Very clean hotel with beautiful cityviews. The breakfast staff was excellent, the egg white omelet by Ronnie R was wonderful. It's hard not to serve a dry crumbly egg white anything, but his stated together and was DELICIOUS!!! A treat for a lady like me who needs to eat healthy!

Relaxing, roomy, quiet. Great location in Austin, Texas. Friendly and genuinely helpful staff. Pricey parking. Would definitely choose this hotel again when returning to Austin, Texas.

This place was great! Very clean, pleasant staff and included amenities that go over the top! Free drinks and snacks from 5-7, made a great social experience. The included breakfast was the best I have ever had, fresh hot, huge selection, great coffee, plenty of seating, fresh egg station, over the top! I loved this place! Right near everything, I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at embassy suites. It is perfect for a family. We traveled with a family of 4 including 2 kids. The daily breakfast and receptions were excellent. I want to send a huge shout out to the staff of the hotel. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. It was very busy during the holiday season and they worked tirelessly to ensure guests were satisfied. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is close to many great restaurants/attractions and makes it easy to walk to many destinations but it is still peaceful and quiet.

The only area of improvement (why I didn't do 5 stars) I would mention would be the beds and pillows could be more comfortable. Other than that I recommend this hotel for a family stay.

Great price. Great location. The rooms are spacious and more importantly clean. My room had a mini fridge and microwave. Some of the fixtures were slightly dated - had a little bit of rust. But hey, still very reasonable.
Made use of the free breakfast and free evening happy hour numerous times. The gym is a typical hotel gym. Enough to get a decent workout. Also had to print a document and they have free to use computers + printer. All in all if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel that has all the essentials you have found it. Don't settle for slightly cheaper alternatives in the neighborhood.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location! From the moment we pulled in we were greeted by a young man ready to help us unload the car and help us up to the room. The front desk was fast, friendly, and let us know all about the happy hour, breakfast, and parking! It was the cleanest hotel, the breakfast was AMAZING, and the rooms were so spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here every time we visit Austin!

Decent place. Had a pest in our room but other than that, it was a good experience. Breakfast is average and typical breakfast style food. Happy hour is nice and the staff is incredibly friendly. All in all I would come back.

Best hotel in the area, great desk staff. I also have to point out the amazing bar they have just down past the lobby, if you are lucky enough to be staying there when bartender David is working you are in for a treat. Absolutely one of the best bartenders in the game and has that southern hospitality you look for! Have a good trip yall!

Very nice hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. We stayed on the premium floor, where you had to use your key card to access this floor. The pool and hotel was amazing!!! The parking is a bit pricey but we found a lot across the street that was $5 compared to the $31 - $36 at the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again.

We booked a 2 room suite for a Mother's day/ girls weekend. They assigned us 2 rooms next to each other (they had separate keys and different room #s.) The rooms were not adjourning. Both rooms were off in the corner and didn't have the large window and view like the other rooms at the hotel. We were very disappointed to fly all the way from CA and NC and then not have rooms together. The hotel staff insisted our room arrangement was a 2 room suite. Be wary if you are booking a 2 room suite.
The rest of the hotel was nice. Ronnie at the omelet bar was world class. The entire breakfast was very good. The ambiance is nice if you are not stuck in a corner room.
The parking garage is a bit of a walk, so drop off bags.
The location is convenient to downtown.

Happy surprise in great location in downtown Austin... Good check-in experience; clean comfortable room with great bed, linens, pillows and a bonus... nice view of the pool! Don't hesitate if you are looking for quality reasonably priced hotel downtown. If you are fairly fit and mobile, you can walk or roll to everywhere from here.

Love the look and location. Customer service is awesome in all arenas. Free breakfast is beyond what I expected. No at all your typical hotel free breakfast. This is real cooked hot foot, cook to order omlets, fresh fruit, many juice selections, great coffee selections. Suite are great. I'm in love with this home away from home

Comfortable room with a separate room with a pull out bed and desk. The rooms are separated by a door. Generous happy hour with tables and sitting area to linger and relax. Breakfast selection is huge. It includes eggs made the order. A few restaurants are with in walking distance and the hotel offers shuttle service. I enjoyed my stay and will consider it again in the future.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite; however the rooms were not connected! Good to know if traveling with small children that you will not be in the same room. Our doors were next to each other but no direct access. The room with the double bed was very small and only had 1 window, very poor lighting and poor air circulation. The room with 2 queen beds was nice and spacious. I found it strange that 1 room had the fridge and the other had the microwave. Nice lobby area with dining and a bar. The pool was small and crowded so we did not swim. Unfortunately we had to change hotels for a personal matter and management was kind and did not charge us for the additional 3 nights we had booked.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

I'd like to especially thank the very kind employee named Jackie who works the buffet/breakfast at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown Town Lake location. I can't thank her enough for her excellent service and genuinely sincere care with which she does her job. She went above and beyond to meet the needs of the guests staying at this hotel. I've stayed at many Embassy Suites hotels before, and I've never met an employee who embodies such great character. I commend Jackie, and I ask that her great work please be recognized by her superiors.

Solid offering from Hilton brands. This Embassy suites has a friendly staff, excellent free/included breakfast and decent paid food offerings. Rooms are clean and while they could use a light remodel or touch up in a few cases, overall any issues are minor cosmetic ones. Gym is small and always full in the AM and during many of my visits you had long waits to use treadmills and some were often broken or at least wouldn't incline. Lounge area is one of the better ones for an Embassy, which already sets a pretty decent bar for this. Like all Embassy Suites, they offer free drinks and snacks from 5-7pm. While they don't cheap out like some locations and go with limited drink coupons I do wish they would let you order the free happy hour drinks from anywhere at the bar like other Embassy Suites I've been to instead of forcing all to one choke point. All in all, these are minor issues and this remains one of my favorite places to stay in Austin.

The hotel itself is really clean with a unique layout (room windows that look out into the atrium), really nice/friendly staff, a great breakfast & a perfect location for getting in and out of town. Expect a bit of traffic during rush hour if you are here for work but still reasonable and worth the great City location. Would definitely come back to this hotel!!

This is a great hotel with good service. They do a reception for guests from 5 to 7 where they serve nachos, humus, beer and wine. The breakfast is also very good and the servers are very attentive. Convenient location, good breakfast, nice exercise room, and a great evening reception. The rooms are spacious. We had three rooms. Each room had a different thermostat, ranging from modern to ancient. The temperature was better in some rooms than others. It was a great stay regardless!

Walls were fairly thin, I could hear guests on both sides. Only one garbage can in the whole room, including the bathroom. Mini fridge was smaller than most hotel mini fridges. Rooms were very clean though and can't complain with complimentary hot breakfast and evening happy hour. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

The highlights would be the made to order omelette that is offered complimentary for breakfast and the general location. Location is convenient with kayaking and a river walk trial within walking distance from the hotel. Several restaurants in the area within an extended walking distance. A restaurant called “Corner” at the JW Marriott was good. The hotel room at this hotel itself is fair with heavily worn out furniture. I changed rooms to be on a higher floor, as it feels though people can see you through the windows in the lower floor rooms.

Walking in, you'd think the hotel is the nicest around. But parking is an extra 30 bucks per night on top of the already pricey rooms, and the rooms themselves are just alright. Nothing I can really complain about, but definitely not something I come out of thinking it was worth the price I paid.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Parking kinda sucks. I refused to pay $30/day to self park in their garage. Had to keep paying for street parking. But besides that, had one maintenance issue that was immediately remedied. I would stay again since it's so close to downtown and right next to South Congress.

Hotel was close to amenities. Free breakfast and good happy hour at 5. However, check your receipts carefully when checking out. I received 2 via email which I thought were duplicates until I saw that I was charged penalty on the 2nd receipt. I would have appreciated some explanation before noticing it myself and called them for explanation.

Very nice hotel! Happy 2 hrs of free drinks - nice!! And their FREE breakfast was very impressive - they had everything! The room - we reserved a room with 2 queen beds but they gave us a room with 1 queen. Felt like they gave us whatever they had at the time regardless of the reservation. We stayed in a suite that could sleep 4 people but we only had 3 bath towels, no place to hang them after we used them AND there was a huge water bug in the shower! IF we had been given the room - as resereved - they would have definitely received a 5 star rating!!

Location was fantastic. Right beside the largest urban bat colony in the world and across the street from the Yeti flagship store, this is an excellent spot. Parking is a pain, with an elevated garage and inconvenient hike to the hotel unless you choose the valet option. Staff was awesome, great flexibility and communication. Room has glorious view and was okay by Embassy Suite standards. Minor issues were addressed by staff immediately.

This seemed like a newer embassy suites from many of the others i have been to. the options are just like all the others and its in a nice area. The cool thing is the Yeti store is right across the street, so that was a fun tour. I would recommend staying if you are in the area.

Nice place. Pool is a bit small. Lot of kids.

Edit after my stay: this review is now 5 stars because of the amazing service. From Lee out front who would always greet me by name, to Jose Stacy and Stevie in the bar who knew my favorite drink. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

The hotel itself is okay. This hotel is NOT suited for a business traveler. Go elsewhere. The parking situation is valet vs. a run-down parking garage with a little bit of a hike. This is probably not something ES can change, so just be aware if your company has a self-park policy, you will be walking along the street to go behind the hotel. This hotel also does not have a business center and does not offer a working printer. Both computers are old and broken. As a seasoned traveler, i would not recommend this hotel to business travelers and will not be staying again.

I loved the renovations in the hotel and the food was fantastic!! Stacey at the bar was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations for dining in the area. I also really enjoyed the variety at the breakfast buffet....the Mexican scrambled eggs were fantastic and the fruit was fresh and flavorful. The parking is complimentary but kind of a hike if you need to get to your car. It's on the 3rd and higher levels of the parking structure next door. The one thing I'd like to see is updated televisions. Everything else is fantastic but the out dated TV's are an eye sore when everything else is so nice.

They offer a lot of things for the price! The room was very nice and spacious , the Hotel has a very nice Lobby and Restaurant/ Bar area to hang out, they offer free drinks & snacks every day from 5-7 (unlimited). There is a pool, gym and it's very close to the River and Congress street (Restaurants, live music, bars etc.). Excellent location, the only thing that was a little basic was the breakfast. Would've expected a little higher quality products and selection. Otherwise great Hotel! Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is within walking distance (not exceptionally close, but still not unbearably far kind of walking distance) of downtown, sixth street, etc. The rooms were spacious and had the expected essentials. Lobby was clean and comfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful. On-site parking was included, which was a nice bonus. Continental breakfast was great with a good amount of variety. Another perk was happy hour from 5-7 every night, which offered complimentary cocktails, draft beer, wine, and snacks at the bar.

Nice room with a beautiful view of the Congress Bridge and the State Capitol in the distance. Included breakfasts in the atrium were great! The custom omelets were done to perfection by Ronnie. The rest of the fare (bacon, sausage, juices, coffee, fruit, muffins, bread, etc.) was fresh and tasty. There was plenty of seating for a fairly robust morning crowd...staff bussed tables quickly as people finished.
The free happy hour was also a plus, but the snacks and dinner menu left me unimpressed.
We find Embassy Suites to be a good balance of price and quality and seek them out during our travels.

My husband and I travel to Austin for his job so we've stayed at a few places around the city. Embassy Suites has definitely been one of my favorites so far. The made to order omelet bar was delicious!!! The rooms were large and pillows were comfy. The staff was very nice and welcoming. My only negative is the price for parking. But!! It was very nice having a free shuttle back and forth to the Austin Convention Center!!

Got this hotel for one of my wedding blocks based on the central Austin location, and my guests who stayed there seemed to like it a lot! Great hotel to stay in. HOWEVER, I planned a casual evening event (~8 pm on a Friday night) at the hotel restaurant and bar for about 50 people to mingle before the wedding day. I planned this event FAR in advance and I called (and emailed) the hotel sales manager that 50 people would be coming to the bar and restaurant all at once and I wanted to provide ample time to prepare. In writing AND verbally, she assured me that the bar/restaurant would be appropriately staffed. I’ll cut to the chase - it was NOT. We walk in and the bartender starts FREAKING OUT, picking up and slamming down the phone asking for back up, yelling at customers trying to order (who were being completely calm and patient), and even SPRINTING to the kitchen and back. It was chaos and it didn’t make for a very pleasant event.

It took the mother of the bride AN HOUR AND A HALF to get her food, and she was one of the first ones to order. I think that with the amount of planning done and the promise from the sales manager that they would be ready - ALSO with my guests giving them their money for the hotel rooms - that this was unacceptable. I have not been contacted by the hotel or the sales manager as of yet.

Long story short - stay here, do not plan events here. Especially if you want your guests to get appropriate service.

Enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The staff was very professional and pleasant in their service. The included breakfast was good but not as good as it was in the 90s when I was a kid. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have the option.

This hotel was perfect for our quick trip to Austin. It is within a very short walk to the Congress Street bridge to view the bats. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. They serve a delicious free hot breakfast in the morning. In the evening they serve unlimited free cocktails and snacks (5-7pm). Very clean. Very friendly staff)

Nothing better than a Four Seasons especially the one in Austin. The service is top notch across the hotel. The location of the hotel right downtown Austin on Town Lake is gorgeous. Very nice bar area and restaurant down stairs. A great place to relax and have fun. Don't forget to bring a gold bar to have your car parked...

The hotel was top notch except a VERY wet rug out front all four days, no sign, until I asked twice, to warn against slips. So many good things about this place the wet rug was a big distraction. The area is nice for shopping. Lots for all to do and see. An interesting mix of residential and commerce. The pillows and bed were so nice we wrote down the btand of the pillows and plan on replacing ours. Nice things like a nightly treat delivered to the room.

The room was a nice size for a 3-star hotel. The concierge staff were not very focused on customer service. When told about the horrors of the shuttle service, they did not apologize but said that "it's free service." One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because of the shuttle service. Not only that, it is difficult to get a cab at this location because it is off the beaten path. In hindsight, I would have paid more money to stay across the river and not deal with the hassles of obtaining transportation.

I booked my stay online, and downloaded their new app that allows you to pick your room. I picked my own room, to get there and they gave my room to someone else. The Hilton honors app allows a digital key that i love and you can use on your phone. I don't care for the parking garage that you use to park your vehicle and walk around the building.

The way the hotel is built you have a cool vw bug and stuff where you can relax around the pool or around the fire. It's a new hotel so all of the cookware etc is brand new. The girl that does the breakfast is very friendly. The other staff is more professional. But the stay was great.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

Several stays, first review. Always an exceptional experience. Rooms clean and ready on arrival, restaurant provides excellent food, and the staff is friendly and helpful. One visit included my parents (attend UT graduation) and everyone was very helpful - we all had a great time. Of special note is the made-to-order breakfast - always a treat! John at the front desk is the epitome of customer service. In our stays the last couple of years, he has always been there either at check-in or check-out, he makes problem-solving seem effortless as he takes care of his guests. This hotel is a family favorite.

The hotel was okay. They were in the middle of construction. It may turn out to be quite nice. The staff was friendly and the happy hour was a nice touch. It's a stone's throw from the bridge where all the bats fly.

We had a great stay here. The location is good, but it's across the bridge from downtown. If you're up for walking it's not a bad place to stay. Also the free hot breakfast and happy hours that embassy suits puts on are great.

Room is clean and spacious, free 2 hour happy hour from 5-7 allows you to grab 2 drinks at a time and get drunk before getting a ride share downtown. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was amazing as well. Couldn't have had a better stay!

Solid experience. Hotel needs some TLC. Common areas are clean and stylish but rooms need maintenance (loose hooks in bathroom; scuffed furniture). Staff cheerful and accommodating. Good location with convenient parking.

Room was nice and clean. Staff were courteous and helpful. Hotel was going under renovations so was not a great esthetic experience, but their website warned you of that. Good location for either downtown or SoCo/6th street. Will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights on our honeymoon. We were disappointed that they were doing MAJOR renovations that shut down the entire lobby, pool, breakfast area, and fitness center. But, they made it up by still having high quality service and making the best out these situations. Much of the staff was incredibly helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job.

This hotel is currently going under construction in some areas but they only did work on one friday afternoon. During the night and morning they did not work in the hotel which was nice. The breakfast provided three different tacos with biscuits and muffins. The rooms provided plenty of room for the suites that my party of 7 booked. Simple yet elegant aesthetic. The service from the front desk was on point.

Loved our last stay in September of 2014. The shuttle got us to the Grove, and back. We didn't need our car the entire weekend. The breakfast was the best. prices could be lower for not being on the lake.
