If you are looking for a place to stay right next door to downtown Cincinnati, I highly recommend Embassy Suites!! The staff at check-in was very nice and friendly and answered all of my questions. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel, although there are plenty of food options within walking distance. They hotel room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and I did not hear any other guest noises. There was a decent thunderstorm while I was there, yes, thunderstorms may be heard! The complimentary breakfast was good with many options and a wonderful view of downtown Cincinnati. There are many more amenities here I did not have a chance to use such as the pool and exercise room. If I'm in Cincinnati, or northern Kentucky, again, I will stay here again.

The layout of the hotel is a bit strange with the lobby not being on the street level, but beyond that really loved this hotel along the Ohio River. Room was great and the staff was so friendly and nice. They took good care of us at our conference. Also loved the complementary breakfast, very filling.

Very nice hotel...second stay at this location. They are currently remodeling, so not as nice as it was the first time, but the staff here is always great! Beds are super-comfy and 48 inch flat screen LG HDTVs are a nice touch too. Noticed it is very quiet for an embassy as well, but it may just have been a slow night. They also kept their great complementary breakfast and manager's reception despite the construction...manager's reception even had a pretty decent local craft brew for free as well which was nice. Parking in the garage is a little tight if you have a larger vehicle. Overall very nice facility.

I attended the Embassy Suites for the murder mystery dinner held in one of its conference rooms. The view of the Ohio River from the conference room was stunning. My only complaint is the food (which comes from Embassy Suites). I had the vegetarian dinner. Pasta is so cheap to make, I was honestly shocked and in awe about how small my dish was (especially in comparison to the fish and chicken options -- which were small, too). You could triple the pasta on the small plate you gave me and still have room. This is a problem you need to address.

The stay was great, I know I loved it. I know it would've been a bit better after the construction, but it was still nice. The food was good, friendly staff, and a nice indoor pool. Overall a good place to stay.

I've stayed here before and it had previously been a pleasant experience. They are currently under renovation however, which they did not state while making my reservation so this stay wasn't great. The restaurant was closed, one elevator was out, and the entire place wasn't in the greatest shape. I'm sure once they have it done it will be great but this stay was not worth it. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nice view. Beautiful Ambiance. Located steps from the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. Parking available across from hotel which was free and parking garage at a fee. Again great views. You walk out take right and you are right there on the river. If I remember correctly a continental breakfast is provided and of course all your modern day amenities for your convenience.

Even though there is construction, the staff was excellent and helpful. They again, went out of their way to be kind and help. From the front desk staff, the people cleaning the rooms, the cook kin the breakfast buffet, the bartender at reception were all at the top of their game. Everyone we passed said hello and asked if we needed anything. Very pleased. Thank you

Under construction. They still managed to have breakfast set up in a conference room. Double beds were not great...wish they had queen...laundry room was HOT and the machines took ages to dry. Overall, not my favorite hotel, but the made to order omelets were nice.

The hotel is undergoing a much-needed renovation. There is nothing wrong, but there's also not much right. Everything is clean but feels very aged and in need of refreshing. As it stands, it does not reflect well on the Hilton or Embassy Suites brand, but hopefully it will once their project is completed.

We were there for a Sweet Adelines (women's barbershop harmony) Regional contest. So there were about 400 of us. Staff was very nice. Breakfast is good. Hotel restaurant staff was not nice. They put our reservation on the wrong day. When we showed up, they said we have for tomorrow. But they wouldn't make up for their error; said they couldn't seat us for at least 1 1/2 hrs and was rude about it. Also, the hotel was a bit chaotic during our stay because major lobby remodeling was under way. But I would go back and will. Our contest is there next year. 🙂

The hotel was being remodeled. The website warned that the lobby was being renovated so we were shocked at the scope of the remodel. The room was clean and comfortable. We paid a little extra for a riverside room and were very happy with that upgrade. Due to the inconvenience of the remodel, cthe hotel provided an extra Breakfastppointing as they weren't keeping up with the refills of food or utensils. The man making our omelettes was so pleasant and busy! One of the wait staff was rude to my son. When I asked another waitress what her name was she approached us and was still a bit rude but seemed sincere when she apologized to my son. Overall, I think this hotel will be beautiful when it is completed. The location is convenient. The river/city view is incredible.

This hotel will be really nice once the renovations are completed. 10$ for parking isn't bad for this location. Free breakfast (with omelette bar--wow) and free wifi. The staff are incredibly personable. I booked this for just over 100$ after tax. Great deal! But don't call the Hilton reservation number. They didn't even suggest it when I told them I only wanted to pay 100$. Priceline Rocks!

I'm not usually a picky person and I have worked a full time housekeeping at hotels before so I know it can be brutal sometimes, but our hide a bed sheets were not changed and the pillowcase actually had BLOOD on it. Also all thru the room there were huge orange stains on the carpet, and something orange had been thrown on the wall and not cleaned up. Other than that, the complimentary free laundry was very nice to have and the breakfast and evening snacks and drinks were a real treat. Over all we enjoyed our stay other than those 2 things.

This place is under heavy construction, very noisy. We stayed riverside, great view. You have to take elevator from street to another elevator to rooms. Luggage carts in stairwell, so you have to look around. Park on G4 level for easier access. Room was fine, breakfast was great. Happy hour with free alcohol

The housekeeping and front desk staff are extremely friendly! Also, the rooms are very nice, and feature modern amenities for guests. The main lobby is beautiful, and features a macaw bird that you can meet and talk to. My complaints are that you need to pay daily for high speed internet and to get water that isn't tap water you must pay $4 per small bottle.

The location of the hotel makes it easy to get to events down town. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was exceptionally good. The hotel is a bit dated and needs renovations and maintenance to keep current. Entry from the garage needs modification so it is easier to get into the hotel. Carrying bags up a flight of stair is not reasonable. We were told there was a path to avoid the stairs but were not able to find it.

The only turn off I had was the fact that they could care less that you're Gold or Diamond member. The rooms are nice, I chose a room that has an amazing view of the baseball field and the downtown area. The hotel is extremely clean with very friendly staff at breakfast. The desk staff just seemed to be there and in my opinion and only speaking about the 2 ladies I encountered, could care less.

Excellent hotel. Clean, quiet, great location. Breakfast is hot and fast, with a variety of choices. The coffee is pretty pathetic though, I think honestly it's instant. Weak and tasteless. Rooms are super quiet and comfortable. Excellent atmosphere. Clean! Downside is parking, and having to pay $10 parking a day. You get in/out privilege but the lot is tight. Pro is that in the winter you don't have to deal with snow since it's an attached garage. As with most Embassy's they do free drinks from 530-730. Nice. Anyways I'll be staying here again when I'm back in town.

Beautiful hotel, very clean. Parking was a little weird but doable. Staff was very professional, patient and polite. Rooms are gorgeous! So comfortable and have everything! The price was incredibly fair for the quality and cleanliness. We will stay here again!

Was at this site for a week long training seminar in the larger conference rooms. The tables and seats in the conference room were sturdy and felt comfortable during the 8.5 hour days we spent in them. The food and snacks were remarkably good, and the variety was very acceptable for the price point. Breakfast and lunch was well catered, and the coffee/drinks were always stocked. The lobby and bathrooms were always clean as well. Very impressed with the professional services here. Did not utilize a guest room during this visit.

We liked our stay so much in June we came back this weekend. Friendly staff, great views, Emmy the parrot is a hit with the children, and the pool is small but great to wear the kids out! Happy hour was a great but nothing to the above average breakfast! We will stay again on our trips!

Went there on a high school trip in 2001. At the time it seemed fairly new and everything was in order. Security was good, trust me. We came very close to being kicked out for mooning the atrium. Nowadays we'd probably be arrested. Somehow we got the adult channels on the TV without ordering. If I'm ever back in the region, I'd stay again just to relive old memories. At the time they were building a new baseball stadium and we got to see the old one. We all got so sunburned that the pool felt heavenly that night.

Great location, easily walkable to Riverfront Cincy. Great and accommodating staff make up for the older rooms and dated decor. Rooms are clean though and spacious. Pro tip - breakfast can be a bit stale between 8-9am so plan accordingly.

Definitely not up to par with the other Embassy Suites I've stayed. The information for in and out privileges was a mess. The elevators smelled horrible. The hallways stayed dirty. The bathroom looked to be not finished. Needed painted and updated. Steps up from the parking garage were old, outdated and you shouldn't have to carry your bags up stairs. This is 2017! Elevators from lobby were on both sides which meant that you were often forced to walk to the other side of the hall after you pressed the elevator call. Totally inconvenient. Just not a good setup. Excellent location...but not a good setup. Bar happy hour was the best. Will not stay here again.

My family recently stayed at this hotel in room 718. The common areas of the hotel were nice, my kids really liked the macaw in the lobby. My wife was a bit angry when she found out that a half used bar of soap was left in the shower and our 8 year old daughter used it. The staff working breakfast was exceptionally courteous.

Pretty nice. Good breakfast. Coffee and juice in the morning. My room was spacious, and I like the separate living/sleeping areas. Close to suspension bridge, so it's a nice short walk to downtown Cincinnati. I thought about staying in downtown Cincinnati, but I'd probably choose this place again if I come back.

The location is amazing. My view or of the window is partially blocked by a building, but the view I do see is spectacular. The rooms are bigger than my apartment. The first staff member I met seemed grumpy when I checked in but the next shift was pleasant.

Aside from the public posting garage and having to get on two different elevators to get to the lobby, the hotel is great. The staff was helpful and nice. I'm visiting for work, and when I arrived there weren't rooms ready due to my early arrival. I had to get to my conference, my things were stored and I was sent a text when the room was ready (minutes later) but I proceeded to my conference and checked in later. Great room, great breakfast, awesome location.

Our room was fantastic; spacious, well appointed, comfortable, with a massive cloud for a bed. We were lucky enough to have a river view was so great that we just left the curtains open and feel asleep to the lights if the city across the water (plenty far enough away that no one could see in). Highly recommended!

Very nice staff. Breakfast was good. However, the room was dated and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. We ended up using our own data most of the time. We have been to a few other Embassy suites during our travels and expected a room that was more "kept up". Typically, this chain of hotels is very clean and kept. However the room we stayed in seem to be very old and in need of a fresh coat of paint. (Also, some plumbing work) Pipes were exposed and the vents in the rooms looked very old.

STOP LOOKING YOU FOUND THE ONE!! This hotel was GREAT!! kids loved it, we loved it!! They has a parrot I'm the lobby, and little water fall and glass elevators which kids thought was just the coolest. Rooms were very clean, beds were heaven, pool was warm and clean, has a great view, the staff was friendly and helpful and the whole hotel smelled AMAZING the breakfast was GREAT! so many choices you can even have made to order and its all included in the price which in my opinion was a GREAT price! We will definitely be going back! Very very very impressed!!!

Nice location, huge room, and overall very good place to stay. Small issues like first set of key cards not working, only one tiny flat pillow for the pullout bed and a few bright red stains on the carpet (looked like juice or wine stains). Also the geography of the area made it where the main entrance and garage access was on there own set of levels different from the main lobby, weird but understandable given the area.

This hotel was easy to find off the highway, staff was accommodating to our requests, and had a vallet service. The room was comfortable, very spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. Our visit overall was pretty nice. The two room suite we stayed in was updated, except the restroom. The tub didn't drain quickly, was super slick, and looked kind of dirty. But the rest of the room made up for it. We had a view of the river and it was pretty at night. The only other complaint we had was the size of the pool.

To this day I have never stayed in an Embassy Suites that has been less than expected. This hotel followed suit. Rooms and hotel were pristine. You could always see staff cleaning this and that throughout the hotel. The location was perfect for our needs. Right outside are shuttles ($1 charge) to take you around the area. Hotel sits on the river with a beautiful view of downtown Cincinnati and the stadiums. Complimentary cook to order breakfast and free adult beverages and snacks at the Manager's reception just topped it off. Drew (bartender) was great!
Parking was convenient but pricey $14/day. But that is to be expected when you stay downtown.

The hotel itself is nice overall. Bathrooms could use some improvements though. There were multiple issues that needed addressed. We chalked it up to being an older building. But other than that it was great. Breakfast buffet was nice! More than your average continental

Good location, amazing view!! Make sure you pay for the riverview room. Overall it wasn't super clean or new but it was comfortable. There was also a youth convention going on so the lobby was very loud up to 11:45 pm. Did I mention the view was amazing!?!

The reason I stay here over any other option is the managers special, wherein the guests are offered an open bar for a couple hours in the evening every night. The rooms are nice; breakfast is hot, varied, and fresh; employees are more than accommodating. But I come for the free drinks and will continue to do so, and recommend any Embassy Suites on that basis alone.

WOW!!!! We got an incredible deal through Priceline and we were not disappointed. There is a reception in the evenings that include free cocktails and snacks and the breakfast was AMAZING!!! Not to mention the breakfast staff- was SO SWEET. The room was very modern, up to date and CLEAN. The pool area was very nice. Would DEFINATELY stay here again!!! The only downfall is the setup is kind of confusing. You enter at street level, and there is no one there to assist you... you have to figure out that you take the (semi hidden) elevators up to the Lobby and then another elevator- quite a bit away from the reception desk, up to the rooms... but not a deal breaker :)

It's the same as Embassy Suites everywhere else. They are pretty basic, but they give you lots of room. Breakfast is free comma nothing to get too excited about but there's an omelet bar. The ice maker on the 7th Floor wasn't working when we first arrived. We reported it to engineering and it started producing ice several hours later. We were there to attend a sporting event, it offers a beautiful view of Cincinnati as well as convenient access to both stadiums if you don't mind walking across the bridge

The stay at the Embassy Suites was excellent. The staff was very friendly and provided the most prompt service. The happy hour was well staffed and served well prepared drinks. The location is great due to its distance to Newport and is walking distance from a few nice pubs. Only complaint is that the seating area for breakfast was lacking in capacity.

Great hotel! Newly renovated rooms are very nice, and the view over the river to Cincinnati is just stunning. The breakfast bar, with its omelet station, is the perfect way to wake up. The lobby is fun after a hard day of work or sightseeing. Free drinks and a parrot named Emmy brought a nice smile to our faces. Love this hotel!

Spectacular View from the 6th floor corner suite!! The room was literally inbetween Paul Brown Stadium and the Great American Ballpark.. Room was nice, had snacks, select keurig cups and brewing machine, soda, water, fridge and microwave. The carpet was an interesting design, kinda made me sick with the pattern and color, bathroom walls were patchy and needed repair, Air worked great, Hotel staff was courteous and respectful. Valet was phenomenonal! All around great hotel, Located right on the Ohio River on the KY Side in Covington. A little pricey but didn't mind that. Would definitely recommend to family, friends and will stay there again in the Future. Go REDS!!!!

Hotel room was clean upon check-in. Breakfast was good and included, had a special order section but line was long. Have a talking parrot!

The bed was incredible and the location was amazing with a great view. The couch was awful and the shower got stuck up after just three uses.

I've stayed here several times over the years. Service is spectacular everywhere in the hotel from check in to check out. The morning breakfast is always good and the evening reception is nice. The only issue I have is with the shower stall. Plastic insert with cracked seams that appear dirty even when clean. The rest of the bathroom was nice and a stark contrast to the tired shower and tub. Location is great and the bed are as comfortable as any you'll find.

I stay in embassy suites across the country a few times a year and this location ranks about average compared to other Locations. The proximity to the City and other major destinations made this the perfect location. We utilized the $1 shuttle several times a day and if you dont mind sitting near interesting characters i recommend using this service considering the route hits all the major areas and the stop is directly infront of the hotel. The breakfast compared to other locations was horrible. All the food seemed to be out of a can including the eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The happy hour had good snacks, short lines, and friendly bartenders. However, the alcohol used for the free drinks had about the alcohol content of mouthwash so either bring your own or pay for the good stuff. Rooms were clean and big, views were great, pool was decent, and staff were helpful. I did expect a little more from an Embassy, but compared to other hotels this is your best bet for the area.

Food is tainted with MSG, even coffee in room is adulterated with chemicals! No gluten free menu, despite being told there was when reservations were made. Front desk is difficult. Parking tickets validated? Think again! You'll have to go get it validated repeatedly. Bell staff are very attentive. Maid service seemed ok. So, don't eat here, don't park here, and opt for automated checkout and argue any discrepancies through your credit card company.Or better yet, stay elsewhere.
