room were frumpy. The AC quit working around midnight. I woke up in a sweat. Several others in our group had the same experience so it wasn't just my room. Then mysteriously the AC restarted around 6am... What's up with that? Good breakfast though... but that's always the case at ESuites. Hope this gets fixed!

This is one of the best Embassy Suites hotels in OC. The rooms are nice, breakfast is good, drinks are even better. You couldn't ask for more...except free Wi-Fi. Service is good at this hotel too. If you ask for something they bring it right up. That cannot be said for other hotels in this price range in CA. Close to shopping, eating, cool stuff. No parking charge either. Quiet location too. Can get a good night's sleep!
