ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

I coordinated a 50-100 person meeting in this hotel on relatively short notice in spring 2018. They were extremely accommodating, especially given how little time we gave them. Large meeting hall and breakout rooms were available and got the job done.

The one mark against them is that our a/v equipment seemed to overwhelm their electrical system -- several projectors, two large amplifiers, wireless microphones -- half of the meeting hall experienced intermittently flickering lights and the amplifier cutting in and out. The meeting spaces may be slightly out of date for your needs if you are planning to deploy similar or more equipment.

Probably not great for a rock concert. Probably just fine for typical medium sized business or training meetings. If you have the time/means to check whether your AV setup can be supported in advance of booking, I recommend it.

Beautiful location. That’s where the positives end for this trip. I’m sure during a regular stay my experience would have been better. However, there were several family reunions taking place at this location when we stayed. On one late night, several guests decided to have a pool party. No big deal, except it was 1 AM and they had a large speaker system which shook our windows. We called down tot he front desk on three separate occasions. Each time someone was supposed to come and shut down the party. Didn’t happen.

If I could leave six stars I would. Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. I was born and raised in Atlanta, but just last night had my first experience staying at the Embassy Suites in Buckhead, and it is a must stay if you're visiting Atlanta.

This hotel is very clean, and the room was big and reasonably priced. There were plenty of choices for different room styles as this hotel is HUGE! I believe this is the kind of place that has something for everyone's budget.

Every single employee I've come in contact with has been pleasant and gone above and beyond to accommodate me, my wife and my child. Each and every detail was perfect in my opinion. Even when we ordered room service, each and every fry that came with my burger was crisp and fresh. As someone who hates soggy fries, I don't think I've ever had an order of fries that was this fresh.

All in all, this location was absolutely perfect for our needs. We will definitely stay here on future trips to Atlanta. In a world seemingly full of sub-par service, it's refreshing to know that there are establishments like this one where your money is earned and not just taken from you. Our stay was worth every penny.

I was traveling for work and this is where the company put me up to stay while in the Atlanta area. I didn't do valet because self parking was a breeze although $28 a night is quite a bit but it is what it is. The gentleman at the front desk was from Jamaica and I wish I could remember his name but he was very friendly and helpful! I liked the openness of the hotel itself but the rooms were kind of worn but clean. The bed slept like a dream and the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. I will have no problem coming back here to stay again!

I stayed here one night for a business trip and was overall very happy with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly. There is a cocktail hour in the evening with a light snack and made to order breakfast which is great. I liked how spacious the rooms are but the bathrooms could definitely use some remodeling. There was a loud, high pitched noise, coming from the faucet my entire shower. Overall, this was a good experience and I wouldn't be unhappy staying here again.

The Embassy Suites are a great place to hang with the kids! Free breakfast in the mornings and happy hour at night from 5:30pm-7:30p., with light snack. Indoor/Outdoor pool. Great location! There is a Ruth Chris on property which always has wonderful food!

The hotel was overbooked so there were so many people waiting on rooms and my family was in the mix. Luke Butler, the manager stepped in and made all the difference in the world to us He was so kind & helpful and full of hospitality! He made sure that we got settled in our 2 rooms and that the rest of our stay was good! He is definitely in the right field and should we ever return it will because of how well he treated us! Thanks Luke!

Perfect location! I was in town doing business at Gallup. I was close enough to walk and the area is safe for walking and adventuring. The hotel staff were great. The breakfast was kinda shabby, when compared to other embassies. Also, the gym equipment was pretty rickety.

A bad experience. After driving more than 12 hours I found that my two rooms were not ready. I did check in online and a day before and selected my rooms (close each other), all they told me at the front desk is that they were completely sold and the rooms I selected were no available. Finally, my first room were available at 4:30 PM after I complained and the second room at 5:15 PM, Check in time is 3 PM.
You may read from other reviewers that the hotel is old but what is not acceptable is that the rooms are dirty, stains in the carpet, smelly and the bathroom has peeling wallpaper, rusted and missing bolts, hair, MOLD....
I am not a germ freak.
The two stars are for the location: Close to good restaurants and MARTA.

Amberly is #1 and the place is beautiful. Did not give 5 stars because Ruth Chris in there has very average food and the valet is not the best. Otherwise it was nice and the first time I had no complaints about cleanliness in a hotel room.

Very nice location still have the city feel just outside of downtown Atlanta. Paid for premium room and got all the snacks and drinks we wanted. Beds were a little hard though. They do have a weird breakfast card unlike any other Embassy I've stayed with.

I arrived on a Sunday night and my room was not clean (trash on the floor, dirty cups, and standing water in the ice bucket). I'm not a germ freak, so I addressed it with management the next day and received an, "I'm sorry". I don't know what I expected, but was not satisfied with that response. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is, because of Don, whom I only interacted with at breakfast, and his sincere care for the breakfast process. He was so kind, attentive, and genuinely a good guy. He turned the whole trip around for me. I advised management of this and I hope they took my compliments to heart and that Don is acknowledged sufficiently.

I am never displeased with my expectations and experiences at Embassy. Constance who served at the managers reception was an amazing associate. She did not stop smiling, while serving, cleaning and greeting guests. As a regional manager in retail, she is an asset and staple to Embassy Buckhead. Thank you for another peaceful place to stay while traveling for work.

The rooms are very large. The bathroom needs some TLC. It is dated and has some paint chipping on the door and rust. The breakfast was good. But the atrium was small and very cold since it is located adjacent to the entrance door and it is 20+ degrees outside. It took me a long time to reach the front desk last night. The phone kept ringing. They did not offer coffee during the managers reception. They suggested we purchase coffee from the "Starbucks" in the gift shop. The gift shop uses Starbucks cups but it is nothing like Starbucks!! It was gross.

The staff were very nice overall. The hotel charges for valet or self park were rather high. The breakfast food was on the bland side compared to breakfast at other Embassy properties I regularly stay at. Room was clean overall...hotel smelled fresh and clean for an older building.

I usually give 5 but this time around. I was quite disappointed. We screamed on 2 different occasions. There were 2 ROACHES. My friend trapped one under the glass in the bathroom. Ugh...then when we came back from the grocery store to put our stuff in the fridge one flew from under the coffee pot stirring up a frenzy. I trapped that one under the paper cup by the coffee maker. We left out to go to my cousins graduation and on the way back in we told front desk. They offered another room and very apologetic. When we went to move from the room housekeeping obviously picked the glasses up off the floor and put them BACK ON THE SINK IN BATHROOM BECAUSE DEAD ROACH WAS STILL LAYING THERE ON THE FLOOR. SMH... Front desk/management took good care of The situation. The rooms were spotless and clean, breakfast was great. Just had roaches.

Elegant and simple are the two adjectives wed in holy matrimony over the description of Embassy Suites. An easy beauty with wide open spaces give you a sense of welcome and comfort. Staff is great and breakfast even better.

The interior is gorgeous. Fitness room is run down. Not clean & non working machines. Both pool are great. Outdoor pool very relaxing. The managers special 530p-730p is nice but female bartender takes 0 interest in quality of her drinks. We get that it's free & not top shelf. But 2 of 4 drinks were in drinkable. Gin and tonics without lime & nothing but tonic. Vodka soda's tasted like water. She has no interest in the craft of a bartender. Hotel staff otherwise great. Amazobg location!!! Can walk to countless other locations

I had a recently renovated room on the third floor. Pool was nice. Breakfast and reception have gone dowmhill over, say, 5 or 10 years ago. Food is behind the bar, so you wait in a line for 5 minutes to ask for a pancake or a piece of bacon. Reception snack bowls were empty when I came in around six and again around seven when I came back down. Elevators fast, staff mostly helpful and eager to do well, parking is cramped.

Very nice hotel. Helpful friendly staff. Great bar. Rooftop pool is nice. Parking is expensive but the valet is worth it. The shuttle picked us up from Bones and brought us home for free. Was much much much faster and friendlier than the local Uber options. Highly recommended. Only downside was that the bed was pretty old and not particularly comfortable. Other than that the suites are well appointed and roomy.

Great location, friendly staff. Can't beat the included made-to-order breakfast and the weekday happy hour. I enjoyed relaxing in the atrium. However, the rooms are a bit dated, both with the decor and the fixtures. The room was clean, but there were signs of age overall, from the hangers in the closet to the curtains to the bathroom tile. Towels and toiletries could be upgraded as well. Took forever to get an iron brought to my room when I noticed it was missing. Nothing really stood out to make this a must recommend for anyone staying in the area, especially amongst the plethora of choices in the area

5

Extremely noisy at all hours of the night. Having the atrium is a good idea in theory and looks cool, but when you have less than desirable clientele, it's not realistic.

Great location, having Ruth's Chris is nice.

Rooms are a bit dated. Evening front desk is only minimally helpful.

Would not choose this hotel for another stay in the Atlanta/Buckhead area.

The room was extremely comfortable, it was nice having a two room suite in a standard room. Ruth's Chris downstairs also provided fantastic service when I got desserts sent to my room(which were phenomenal). Thr only issue I had was my room key never seemed to open the door easily. Overall a great stay, will be back!

Love the lobby and the fish, rooms were much nicer and cleaner than I expected based on other reviews. I honestly don't know what they were talking about. We enjoyed our stay and to top it off they have complimentary snacks and drinks every evening. The drinks are free but I suggest tipping well. You will get your money's worth plus some. :)

This place is an absolute joke. First of all they charge you $30 to park your car each night. But if you have a guest its 8 bucks. The hot tub was parking here is $30 a day if you stay here but guests only pay $8 the first day no hot tub open for 2 days and when they did open it it was so hot no one could go in. Breakfast here is the worst. There is no Buffet here. They make you stand in line to get your food and apparently it's only a small little bit one time. If you order an omelette there's about $0.30 worth of egg but they act like they giving you a $18 steak dinner Hopefully your not in a rush because the line is around 35 minutes long. I have had a confrontation with the cooks every day until it came to a head Friday when we had to get the managers involved to correct the attitude of the people cooking. Not to mention the embarrassment of being treated like a second-class citizen. What a Seen that they made in front of all the guests. As for our room, we had no hot water for 4 days so we couldn't take a shower. the front desk had told us they contacted the manager and they would have somebody to fix it but no one showed up for two days and it has taken 4 hours to try to fix it. the TV's had no signal for 2 days and when we finally got signal one of the TV's is almost a black picture. We have the maintenance people here in the room multiple times trying to fix the tub and the shower because if has no hot water. Our stay has been totally disrupted. We also have a 5 day old infant in the room and this place is like Grand Central Station they don't care about quiet. I am here with a disabled veteran and apparently they don't care about that either. We had the maid show up before 9 trying to get us out of this room. But check out is actually at 1. And we're not slated to leave here for another 3 days. Then we got a call from the desk downstairs asking us to leave this room because it's a handicap room and they needed it for someone who was in a wheelchair. The problem is we need it because one of the people with us is also in a wheelchair and she is a disabled veteran. They nickel and dime you to death here. No free coffee after hours you have to go to your room to make coffee. I have been in many Embassy Suites and I have never been treated this badly. I would avoid this place like the plague. Find any place other then this hotel. I don't like writing bad reviews but when it's called for I will definitely tell everyone. Shame on you embassy suites.the sad part is we always use embassy suites every time we can but this has got to be the worst of the worst and if this is the way you treat your customers now we will never be back to any of them

When in town on business, this is my preferred hotel. Get a few drinks at the happy hour in the lobby prior to using the hotel shuttle to reach the 65+ local restaurants in the area. What you save on lodging will be best spent on the fine eats within less than a mile. I love this place.

I stayed at this hotel because my neice was having her birthday slumber party there. The staff was very friendly the other lyrics problem I had was that we did not have hot water and had to go to another room just to take a shower. Nice hotel and helpful staff. The fitness center stays pretty crowded but the pool and whirlpool are both fairly open. The central garden plaza with elaborate koi pond makes for a nice area to hang out, which almost makes the sitting area in my room seem unnecessary. Almost. It was a great space for some board games with family. The AC works great; the bed is comfortable; breakfast is delicious. Embassy Suites deserves its reputation.

I am a Hilton Gold member and really want to stay within the Hilton family. However, the service has steadily declined until I feel I must move hotels. Sales never returns calls aftwr multiple attempts, cleanliness has declined, and there is never enough staff at front desk to help the customer and answer calls. The fitness center is small, dirty, and have the equipment does not work. The most redeeming part is the shuttle driver group. I have stayed this long purely for their service, but now must leave.

Nice hotel with a central courtyard. The rooms are huge, clean and well-furnished. The free breakfast is cooked to order but a little disappointing. The selection is large but instead of trays, some guy hands you some overcooked sausage. Omelet was disappointing as well. The exercise room is basically a couple of treadmills, ellipticals, a stationary bike and a dumbbell rack stuffed into a closet. Don't plan on much of a workout. The evening reception is pretzels, tortilla chips and bar mix, a couple of lousy light beers and cocktails. On the plus side, the rooms are huge, clean and comfy. One great plus is a second sink in the bedroom area so you don't have to fight with your spouse for sink time.

OMG terrible I made reservations the lady spell my last name wrong. Jacuzzi out of service. I get in my room to set up my husband surprise candles & rose petals all over the room he love it BUT when it was time to shower the shower knob rotted we had to clean the room up & move to another room. I PROMISE if it wasn't for AC the front desk assistant me & my husband would've been left this hotel but she was awesome. She even upgraded our room & gave us drinks & snacks she made sure we was accommodated with everything.

I enjoyed every part of my stay except for the WiFi. If I am going to pay $7-15 for WiFi it should not be disconnecting every 1-3 minutes (Skype shows a list of 1-3 minute calls for each time I got disconnected and had to call back). Also, nothing is worse than being late to a meeting because you cannot connect in the lobby to ask for an Uber.
