ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Nice hotel, but many amenities not available due to COVID-19 precautions. I feel they could do more as far as breakfast and Manager's evening get together.

I stayed here recently for a very large conference (700+ participants). Overall, it was a very positive experience. The facility and it's employees handled the large number calmly, politely and efficiently.

The hotel decor could be called a bit dated, but I think that is outweighed by the level of service the team members there provide. All the rooms are suites, which means they are roomy with lots of space to conduct business, work or entertain. Mine was sparkling clean and furnished with all necessities.

My largest compliment must go to the employees: they are courteous and polite, without being "chummy" or too familiar. From the cleaners to the receptionist to the bell hops and bartenders - everyone struck the right tone!

The only (minor) hiccup happened in the business center. While attempting to use the printer, I realized that it was out of toner. I requested a replacement and was told it had to be done by a specific department within the facility. I was immediately offered the opportunity to have the documents I needed printed by someone else (I was reluctant because of the nature of the documents). It took several hours (overnight) to have the toner issue resolved, which created some difficulty in my doing my work.

I would gladly recommend the place.

The room was HUGE and had a nice little fridge, the bedroom being separated from a little living room was lovely since two of us like to stay up late and two do not! They were also very polite about my service dog, several staff members would start to say hello to her (it is a pet friendly hotel!) And then stop when they saw her vest and apologize to me. The breakfast was awesome, I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

I attended the Supernatural convention on Sunday. The Embassy Suites was very clean and the staff that we encountered were very nice and helpful. Most of our time was not spent in an actual room but rather the meeting rooms and restaurant. The meeting rooms were very spacious and also clean. The restaurant, while slightly chaotic, was good. I had a crab cake sandwich and my friend has the hamburger. Both were reasonably priced and arrived quickly. I would recommend the Embassy Suites for staying and playing!

While i have stayed at this property, I did not this time. This is a review mostly of the convention space but I will say that when I went to see what they were offering in the way of food, I was not going to pay $10 for a sliced fruit salad or turkey wrap and a drink. The convention center needs repairs. Handicapped doors were broken (the main entrance to the convention center). A person in a wheelchair would need to wait for assistance if they were unable to physically open the door. There is not enough handicapped parking and those spaces are not close to the doors. There should be designated smoking areas away from the building. It is annoying to walk out the doors straight into smoke especially if you are asthmatic. The bathrooms are nice and roomy.

Nice property, not to congested in the immediate area. Great amenities. They have a shuttle that covers about three square miles if you have been drinking or don't feel like driving. Their catering is awesome! The cleanliness of their bathrooms public and private are not what I would expect of a property like this. But I am also extremely anal when it concerns bathrooms. The rooms are also very nice and roomy. I would stay here again!

My wife and I spent our very first wedding anniversary weekend here. The service was outstanding from the check in to the bartender and the room service persons. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet that is included with the stay.

The embassy suites Concord is a nice hotel. It is much bigger on the inside than it looks from outside. The rooms are a little date but that isn't something that bothers me. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. There is a lot of places to eat a short distance away. Without having stayed at any other local options, I would still probably stay here again in the future if I had to pick somewhere in Concord to stay.

I came for my daughters 16 birthday. The room was very nice - spacious. Housekeeping was nice and brought additional needed items. Bed was not the cleanest. I found several hairs and stains on the pillows. Taylor in guest reception was quite rude. I typically stay in Embassy Suite hotels, but would not recommend this particular one.

The conference room was very pretty, with a nice set up. Employees checked to make sure we had water and changed the trash cans periodically, we appreciate their time and effort. The buffet was beautiful. I'm picky about chicken, but that was the best I've ate in a long time. My favorite was the giant chocolate chunk cookie. If I could get them to make that for my birthday, I'd be in heaven! Well done to everyone!

I have stayed at this hotel countless times and I return every time because it truly is a great escape! You can't beat the breakfast and happy hour... there's an indoor pool and a nice gym with the essentials. The spa is such a treat and the staff are so nice and welcoming. The food is great all around but especially at the restaurants. The rooms are consistently clean and tidy and so spacious. The location to everything Concord Mills couldn't be better either. I'm writing this review from Dave and Busters literally 5 minutes down the street!

You will not regret booking a room here.

Staff and especially the Manager were very accommodating and attentive. I had a problem with check in because I booked through a third party. It showed I still had a balance even though I had paid in full back in March. IT WAS NOT THE HOTEL FAULT!!! I will never book through third party again. Mina the manager assured me he would take care of it and he did just that! For that i will be back to this same hotel in July of this year! This hotel has GREAT customer service!!! Thanks again Mina my family give you and your staff a 10/10

This location is conveniently located right off of I-85 which can be seen from the exit. They have 2 room suites that are very spacious, which definitely makes it feels like home away from home. We have the balcony view which is amazing. It overlooks the golf course and walking trail.

I went to the Spa Botanica. It's very quaint, and my treatment was AWESOME! Left feeling super relaxed! Staff was very nice and professional. I gave 4 stars just for the size of the facility itself, and the refreshments ;)

This review is more about the overall venue vs. "Hotel" ... I was here for a convention but spent plenty of time in the facilities ...

In terms of convention space and layout ... top notch ... staff was very friendly and courteous. The decor was very contemporary and the overall atmosphere was nice. The location seems to have many amenities ... gym, indoor pool, Starbucks, spa, etc. , so there does not seem to be much reason anyone would need to leave.

Location was easy to find and there was plenty of parking...

I didn't stay here. I used the spa for the day. Was able to use the gym and the pool and hot tub. After that had a massage. I was very relaxed. I would recommend this to anyone. Even if you are not staying at this hotel.

I took my husband here for a birthday getaway weekend. The staff here is fantastic!! Everyone went out of their way to make our stay special. From the little bag of goodies they gave us when we checked in, to the lavish spa treatments, we have no complaints. The food at the Ricky River Grille was good, not great, but very good.
It really is the people there that make it!
I felt like everyone loves their job.

The embassy suites was a great location for the event that I attended. The meeting area was spacious, the tables and chairs they had set up were nice and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and answered any questions whenever asked. They were also willing to take me to any room I wasn't sure about the location. The locatio Is close to eating establishments to grab a bite to eat on lunch breaks or go shopping at concord mills or one of the many other stores in the area. They also had plenty of parking at the hotel as well. I would highly recommend this place for a few nights stay or if you are looking to hold a business function.

I've stayed at the Embassy Suites in Concord multiple times. Always a pleasurable stay with the large and well kept suites, the expansive free hot breakfast, and the evening reception in the evening. The atrium area is attractive and relaxing. Food service at Rocky River Grille is also excellent. Staff is attentive and friendly.

This is one of my favorite hotels since it offers nearly everything you'll need under one roof. The added space, privacy, and amenities of the 2-room suites only adds to the appeal of this upscale, professionally run hotel, and I always look forward to stays here.

The atmosphere was soothing and professional... The food was a delight... Except for my wife who is a vegetarian to whom only it fish products with her vegetables... They served her 3 times back to back uncooked salmon... So, she may have a lower score than I... Moreover, I would like to add that the staff were very pleasant...

This is like all the other embassy suites out there. I've stayed overnight a few times for our company holiday party. It's clean and the rooms are nice sized. It's well located near the speedway and Concord mills area. About 20 minutes from uptown Charlotte as well. This is a Hilton property as well so you know what to expect when you stay.

Came for a work conference and had a great time. The room was clean and well-appointed. Love that they are all Suites and have a separate sitting area from the bedroom. The conference area has many different room styles that accommodated iron meetings wonderfully. The catering services they offered had had a variety of choices.

Pillows were tiny, the size of accent pillows. We had to call the front desk a couple of times before they brought up normal sized pillows. We stay at the Embassy suites because the breakfast is usually great. It was not. The only food that seemed to be fresh was the cooked to order items which made the lines very long. Jeremy, the waffle dude, was very nice and worked quickly. Unlike the omelette girl who was more interested in trying to impress every one than being an efficient cook. Everytime she tried to flip something in the air it landed somewhere other than the pan. We will not return to this location.

Great hotel. This hotel is pet friendly and it's located in close proximity to Concord Mills Mall and the Charlotte Motor Speedway. They have a great breakfast buffet each morning. They have a great indoor pool. Outside, they have a conveniently located pet area with plastic baggies to pick up poop. They have great staff as well.

Two thumbs up.

The hotel was nice but there were kids running around and yelling until after midnight. We called the front desk who indicated that they were sending security but it didn't seem to help. If not for that I would rate higher, I wish they had been more responsive about fixing the issue. Breakfast was good so not all bad.

Very helpful and polite staff.. The suite was extremely clean and had everything right at hand. The restaurant was great and the server was completely attentive. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the patio has an awesome fireplace! Finally I want to mention the breakfast. The young woman making the omelettes was fantastic! Her personality and service were both superior!

Beautiful place, love the free breakfast and managers special every day. Complimentary wifi for Hilton honors members. Beds could be a tad more comfortable, but they were not bad at all. Pet friendly. We evacuated from Hurricane Irma so this was a nice alternative in a quick trip.

The rooms were very clean. The decor is not brand new/modern but everything is in nice condition and it has a homey/comfortable feel. Everyone had a furry friend but I never once heard barking and it did not smell in the rooms. My meow and pup thoroughly enjoyed their stay; with the dog readily snuggling on the couch/bed and the meow racing between the two windows being nosey. Nice greenery to walk the dog and the meow is toilet trained; bring litter box and supplies if yours is not. The breakfast was way better than most hotels free breakfast AND they have **Starbucks** in their lobby. I would definitely stay again.

Our room was great, the only issue was the mini fridge did not really seem like it was cold enough inside. I have a 12 month old still using breast milk so a working fridge is important. However, we had no other issues with the room. We also used the conference center during our stay for meetings. The staff was very helpful at lunchtime getting a high chair for my son. The food served at lunch was also wonderful.

Just settling into bed for the night and cannot wait to get out of here. My wife found whiskers on the bathroom towels, the lamp bases are rusting, and we didn't get an abiding "clean" feeling. I called before arrival to get a pack-&-play and had to request again once inside my room. Glad I brought a crib sheet from home because none were provided when I set up the pack-&-play. I also had to make the bed on the pullout, which I know isn't the standard. We spent a week at the downtown Denver Embassy, and they had the pullout sheets expertly tucked each day. I'm trusting the omelette station in the morning will meet expectations, so I don't need to revise to 1 or 2 stars. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I've stayed at enough Hilton properties to know this one is tired and needs some refreshing.

Everyone was courteous and the entire place was clean when we arrived. And beat of all, when we got to our room ,the A.C. had been turned on and it was cool and worked very well my entire stay here. Free popcorn, lemonades, and cookies was great as well. If I had only 1 compliant, the pool was really cloudy. Nice hotel, we will be back!!!!

The hotel is great ! Beautiful and clean . The staff is friendly , professional , and accommodating . The breakfast bar was delicious and plentiful . I would recommend checking the bedside clock. We didn't realize it had the wrong time on it, so we got up 2 hours earlier than we wanted or intended to. I also suggest skipping the restaurant. Although the food was good , the selections were very minimal and the prices were outrageous ! Whoever heard of not having baked potatoes and salad in a high dollar eatery? All in aĺl, I would recommend this hotel and we will definitely go there again .

Stayed here while doing an overnight visit to Charlotte. The atrium/lobby was nice, complete with a wishing fountain in the center. Very quiet room with everything you could need. Didn't get to the Manager's Reception but it's a great concept.

My only complaint was that the breakfast area seemed a bit overcrowded. Like 20 people at one table crowded. Don't know if they were all staying there or someone arranged to have a free family reunion, but the hotel should look into checking the vouchers they hand out at check in.

Good...But could be better.
We picked this location based on the reviews. We loved the Room Service (which was delivered from the on-site restaurant "Rocky River Grille"). We (the kids) loved the heated indoor swimming pool and the excellent breakfast. We loved the proximity to the local restaurants/shopping/activities.
The opportunities include:
(1) The room key card never worked. Fortunately, we had the digital key.
(2) The room service delivered incorrect order; we ordered a kids version of 2 dishes; but received the main dish instead.
(3) The in-room telephone did not work but was quickly rectified by the hotel staff.

Will definitely come back. The 3 opportunities highlighted above are easy fixes for the management to address.

This was my first time at this property, but it want be my last. This was my wedding anniversary and we just decided go Concord, and I am glad we did. The hotel allowed me to check in early, and they even sent a complimentary bottle of wine for the occasion. My room was very nice, I always stay in a king bed and I slept very well, and the pillows were very comfy. The breakfast was very delicious and exceeded my expectations for hotel food. With the made to order omelets that was very good. Please leave the cook a tip she really does a wonderful job making those omelets. I really enjoyed my stay and the staff was very professional and very helpful. This property has a shuttle that can take you the concord mills mall, also please tip the driver! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone that is looking for a great place to stay.

Originally 3 stars, but so LIVID after going to the hotel bar (Rocky River) tonight. Ignored by the completely crappy bartenders for 10 minutes until I could finally order. Then waited 45 minutes for 12 wings and fries. Tried to get the servers attention to cancel my order and get my money back... But guess what... Ignored for 15 minutes. Finally got one of the servers' attention and got some really bad attitude about getting my money back. I am NOT HAPPY.

Good breakfast food. Friendly staff. Boo on them for stopping their food service @12 am ... Midnight Munchies!!!

The hotel itself is fine but the indoor pool area needs some serious attention. The pool is so over chlorinated your eyes burn just being in the room, children were coughing and my grandson was complaining about his eyes an hour after leaving the pool. The tiles in the pool area are slick ceramic and covered in water constantly, a real sliding hazard, and I saw small children slip and fall more than once. The staff was lovely and the rooms were fine.

The rooms were very clean, spacious and excellent view from 10th floor. Despite being busy and noisy in the common areas my room right next to elevator was very quiet. Rooms seem sound proof. The managers reception was greatly lacking in that cherry tomatoes/crudites, tortilla chips and self serve lemonade/water/tea with no manager or staff present doesn't equate manager's reception. HOWEVER the breakfast was amazingly diverse in choices and plenty of staff keeping everything clean and freshly stocked. One of the best breakfasts ever.

Dinner for two was over $100 for an appetizer, chicken entree with side salad and petite filet with 3 shrimp. No alcohol, no, dessert. The chicken won ton appetizer was delicious but the rest was strongly lacking and I had to send my meal back due to undercooked chicken :( they just brought me the meal back cooked up in a box because my guest had finished the steak quickly. Petite was such an understatement that I truly thought that it was l left off the plate being under 2 inches in circumference.

I would for sure stay again but I would not visit the Rocky River Steak house it didn't have any value other thank my very pregnant servers great service. The service as a whole was fantastic throughout (except I think the restaurant manner should have stopped at my table or adjusted my bill at the least...especially since only one other table was seated while we were there) and since I went for the Embassy Suites not the meal that is why I gave it 5 stars.

I checked into my room and didn't know a maintenance request had been put in on the room I was checked into. So I was out of my room for about 20 minutes. However, that did not take away from the experience. I'd rather have the issue fixed without having to complain about it. All needs were met. Love the complimentary drinks and breakfast was great as well! Jacuzzi has a little to much chlorine for me but still enjoyed it. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to stay again!

Wonderful staff and great 2 room suites. With kids it's nice to have the separate rooms. With free buffet full breakfast and a managers reception at night (free drinks) it's a great place to stay.

Wonderful experience for me and my family. Very impressive hotel. Nice rooms. Clean. Comfortable beds. Very nice Honors perks. Great location. Great part of town. Close to all the action and restaurants. Want to try the golf course one day. Breakfast was great. Will stay again in the future.

Rooms were nice and well kept. Staff was excellent and courteous. They were running low on a few things like soft drinks, and the internet had trouble handling everyone on it (though there were a lot of us on using a lot of network resources).

Wonderful property with full range of amenities. Suite double is large and comfortable. Great nights sleep on the just right mattress. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts. There is a full selection of foods plus omelets.

Had a King suite, very nice. Breakfast at the Embassy Suites was outstanding: there is a chef that makes omelets with the ingredients you choose. Golf course is next door - convenient.

Loved this hotel. Kids loved it as well. My three year old's new favorite hotel. He knows to look for the "E" on the building.

Fantastic breakfast included. Rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. Could use more power outlets in the rooms though.

Excellent location. Modern rooms and friendly staff. I had a room with a view of the golf course next door. I'll remember to bring my clubs next time.

I'm not a big review person and this is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel. However, the staff at the front desk, was amazing and on point for my last stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate my very late arrival. Room was great, air was turned down, and they also had dinner and drinks in the room at my request because the restaurant would have been closed. Serenity......I never got to thank you personally but I really appreciate you getting this done for me. Thanks so much!

Attended for half day for job training in one of the conference rooms. Lobby staff was great, and the cafe has excellent food and drinks. Currently undergoing some major renovation so certain areas are blocked off or heavily disrupted from construction

Ok first of all, Embassy is my favorite line in the Hilton chain. My family has plenty of room and the kids can sleep in one room while we watch TV in the other. Then, you get a good breakfast in the morning and free drinks in the evening... what more could you ask for! Well, a DVD player would be nice... I guess that's so you'll spend money on their movies. But I usually come here for work and being able to spread out my work on the desk and not on the bed is nice! And the staff is always super nice here. Thanks!

Our phone didn't work both nights we stayed. maintenance fixed it and it worked for about 30 min. We needed towels and couldn't call down because of the phone. We had to walk down to the front desk from the 7th floor twice. The towels never came, so we ended up sharing amongst ourselves. For a $250/night room that is unacceptable. I also called down (from my cell phone) to ask for them and they never came.

Very clean rooms with very attentive staff. The location is close to several well known landmarks in the charlotte/Concord area but it's off through beaten path so you fee like you aren't in the middle of a huge city. Really impressed with the decor, the staff, and the food.

The hotel itself was no problem at all but the restaurant leaves something to be desired in a big way. Our dinner Friday night left much to be desired as my prime rib was done more than what I expected & not blackened the way i would anticipate. we were one of 4 tables seated at the time & service just not as good as the rest of the hotel. Saturday evening we got back after the race had been rained out & although we had an offer to to the nearby mall we passed & went to the restaurant again, Just did not feel getting wet again for any reason. When we got to the entrance the hostess asked us to wait a minute & went to the back of the restaurant. When she returned said it would be a 45 min wait although tables were available. when we inquired as to why she told us not to shoot the messenger but was told not to seat anyone else, i inferred from her response that there was not enough help to wait on us or prepare the food. Said never mind & went to our rood where we ordered a couple of club sandwiches which were delivered in about 15 mins & very good. So i guess my complaint is how can they not prepare the food & serve at the restaurant for 45 mins yet get it to our room in 15 mins.Nice place but needs management overhaul. I also realize that the race was supposed to be going on & was cancelled but please address the 15 vs. 45 minutes. 3 star only because of the restaurant. needs work.

I was at the Embassy Suites in Concord NC on Sept 1st for a company meeting I approached the concierge, Frank and asked if they had the newspaper from the day before He said no but insisted on going to the store to get it for me. When I went back later to see if he had gotten it we had a conversation that made my day. We was courteous and compassionate when he found out why I needed the newspaper. Thank you Frank. THEN at the end of the meeting when I got back to my car I realized I had left my lights on and my battery was dead. I went back to the front desk and Jeremy and James were quick to help me get my car started with this neat little handheld charger.

Thank you Embassy Suites and your outstanding employees.

The staff at this hotel is the BEST of any Embassy Suites I have ever stayed. The hotel was packed with about five or six family reunions, so we were moved to a different room and it was much nicer than the one for which we had paid. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. My children were given a gift bag. The pool was clean and fully stocked with towels. We were running a bit late and didn't make it to the manager's reception, so someone from the staff - a very lovely lady - offered to send a drink up to my room. I actually forgot about it . . . but she didn't! And instead sent up a voucher for a free movie and dinner for two at the restaurant! How incredibly nice!!!! The staff was always smiling, asking if they could help in any way, and were on the spot whenever we had a question or needed anything. Breakfast was great. The manager's reception (the next evening) was well stocked. Also, there are so many restaurants and places to shop near by. We will CERTAINLY be staying here again!

On 11/9/14 my daughter had a coupon spend $100 get $50 off dinner. She invited me to accompany her family for dinner. As my grand daughter and I got to the restaurant before my daughter we notice that NO one was at the entrance to RRG, she then walked over to the Bar area where several employees were huddled together, she ask is the RRG is open, they said you had to come into that area. We told them that it would be a party of 5. We went to the table and Brittany (waitress) brought over a Game menu...we ask if this is the only food being served she said Yes, she said she would ask the Chef; she returns and says this is the only food we are serving today. We left and as I approached the front door, I spoke with Paula Hong at the front desk, and I quote "I want to complain/or have concern" she ask what was the problem I told her that the RRG was not serving a full menu tonight. She then said that on Sundays is slow night and called the back with no answer; so Paula walked to the back and return with both the Game menu and the regular menu and said Yes they are serving dinner. At this point my daughter and her family are also on site and we all walk back to the same location and the the same group of employees are huddled together again looking at a tablet as we walk pass them again and they NEVER LOOK UP or said ANYTHING....as we continue to walk down this walkway we realize that we need to turn around and go back to the lounge area (they were 1 bartender, another man with a black cap on, one blonde head women and one dark head women and Brittany). So we had to ask again is this the area to eat....AT THAT POINT Brittany says YES....I then say to her so why did you let us walk pass you....again she looks at us like we were speaking a foreign language. My POINT OF THIS IS......as employees in the customer service business CUSTOMER SERVICESHOULD BE #1. I then walk back to the front desk to speak to Paul Hong and complain about the unprofessional behavior of the staff. She than walk back with me to get the lounge mgr Jenn Adams. Ms. Adams spoke with me and I expressed my dislike like of how we were treated when we came in. Ms. Adams was not that convincing and she did apologize for the unprofessionalism of her staff. We finally settled in for dinner and the dinner was GREAT. Would I eat there again or recommend anyone NO! FYI...I use to be a secret shopper where we would go to different resturant and evaluate the food and customer service. This experience would have gotten low marks for customer service. Greeting customers is a MUST in this industry even if you don't know what they need, just to look up and smile...makes a person feel WELCOME and this reflects on the Embassy Suite. Receipt #1387
