Service at check in was super friendly. Room seemed clean. I get cold easily, but I was hot all night. A/C was on, but only serviced living room. No fan in bathroom. Beds are double and I just wish they had rooms with 2 kings. Maids kept knocking all morning to clean the room. That should just wait on a Saturday morning! Breakfast is good.

The rooms need some serious updating. They look like they are out of the 80's. The couch and chair was so old I was afraid to sit on them. The carpet also is old and dated. For the price I expected more. The breakfast buffet is a nice touch and was pretty good You have to go early if you want a made to order omelette bc the line gets really long. Over all it is a nice hotel and very enjoyable.

Just leaving after a quick weekend trip, but this place was GREAT! I had read about the room renovations going on so I wasn't too surprised or disapointed by that. My room wasn't remodeled, but was still spotless and clean despite being rather outdated. Check-in was quick and easy as well (and friendly customer service). Free, courtesy shuttle to & from the DFW Airport as well as the Grapevine Mills shopping mall just down the street. Also, can't beat the happy hour/evening reception with complimentary snacks and drinks as well as the hot ready to order breakfast buffet (large selection) every morning. Wish I could've stayed longer, but for the short trip it was definitely worth it and I would definitely return in the future!

This review is based upon an event my company booked, and as an overnight guest. We arrived at about noon and were told that our rooms were not available yet. No worries. We grabbed lunch then after lunch checked if at least a few rooms are available so that the staff could change before the event. Nothing. Our event was planned to start at 5 however we could not check in until 4. The hotel did not let AMYONE check in until 4 after we had agreed beforehand that the staff could check in at 1. It was a terrible lack of management and foresight by management. I would not recommend, and would highly recommend against corporate events in the future.

Very comfortable hotel. Unique open atrium in center. Rooms face both outside and internal open air center atrium. Great no upcharge happy hour each day.. Beer, wine, cocktails, snacks. Rooms slightly dated but comfortable. Would love to stay again.

Been coming to this property since 2000, use to be super comfortable, everyone exceeded your expectations type hotel.

Overall it's become a whatever type place, attitude isn't "how can we make your day", it's more like "what do you want" the younger folks at the front desk, Starbucks, Bar Tender, she wasn't interested. Eric was very attentive, served us dinner, made recommendations, good hospitality manners. The beds were very comfortable, pillows not so good. Bathroom 329 faucet sprays all over.

The attention to detail, needs attention, that's all....

PS Big mistake not having the gentleman that used to work as a concierge, you know who I'm talking about.

Stayed one night. Check in staff were very courteous and helpful. Room was nice, 2 full size beds with separate living room space. Free drinks and snacks served in the evening. Breakfast was cooked to order & buffet included in stay. Delightful place.

Very nice place. We attend a cattle sale here, at the hotel, that in itself is pretty cool! The rooms are nice, spacious. The inside is beautiful. Love the "clouds". The pool is stunning, there's a patio area. The staff was very friendly, and very helpful. The valet parking was easy. There is so much to do in the hotel itself. You really don't have to leave if you don't want to. We went to bucks a few times, it was good.

One of my favorite girls! My company uses it for a conference location and it's absolutely perfect for that. They have a made-to-order omelet bar along side a well varied breakfast buffet full of delicious food! The staff are kind and courteous and the rooms have always been well cleaned and cared for. As a person who has stayed in many hotels over the years, I very much appreciate their attention to detail. Their lobby is also newly renovated and beautiful! 5 stars, will stay again 👍🏻

As a Diamond member, i value staying at Hiltons across the world. Next week I am going to give this hotel a second shot. Last time, I was in a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony. After a long day of travel I was really looking forward to just sitting on the balcony with a adult beverage and working on some things for next day. as I started to get settled in I heard some noise in the balcony I opened up the shade and these gigantic birds were sitting on the balcony and on the ledge and there was bird feces all over the entire balcony. There went my idea of sitting in the balcony and hanging out for a bit. It was definitely not sanitary by any means. I ask the front desk if I could change rooms and unfortunately there was no other room available for me to change over to. The whole night I spent hearing the birds in the balcony and it wasn't even an option to change to the other bedroom somebody was sleeping in that room. I visit Dallas very frequently on a monthly basis and will be staying at this hotel again next Wednesday. hoping to give it another shot.

Usual Embassy Suites experience. Airport shuttle service from DFW. Usual Embassy Suites breakfast and happy hour.

Signage in hotel saying room remodel starting summer of 2018. Rooms are very clean, but rather dated in appearance

Staff needs to be complemented, as very friendly and helpful. From front desk to bartender, everyone much friendlier than usual airport hotel. Greeted by name by front desk clerk on second evening.... totally unexpected.

Nice place. All rooms surround the atrium. The room was dated and the bed was bouncy. My husband had little sleep all 4 nights we were there. The bathroom needed an extractor fan. The hotel is about to undergo major room updates.
The central atrium is cold. Take a jacket!

I've been going to the Embassy Suites since 2013 and it has been a positive experience every year. Rooms are awesome, the new renovation is awesome. I loved the old look with the waterfalls, but I also love the new cafe look also. The breakfast is great!

Housekeeping was great! Brought extra pillows right up! Our grandchildren loved the pool! Lots of kids to play with. The new remodel is beautiful! We were there last year when it was a concrete nightmare...but the kids still had a great time in the pool! Friendly, warm staff go over and above to accomodate your stay!

It has a wonderful ambience. A very lofty atrium in which you can enjoy a great breakfast buffet with omelets and such. And the room I stayed in via Priceline had a tasteful mountain/countryside style decor; it almost felt like being at a national park lodge. Top that off with a complimentary happy hour with free booze and treats and an enclosed saltwater pool/spa, hot showers, nice linens, etc; it exceeded all my expectations. Great place for families.

The rooms were what you would expect from Embassy. Clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We were there for a wedding so there were several guests staying across 2 floors. Everything was good as far as the room and breakfast are concerned. There were a couple of shortcomings with the service at our event but to my knowledge most of those were resolved. For the room and service this is a good place to stay.

The ground floor lobby is impressive and gave us great expectations for what our room would be like. Boy were we wrong. Besides the dated look of the rooms which wasn’t a big deal, The shower that I was looking forward to after a day out shopping had absolutely no hot water. Not even warm water. We paid extra for one of the 12 floor penthouse suite with a balcony because my wife and I brought wine back to the room and were planning on sitting on the balcony to enjoy our evening and our wine. Well the balcony, it’s chairs and table were covered in so much bird poop that it couldn’t be used. As soon as you opened the balcony door you could smell the stench of the patio. It came time to go to bed and the bed was horribly uncomfortable. My kids toddler bed has a better quality mattress. After a terrible nights sleep I woke to give the shower another shot and still no hot water. Very disappointed in our stay.

Really was hoping that our stay would be nice. Everyone was very friendly and the floor level is very nice. When you get to the room it is different. Our room was very dated and musty. You can see from the pictures that it needs to be repaired. Woke up with a horrible migraine from the smell of the room. I have stayed in lower end hotels and payed much less money that were in better shape than this one was.

I live in the area but my daughter wanted to go swimming for her birthday so we booked a visit to Embassy since they have an indoor pool. When we got there we found out the heater in the pool was broken leaving it ice cold. The pool was the only reason we booked the room. My daughters were very disappointed....
Edit: So I called up to the Embassy and talked to a really nice lady and she did what she could to make it right. I appreciated the effort.

Checking in was a bit slow because there is no line, just whoever takes it first. Other than that, everything else was great. They have a Starbucks and a bar, but we had food provided by the event. The 2 bedroom is spacious and had a great view. The breakfast was also great, and checking out was definitely easier.

Stayed here several times over the years, good location and they've remodeled the atrium, but the seating furniture in the rooms sure need replacing. The atrium is very noisy especially when children are present and echoes up to the top floors. A little overpriced for my budget though.

Had my wedding here. There were quite a few issues including the lights not working at the ballroom (stuck on full brightness during the entire reception), mix up with what we had rented vs not rented. But overall a good experience as it was a beautiful venue and things were corrected when possible.

Nice view, and beautiful rooms! WiFi was a little iffy and sometimes not usable. Been a guest here a few times. I love the open bar in the evenings. Great place to hang out and unwind in the evenings. Years past, the options were great, but this year the options were very limited. Lone Star was the only beer, and the margarita kind of tasted like powder mix, but open bar is open bar so I won't complain. They have gone through a remodel, and are still in progress, but they have done a great job of not letting it impact your experience as a guest. Overall, would recommend.

The staff here is wonderful, and the little perks at Embassy are great. The complimentary breakfast is actually very good and the evening happy hour is nice. The atrium is undergoing a renovation and will be beautiful when it's finished, but they would have been smarter putting that revenue into the rooms. The decor is drab and dated and the beds feel like the dreaded garage sale special in your parent's spare room. The sleeper sofa was truly awful, and I'm sorry my girls were stuck on it...they make comfortable sleepers now, and there's no excuse for not having them here. I love Embassy as a rule, but won't be returning here.

The rooms and hotel are very nice, but it was under construction at the time. I think the construction was being handled well, but it will definitely be much nicer once all the blocked off areas are completed.

My only complaints are: 1) The layout wraps all the rooms around a large atrium. There were some loud guests in the atrium, and in the living room area of the suite it sounded as if they were just outside. 2) The wifi was pretty bad. sitting at the small desk in the room, I'd frequently lose connection, or it would temporarily be too slow to do anything. Same thing on my laptop and phone.

Rooms very big. Hotel was pretty good. They are in the middle of renovations so that took away from the niceness but I'm sure the improvements will make the hotel 5 stars. I was there on business, conference rooms were nice.

We have stayed in this specific location a few times now. The service has always been great and the location is perfect distance to the mall and food locations. In the mornings they have made to order omelets and hot and cold breakfast items. Free parking and indoor pool. They are currently in the middle of renovations but the noise is not even heard most of the time. This is always a go to spot for us when we come to metroplex area.

My family and I come to shop at Grapevine two or three times a year and we always stay at Embassy Suites DFW North. Their FREE breakfast is so upscale with fresh pancakes and omelettes made to order and lots more! The hotel and staff has always been amazing and the hotel is currently in the process of remodeling their atrium. So far it looks magnificent! The rooms are always clean and comfortable and they have many conference rooms which I have never had the satisfaction of being in, but I'm sure they're lovely. They have a shuttle that will take you to and from the mall nearby if you need transportation and they have many "stay and play" packages for families. Just a tip though, if you reserve a premium suit with the snacks and drinks in the room, your room will be on the 11th floor or possibly the 12th. So if you have a child afraid of heights or elevators, you may want to book a standard room and just buy your own snacks and drinks. I do overall, highly recommend this hotel for any type or guest or visitor!

I only use them for airport parking and they are a great option for that. They are one of the cheapest park and fly options and located close to the airport. They drop you off at your terminal and pick you up. You have to call them when you arrive back at DFW but I have never waited more than 15 minutes to be picked.

As a liyal Hilton Honors member I was quite disappointed to find the hotel was under major Construction I arrive to check in at 11:50 p.m. at night only to find one person behind a temporary desk with a line of for people to check in he was very nice but there was nothing he could do.

The next day I got them for breakfast went down at 8:55 a.m. sat down with a cup of coffee to relax looked up in the buffet was being broken down at 9:01. Due to the construction it forces you to sit at big round tables banquet Style with people that you do not know. I've been went to the front desk to ask where the business center was only to be told there was none but if there was something I need it copied they could do it for me.

As you can imagine I should have booked at the Hilton across the street rather than the Embassy Suites you should be notified as a Hilton member if a hotel is under construction I will say all the people I interacted with your professional and very nice.

Rooms are always welcoming and comfortable. I travel extensively and Embassy Suites offer nice rooms. The price was a little high and this particular Embassy is doing some construction upgrades. The prices are up because of the vacation season, normally they're more reasonable. The breakfast offered in the morning has always been good.

I've stayed here for business many times over the last 5 years. The location is very convenient for my needs (5 minutes from the airport and 10-15 min from Westlake) They are almost finished with a hotel renovation which looks good and really brightens up the 1st floor. I am not sure if they renovated the rooms (they look mostly the same) but the rooms are good size and clean. Although the hotel is connected to Uncle Bucks restaurant and to a Bass Pro store, it is 10 minutes from most other food or entertainment locations.

Went for a family reunion and the staff were all very helpful and so sweet. Unfortunately the rooms are very outdated especially for the price. It really didn't feel like a 4 star hotel. It was also very warm and humid in the building. The wifi for guests was incredibly slow and would kick you off every few minutes, I couldn't even stream a movie. It's better than a motel but it feels about the same quality as a La Quinta or something like that

Service and rooms were great and even though they are renovating they still had their amazing breakfast available in the morning. Stayed here once and loved it. Plenty of parking and the interior is really nicely decorated with wood and stone. The room rates are of course pricey, over $200. I had a huge room with a king bed. Very clean and comfortable. The towels were kind of rough (like they had been cleaned with a rough bleach too much) so just putting that out there. But the breakfast was crazy good. There was breakfast biscuits (made on spot), eggs, grits, bacon, fruit salad, bagels, etc. Left full and happy.

Shift change must have been hell on the bartender coming in because he didn't want to pour my whiskey and coke until he filled all the glasses of beer people around me (after I had ordered). The event dinner was very good after the bar experience though. Nice place to host a dinner event as long as you don't go near the bar during shift change from what I can tell.

Relax & unwind.. Breakfast cooked to order is always a nice touch. Managers Reception to gather with aquaintences is fun. Suites are nicely appointed. A little wear, but plans to update are announced on bulletins.
Great service with friendly smiles.
Would diffinitely stay again..

Its so convenient to the Grapevine Mills Mall and Legoland. Gaylord Hotel Great Wolf Lodge. The rooms are larger than most other Embassy Suites. Hotel staff is very helpful and seems to like their jobs. Would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a long-term stay or a quick overnight stay.

Our room was ready earlier than stated and the front desk was extremely helpful despite not having our entire party available and through numerous requests for room accommodations.

The room was clean and smelled as if a cinnamon air filter was used in the vents.

The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family. Breakfast and the evening reception were great. The drinks were quite strong but that was okay with us.

The only complaint is the pool temperature. We were looking forward to swimming only to find the pool too cold to stay in for long. A few degrees warmer and it would be perfect.

This hotel was way more than we expected. The buffet is amazing. Happy hour is so generous. The room wasn't perfect, but everything else more than made up for it.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is next to EVERYTHING...shopping, food, airport, highways, Gaylord Texan, Great Wolf Lodge, etc. The hotel itself is amazing...great staff everywhere, awesome breakfast, fantastic social, good restaurant on-site, connected to Bass Pro and its restaurant, etc. The room is a clean and spacious suite. Two full rooms...one bedroom and a living area. It has worked out well for once the kids go to bed allowing for wind-down time. We will definitely stay here again.

I was actually here at a conference meeting. This is a great location quick access to the airport. The banquet hall is outstanding. If the food was actually prepared at the hotel which I don't know if it was for sure then these people really make some great food

This is our favorite place to stay in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The downstairs is really pretty, with a little stream and a glass elevator. A huge parking lot, free cocktails in the evening, and a really amazing breakfast buffet are all included. The rooms tend to be big and clean, and the place is pretty quiet at night. My only complaint is that the breakfast buffet can get crowded, and they need more seating and more staff to run it/clean up around it. Otherwise this is a great hotel at a very reasonable price.

Location is convenient, on-site restaurant is very good. I stayed here because we were meeting during the day in a conference room, but not sure I would pay this much otherwise. Breakfast option was very good.

The rooms need some serious updating. They look like they are out of the 80's. The couch and chair was so old I was afraid to sit on them. The carpet also is old and dated. For the price I expected more. The breakfast buffet is a nice touch and was pretty nice. You have to go early if you want a made to order omelette bc the line gets really long. Over all it is a nice hotel and very enjoyable.

Started in a suite overnight. Reception was friendly and directed me to my room. Ron was clean and cool, the staff had turned on the lights and lowered the temperature in the room for my arrival. Slept well and breakfast was good in the morning to get the day started. The shuttle to and from the airport was nothing special, just a large van but it is a quick ride, about 10 minutes.

We used their parking service with a shuttle to the airport. Much more affordable than parking at DFW. The lady at the desk was very helpful. The shuttle before we arrived had been full of people and their luggage, so they were delayed in making the next regular half hour interval on their trips back and forth. A taxi was called for me and paid for by the hotel. We arrived with plenty of time to get checked in and go through security. I will definitely use them again!

Spent a couple of nights here this week and was not really impressed. A couple of things contributed to my impression. This is a business hotel. They're constantly running conventions in and out of here. In a business hotel, you have to have stable and consistent internet access. The wifi was almost useless. It was slow and often dropped connection. Sometimes it wouldn't connect at all. I tried to use the hotel office with a couple of computers, again, the internet didn't work. This is the wired computers - no excuse. Rooms never cooled down like they should have. You'd set the thermostat to like 63 and it ran hard the whole time - never reaching anywhere near that. The pool was not available do to maintenance for the three days I was there. Twice we were told it would be open "tomorrow," and it was always still closed. I got bit by something both nights of my stay. Never say bed bugs, but I had the bites from something over the night. The one positive thing I can say about this hotel, the food was really good. The breakfast and lunch buffet provided to the conventions there was really stellar. Best hotel catered food I've ever had. Had it not been for that, this would be a one star experience.

First I have to tell you a little back story for you to understand. My grandmother is 80 years old and diagnosed with terminal cancer. She, more than anything, wanted a life celebration to see her loved ones and say goodbye. We chose the Embassy Suites for all of our out of town guests including my grandmother, they have a large lobby, great pool, and are close to everything. We were a very large crowd, over 70 members strong. We came from 8 states and descended on the Embassy Suites. I have never met a hotel staff so patient. From the night staff, to the bell hops, there was always someone to help with a smile and courteous manner. No one had a single complaint. The rooms were clean and large, the beds were comfortable, and the steakhouse delicious. Even when our air conditioner in my room stopped working, they were up to work on it in minutes. When they couldn't get it fixed they offered us a different room, then comped that night. They were so wonderful and made this experience the best it could be. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone!
