Shuttle service to airport was very slow. I called 3 times!!! Took over 30 min. Employees don’t seem to care that your in over 100 degree heat waiting. The hotel has 6 plus elevators. Only 1 or 2 working at a time. It says due to construction. Hotel was in shambles due to instruction.
The worst was got in late had an early flight, asked about pizza delivery. Hotel front desk gave me a phone number to call. I called that number they took my order. Over an hour later no pizza. Called the pizza place back, and they said they didn’t take orders to that hotel. Not only did they take our order one hour earlier they charge my credit card. The hotel said they deliver all the time. I don’t know, who knows what’s correct!!!
Not super clean.

Mr. Phillip Carpenter, the driver of the shuttle from the airport was a gem! And may I say Henry was especially welcoming in the a.m. at breakfast. The person who really stood out and made my visit exceptional is Itiano. He has been there for 14 years. He went above and beyond and I am so grateful for his efforts. All the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Outstanding service!!!

The hotel is getting a much needed make over and from the looks of the plans it will be very nice. Had dinner in the restaurant which was pizza and salad and both were very good! Service was good as was the hotel staff. Close to the airport and had transportation that ran every 15. Good place to stay.

I enjoyed staying here, staff is excellent. Restaurant was good, and they have a great breakfast as well as a nice evening reception with free wine and well drinks. I always enjoy coming to Dallas, I typically stay at a different Embassy suites but I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were clean and somewhat modern, although probably could use a refresher. Overall I would stay here again!

The service with every aspect of their operation is phenomenal. Food service is quick, the flavors rival any five star restaurant, and even the most difficult of dishes are cooked to perfection. The front desk is well trained and efficient. The house service is timely, and beautifully performed. Happy hour provides tastey snacks to accompany the best made drinks around provided by attentive and friendly tenders. The only thing keeping this rating at four stars rather than five is the renovations. One elevator available for guests, service personnel, and contract labor is just too much. Equipment, large carts, large bins, etc... Are hauled onto the same elevator's with the guests. Getting to catch an elevator can take up to 15 minutes at times, which is unacceptable. The beautiful atrium is under construction, as much of the hotel is, so, all the beautiful aesthetics is covered by tarps and dust. The renovations are understandable, but the elevator situation is an issue. Overall, the experience is one of the best we have ever had.

Aloha & Thank you to my new favorite shuttle driver Philip Carpenter! He single handily turned my major crises of experiencing a canceled flight on American Airlines from Atlanta going home to Hawaii into a golden opportunity to be the ambassador of positivity for both Embassy and for Dallas! He was not only a very good driver, but, was really friendly and very knowledgeable about showcasing so many well rounded opportunities for shopping, eating and for me to go sightseeing. I was really impressed with his awesome personality and hospitality skills. His knowledge saved me both time and money. As a frequent traveler, you don't come across incredible and dependable people like Philip! He makes you feel like family and turned my crises into a memorable experience that will for sure bring me back to Dallas to take my family and friends to make additional positive memories!

Mahalo & Thank you Philip!

Friendly, helpful staff at this location. Renovations were on going during my night there but I wasn't bothered by any noises or anything. I left too early to enjoy the me to order complimentary breakfast but the dining area was clean and separated from the construction. I had help with my bags both coming and going, by very kind staff. It was time to go before I knew it! I would recommend this Hilton Hotel for travelers arriving or departing from DFW. The location is perfect for getting to the airport quickly and with free shuttle service! Enjoy your next stay at a Hilton Hotel!

We stayed for a week in a 1 bedroom suite. The room was large with a lot of empty space for our kids to play. It was a little musty though and the carpet and curtains to the balcony were moldy. The room was otherwise clean and the hotel was quiet even with it sold out. The hotel was clean, pool was clean and nice to relax by but too cold for me. My husband and kids barely tolerated it. I liked the old quirky charm in this hotel. The food was decent and the staff were really great, they made the stay better and always greeted us warmly.

The hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation of the atrium. Lots of dust and noise during the day. The service and people are great as always. The rooms are dated but spacious, except for the bathrooms. It's very convenient to the airport and adjoining freeways.

This is 1 of our favorite places to stay. The Hotel is in a good location by the airport and down the road from great restaurants. Inside the magic begins, bridge over water walk ways, glass elevators, the rooms have amazing balconies and recently updated rooms. I did like the older layout and furniture but the refresh on the rooms was very needed. Elegant and classy!!

This location was awesome, we stayed on sight for 3 days and nights during a board exam review for our dental hygiene national exam. The continental breakfast we're delicious and well organized. The coffee was always plentiful. The only downfall was the seating in the lecture room, the first 2 days I got stuck in a seat the was where 2 tables joined, so I was stradling the table legs. The third day, I moved to the back of the room so I would be more comfortable. The room was very nice, I was just surprised how small the bathroom was.

This hotel was fairly nice but it felt a little outdated for the value. The suites were large but the bathroom was tiny - nearly to the point the door almost hit the toilet and was therefore difficult to close from inside. The closet was also tiny though i liked that there was a safe inside. Breakfast was excellent and the efficiency of the cooks was spot-on and I liked the expanded drink collection. I also really appreciated that the exit stairs could be used for general passage - I was on the second floor and could take the stairs instead of waiting for an elevator. I have not seen this in other Embassy Suites facilities. The conference rooms were nice as well as was the lobby. If I were in this area again I would be more apt to return if the rate were closer to say $150 than the nearly 240 a night I paid or if I were travelling with family to make better use of the suite.

The hotel is nice, a little outdated. The elevator system is very slow. The 2 elevators by the main lobby work very slow.
The gym, pool, and hot tub are adequate. The gym is nothing special. There are several cardio machines for a light workout.

The free breakfast buffet is awesome. The food was fresh and cooked to your taste.

The suites are somewhat outdated, but they did the job. Since the hotel is very close to Dallas Fort Worth airport, you need to expect hearing air traffic.

I stayed 1/25-1/27 for a seminar. The customer service surpassed my expectations. The staff was professional and courteous. The food was extremely delicious. The wait staff was well trained in handling a large group. The rooms were clean and large. I would recommend Embassy Suites to anyone visiting the area.

Had a suite with seperate sitting area in front. Which was perfect for team collaboration. Food was great at the pub and the restaurant, even the made to order breakfest was tasty. Pool table was nice break in the evenings. The courtyard was impressive view, running water was great touch. All around great stay!

Just stayed at this hotel for four days. The staff was wonderful! The customer service was excellent! I understand that renovations begin in Feb. I inquired about what they were going to be doing and was told by two different team members that it was only the common areas that were to be renovated. I was really shocked, because the rooms are shabby and outdated. I was first checked into a room that had black mold on the carpet and ceiling near the balcony door. Enough mold that my sinuses and throat were affected. I called down to the desk and was assure that the manager would call me back in 10 minutes. I never got the call, called back and spoke to the manager and explained my concerns. She told me that the hotel had been full and there were no other complaints and that condensation was normal at this time of year. So? Neither of her statements had any bearing on the black mold in my room. Was she trying to convince me that the mold was not an issue? I asked her to please come up and look at the room. She said she would be up in about 10 minutes. A very nice man named David, (NOT the manager who promised to come up to the room) came up with a luggage cart and keys to a different room and offered to help us get moved. The new room, as did the first room, had frayed and worn carpet with long frayed strings. There was severe dry rot on the bottom of the bathroom door. So much that the bottom of the door was dragging on the floor when opening and closing it. The bathroom is very, very small. I do want to say, that other than the unresponsive manager, the rest of the staff was really great. The wait staff in the restaurant was top rate and the food was very good. The breakfast is excellent. So if you don't mind shabby digs, and you appreciate good service, good food and bar. This is a good value for the rate. Although, I was told that their rates will go up once they have renovated. In closing, my roommate was let into our room by house keeping, questions asked, and she was also given new key cards, twice , once with no questions at all, and once saying, are you "Sue Smith"? While this worked out for us, perhaps there should at least be few questions asked in those cases.

Well established...some might say a little dated albeit has fared well. Unlike its neighbor, the D/FW, its been well maintained and it shows. The drive up appeal as well as its massive atrium give the Hotel its out of town feeling even if you do live here. Its Mediterranean architecture shows it stands the test of time as it is difficult to tire of its homey feel. You won't be disappointed if you book sight unseen. Its still a desirable destination. 1-10 id give it a 8.

It was a very pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They took care of any special requests we put in (crib, toothbrush and toothpaste). Breakfast was above expectations; had everything you could ask for. The ambiance on the main floor was awesome, especially with the colorful fish in the water. I'd love to stay again!

Overall a good place to stay. But rooms are outdated and bathrooms are very small and outdated. Seems they could expand bathrooms to have a little more room with the suite layout. Staff is nice and attentive. Breakfast is great and Managers reception nightly is nice. Gym needs new equipment. Sports bar inside the hotel is ok. Menu and food could use a makeover. Never eaten at the restaurant.

Pretty good hotel. The hotel shows some sign of its age. Older rooms, lights on elevator don't turn on, etc. Good spread of food for breakfast, but it can get super crowded at points. The rooms are sized well, pillows comfortable, bathroom a tad small. Everything was clean. Overall a positive stay

Older facility that more than makes up for it in friendliness and hospitality. Wonderful free breakfast and evening snacks. Kids loved the pool. Staff has been great at taking care of each and every request. Beautiful gazebo and courtyard inside. Hotel has began renovating which should help with the dated rooms and furniture.

When we opened the key card, "Your phone is now your key. Download the Hilton app to access" was written on the card. There was nowhere on the door to slide the key and no other instructions on the key card. So we downloaded the app and again there were no further instructions. After around 10 minutes of dealing with the app we returned to the front desk where we were informed that using your phone as a "virtual key," was only an option if you checked in electronically. And you don't have to insert the key anymore, you just hold it up to the door and it unlocks. NONE of this was communicated to us at check in, or on any of the documentation we received, or in the app. Why they decided to market the virtual key option on the physical key w/ o any other instructions is beyond me. Also, ALL of the pillows were so flat it was as if they weren't even there, and we were just sleeping flat on the mattress. It made for an uncomfortable and long night.

This hotel is on the south side of DFW, and very convenient to rental cars and the terminal. Most restaurants will require transportation. The property is somewhat dated but clean and in good repair. Rooms are spacious the bedding is high quality. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is good but not as nice as some other hotels in the chain.

Love this hotel. Great pool. Good Breakfast. Amazing service. Slow elevator due to one is out of order. Also, our rooms air was set to 65 and it never cooled off. It wasn't hot in the room but it also wasn't cool. I just don't think the a/c could keep up with the Texas heat. We will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best experiences I have had at a Hilton chain. We ran in to weather while flying, having our flight cancelled. The hotel booked a room, came to the airport to pick us up, gave us bathroom supplies (since we didn't have luggage), provided extra blankets/pillows for the kids, and even gave my wife and I drink vouchers so we could relax after the stressful travel experience. Breakfast was great in the morning, plus they drove us back to the airport. They have fantastic staff. This hotel is awesome.

It's a good hotel, especially if you get a good deal on Priceline or similar sites. It's aging, but they are doing some substantial renovation and updates. As many mentioned before, the rooms are huge and bathrooms are tiny, which comes across as odd. But, everything else works well and the hotel has a comfortable feel. Free breakfast is huge plus.

Suite was aging and the carpet / couches were a little worn. Room size however was pretty large with a separate "living room". Balcony door did not open and was falling off the rails. Staff was however excellent.

I did not pay for this room, it was provided to me because of a canceled flight and I didn't spend much time there at all. Because of that, I cant complain. However If I spent my hard earned money on this room I would have been disappointed.

Hard location to get to if coming off a service road, but the hotel itself does stick out fairly well. Rooms were very large consisting of the bedroom, bathroom and an additional connecting room that could be considered the living room. Room service was fantastic and very thorough while being quick. All problems with room had been addressed quick as well. Breakfast service was phenomenal also considering the large amount of people being served. Overall, a very nice stay and good recommendation if you can look beyond the confusing Texas highways and side roads.

While it is a slightly aging hotel, it is comfortable and well kept. What I wanted to comment on though is the staff! I travel weekly and can tell you that I have not come across such a genuine, kind and helpful staff. They are remarkable! You can tell that this is a well managed hotel and someone reall knows what to look for! I could go on and on about individuals like the concierge, the restaurant manager/host at breakfast, the event manager and the driver but really everyone was fantastic. I woke up for a tough day and everyone there had me feeling cared for! I highly recommend just for this alone, especially if you're travel weary- it makes a difference!

This is one of favorite embassy hotels. The location is convenient, though a little noisy from highway traffic. The first floor is quite nice and feels like a resort hotel. The rooms themselves are nice, but a little dated. My room has paint peeling on the bathroom door. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean.

Standard awesome experience like every Embassy Suites there is! The cook to order hot breakfast alone makes this place stand out. Noticed the hot tub is always running instead of a timer. It's things like that where they think of the customer first that always make guest happy. You don't feel like they are running a business. You feel like they are only focused on the experience.

This property has some nice aspects to it, but the primary purpose of a hotel is somewhere to sleep. I barely got any sleep. Between being on the approach to DFW airport and beside major highways, the ambient noise was intolerable. Good things about the hotel were the free breakfast (probably the best free breakfast I've ever had at any hotel), and the atrium was lovely. The service and food at the attached restaurant was great. The rooms are on the small side, with the bathroom being incredibly tiny. The decor and fixtures seem dated, but fortunately not overly worn.

After a cancelled flight American Airlines put us up here. The staff were stellar and polite, the rooms were spacious and clean, and when we had an issue with our airline voucher the desk manager took care of it in short order. The food in the restaurant was by far the best we've ever had in a chain hotel, and fairly priced. Next time we visit Dallas we'll definitely be staying here.

Embassy suites just need an update in general.. the rooms seem old. The free breakfast was different than most embassies. Everything was behind the counter and you had ask for more bacon, potatoes etc. The staff was really nice. But Think I'll try another hotel when I'm in town next time.

Nice hotel. It's older but still classy, just not super fancy. The fitness center is pretty decent and clean, however can get hot pretty quickly. The breakfast is probably my favorite thing about this place. It's free but omlets are made to order, bacon, potatoes, french toast and lots of other goodies. I'm not a big drinker but I hear the free happpy hour is awesome.

They let people smoke weed in the rooms so if you do not like that stay away. Otherwise it is a fantastic place. All the local urban families come from all over Irving to enjoy their free breakfast.

You know there was a time my husband would take me to the Embassy as a mini vacay if you will and we had a wonderful time. Not this time! We are purchasing a home and needed a place to stay while the paperwork was finished. We were suppose to be there from 2/29 - 3/3/2017. It was horrible. First of all when we got there it appeared the air conditioner was not working properly. We had to go out and I asked that it be checked and it was. However, the night became cool and guess what, no HEAT! I had to pull a portable heater from the closet and plug it in. This is new for the Embassy. Not only that apparently there was construction going on. I was awaken just after 8 in the morning to the sound of hammering. Usually, we pay just under 200.00 a night . This time it was much more expensive and not nearly the enjoyable experience I was looking for to. We left a day early and really disappointed. They have gone down hill and we paid way to much for what what we got. In the future we will take our business elsewhere.

Location was convenient. Hotel lobby and atrium areas were beautiful--even had a small waterfall. The complimentary hot breakfast was probably the best we've ever had with made to order omelets, French toast, Pancakes, fresh fruit, etc. The reason I only gave 4 stars was because of the rooms. While we loved the fact that there was a door that separated the bedroom/bath area from the living area, the overall feel of the room was dark and old, although very clean. The living room furniture was pretty hard and the pullout couch bed was like sleeping on springs. The regular beds were very comfortable though and the sliding door leading to the (very small) balcony in the bedroom was nice. With all the cell phones, laptops, etc., it would have been nice if there had been more outlets. Had a mini fridge and microwave but they were annoying to get to because they were in a cabinet (a floor level cabinet) , so you had to open the cabinet door (and leave it open while in use) every time you wanted to use them. If the rooms had been as updated as the common areas I would be more likely to stay there again.

Very comfortable and cozy place. The lovely thing is that they one of best made to order breakfast like your choice of eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, potatoes and juice. In the evening too there are free drinks and place at downstairs is very serene with greenery, fountain and colorful fishes.

The room is very spacious, and having a separate room for the bed is a definite plus. The food at the restaurant (Capriottis) is pretty good. I had the Cobb salad. Combine that with the free beer (PNR or something worse), and it's a fairly cheap meal that's good enough. I'll be staying there again next week.

The breakfast attendant was amazing! He made our stay very enjoyable. Could use some help with shuttle organization, but the staff was helpful and friendly for the most part.

Great breakfast. Friendly, accommodating staff. Comfy beds. Door separating living room from bed room was very helpful when staying with 1yr old.

I've stayed there many times. It's a home away from home. The breakfast is always great.

The rooms are a bit dated, but the hotel was amazing. The food is great and an amplitude of amenities to make you feel at home.

The bathroom was tiny and in disrepair. The front desk staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. The food service people were amazing, though! They were very helpful and accommodating.

Very nice hotel with great customer service! There are scheduled times in which the hotel gives free margaritas and snacks! From a variety of fresh fruit, to chips and salsa, and cinnamon chips. Hotel room was very large and clean!

This hotel was excellent from check in to check out. Front desk staff was wonderful. Took the shuttle a couple of times & both times were great. Breakfast was delicious.

Excellent hotel. Beautifully decorated. The rings were nice and the staff helpful. The only issue was that the bathroom inn the room was exceedingly small.

Great hotel, friendly staff. The cook to order breakfast is much better than you get at most hotels. Only complaint is that the rooms do not include smart tvs. So the only way to watch Netflix is on your phone as the chromecast cannot connect to hotel wifi.

This is a very nice hotel with a great atrium area to sit and relax. I have not personally stayed at this hotel but have attended several business meetings here. The meeting rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The food is always wonderful and the wait staff is very pleasant and courteous. I always look forward to our meetings here.

Excellent service, as always. I regularly stay here for business, and I appreciate the shuttle service to my work office, as well as the comp breakfast. I wish the wifi worked a little better in the back room of the suites as that is a common issue I find, but otherwise this is my preferred hotel.

Quite an interesting place. The amenities are absolutely on point. The design takes you to a different place; it almost feels like you are at the beach. Food is great. Rooms are clean and comfy. The only down side is the elevator. Having a ton of children during our stay made it hard to simply go down two floors.

Great experience here! The rooms were nice and spacious and clean. The made to order breakfast which was free was better than some breakfast restaurants I've been to where you pay a premium. In the evening they offer free drinks from 530 to 730 by the fountain. I would definitely stay here again

Our room was modern, spotlessly clean, very quiet, and perfectly comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was strong and steady. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home. We had several small children staying on our floor, but our room was totally silent. The hotel itself was beautiful and well laid out. The woman at the front desk was extremely accommodating, polite, and friendly, and she provided several complimentary toiletry products for us without question. Breakfast (completely free!) was like a home-cooked meal. The quality was spot on and the options were numerous. The hotel made special arrangements for us to check in after normal check-in hours, which we appreciated very much. I recommend this hotel more than any other, and we will absolutely be staying in an Embassy Suites again!
