ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

A very well kept hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are clean and well set up, showers have great water pressure and temperature, lovely free happy hour every day, and the closest hotel to the Coliseum. Great all around

In town for one-night high school reunion event. Accommodation were comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Only one suggestion--the desk clerk on duty was very cordial and helpful; however, not too professional with her gum chewing while talking with me.

They had great rating so we chose this hotel. We like staying at Embassy but the room we stayed was not clean, especially the bathroom. As always a good breakfast and great service from the staffs.

Large rooms, but the double beds were pretty uncomfortable. The linens were scratchy and sub-par. The pull-out was surprisingly comfortable. The amenities were lacking for expectations of the property. The bathroom was small. I liked the layout with the atrium in the middle, it created a great "walking track" to entertain and exercise my 2 year-old when the weather outside was uncooperative, but bring earplugs because the ambient noise from the atruim (as well as the background music) is loud and audible in the front room of the suite at all hours of the day. Breakfast was pretty good with a large selection. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful The pool policy is a little strange (requiring guests to wear a paper adhesive wristband), though being next to the Convention Center, I guess I understand the need for the policy. It was just inconvenient when we were there for a formal event and had to don paper bracelets whenever we wanted to go swimming.

This hotel was amazing. As soon as I walked in I was amazed by how beautiful the inside was. The staff at the front desk were always very professional and courteous.

In the lobby there is a little store, a bar, a restaurant, and a breakfast buffet area. The pool, hot tub, fitness center, and patio were all immaculate and comfortable.

Our room had a king size bed, an average bathroom, a kitchen area with a sink, microwave and mini fridge, a dining table, and living room with a pull out couch.

There were 3 elevators, so you never had to wait long to get on one. When we first arrived we didn't have a remote control for the 2 Tv's in the room. I called the front desk and they brought one up right away.

If I'm ever back in the Hampton area I will definitely stay here again.

Decided on new place to have lunch and found it here. $11.00 buffet. Items vary by day so will have to come back again to better judge. Beautiful design of building's interior is a plus.

Enjoyed our brief overnight stay. The location was easy to find but views from the room do not match the website which can really be forgiven. Happy Hour drinks were underwhelming and breakfast pancakes and french toast were doused in oil. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decor was traditional Mediterranean which was ok but looks like it hasn't been updated since the early '90, much prefer the contemporary feeling of newer locations. Rooms were nice sized and bathrooms were average. Overall we would stay here again.

VERY comfortable hotel. Clean and spacious suites. Awesome buffet breakfast in the morning and an even more awesome manager's reception in the evenings with good drink options. Shout out to Kellie who makes the BEST mojito and whiskey smash!!!!! If you visit this hotel, you owe yourself to see Kellie. Not only does she make great drinks, she makes you feel like a friend. Truly a gem!

Anytime I've been to the Embassy Suite it's always been a positive experience! Great service! It's always clean, great vibes. We had a couple's paint night. Then arrived at the embassy to sit in the lounge area. We laughed and had some of the appetizers. One thing for certain and tw0 things for sure you will always catch celebrities in there. Basketball and football athletes for sure. Then its the music artist that will appear. Even if you are not getting a room and just want to hang around the bar,you will find people there just watch sports, the news, socializing. Always had a great experience.

This place would have got 5 stars. But the only reason why I decided to spend so much for their room was because of the spa. When I called i was told the spa was open but it wasn't on the Sunday I got there and it wasn't open again on Monday when they were suppose to be open 😕. I was looking forward to the spa experience!

Large suites offering a bedroom, closet, bathroom, wet bar with fridge and microwave. Also sitting room with a table, sleeper sofa, and one of two 46" HD tvs.

Also included in the stay is a great breakfast with many options available including a cook to order station. Then the evening offers a social hour of drinks and snacks.

All staff from cleaning to front, to cooks to servers and bartenders and folks in the restaurant; all offer friendly welcoming service.

Top, top notch place and great value for everything they provide.

We always stay here at least once a year. The rooms are always clean the staff is always nice. They have nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. The bartenders and staff are always Pleasant. The only issues I've ever had or with the quality of the food at the restaurant. But you go to the hotel to stay at the hotel not to dine there

I stayed here on a business trip, my stay included breakfast and afternoon social (free drinks). The hotel is pretty nice, has a pool, hot tub, and gym. The gym was a lot smaller than what I would have expected for a hotel this size with only treadmills and other cardio equip and a few dumbbells. The room accommodations were pretty nice and capable of holding a family of 5 or so with a pull out couch bed in one room and a king size bed in the other. Bathroom area appeared clean with basic functionality. My room smelled a bit like smoke in the living room area but it did not permeate to the bed room. The suites are capable of adjoining to the adjacent room if two rooms are needed. The walls were pretty thin and on a few nights I could hear the more rambunctious guests on either side of me. Kitchenette area includes a mini fridge and microwave which is a definite bonus for a hotel that house an embedded restaurant.

Great hotel in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. Free breakfast and drinks are included with your stay. There is a business center, gym, and pool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious with many food options. There is also an in-house spa! I am only giving four stars because upon check-in I was not given my complimentary snacks/water for being a Hilton Gold member, but aside from that I was pleased with my stay.

Kids love it, we are traveling with 18 month old and 11 yr old. Rooms clean, bathtub doesn't have weird mold look around the edges, but like all hotels.... bring your own room deodorizer spray, cause the bathrooms don't have vents. We always bring some. Makes everybody happy.

We go there 2 times a year for family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. They are always accommodating, even opening early this year just for us so we could attend a church function later that evening. Brenda is a princess and always up for a good conversation. Great, clean hotel with friendly staff. Like all other Embassy Suites, they offer an outstanding breakfast bar and made to order Omelettes for breakfast and a Managers Reception at night. There is a bar, indoor pool, spa and restaurant onsite. Conveniently located a mile from shopping and other eateries. Right across the street from the convention center and Coliseum.

Nice clean room, very nice staff. AC/heat was weak, outlet over microwave didn't work, Internet was weak, and toilet kept running. In other words, it's seems like it needs some TLC. That said, they had foam pillows waiting for me (most hotels ignore my note that I'm allergic to down), and the breakfast was a nice, quick free buffet. And they have an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. I'll happily stay here again.

The Embassy Suites in Hampton, Virginia is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in my travels. The breakfast buffet is always outstanding. There are a variety of items for every taste. The rooms are always nice, neat and clean. And, I love the environment and atmosphere at this hotel!

Beware of Smoking Rooms! I booked a room 3 months in advance, but when I go there, they had a smoking room assigned and didn't have any other availability. It wasn't horrible and they were very apologetic about it. They sprayed some odor absorber around that helped. But it still stank, and all my clothes stank when I got home. I didn't know anyone even had smoking rooms anymore! The rest of the hotel and the buffet and everything was fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites, however, the hotel seems a bit dated. A few of the electrical outlets in our room didn't work, and we didn't have a luggage rack in our room, nor any of those plastic laundry bags. There was also mold in the shower. All minor annoyances, though. The atrium is lovely and the staff excellent. The bed and pillows are the bees knees and I slept like a baby. The central location is also really nice.

My Wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for a number of days as part of her organizational duties. It left me and some of the guys on our own. Tonia Carter at the front desk was so helpful in helping us to find our way around and point us to many locations to help with our experience. She (Tonia) Served me like a baby for the 4 + days we were there and I am very greatfull for her help. She deserves an atta-girl and a raise. Great Job, Great Help, Great Lady!

The rooms are great as you'd expect from Embassy. Very spacious and comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious but the employees/kitchen can't seem to keep up with the crowds which results in long-lines and food that runs out. Pool is indoor only but nice and there's a hot tub! Overall a good place to stay in the Hampton area.

Looks nice. We had high hopes but several issues. Lobby couches were disgusting and we didn't want to sit while we waited on our room. Black out blinds wouldn't close all the way so the room was bright. TV had very few channels and most weren't in HD and looked terrible. WiFi isn't free for everyone. You have to join their rewards to get access so we're using cell data. The most disappointing was that the air conditioning has been running the entire time and it's very warm in here. We check out this morning so we don't have time to deal with that issue. Breakfast omelet was delicious but it was total chaos down there with no staff telling anyone what to do. Maybe it would be better not on a holiday week but definitely not as nice as the price suggests. We would have spent more somewhere else if I could have read this first.

We had an occasion to meet one of our friends at the Embassy Suites. The property looks well cared for and attractive. The parking lot and entrance appear neat and attractive. We did not get a chance to have much of the hotel experience since it was a brief social event..

Great location for the active family. Everything you need is within a mile or so of the hotel. Free hot breakfast & free happy hour drink for those who want to indulge. Hotel has a spa, pool, hot tub, & star bucks. Hotel really really close to the convention center and Coliseum so every now & then events bring more people to the area. Not to much of an inconvenience but you'll have to adjust your traffic pattern.

The hotel was clean and tidy. Very personable staff. My room smelled of cigarette smoke though. The staff and management were apologetic and helped to corre the issue. Clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent experience. We especially enjoy the snacks and drinks offered in the evening and the better-than-average breakfast. All at a very reasonable price. We were there at a very busy time--kids were disappointed by the crowded pool and the breakfast line was very long. Staff had trouble keeping up with demand. Shower had very low pressure. But the room is spacious and had nice amenities. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Embassy for a business trip and was immediately impressed with the size of the suite and the view from the front room and bedroom. Late reservation check-in worked fine. Room was clean but had a faint stale smoke smell. Entirety of lobby area and common areas had an exotic weed aroma to especially include the elevators. The one bedroom suite at the military rate of 93 a night can't be beat. Overall a nice hotel room. Morning continental breakfast lasted until1030 and they have eggs to order so that's a bonus. Parking area is lit fairly well but dark in the back corners. Looks as if there might be some pretty large blind spots in the CCTV coverage of the parking area as well. Pool was chock full of kids with a couple mentioning peeing in it. Kids will be kids. Decent full bar and restaurant too. Bar area becomes non kid friendly after 2100/9PM. I'd stay again when in Hampton.

Upon arrival I was greeted very cordially by the gentleman at the front desk and the check in was completed quickly including an explanation of the amenities offered by the hotel. When I got to the room I discovered that my room had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite. A great suprise. The evening meal and the morning breakfast was definitely a cut above the other hotels at which I have stayed. Absolutely outstanding experience.

Very nice as usual..... clean, safe, helpful, and comfortable; HOWEVER, the female bartender at the managers reception was rationing the spirits like she is paying for them. Now maybe it was because I had no tips this day, but I had no more change, but it is complimentary..... the tips are extra! This location was convenient of my VA trip....

Love this place. Great service the entire duration of our stay. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Vacationing with my wife and our 3 little ones, back and forth to the beach all week and the staff were understanding of our need for extra towels.
Breakfast was incredible! Tip your omelette cook and the wait staff, they're all hard working. Receptions were nice too. The kids loved the popcorn, nice touch.
If you don't visit the Cyprus Grille while staying here, you're doing yourself a disservice. The Nana's Fried Chicken is reeeeeeally good.
Fitness Center and pool are in great condition also.

My number one favorite aspect was definitely their in-house restaurant and ordering room service from them. Service was speedy, and the meals were top-notch, with prices pretty much around what I'd expect for a normal restaurant (i.e. no ridiculous room-service price-hikes). If you're curious, I had the Hickory-Smoked Ribeye (perfectly medium-rare with a delicious sherry mushroom sauce), Lobster-Corn Risotto Fritters, and Bourbon Pecan Cheesecake (omg sooooo good). They also got a yummy turkey club to my room when I had only 30 minutes of downtime between briefings, so again, speedy. Being a populated area in more of a Southern state, there were naturally tons of awesome fast food and restaurant chains nearby (as well as a number of interesting-sounding local restaurants), yet I found that had I stayed longer I probably would've just kept ordering from the room service menu. I'm not that lazy; it was just that good.

Another up-check is the overall decor and atmosphere. The hotel is classy and modern, with clean, nicely-furnsihed rooms available for good rates. The center atrium opens from the bottom floor all the way to the ceiling of the building, providing an inviting, brightly-lit meeting area for hotel residents and guests to meet and conduct affairs.

Interestingly, this also plays into one of the cons of the hotel, in that every single room's front door opens to this hotel center, where balconies on higher floors overlook the lobby. In the event of...events (in my case, what appeared to be a wedding reception), noise definitely leaks in to the living area of the suites as high up as the sixth floor, but this is at least mitigated by the bedrooms being separated by a sturdy door and spaced towards the back; I was able to rest with no disturbances/issues.

The only other significant con was the WiFi situation. You can get it for free as a rewards member of the hotel chain, but you may still up paying like everyone else since their premium bandwidth is only free for the most exclusive members. I typically don't settle for anything less than the fastest option, so I paid for it. To my chagrin, however, the signal itself was relatively weak, similar to how weak my 4G signal was. I still managed to stream TV shows, so I've definitely had far worse, but I would've expected something snappier for what I paid.

TL;DR for you skimmers (hmph): clean, brightly-lit, welcoming, modern, DELICIOUS...but can be a tad noisy and don't expect stellar WiFi/cellular options. That said, I certainly recommend the stay, regardless of the minor hiccups.

very nice place they work very hard to keep it clean BUT they have to feed the people who work in the break fast area because they are too hungry . the way they look at you what you put in your dish , what you take more , SOME OF THEM work like security not waters , too discussing . the problems no one ask them to do this , some of them just feel hangry ,

Our family stayed at this hotel for several days and I must admit I was impressed, for the $98 per night we spent to stay there, it was well worth it. The breakfast is great, and the evening reception was nice as well, unlimited free drinks & snacks. The only complaint that I would have is that the cleaning staff really needs to clean the hotel room windows after someone leaves. The windows were very dirty. The beds were very comfortable and the place appeared to be well kept. We would stay again.

My family and I stay at this hotel from Sunday until today. When we first arrived I noticed the hotel was very clean and the staff were very nice. My family enjoyed the breakfast bar. But the second day we were here we get a note under the door saying that the pool was going to be closed until Thursday. (It did open on Wednesday , which I appreciated) the only reason we booked this hotel was because of the in door pool. On top of the pool closing every time we went there it was overwhelming with kids with no parents who were jumping in the pool and yelling. I was down there with my 5 year old and 2 month old and had to leave because they were being so loud it upset my younger. One day there were people in the pool area that looked to not even be a guest at the hotel. They exited the pool area outside and got in there cars and left. Plus two days that we were here there was an over powering smell of Marijuana in the elevators and kids racing on the elevators. I actually fell on the elevator because these kids got in there soaking dripping wet from the pool. I came with my boyfriend on a business trip to have a mini peaceful vacation and that was far from what I got!

I usually don't leave any reviews, because I regard it as a kind of time waste. But I couldn't help writing some experiences what I had in this hotel.
(Honestly, this is my first review on google website.)

I'd like to strongly recommend this hotel. It has very kind staffs, unique design, well organized room, high quality breakfast and very attractive indoor swimming pool with hot tube. Furthermore the person(manager Mr. W.) whom I met here was the one of the best hotel-staffs in Asia, Europe and the U.S., because he knew exactly what guests need and would like to have.
(Traveling in east USA I stayed one night at a 4-Star Hotel near Virginia Beach with ocean view. But it was not the standard what I expected, so I canceled the schedule and moved without plans into this hotel to take a look at it before making a check in.)

Definitely I'm going to stay here a little bit longer than planed, because this hotel is a little bit more than a just hotel.
