ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

This particular Embassy is just really nice. Easy access from the expressway and ample parking make it a great place to book when I visit family in Peoria or nearby. I have attended one conference in the adjacent conference center as well. Again easily accessible ample parking close to the conference center doors, pleasant space with friendly staff!

This is a great hotel. And, I love the Hilton family...I've been very pleased with her for a long time. I visit this particular hotel at least once a year, and I always have a delightful stay! The amenities are great and the service is wonderful!

I was at this location to battle a raid boss in Pokémon GO with friends. We met at the outdoor seating behind the hotel, and the riverfront view was picaresque. There were some connectivity issues with my phone, but that was hardly the hotel's fault.

The staff made the experience EPIC! They were so accommodating and polite. The only downside was the Jets in the tub didn't work out... something was weird. I still enjoyed it tho..nothing like a good ol' traditional bubble bath! Thank you Embassy Suites for a great evening! 🎉🌹💋

We had a two night stay - our first night was bad enough we considered moving to another hotel - unsupervised screaming children, and being forced to use the stairs as the elevators were packed with kids using it as a 'ride'. Once that overly obnoxious group left, the second night was great. Kudos to the staff for doing their best to get the parents to take at least a little responsibility for the kids. Being able to use the pool and elevators was nice on day #2, considering the price.

One of the best embassy locations I've stayed in. Located right on the river with excellent views. There's a walking path adjacent and it's very quiet and secluded. The only down side was the parking. There were plenty of spaces but it's under the bridge so watch out for bird droppings and it's a bit sketchy. I wouldn't walk to your car alone at night. The room was perfect but the breakfast was dry. 1 star for parking and breakfast quality.

Excellent breakfasts in the morning and happy hour in the evening. Connected to the conference center through a sky way. Two negatives were that rooms are a little dark, and the hotel shuttle don't run early enough in the morning so I had to take a taxi.

Very clean! Stayed here overnight for a professional meeting. Large rooms, great food, and a shuttle that will take you anywhere with a few miles for free. Solid wifi in my room and conference facility. Great view of the Peoria skyline and Illinois River, too. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed at this hotel for the second time in a year. Staff is still very friendly. Breakfast is outstanding. Only constructive feedback is that the rooms are ready for refurbishment/rennovation (but are well maintained and very clean). This is one of the nicest hotels in central Illinois.

This is by far one of the most amazing places to stay. The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are truly all, ALL suites, with kitchenette. The pool was clean and perfect temp. Managers reception with a free dinner and the breakfast, Oh My Goodness...the breakfast was AMAZING! Cooked to order! Omelettes! French toast! Pancakes! Sausage! Something for everyone! And you can sit there and eat or take it back to your room. We got the family staycation deal that included a movie in room, large pizza (large is an understatement) 6 pack of soda, popcorn, candies...and we got a late check out (2pm) so we could sleep in and enjoy the pool some more. All this for just over $100 for the night! They also have a romance night that includes roses, champagne or sparkling cider and dinner in suits. Same price!

This is a great place to stay, and a great meeting place! I was at the Young Leaders conference, and the hotel & convention center is a great place to host large groups. The rooms are very nice, the happy hour or managers reception has great complimentary snacks and drinks, the breakfast is wonderful, and the other hotel facilities, such as the pool and gym, are very nice.

Facilities are clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and quick to unlock the door to our panel room. Building is pleasantly warm to enter after being outside in the cold Illinois winter. Decor is tasteful and blends well without becoming overbearing. Only complaint is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom near my panel room. It's particularly pungent, and I don't notice it in other bathrooms or elsewhere in the building.

My husband's work Holiday party was at Embassy Suites this year. Pleanty of parking. Clean and simply decorated party/banquet room. Food served was good and a nicely stocked bar. Dessert made the evening and having attended several functions here before I was amazed at the sound dampening divider walls worked so well on such a busy Christmas holiday event night! The staff went above and beyond to make quests comfortable.

My company had their Christmas party in conference center here this year. The room was very nice and the food was delicious. The staff were very quick to remove plates and attend to other guest needs. Would 100% recommend this for any kind of gathering.

The only issue I had was the bathroom. The toilets are all manual flush rather than flushing automatically from a sensor. There's also only one paper towel dispenser and one sink for a bathroom with four urinals and four toilets. There was plenty of room for another sink and more dispensers. These are minor issues but it felt odd that they'd cut a corner with this given the otherwise lavish appointment of the facility.

Great facility. Comfortable rooms. Improvement needed in management. Additional training and communication among staff very necessary. My family and I ate there over the weekend the food was good but we all had a virus afterwards. Tried to communicate other issues to be addressed to management but they weren’t interested in hearing my feedback to make improvements they just wanted to provide me with discounts etc. to shut me up...sad

My visit to Embassy Suites was for a business breakfast meeting. The breakfast was a buffet style service and the food was all hot and fresh and healthily stocked. The wait staff was excellent and greeted me and made sure our table was well tended to for the duration of the meeting. Everything was set up beautifully including the sound. Some conference meeting in big rooms have sound issues, but not here. Despite switching between different microphones and dealing with singing and a piano, there were no issues at all. It was a great meeting and the staff of Embassy Suites was clearly very prepared to make the morning run smooth!

Stayed there for a good four days & enjoyed very much. The river looking rooms & river front walkways & morning breakfast all for it. This hotel also offers complementary drinks & snacks in the evening 17.30 to 19.30. Menu had a limited options though. But lot of eateries in & around.

Stayed there July 14. The room next to us partied until 4AM. Loud music and talking. Could feel the beat of the music in our room! If they slammed a door once they slammed the door twenty times!! Very poor night of sleeping. Never experienced this before hope to never experience it again!

Second time staying at this hotel. It's beautiful and the river view is lovely.
I'll stick with the cons on this post, though.
1) The pillows were terrible. Incredibly thin and rough feather pillows. Woke up with a sore neck no matter which pillow or what way I laid.
2) Our air conditioning in our room did not work properly. We had it set to 50 degrees and the fan on constantly for several hours and it did not get cooler in the room.
3) Do not expect to get peace and quiet in the pool or hot tub. It was always full with children being loud (Not the hotel's fault, just an additional comment.)
4) We ordered a king size bed, and I'm no mattress size expert, but it seemed pretty small for a king.
Note: This first time we stayed there we had zero issues. Maybe we just got unlucky.

This is a very nicely done Embassy Suites. Very modern and probably the very best hotel in the area. Standard breakfast (oitstanding!) Good bar and restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I went to Embassy Suites for my cousin's wedding reception and I stayed at the hotel with my wife and two children in a king suite. Everything was very nice. The reception was great. The room was clean and plenty spacious. The pool was just okay, but the complimentarybreakfast is amazing. It's not the best food you will ever eat, but it's very good and for it's included in a very reasonable room rate. It's not the best hotel, I've ever stayed at l, but it's by far the best value for a family.

Disappointing stay. I requested a early check in and received a reply email stating they would oblige. However, on the morning of our arrival I called to verify but was informed that they couldn't until the previous guest checks out at 11am and I would get priority from housekeeping. So a couple hours, I call to see if it was done and guest services tells me that by 1pm I would be able to check in. When I arrive at the agreed upon time, I was told that it was not ready yet and they would call me when it was ready. Three hours go by without a call, and I have cranky children waiting to unpack and get ready for their birthday party. I call them back, to explain and was rudely told that early check in was not a guarantee. Finally, at 4 pm when my regular check in time arrives we show up again only to find out it had been done an hour prior. I was so upset. Other than that, the rooms are decent sized and its located near the river front. The pool is small and full of unruly, unsupervised children running amok. Even the exercise room was full of underage kids doing whatever they wanted with no adults in sight and staff did NOT seem to do anything about it. This is ridiculous, I couldn't enjoy any of the amenities. Also, our sink was clogged, and there was hair in the mini fridge, and pubic hair by the toilet that did not belong to any of us. I will never stay here again.

Our stay at our favorite family overnight getaway spot was pretty typical. We spent so.e time at the pool/hot tub, play card games in the dining area during the manager's reception, enjoyed dinner out, had a good night's sleep followed by an amazing cook to order breakfast before checkout.

One of the highlights of our stay included watching one of the employees (Emily) help a visually impaired guest. She offered to get him snacks and stood and talked with him in-between clearing tables and restocking the snacks. At one point I noticed he had clasped one of her hands in between his and it made me smile. This kind of care and service is what this hotel is about. Donna, our favorite bartender, always remembers us and is as big a part of our stay as anything else.

This evening we had a special guest. Santa visited and my 10 year old allowed a photo to be taken with him.

The only reason I rated them a four vs my normal five stars is that our bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been. This isn't normally an issue but it did taint the experience.

We booked Embassy Suites for our wedding reception and we so glad we did! The majority of our family and friends were visitors of Peoria and were impressed with the service of the hotel and of the town. They enjoyed the food, especially the appetizers. The service was mindful and efficient. The cook came out personally at our tasting to talk with us about his service. The event planner made my parents feel confident in a way that I ever could, for which I am eternally grateful. They communicated with us well even though we had to plan the event from out of town. They were also great about working with the rest of our vendors coming in and had worked with many of them before.

Even the shuttle driver made an excellent impression by giving my aunt and uncle a personal tour of Peoria (without excepting any tip). My uncle expressed an interest in Peoria native Richard Pryor (comedian) and the driver gave them a tour of Pryor's neighborhood and the rest of Peoria before dropping them off on time for their flight back home.

My only frustration was the lack of handicap rooms and types of room available to our guests.

The bathrooms were outstanding. I really liked them. They were clean and well kept and managed. The water pressure in the sinks was more than adequate.

The service wasn't great. Our coffee went empty and was never refilled. Neither was our water.

The traffic situation was atrocious. It took approximately 30 minutes to leave the parking lot.

Also, we were promised a buffet. There was no gravy, biscuits, ham, or waffles. The protein choices were bacon or gelatinous eggs. The potatoes were nice. The orange juice was far too pulpy to be enjoyed or properly dispensed from the giant carafe. It did taste good though.

Another excellent stay at the Embassy Suites. The breakfast bar hit the spot! This hotel or prepares the breakfast your way, instead of heating up fake eggs in the microwave. I only had one issue. They need to fix the check out times on the back of the door. They directly conflict the time that is told you check-in.

My cousins and I came here for a weekend getaway. We had a great time and the hotel was well taken care of. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that also had a made to order station where they offered omelets with all kinds of fresh add-ins. The room was spacious and pretty clean. The staff was courteous and the view from our room of the lake front was awesome. It is a great property that used the water front to their advantage.

Booked a premium suite, which included free snacks daily with maximum of 1 refill of snacks daily. The 1st day no problem refilling snacks. The 2nd day my wife asked they said no, only one per day. I went and asked again, had to argue my point that even the website said 1 "refill" of snacks per day. Finally they reluctantly agreed. An hour or so later the snacks were delivered, not on the nice platter like before, but in a plastic grocery bag placed on one of our suitcases. Other than that experience the hotel was fine. However it only takes 1 bad experience to sour a visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites. We had greeted warmly at the reception area when we were getting drinks there for happy hour as well as a great meal at the river side cafe. Our wedding reception was help at the Embassy Suites in June of 2015, and I have not one complaint! We worked with started working with Nicole a year before the wedding and she guided us through every step. We were not able to get into the venue until 2:30 on the day of our wedding, which was pretty scary to my mother and I, but Nicole assured us that they are used to working with that time frame and I can honestly say that the room flip was completely successful because nothing was out of place when the doors opened. You often hear people complain about wedding food, and for that reason my expectation weren't very high. We had the Embassy Steak and Stuffed Chicken and it was insanely delicious! I was slightly concerned that maybe the head table was the only one with good food, but my parent's said theirs was amazing too. So then I thought, well maybe it was just the head table and the parent's table. Nope. All wedding guests LOVED the food. Compliments to the chef! The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Every inch of the facility is very well kept and clean. When my new husband and I went up to our complimentary room, there was a gift, a treat, and a sweet card. It was an incredible experience. At the end of the night you could see my dad sitting up at the head table with the biggest grin on his face, saying..."this was worth every penny!" As the first of four daughters to get married, I'd say that was a pretty bold statement! Thank you to Embassy, and specifically Nicole, for a flawless wedding day!

Upon arrival I was greeted by a giant conference center and a lovely hotel sitting across the river from the Peoria skyline. I walked through the revolving doors and I met a smiling front desk agent. We confirmed my reservation and got set up with my room. My jaw fell open as I pulled back the curtains to reveal that same breathtaking view of the Illinois River and Peoria skyline that I had witnessed just moments earlier. I called to request some beverages and they informed me of a managers reception that would be taking place that evening and let me know I could get complimentary drinks and appetizers there! That night I slept soundly in an immaculately cleaned living space that was as close to home as you can get in a hotel. When I woke, I grabbed a free made to order omlette and took my breakfast to the riverfront patio. Just when I thought my day couldn't get off to a better start, I caught a glimpse of a mighty and majestic bald eagle soaring overhead. The shuttle driver got me exactly where I needed to go without a fuss. The staff had excellent recommendations for food and attractions. 10 / 10 would certainly recommend this hotel over any others in the Peoria region!
