ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Great location right off 495. Staff was great! Ryan working the breakfast girddle made some fantastic chocolate chip pancakes for our kids. A few bucks more than some others in this area but well worth it! We'll be back again!

Did not stay overnight, was there for a meeting. Staff is very friendly. Conference room was very clean and very nice. Live entertainment in the lounge area (very impressive). Not much parking though....

Long time spent away from home there. When I have to come back to customer in Marlborough, this is always my first choice. You feel comfortable and even abroad you have everything close to the hotel. A beautiful entertainment area, a lot of restaurants, markets and so on. Highly suggested for work travelers in the area. I will not talk more about cleanness, silence and services like pool and fitness center... They are all exceptional! Enjoy your stay! ;-)

I'm a veteran traveler and been to many hotels and I felt Embassy Suites was just ok. The rooms are enough for what I needed ( 6 in a room), 2 full size beds and a pull out couch that did accommodate us. Bathrooms are a little small with no sink in it. It does have 2 sinks one in the kitchen area ( not really a kitchen) and one right before the bedrooms. The TVs do not offer many choices. The AC did work but not well. It didn't cool the whole place but if it was blowing on you it helped. No really great views from any windows where I was ( 5th floor) . The elevator was very slow and small, even going down one day. The game room needs an upgrade. The pool is heated but very small and only 5 feet deep. They do have a hot tub that was good. Gym could be updated as well and very small. The staff are very accommodating and helpful so that is a bright spot. The location is very good with plenty of food options nearby. They also have a restaurant attached to the hotel so that's an option too. Parking was easy and free ( most charge now for parking). They also offer a shuttle program that will take you to about 5 miles from the place for no charge. House keeping was only ok nothing great. The main reason we stayed here is that we got a block rate due to a baseball tournament we were involved in. The rate was 179 per night for a suite which I feel isn't great for here. Still had a good time just don't think I'll return. I'm used to a little better quality. P.S. the mattress is super soft where you'll sink in it

Good location, and hospitable staff. Breakfast was decent, the omelette bar chef was excellent. Room was nice compared to other Embassy suites. I would stay there again

We have stayed there a number of times over the years and love it. The made-to-order breakfast is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Very close to restaurants, Apex, a grocery store, highways and a hockey rink.

We had a great stay at the Embassy. The room was clean. We were texted prior to our arrival to see if we needed anything. We had complimentary water and wifi. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We will return again.

My standard double room was huge although with a peculiar layout (eg: bathroom sink outside the bathroom in a corridor to bedroom) the furnishing and decoration is a bit dated but still ok and functional (they announced an upcoming refurbishment). The room was well cleaned. Breakfast was great. Gym very small. Plenty of parking place. "These elevators are super slow" was the spontaneous conversation starter with other guests while waiting. The personnel is polite and helpful.

Decor is a bit dated, but overall a good hotel. Nothing better than a shower with good water pressure, which this one has. The restaurant is a bit slow, only has one or two servers, but overall it's not bad. Elevator has an odd musty smell and there's only one elevator, so it can get pretty slow.

Reason I am giving 3 starts even though I really enjoyed my stay and the staff were amazing, is due to the the leak that had occurred in bathroom area. Coming from the ceiling dripping directly on to the toilet from a crack. After they came to fix the leak the bathroom was left a messed. No new towels were giving even though they were clearly water soaked from the leak. No offer of room change or discount offered. I was leaving the next day so I didn't mind. But it did leave me disappointed.

We had a great experience at this property, the Jacuzzi at the indoor pool area was a welcome stress reliever. The rooms could use a little updating, but all in all it was comfortable. The staff was great – very helpful and accommodating. Our bartender Gina was five stars great!

The only downside we experienced during our stay was the hotel management. You could see it in the employees. One minute they are happy, conversive with the customers but as soon as a manager appeared their entire demeanor changed. From our vantage point it looked like they are severely micro-managed. Did not look like a fun place to work. Aside from that staff was great.

Nice hotel, I am staying in a suite with a separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom. It has a microwave and mini fridge. Has 2 flat screen Samsung TVs. Service has been good. Centrally located near food and stores.

The breakfast buffet was horrible for a person with food allergies. The room we stayed in was a suite with the beds being too soft and the plumbing was broken in the kitchen. Not very impressive.

Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was amazing; there's the usual fare, cereal, fruit and breads, but there's also eggs, pancakes and French toast all made to order! There is a restaurant and small bar, haven't been to either one, but seem nice. There's a pool and a hot tub; a small arcade and a small workout room. We have a suite, full kitchen and living area. Pull out couch for extra sleeping, and faux fireplace. 2 queen size beds in the bedroom. Everything is wonderful!

It was a bit hard to spot coming off of the major highway and parking was not ideal. But I will say from the quality of food to the willingnesss to help was fantastic. Overall a bit out dated but they are starting a renovation. I would give them 3.5 stars before renovation but 4.5 after renovation.

We love this hotel. The staff from the front desk to back of the house are wonderful. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The bar pours great drinks and the breakfast buffet really hits the spot. Kudos to the chefs behind the grill. We've been staying here yearly for 5 plus years, and always enjoy our time spent.

Gorgeous Hotel and the Suites are Awesome! I just wish I was there longer to enjoy my room. I had gone to a concert and arrived late. The bed was so comfortable I just passed out! I loved the pillows and asked where they got them. She gave me the hotel website so I could order them if I wanted. I had a hard time getting out of my comfy bed cause I could have stayed in it all day! I did make it to the Hot tub which was like Heaven! There is a nice pool also but I needed the hot tub to help my aching bones. The only annoying thing is the hot tub shut off after 15 min which I know is a safety thing but I hated getting out to do that! Lol There is a really nice dining area but I didn't make it to breakfast being that I didn't want to get out of the hottub. This hotel is one of the best for their amenities. I will definitely be back and stay longer than a few hours.

This hotel is spectacular and way above standard for a 3 star establishment. First off, the customer service at the front desk was excellent. Second, the room was super clean and spacious. Third, the hotel is located at a convenient location, right off to a freeway, next to fast food & restaurants, and even a supermarket. They have a gym and pool. Last but not least they serve hot and cold breakfast daily with a dedicated chef working an omelette station. What more can one ask of a hotel??

After 3 fire alarms at another local hotel, at almost 1am, my husband and i checked in at the Embassy Suites. The 2 room suite was awesome, clean and quiet! And only 20 dollars over the mediocre room we had at the other hotel. We will definitely choose the Embassy Suites over any other hotel next time!!!

Great hotel. Rooms are consistently clean and very spacious. Rooms are all a little different but are commonly segmented into living space and bedroom. Hot breakfast is included and so is evening reception. Very good food with decent variety. Always stay here when in the area.

Rooms were very clean, comfy, and spacious. Bathroom was a little small but that's my only complaint! Breakfast was served downstairs in the morning and was absolutely delicious! They had a cook making omelettes and pancakes to order, as well as a variety of eggs, sausage and bacon, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. Was great, would definitely stay again.

6

Very old and tired property. The lobby area is fairly clean and nice, but the rest of the hotel is dated and shabby. The guest rooms are clean, but the decor is very outdated and the bed I slept on was saggy and worn. The employees tried their hardest, but it is hard to be cheery when you know that you are charging for rooms that are not worth the investment. If you can get the room for under $125, it might be worth it, but as with all sub-par hotels in the greater Boston area, they can charge more due to lack of rooms.

Nice hotel
Nothing great but nothing bad either, a descent hotel. The "manager's Special is kind of on the lame side, with just ok snacks. Unfortunately, with Mass laws, there is no half priced alcohol included with the manager's special(Happy Hour). However you can still get drinks at the bar at regular price. Not a terrible thing at all. The location of the hotel is great, right off of 495 and there are a lot of choices for food, gas, and other stores within walking distance of the hotel and beyond.

Everyone I encountered from the people at the front desk to the cleaning people to the people at the breakfast buffet were very friendly. The chef was especially entertaining at breakfast. My room was nice: I had a small kitchenette with Keurig coffee, a small desk and living room area, a bedroom, and a two part bathroom (sink was separate from shower/toilet). My only complaint is that my window wasn't very soundproof and I could hear the traffic as it went by through one end of my sliding glass door window (which didn't actually open; I was on the 4th floor facing the main road). I stayed here overnight for work. We usually stay at another local hotel and this was my first time staying here. I thought the breakfast buffet was much much nicer here for vegans: the chef made me cooked vegetables (without the egg) and another man who worked there very kindly went in the back to get me almond milk for my cereal. I hope Embassy Suites becomes the new regular place we have to stay.

Stayed here for one night after a concert in worchester. I was shocked by how nice this hotel was for such an inexpensive price. The rooms were large and extremely clean. The bed was super comfortable and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious. They had a large variety of choices and everything was fresh and hot. The staff was all very friendly and very attentive. I would absolutely come here again and would recommend.

My room was upgraded from a single to a double bedroom at the desk. The room was spacious and the bed was definitely comfortable. The morning continental breakfast was also quite good. That being said, there were a few small things that prevented this from being a five star review. First, there were a few lamps and outlets that did not have any power. Second, bathroom fan was extremely loud and I didn't use it because it rattled too much. Lastly, the tvs and remotes seemed to be outdated. All relatively minor things and I definitely enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Lost a star because they play the music really loudly and it's pretty stuffy in the rooms so I'd wake up with a bit or a dry mouth. Other than that it was a good experience at a hotel. Happy hour was yummy and breakfasts were wonderful.

8

Quaint setting with a creek and small pondrunning through the middle. The two wings are not equally up to date. The more recently renovated side included a small kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave. The sitting room has a 32" flat screen of average screen quality. A similar tv is on the bedroom.

Warm staff but chilly rooms. Friendly staff and nice selection of services on the holiday. The only negative is an older HVAC system that kept the bedroom quite cold. Closing the door seemed to make it worse. Reminder: no alcoholic beverages here during evening reception due to Massachusetts law.

You will not regret staying at this hotel. I have never stayed at a hotel where the staff was so friendly. We stayed for 8 days while my daughter was competing in a Figure Skating Competition and they asked every single day how she did, was there anything we needed and some even asked where she was the competition was so they could go and watch all the girls staying at the hotel. I will always pick Embassy first after this experience! Thank You so much for the Great and wonderful time we had in Marlbough!
