• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Fantastic location to base your Indianapolis trip. I can't say enough good things about Downtown Indy these days and the Suites are a big part of it. The rooms are nice and if you can swing it, the views from some rooms are really great. The bar and cocktail hour are not to be missed.

Pretty disappointing experience. The room was dirty when we got there, garbage wasn't taken out the first two days we were there. We had to call the front desk and ask them to come get it. Front desk staff was curt and discourteous. However, the housekeeping staff we did interact with were always pleasant and courteous, as were the staff around for breakfast and the evening reception. I was here for Gencon, so I didn't have much choice with regard to hotels, but if I do next year, it won't be the Embassy.

While I have not stayed here as a patron of its hotel rooms, I have found that this hotel is immaculate. It, much like other Embassy Suites hotels, has a massive garden atrium with windowed elevators facing the open space.

Visiting this place for Gen Con, the hotel has excellent function rooms, which are useful for events at the convention. The Consulate Room is a good example, with plenty of space and a way to partition some of it off.

You will find out something interesting about this hotel too: It has no First, Second, or Third floors. The elevator stops at the Fourth floor. A parking garage is present, with a covered walkway. Of course there are a lot of stairs in this walkway, so I recommend that wheelchair ramps be added to this walkway (Handicapped people will have to ride in the road to get through here, so it needs a little work. But there are probably other entry points, so do not count them out yet.

Even so, great job Embassy Suites!

This is a decent hotel. I was expecting a little bit of luxury, but it falls slightly short of that. The rooms are neat and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The location is right in the middle of downtown Indianapolis. There is a lot to do and see nearby. The entrance is a little bit tricky to find from the street. The parking garage is a little bit run down. The pool area could use a bit of updating, but was acceptable. The breakfast is great with lots of options. There are no stairs to get up to the rooms so you must rely on the elevators, which weren't the most reliable during our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would be willing to stay here again.

Receptionist was very rude. Food and trash outside our room door when we got up to the room. Manager was dismissive. This is sad, as we had a great experience last year and even convinced friends to change their reservations to stay here.

Elevators kept breaking and the pool had some rust in it. Only reason for losing one star. I couldn't find any stairs, so you have to take the elevators. They are working on the elevators and it looks like they are starting to fix up the pool. Everything else was amazing, very nice room, very clean. Service was awesome.

Positive: Excellent location!!!! Heart of Indianapolis!!!
Negative: Made reservations ahead of time upon arrival they did not had my room that i booked. Front desk stated they overbooked rooms and gave me the only room available. Disappointed upon arrival, I did not expected from this chain. In addition, parking is very expensive. There is options to where to park around the vicinity of thw hotel, but you have to walk quite a bit. That is why I gave it a 3 star.

Room was good price. Room setup was nice. It did not cool off well and big reason for 3star. Breakfast was ok but have had better at other ES locations. Evening social was okay. Did like you can walk to mall and restaurants without having to go outside.

Staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us! The open free bar and food was great! Only thing I would complain about would be the a.c. it wasnt very cool in our room and they lock the thermostat. They brought us a fan which was great! Close to EVERYTHING!

I stayed here awhile ago and loved it. I can't wait to go back in Sept to see the renovation. The breakfast and reception are also what you would except.Plus it's FREE. I read some reviews and it sounds like some people expect steak. The double rooms are also an added plus. I work at a major company and are elevators are slow it is what it is with elevators

Spaceous, clean suite with a exceptionally comfortable bed. The staff are friendly. I was here for a professional event and appreciated that everything ran smoothly. The food for breaks and lunches was also quite good. The hotel is centrally located, but you have to look a little bit to see the small entrance sign, otherwise, you'll miss the hotel!

The room was great! Bed was comfortable, shower was nice. My complaints were about the front desk (one of the girls was slightly rude) and the jackhammering at 7:15 AM that abruptly woke me up without my knowledge! Especially considering the fact that I called front desk and asked for a do no disturb sign because I didn't want to be woke up early by housekeeping. When I told him this (not the same person as I spoke of above; separate call), that I didn't want to be woke up early (my one night away to sleep in, no responsibilities), you would think I'd get a warning that I'd be woke up to the most startling, annoying, loudest noise ever! But no. Surprise! And it went on for 15 min straight so of course there was NO going back to sleep. Thanks for the headache...

Location and breakfast 5 stars. I think the hotel is being renovated but no carpet in hallways and paint chipping off ceiling and walls. Also, weird faucets are prone to residue build up.

Not a bad hotel. I work here but they are under construction (I do construction) which bothers customers a lot. It seems like a nice place to stay according to the people staying there is nice. Plus, the location is perfect since is in the middle of downtown. The rooms that are renovated look pretty pretty good (I'll take pictures of them once some are finished this week) just beware construction might end by the end of this year (2017). They don't tell you they're renovating and even if you ask they will say no. Overall it looks nice.
Edit: I've added photos of the rooms just after finishing renovation. If you come after renovation and get a regular room it will most likely look like the one in the photos since they're all pretty much the same. Compared to how it used to look is a day and night difference. It looks and feels more alive than before.

Construction was going on, but we were in a new suite. Very nice. We were a bit concerned upon walking in, as lightning was dismal and it wasn't very inviting esthetically. The free breakfast was amazing! Eggs/omlets made to order, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal...a much larger variety than usual. Parking was Extremely limited due to a majority of the parking garage spaces being blocked off for construction purposes. But overall, pleased.

We visited this hotel when it was under renovation. There was ceiling tile on the floors in the hallways and the stairs were filthy as well. The wall that separates the hotel room from the hallway does nothing to drown out noise. I strongly recommend staying somewhere else if you are a light sleeper. The room itself was clean and I sincerely hope that the room we were in was not renovated yet because there was shoddy patchwork all around the room. The redeeming quality to this hotel is the location, it is fantastic.

They are partway through a remodel. The newly decorated rooms are brighter and more modern looking. The parking garage is also having some work being done to it. The hotel is still very nice. I have stayed there probably 6 times over a few years. It is in a great downtown location.

Despite the fact that the hotel is under construction it still a very comfortable stay. Room is in good shape and very clean. Breakfast is very good, as I typically expect from embassy suites, and the evening manager's reception was also very good. The only real issue I have is the hotel itself, outside the room, was quite warm.ans humid. I would likely stay here again if in town.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great, it was just a few blocks away from the stadium we were trying to go to that night. They had a happy-hour toward the early evening where we could get free drinks. I wish it was a full bar but I took advantage of a few basic rum and cokes. I think they only had one or two types of beer you could get. My biggest complaint was the beds. For a suite, the beds were kind of small and really firm. I sleep on my side and I recall my butt falling asleep a few times throughout the night, no pun intended. Maybe the pullout bed in the couch would have been more comfortable but I never tried it. I may look for a more comfy hotel next time.

The hotel was being renovated and we knew that before staying there. However, we were not told when checking in that construction (including jack hammering) was taking place 3 doors down from our room. The bathroom sink stopper would not rise up so it held water. The sleeper sofa was the most uncomfortable sofa bed I have ever laid on, so one child slept on the couch like normal and the other slept on the chair and ottoman pushed together. The TV in the living room worked fine, but the TV in the bedroom rarely could get a signal on any station. The staff was friendly, but we weren't impressed by the accomodations.

First night here and needless to say staff impressed me, construction is currently going o. But still the building is definitely jaw dropping. I've liked everything here so far aside from parking. Drove a large company truck here and the garage is not very truck friendly but it fits. Definitely would recommend especially the king suites are very spacious and accommodating.

The hotel is currently under going construction. Even with that, the place was clean and everyone was friendly. Our room was amazing. The complimentary breakfast was great, better than I expected! The only downside was that the parking garage is very claustrophobic. The turns are very tight. Overall, great experience

Perfect for a trip with my four kids. We were close to the museum and had fun explaining downtown. There was construction going on in the Lobby and in rooms. Can't wait to see it when they are finished. Staff was very friendly and helpful and even allowed us to change rooms so we could have a place for all 6 of us to sleep. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast despite the renovations.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend trip. Close to Indianapolis Children's Museum, Zoo, White River Park, and mall. Staff was courteous and helpful. Check in was easy, room was small, dark and old. We noticed drainage issues in the bathroom. The pool had the same drainage issues and there was a lot of water outside the pool, very slippery. Customer service need work. We called to chance rooms since we were in front of the elevator and was told they would check and call back. None called us back. TV and channels were sad. Not many choices and although we got HBO we couldn't get TV land. The signal kept going on and it as well. In a nutshell, great location but at the level of a supper 8 and not an Embassy Suites. We stay at Embassy Suites whenever we can and have stayed at multiples across the country and this one is by far the worst that we have stayed at.

The stay at this hotel was excellent, I loved the staff they were so friendly from the check in to cleaning staff to the breakfast staff. I also loved the clean rooms and there were no garbage or debris out side. The free breakfasts were excellent and the coffee at the front desk was always fresh. They were remodeling a couple rooms but they do need to keep the Hotel in great shape so I was ok with the construction. Parking was 22 dollars a night that's not bad. And the sky walk connection to everything made this Hotel a great place to stay, you can walk to food and movies and shopping in 5 minutes in the sky walk and NFL football is next door.

Great downtown location within walking distance to the government center, Circle Center mall, etc. Hotel staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. Plenty of hot water, and the bathrooms are fairly up to date. Continental breakfast was one of the better I've had. Rating this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the following: my TV only got regular channels (they said they would fix it the following day, but I only stayed one night), the room was very dark, and my room was very chilly. The hotel is on central heat/air, and it was apparently too warm outside (36deg is NOT too warm in my opinion) for the heat to be on, so it was off. Brrrr!

I think the room had been recently updated. There was a lot of construction noise during the day-they are still renovating. Only complaint was a buzz from the ceiling fan and low shower pressure. Evening managers reception was a joke. Breakfast was awesome with omelettes to order. Entrance is strange. Overall enjoyed a the 3 star experience.

We stayed overnight and had a very pleasant experience here. The hotel is on the older side but they did a noticeably good job at keeping it clean and nice looking. The bed and pillows mixed with the blackout curtains meant for one of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. Parking is easy if you use the garage next door but it did cost $22/night so be aware. Service was good, but we didn't really get exposed to any service other than the front desk. Would definitely stay here again.

Giving this 2 stars only for location, spaciousness of the room and tidiness. Tidiness being that they made my bed and took out the garbage daily. It's not the cleanest as I found stuff in the fridge from the last visitor. Room is pretty dim for my liking and looks a lot better in pictures. It is under construction which I wish was mentioned during booking since the escalator wasn't working (minimally affected by this) The hot tub had stuff floating around in it which I didn't notice until 5-10 minutes into the jets being turned on. Shuttle service to Lilly times were conveyed wrong TWICE and the only solution they had was printing out a paper with new times since they resolved the issue. I called the front desk while waiting for the shuttle, I was hung up on and they didn't bother calling back. Lastly, while waiting for the morning shuttle I saw a homeless man pop up from under the counter at the bottom of the escalator (must have spent the night) which to me conveys poor security. I would not stay here in the future.

The room was nice and service was good. This is one of those hotels with an open center and the rooms have two windows by at the door. It creates a cool look in the lobby and in the elevator BUT it gave me a motel feel. You'll either like or dislike that kind of look/setup. The air conditioning is pretty weak, seems like they added celling fans to help with that. They make a little bit of noise when not on max.

Overall though, I liked the hotel and the staff was very attentive and nice, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a nice location near the mall and restaurants and a few minute walk from Colts stadium.

Entrance hard to find unless you're looking for it. Garage turns really tight maneuvering. Staff very helpful. Cocktail hour snacks limited choices, breakfast a little better but still nothing to set an alarm for. My room 1003 very nice, clean, no bugs, quiet, great cityscape view out very large windows. However friends' 2-story room 2010 very worn, dated, definitely looks party-worn, balcony not attractive either. Hotel in great central location for several attractions, within walking distance or use of a variety of livery/taxi drivers polite & affordable.

This was a good hotel but it is in serious need of an update. The rooms feel old and tired. That said, the hotel provides a nice service with a very good included breakfast and evening reception. The workout room was sufficient. The hotel does have an entry ramp off the street that is easy to miss unless you're looking for it. Overall, the hotel was perfectly fine for a two day business trip. Major renovation/updating needed.

Having stayed there every year for nearly a decade, I witnessed a sharp decline in service, quality, and friendliness. The advertised breakfast buffet is barely edible. The staff seemed increasingly resentful for convention-goers, which is their bread-and-butter. Also, there's four of the slowest elevators in existence to serve 20 floors, so leave plenty of time to get where you're going -- you may wait 10 minutes to get to the lobby. The rooms are large, though, and comfortable.

We opted for the two story with a balcony. At first it was a great room with kitchen living room two bathrooms and a king bed upstairs. But then we saw that the sink in the bathroom didn't drain. The toliet paper roll was falling off the wall. There wasnt hot water in the shower. The balcony had musty water dripping from the gutters. The skylight needed repairs. The hotel needs so minor repairs. For what we paid I would have stayed at the candlewood suites or comfort inn and suites instead.
