The room was very nice. My husband and I slept in our own room with a king size bed and our two kids slept on the pullout couch and were happy to have their own tv. The continental breakfast was very good and there was a lot of variety, including gluten free muffins that my daughter could eat. The pool wasn't anything special but it was too crowded so the kids didn't swim for very long. The evening reception was nice as there was free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and chips and dip. Room service was nice and we received our order within a half hour. The staff was very nice. Overall it was a really nice stay!

Great perks at this place! We checked in for our third anniversary and they had a happy hour until 730pm. Great way to start off the evening! Complimentary snacks, wine, beer, rails, option to upgrade. We decided for dinner too, Madeira chicken with broccoli and it was delicious. The restaurant had a very cozy feel, like a living room, and the atrium was big and had lots of seating areas without being loud. The staff were very nice and efficient. We then took a hot tub and dip in the pool, and they have towels provided, and reserved adult time after 10pm until midnight. The rooms are two-room suites with living room and then bedroom. That is very nice, makes for a quiet night. Then complimentary breakfast, and not just rolls and yogurt! Impressed! A good value, great stay, will be back again! Thanks embassy!

The location is great. Checked in through the Hilton app, which told me to go by the desk, but I didn't need to, which was odd. But still a decent experience. Rooms are good. Bathrooms are kinda small. But still good enough for a night or three. But room was quiet, and comfortable. Would stay here again, and suggest friends and family stay here as well.

The A/C went out and didn’t get fixed for two days, hotel just said that they had to order parts and didn’t discount rooms or do anything for the inconvenience. It was 80 degrees in my room one night and I could barely sleep because of it. I will never stay here again.

Update: Corporate Office was willing to make this right in my opinion, so rating changed from 1/5 to 3/5.

We enjoyed the large commons space that allowed us to meet up with friends staying there while in town. Staff who helped were courteous and helpful. The pool area was well kept and the public restrooms were clean. It was a very pleasant experience.

We booked through a 3rd party which was Costco. I should’ve known that there was a reason that you don’t see pictures of the rooms on the site. The rooms are ok and there is no tub. Had to bathe babies in the sink. After being gone and visiting family and touring we came in and realized we didn’t have any clean facecloths or towels. My husband called down and requested some and they said they were coming. So we left out to just enjoy our vacation and anniversary time out and came back later on that night and they still had not come. On top of that when you have 2 babies there are diapers. So I called down this time and they said they were sending someone. They finally came and he pulled the ottoman over to hold the door open and layer towels and facecloths on it and then asked me could he go now...I said would you like for me to empty the trash while you wait then.. he said oh I will. He emptied one trash. I said well I will empty the other 2. He won’t ahead and did it...he was about to leave again and my husband handed him all the dirty towels. Then our account alerted us that we had another charge on our card. We had been double charged for the room and they told us that we had to call our bank and let the bank call them in order to reverse it. They said they had never used Costco to book before. Not only that we were charged more than what was on the receipt read. The receipt read 425 and we were charged 490. I wanted to leave but we realized that we couldn’t because it stated it on the receipt that we could not make changes...So sad to say we are stuck here for another day and don’t even want to be here. So we have to make the best of our stay until we go else where. Not to mention when I called down to find out about breakfast...they told me the time and after I hung up they called right back to find out why we were in the room. They said no one was registered for that room...ummmm how did we get a key was my question if we had not been registered...we have stayed at embassy suites a few times before but all I can say is wow...at least downstairs was clean, there was good breakfast, and our room wasn’t bad looking...I bet today our room still won’t be cleaned but thankfully I can clean up just as if I’m at home

Phenomenal hospitality. I booked through a third party and regrettably, there was an error on my arrival and departure dates. Unfortunately, I didn't find this out until my flight landed and I called the Hotel to arrange for the shuttle to pick me up. Very tired after catching my flight in the wee hours of the morning and after driving several hours the night before, I was ready to just lie down. Fortunately, Terra, the supervisor there assisted me to resolve everything and beyond. I was extremely pleased with their amenities and service all around. Very clean rooms and beds. It made a snowy few days in Minnesota quite a nice trip and rounded out my work conference quite well. A nice plus is the shuttle to the Mall of America (I had never been!). Certainly will be back if I'm in the area again and thank you again for everything Terra! I am a loyal Hilton traveler now.... To clarify: my visit was in March.

We arrived on June 29th, 2018. Our stay at the Embassy Suites Bloomington was okay. The hotel has recently been remodeled and the lobby and courtyard are nicely done. Some of the details in the room give off the truth that everything has not been updated, but that said, it was very clean and the beds are comfortable. We stayed at the hotel on a very warm day and during the evening Manager's Reception in the courtyard, it was very warm and a bit uncomfortable. The hotel offered munchies and fair quality rail drinks, wine and beer. I was a bit disappointed at the fact that they didn't even have margarita mix to serve a margarita. We arrived 30 minutes after the start of a 2 hour reception to find all of the salsa, hummus and most all of the veggie tray were sitting empty. I asked at the front desk if they replaced items when they ran out and I was told to go to the bar myself and tell them they were out of such items. I was a bit shocked that the front desk wouldn't just call to the bar and relay the message, instead telling me to do this, especially with the sign on the front desk stating whatever was not right, they would make right. The hotel has 1 person working at replenishing all of the snacks and clearing and busing the tables, so no wonder things were falling behind. Our room was fine, however we found that it never really got much cooler the whole night even though we had the desired air conditioning temperature set at 65°. I called down to the front desk at 11:30 pm and was told there was no maintenance personnel on staff at the time to look at the air conditioning. I was surprised that in a hotel of this size there was no 24 hour maintenance staff, however I was offered to switch rooms to see if another would be better, but at 11:30 at night we decided we would just work through it. The breakfast was a great highlight. We decided to go down at 7 am when breakfast began, to avoid any crowds, and we were very pleased that we did. The made to order omelet bar was wonderful and they had everything you could want for breakfast, so that was a great start to the day. I am not sure I would recommend this hotel to a friend, however, based at our experience at other Embassy Suites hotels, I would be willing to try to it again.

Stayed there for 2 weeks for a work class. During that time the shuttle broke down and the driver left me behind once the back up shuttle came. Had to walk back as no one informed the hotel to send a second shuttle. Breakfast was ok, happy hour was good. Front desk service could use some training. Rooms are two room suites but rather average.

A great top level hotel with great staff
When I went here about a week ago I honestly think that this is one of the best hotels I've ever been to, the staff are nice and caring the room service is the best and believe it or not there is a community brakfist in the morning and a dinner at night. Also not to mention there is a pool with a hot tub and a fitness room. Overall this 8 story hotel is the best there is.

I really enjoyed my stay at the embassy suites. Staff was all very helpful. When I arrived I had a room on the 5th floor. The hotel has glass elevators and a great view of the lobby. Unfortunately I have a fear of hights. I asked Steve at the front desk if he could move my room closer to the ground. He found me a room on the 1st floor. My stay was great thanks to Steve and all the staff here. Next time I stay in a hotel I'll definitely look for an embassy suites

They don't need your business all that bad. They will take a company's money for a reservation and tell them they need to be quiet during their high energy recognition ceremony because the other half of the ballroom is being used by another group that wants quiet. Not cool to deliver this news on the day of the event.

This establishment is gorgeous. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The evening reception is fun, appetizing and fruitful for the "adult beverage" havers. The swimming pool and whirlpool are amazing. The made to order breakfast buffet is phenomenal. Easy access from the freeways and main streets. Overall, great place for the entire family and you won't get broke enjoying yourself.

We were staying there after hanging out at cowboys Jack's next door. The front desk was very helpful in making sure we had a room for all of us. The room was a suite with a pull out couch and 2 double beds. The pull out couch was comfortable. There was a fun happy hour in the evening with drinks and nachos. There was a Keurig in the room for coffee in the morning. We also are at the free breakfast in the morning with made to order omelets! I would recommend this hotel for families or couples

This Embassy Suites by Hilton is amazing especially as compared to the Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis-Airport. The hotel is clean and up-to-date. The room I had seemed much larger than it actually was. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff was polite and friendly.

I Was there for a Clinique seminar! The stay who serviced us for our meals were very hard workers and you could tell they genuinely cared about what they were doing and about given us the best meal in the most efficient service! Was greeted with a smile and pleasant front desk staff when i entered Embassy Suites; and was also bid a very pleasant Farwell by staff!! Very awesome! Would absolutely suggest this place to others!

Excellent location with easy on/off highway access. It is also very close to the offices I was visiting. The included made to order breakfast was the usual high quality. I used my phone as the key card for my room. On one instance, there was an extended delay of probably 40 seconds for the lock to the room to unlock, but outside this single instance, the mobile key card worked well. I particularly enjoyed checking in and selecting my floor and room via the Hilton Honors mobile app.

Hesitate giving a 5 as there were too many little issues. Staff was very friendly, and it was a very, very cold and busy weekend. Hotel did not handle cold great ... our room had several "wet" spots, from condensation of vents and window. The atrium was FREEZING!! mostly because the double doors were almost always both open from the constant traffic! isn't it possible to set these doors to only have one set open at a time? I felt terrible for your staff working the desk. Food was good, omelette chef was superb as was your happy hour staff. Front desk phone line was always busy and the desk was always swamped ...

Clean, comfortable suit. Lobby bar had a very friendly female bar manager who's been with them for many years, she was a goodwill ambassador for sure and had a great sense of humor. Their happy hour was average as far as the snacks, but the pub menu was decent.

Overall it was a very nice stay. The complimentary breakfast and cocktails were great. The rooms are nice and clean. Our king size bed was so comfortable. Our only thing was that the bed sheets aren't the most comfortable but that may just be our own preference. Would definitely stay here again!

Hard to beat for the price.

Service was good. Their happy hour is very generous. There was no limit on the drinks you could have during the two hours. However this was a little bit of a backfire later as some guests stayed loud well past midnight. Due to the center of the hotel being open the noise would reverberate into the front room. If you’re a light sleeper you can’t use the front room, but the second part of the suite remains quiet if the door is shut.

The suites themselves are nice. The mini fridges in most rooms are the tall type. Nice having a microwave and a sinks readily available.

The breakfast buffet includes made-to-order omelets and the bacon, sausage, and other items were kept full.

Currently staying here for a wedding. Always loved Embassy Suites as our go to place but haven't had a great experience unfortunately. The sleeper sofa is beyond its years and you feel every spring.. Room 210 is connected to the fitness room which guests can use 24/7 which means a slamming door and chatting while working out. Breakfast as always is delicious.

Nice rooms. We had a couple issues that were remedied very quickly. The breakfasts were awesome. The chef always made my omelet the way I wanted, even though it wasn't normal. Even the coffee was good. It didn't tear up my stomach, which happens frequently at places where they don't used enough coffee grounds. I loved that the air conditioning was quiet. The sitting room not only cancelled our all the nose from the wedding reception, but was a nice respite place after all our touring during the day. We were they 8 days, 7 nights. I'd return in a heartbeat.

I love this hotel! When I lived in town it was a fun staycation now I live far away and this is my favorite place to stay when in town. We had a great experience here on a last-minute family staycation! The evening reception was fun, clean, and well-stocked. It's certainly not a substitute for dinner, but definitely compliments it well. Contrary to some other reviewer's comments, during our multiple night stay, I noticed the menu changing from night to night (perhaps due to feedback!)

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and spacious. We have a room near a corner of the square building, and I did not notice noise from the softball teams that were enjoying themselves in the reception area either.

It's not exactly a luxury property, but it certainly doesn't have to be. If traveling for business or pleasure, you won't be disappointed here.

This hotel was nice and looks to have been renovated recently. There were a few areas where you could tell it is an aging building though nothing that affected my stay. I was a bit disappointed to see that the steam room (or maybe it was a Sauna?) had been taken out since my last visit several years ago, and there was a group of unsupervised kids in the pool, but overall I had a very nice stay. The staff were friendly, breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean!

I loved everything about it. The hotel was beautiful, the complementary breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the complementary happy hour was a plus #igotkids. The staff were excellent. Terra in the morning was helpful and very sweet. She needs a raise.😉 Chelsea aka pikachu at night became my new best friend for 4 days, she is awesome. She needs a raise😉. The he driver, Patrick, was very comforting and let us know a lot about the location, he needs a raise, the bartender, J, was nice and cool to talk to. Three others, that I don't remember their names, were also cool. The happy hour bartender, the weekend driver and the morning driver all deserve honorable mention. All in all, I loved the staff. Great hotel, great staff, amazing hotel.

Location is pretty excellent, centrally located. Hotel is pretty quiet and the rooms are deliciously huge, important to a family of 5! Pool is one of the nicest I have seen in a hotel. Staff is thoughtful and attentive. Breakfast is excellent, a wide variety of things to choose from and omelets cooked to order if you desire. Very much enjoying the complimentary drinks each night. Absolutely love the usb charging ports in the lamps.

I love the ambiance of this hotel. They have a great sitting area downstairs and I love the sitting area we had in our room. It allowed room for our kids to play. The dinner and appetizers were really cool. The only downfall was breakfast the next day. When I went down it took a while for some of the fresh food to be brought out and my kids were really hungry. Other than that, it was great.

The room was wonderful. It looked clean and well-kept! The beds were a bit firm for my personal taste, but no complaints. Happy hour specials for adults were also great! My only complaint is that we tried to book the room at an advertised $145 and they up charges us to $169 without telling us and didn't make it easy to remedy (it ended up being $169).

We always stay here when we travel for work! Best breakfast and evening reception in town. So close to work, makes commuting effortless. Within walking distance of target and several coffee shops and restaurants. The service is always friendly. You get a lot for the very reasonably prices suites. Always has a microwave and fridge for us picky eaters. Short distance to Trader joe's and whole foods

Treated like a VIP throughout my entire stay. Large rooms, super comfortable beds, two huge flatscreen TV's (one in sleeping area, one in the desk/lounge area). Happy hour for all guests every night with an open bar and snacks. Breakfast with made to order omelets is a great start to the day. Enjoyed dinner at their restaurant and it was really fantastic.

Went to a friend's birthday party which he hosted in a large room. The space was very nice! Lots of chairs and couches to sit on, and the fridge gave us plenty of space to keep snacks and drinks cold.

My sisters and I chose this hotel for a girls' weekend and we were not disappointed. With three women sharing a room, we were excited to have two vanities with sinks available in the morning and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was nice and the pool was warm. The service was friendly, and we enjoyed the complimentary happy hour appetizers and drinks. The appetizers were nothing fancy - chips, crackers and dips, but it was free so there are no complaints here on that end! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I recently stayed at another Embassy Suites where the breakfast was much better tasting than the one here. The breakfast here was good for a hotel breakfast, but I was comparing it to the breakfast I had at the downtown Minneapolis Embassy Suites which was excellent.

Inexpensive hotel with 2 room suites. The morning breakfast is a step above your normal continental breakfast and the free happy hour is a really great perk. Quite, comfortable, great value. The pool was crowded, but there's adults only pool hours at night.

It was fine. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quality. Visited for a conference where the hotel provided hotel provided lunch and dinner. Both were respectable, for banquet cuisine. Conference rooms were fine. Everything seemed well organized and efficient.

Great hotel and location. Easy to find. This hotel is well managed. Friendly, efficient staff, clean rooms and amazing breakfast. The GM should be recognized for running a great property.

We have stayed here many times. Staff has always been great. The restaurant manager is amazing. She is very good with the customers. My husband and I enjoyed our conversations with her.

We had three suite rooms next to each other for my Bachelorette party. Had an awesome time! Free drinks and apps during happy hour, free bus ride over to M.O.A. where we ate dinner, headed back to the hotel where we went over to Cowboy Jack's and had a blast. In the morning we had made to order omelets, that are spot on! Everyone had a great time and I had a large group of ladies with me.

Was at the hotel for a wedding ceremony and reception. Beautiful atrium w/ fountains for the ceremony. Reception room was beautifully decorated. Food was delicious. All the workers at the event were fabulous; smart, courteous, and on top of everything going with on. Well done team!

I really enjoyed staying at the embassy suites. I liked the service that they provided and they're customer service was great. The only part that I didn't enjoy was getting a shuttle to the airport. We were told it would be a 7 minute wait and I think it ended up being 40 minutes. That could have been due to traffic or any other number of reasons but it was frustrating. The room was gorgeous and the food in the morning was great, I asked for some toiletries and they were more than happy to give me anything I needed. I would recommend staying here.

Off the beaten path a bit, no big flashy sign to advertise the entrance to the hotel. But it is conveniently placed near both the airport and Mall of America. Embassy Suites also has a nice shuttle to the Mall, just make sure to call to reserve a place. The rooms are pretty nice, you can tell they spent some time and money renovating the rooms. The pool is a bit small, if there's a lot of kids around it'll get crowded fast. Staff was pleasant and easy to work with.

New remodeling is very nice. The extra seating they added for breakfast was a definite plus.

GM, talk is cheap.

I put a review on Trip Advisor on Sep 15th. The GM replied the next day that since I was still in the hotel, he or she would contact me directly about the slow internet and lack of options for Military rate guests.

You had my room, cell number and email on file. NOTHING.

By the way, the internet is horrible in this hotel. With the military rate here, I was limited to a room with 2 double beds, not even queen beds.

Front staff was friendly, shuttle service was excellent. Breakfast was ok. There were so many HS aged kids, the chef threw together omelettes as fast as he could. Did enjoy the large amounts of fresh fruit.

I'd highly recommend the Embassy Suites in Brooklyn Center, MN. I stay there frequently for business and it never disappoints. There I'm allowed to book a premium room w/king size bed with the military rate, and the internet is exceptional.

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at this location. The hotel may be a bit more pricey than some competitors, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. The suites were clean and comfortable, and the hotel shuttle service is wonderful - from picking us up at the airport to taking us to Mall of America - so convenient! The hotel staff was attentive and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet cannot be beat! Jim, the manager is friendly and eager to please his guests.
My only suggestion would be to change up the snacks at happy hour. When staying for a long period of time, hummus and salsa every evening is too repetitive.
Thanks for a great stay!
