ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

I had a great stay in the hotel Everything is very perfect which makes me and my colleagues had the most comfortable stay for seven days. Our stay was very relaxing and satisfying. The staff was very welcoming from the time we enter the hotel till we reach our rooms. Buffet experience was good as well. Surely to go back soon. Keep it up!

The place is like a paradise. They welcome you like a family and make sure to help if you need anything. They offered free pick up from and to the place where you wanted. The breakfast is very delicious. The next day they provided me with a lunch meal when I asked. A delicious homemade meal prepared by the professional chef. The house is lovely and the rooms are very nice and comfortable.

My brother really likes to stay at this hotel since we were kids. He deeply loves the atmosphere and the great interior all over the place. Their food was incredibly great and terrific! I admired their wonderful, reliable, and reasonable service! This hotel is highly recommended. See you next time, guys!

Beautiful entry and the staff was amazing!

The staff was informative with local hot spots, upon encountering an issue with the shower Maintenance was polite and fast in resolving our problem. Front desk person the next morning was extremely helpful with our checkout and skilled in problem resolution.

Downsides: the shower was broken in our first place so we moved to an additional room at 2am to try to get a working shower and in the new room it appeared dirty and rusty. The 2nd room overall was less than desired condition. Also $36 parking fee seems like a waste since we were told we did not need a parking pass to park in their garage and they did not take note of our license to know which vehicle we were.

Well i didn't stay here due to travel restrictions. I called and cancelled my reservations and received my notice through email. The person I spoke to was very understanding about the cancellation. Later on I checked my government credit card because I haven't used it and they of course charged me. I am sure this happens but as a Diamond member that stays at a lot of Hiltons this is a first. When i do start my travel again I will remember this place and make sure I do not stay here. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to clear up bogus charges on a government credit card. ***Update*** called and everything was cleared up.

The embassy suites had a lovely layout! I was there for a party in one of the hotel event rooms and it was neat and the bar wasn't too close from it. Happy Hour was definitely a treat! The overall layout of the suites made the hotel look like an indoor forest which I thought looked unique and the rooms we were in we're clean! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here on night before our morning flight and it was very nice and close to the airport! The free afternoon snacks and breakfast were tasty too! One of the most comfortable beds, I've slept in at a hotel!

Very nice hotel! Friendly staff and clean rooms. The shower fixture was a little wonky but other than that the hotel room was nice. I forgot my yeti flask in the room and the maids found it and returned it to me out front. Awesome one night stay and would recommend!

Good Location: great, near LAX Good Rooms: great, clean and spacious Bad Service this time: I called the front desk for a blanket and a razor. Nothing happened in the next 30 minutes so I called again (10 minute wait on telephone). After 10 more minutes, someone finally shows up, but they only brought the razor and had no idea that I requested a blanket. I had to make another request and finally got it. Other than that, it's a good hotel and I'd probably stay here again.

This Embassy Suites was good. We appreciated having quiet so we could sleep. The staff was helpful. We called down to ask how we could warm up our room because it would only run the AC. The staff brought up a mini heater that did a terrific job warming up the living room. I also want to send a shout out to the 2 breakfast cooks. They make some really good omelets!! Great experience.

Stayed here only one night on my way out of town. I stayed here because it was close to the airport and had a shuttle. The rooms are nice. The living room is on the inside, and all the rooms face inside the hotel. This made it quite noisy as it echoed in the atrium of the hotel. Luckily, the bedroom was separated by a door and it was quiet. Shuttle in the morning was on time.

My second home when in LA- was so excited to return. Every room I’ve had I’ve enjoyed, clean rooms, clean bathroom, the drawer unit in bedroom my current stay seems to have bad rollers so they are a bit touchy but totally cosmetic and wasn’t worth complaining about when settling in. Can’t wait to return! Update: returned and I’m just as excited as the first time I arrived. Sharon, front desk weekday mornings, is so unbelievably helpful and accommodating a true ambassador of the brand. The company should be proud, a true asset to the overall function and experience. Thank you Sharon! Tip for travelers: parking in hotel lot is free 7am-evening to avoid paying parking tickets on the street!

Decent Hotel-- Staying here was not a bad deal. It's a bit pricey to be as outdated as it is but not horrible. I had a two room suite with balcony and when I first arrived it smelled like smoke. Let it air out a bit and things were better. The bathroom ceiling was a bit rusted but was very clean. The proximity of the hotel to LAX is less than 3miles which made it very convenient. The courtyard for the hotel was beautiful and always immaculately clean. The made to order breakfast was amazing as with most Embassy Suites. The parking is $30 a night for self parking in the garage and there is off the street parking around the hotel. Word of caution with the off the street parking: El Segundo has their own regulation for parking that differs from the state. Make sure you are going by the proper guidelines to not get cited. 3 stars for the expensive self parking (not valet), exposed rusted ceilings and the construction site directly outside my balcony. Other than those things I would probably stay here again.

Brilliant hotel with very good views of airport. Rooms are very nice with seperated rest area, good glazing. Sliding door onto small balcony, fridge. Very comfortable bed. Tea making facilities, clean tidy and good bath/shower. Bar area that sells meals. And large area for breakfast with pretty nearly everything you could want. Polite and friendly staff. Free shuttle bus to and from terminals. Gift shop.

I fly through LAX a few times a year and I’m not Hilton rich, so I expect good service for my money but I stayed three days this time and loved every minute! It is a beautiful place, I was treated like a Hilton Honors Club highest level. I’m not.
Breakfast is amazing, with made to order or cereal, yogurt, and all that stuff. The they have a cocktail and munchies thing in the evening.
The pool is indoors, the hot tub is hot, I’m sold. When you find everything you want, why keep looking!

It’s not too loud for being across the street from LAX. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were pretty good size but bathroom was a little small for a hotel bathroom. One of the best breakfast buffets I’ve seen at a hotel and it’s free for guests. Pool is small and so is the gym but overall they are in good condition and usable. Parking fees were high at $30 per night but street parking is available. This is a great place for families and the ambiance is great.

Great location if you're travelling through LAX. Parking is 30 dollars which is a lot for self parking but there are always spots and it is safe. Street parking is also possible with ease. Breakfast lines get really bad starting at 7am so be ready for that. Some rooms don't have windows which I find really weird! Otherwise super nice hotel with great facilities. Pro-tip: walk towards imperial Ave 5min down the street and you can see all the planes at LAX and the runways!

My colleague and I stayed here after a work conference in Anaheim. We were flying out of LAX and didn't want to drive up from Anaheim the same day as the flight. We paid about $50 less for the suites here than we did for much smaller rooms at the place we were at for the conference. We got a lot more for our money at Embassy. The place is beautiful, the employees friendly, rooms clean, and breakfast was actually pretty good. We will definitely stay here again and again.

The hotel was beautiful. The main lobby area was great. The indoor pool was warm and perfect for my son to swim in. It can get a little humid, but there is a door to the outside that can be opened. The complementary breakfast was pretty decent and the little mixer at night was lovely. My only complain was that my window was pointless. You couldn't see anything out of it. It was frosted over. That was pretty disappointing for our mini vacation. There's also a 24 hour Starbucks nearby if you have a caffeine addiction like I do. Haha.

Great staff, clean rooms. Made to order breakfast was really good every morning. Then after long day great managers reception. But could mix up the snacks a little more. The chips and cheese got old by the end of the week. Over all nice stay would return if in the area next trip.

I stayed here last weekend , I am a employee stayed employee rate . Beautiful hotel lobby is just amazing . Breakfast was good :) two things i checked in room 105 it smelled like a smokers room tried to ignore it but I couldn't. I did let front desk know it was taken care of and I apologized about complaining as for I understand even though he didn't look like he cared never smiled or even acknowledged me as a employee honors member or anything and I treat everyone the same when they check in to my property which was really a shock for me. Every other employee was amazing helpful and smiling making me feel welcomed thank you for a great stay will return soon :)

The suites are wonderful, it gives you a feeling of being at home. there is a living room equipped with a bureau if you want to get some work done. that way you don't feel that all you are staring at is the bed. it is clean and the staff is courteous. the only reason i gave it a four is just because i do not like the way they run their shuttle service, the only way that it comes to the airport is by request which i thought was odd. when i kept seeing all other shuttles from surrounding hotels. There is also two Embassy Suites, North and South so you need to know which one you are going to.

Cool open air concept hotel close to LAX. The staff was very accommodating, but 2 of the 3 rooms we had smelled of mildew. They also had large fans in the lobby assuming drying out the carpets. So not sure what was going on but if there were issues we should have been notified prior to arrival in my opinion. Other than that our stay was good. They have airport shuttles leaving frequently which is also a nice amenity.

We enjoyed a very pleasant visit to this hotel. It's close to LAX, and that made it easy to manage our rental car and getting to/from the airport.

What we liked:

The complimentary breakfast - the food was hot and fresh.
Complimentary happy hour.
The decor was warm and inviting, and the water features were relaxing.

What we didn't like:

Parking in their garage is 30 bucks per day - that's way too high.
The line for the breakfast grill was usually pretty long - I watched one person stand in line for 27 minutes.

Great hotel and very convenient location for LAX. All Embassy Suites have great breakfast but this one was fantastic. The evening reception was great as well. Hats off to the bartenders who remembered what I like to drink after only a couple of days. Will definitely stay there again.

We love staying at this hotel! It's an incredible value with free breakfast and the happy hour. The lobby is impressive, and having a separate"living room" in the rooms was so helpful for letting my 6 year old rest while some of our friends were socializing. I do think 2 queen size beds would be better for families, and I would recommend that management consider a policy of laundering the extra blankets in the plastic bags in the closet at least monthly - we tried to use the one in our room and it seemed a bit... crusty... But I suspect it was an anomaly because otherwise, our suite was in perfect condition. Highly recommend- we will be back!

Rooms were nice and clean. Had issues with loud Neighbors that did not get taken care of at 4:30 in the morning. The happy hour was nice but there was only one type of snack and if you did not like salsa cheese and chips then there was no snack. Breakfast was great.

Very nice hotel. Nice design. Feels like they brought an outdoor courtyard indoors. They have complimentary hot breakfast with made to order meals, coffee, juice, pastries, oatmeal , and etc. Also complimentary snacks and beverages including alcohol in the evening. Rooms are cozy. The beds are comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel. All windows across the south-facing side do not open and are blocked by a white plastic film. Several members of my business party, and I, all felt varying levels of claustrophobia and we all felt "trapped." (Keep in mind it's a large building, and the rooms all feel very far from the entrance.) You should stay here only if you're able to secure a room on the north-facing side. Also, several of us had mold growing on the grout in our bathroom showers. In addition, my bathtub was chipped and had a rust stain. I've had very good success with Embassy Suites hotels in other cities and was very much dismayed by my stay in this one. (Why are the windows blocked by plastic film????)

Pros:
Happy Hour at night with free alcohol and snacks, Breakfast in the morning.Environment is clean.
Cons:
No privacy in living room area due to designs
Housekeepers/Maids still comes in to your room even with Do Not Disturb Sign hanging and didn't get compensation for the inconvenience too.

Total no privacy

We ended up stranded due to a flight delay and were put up in this hotel. Our stay was so nice we almost forgot about our flight issues. The hotel itself is beautiful with a large open space and all the rooms facing inward which provides a safer feel. They have a bar that is open until midnight, a gift shop, and a complimentary breakfast with am egg station. The suites were huge with several sinks and a dining room table. I would absolutely come back.

Stayed here 4 nights. This hotel is near the airport so it's pretty busy with many different types of travelers (business, leisure, etc) - but you could barely here an occasional plane. The hotel was nice, but seemed a bit humid. Our room had an odd odor...almost like an "old" smell to it. The room was very muggy. Other than that, the room was pretty clean, and the breakfast was nice. We did use the pool and jacuzzi, but as I mentioned, many travelers so it was always busy in there. We also ordered room service, no problems there. Staff was pleasant. But due to the room and the hotel itself feeling muggy & humid...I don't think we would stay here again.

Love this place! Manager's reception was cool and totally abused it lol.
Breakfast was great I'm sure.
I ordered Domino's online (paid online too) and had it delivered here. The restaurant & room here are overpriced.
Paid about 5 extra bucks to get a high floor balcony. Really neat view of the airport and fun to watch airplanes take off and land.
Friendly staff!

Staff was great. The rooms weren't too bad. Interesting setup of the hotel with trees and fish pond indoors. The breakfast lines are a little crazy after 10am. The breakfast itself was nauseating after eating them. Stick to cereals and yogurt if you cant stomach awful eggs/sausages.

Bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom. Only complaint was the room smelled a little odd. But we had a pull out sofa, refrigerator, coffee maker. We had a total is three sinks in this room. Random, but very helpful in the morning! :-) oh and a nice four chair table that was crucial for us being able to work at!

Nice looking hotel with rooms over looking the central atrium looby and seating areas. Does give a sense of quiet but this hotel is by no cheap. In UK you could almost get last minute deal flights and hotel to Spain got a week for the cost of the overnighter do as you may expect quite business orientated. Aircraft photographers or spotters will like location. Limited rooms with direct runway views, and limited in action as buildings obscure but it is ten minutes walk from Clutters Park with great views over the airport. Hotel shuttle bus good. Check in staff friendly I felt. Bar area overpriced and food not wonderful by any means. Rooms with sitting areas pleasant.

Like most Embassy Suites it's clean and well maintained. However, the staff isn't all that friendly or helpful. They also don't make it clear that the airport shuttle doesn't run regularly at night and you need to call. Even after calling twice it took 45 minutes to get there. May have been a fluke, but overall didn't get a good customer service vibe. By contrast the Embassy Suites LAX North is far newer, more pleasant, and easier to get to. The rooms are bigger at North, also. Book there if you're staying near the airport.

This hotel attracts a lot of business travellers. The rooms are spacious and decent. Breakfast is nice with made to order omelets. There is a reception with some free drinks and appetizers at night. An average sized bar open late and indoor pool and hot tub. Interior of hotel is opened up and 5 stories high with glass elevators. Really like the look and decor. 2 levels of parking under hotel for a fee. Parking on street has limited hours and I've seen the police giving tickets in morning.

We arrived late, and were able to get our room easily. Parking was an extra 29 dollars, but the underground garage was nice and the elevator was near our room, so it was worth it. The beds and room were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast package we got was excellent. Nice buffet and an omelet station. Overall an excellent stay.

Excellent location, very close to LAX and off the end of the 105fwy making it a convenient location for meetings and gatherings. Location offers street and underground parking. The inside is a very unique and beautiful setup with rooms opening up to an atrium/courtyard area. Price for rooms were relatively reasonable and clean.

One can never go wrong with an Embassy Suites.

The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable. The architecture was beautiful. I ate at the restaurant in the hotel and it had tasty and healthy options. The prices were reasonable. The only downside is that there isn't much near the hotel at least for the short time I stayed. I wasn't able to explore around. But if you need a comfortable place to stay before flying out or have a flight cancelled I'd recommend staying here.

I visited this location to meet a friend in town. The bar area has a nice layout and they offer a happy hour of drinks and snack foods such as nachos, vegetables and popcorn. There are a few tv's so you can keep up with any sports event. Overall it was a nice spot to hang out before dinner.

This place is set up like a mix between a good Embassy Suites and a prison block which I may not have noticed if not for the 25 to 30 min line you wait in for the breakfast. Of two days they ran out of plates for 10 additional min and trays indefinitely. Eating areas were uncleaned and mostly unbussed at both 9:30am sat and 8am Sunday.

The staff seem to be highschool educated and everything seemed a bother for them.

The echo from all the ruckus out in common areas was constant through the nights making it difficult to sleep.

We attempted to use the pool several times, it was tiny and over the maximum capacity on two occasions. On every visit there were very loud rough housing teens making it impossible to swim with my 7 year old.

Avoid this place.

Close to the airport with all of the typical Embassy features that you love, aka managers reception and breakfast. Convenient underground parking. Onsite gift shop with a good selection of snack items and tourist trinkets. The rooms are a little dated and the room I was in had seen better days but far from horrible.

Enjoyed the stay. The suite was nice but a smaller format than what I am used to. The pool was problematic since no one was around to enforce rules. I had concerns for my younger kids safety.

Rooms are nice and clean. I didn't like the fact that we had to call the valet to get us some help with our luggage. Also, 29 bucks for us to park our car overnight was ridiculous. Room service food was good. They offer free drinks from 5pm to 730pm which was great.

Do not disturb sign was out yet a maid walked right in. Was woken up by a maintenance man at 7am who said the shower needed to be fixed but turned out he had the wrong room. Beautiful hotel & delicious food although you will pay over $20 for a burger & fries.

Hotel room was good. When calling first services, they seem to be boggled down for the evening. Called twice, each time they tried getting me to "come get it" as it would be faster or cheaper. Isn't one perk of staying in a hotel is having this kind of service available? Overall, good stay.

Compared to other Embassy Suites, this is a good one. Excellent interior courtyards, restaurant and bar areas. Nightly free drinks and snacks which gets crowded fast, so does the breakfast. Don't buy the $30 parking, park for free on the surrounding streets.

It is a nice hotel for the price. The indoor pool is the reason why I stayed there. Lots of locals use this place for a birthday party location so the pool and hot tub get nasty. The bonus is the complimentary breakfast and happy hour. You can't beat the value or the location.

Wost coleslaw in the universe. I am at this hotel 2 times a month. I also LOVE coleslaw. First time trying your coleslaw and it is terrible. Please go to the market and buy pre-made coleslaw. It would be infinitely better. I will be back in one month to try your coleslaw. If it is better... I will change my review.

Poor bang for the buck. Small room, tiny bathroom and this for a suite. They couldn't help me out when I forgot my shaving cream, which isn't their job, but is a usual convenience offered by every hotel I've previously asked. 25 minute lineup for check in. No tissue papers in room. Esthetically passably pleasing from exterior and lobby. Wouldn't be my first choice for airport hotel

This was a very nice hotel to have a meeting. The room was comfortable, the food was good, and everything was all set up on time. They also were also very accommodating and offered me a new mother's room which is extremely helpful when traveling for business.

The hotel was ok, the restaurant was very expensive. The happy hour was good and so was the shuttle to the airport - and from the airport. You just want to ensure you are in the right spot for when shuttle is picking you up at LAX.

Old and disappointing.

The climate control is messed up. It controls the entire hotel on one setting. The climate control in the room has no effect on the temperature of the room. They gave us a personal heater instead to make the room warmer.

The window was opaque. I've never been to place where you couldn't see outside!

The staff was not able to provide us extra blankets or a crib.

The pool is cool. You have to pay for overnight parking.

And the list goes on...

This place was really great! We were on our way back from a vacation where the whole place had universally terrible service and this place was like a breath of fresh air. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was very clean and nice, there were tons of extras that came with the room, and the hotel was overall really wonderful looking. We were put up by American Airlines so I am not sure how much the room actually costs but I know 300 bucks would be more than fair. Definitely a great place to get stuck for the night.

Some good, more bad...

Great location, nice common areas, happy hour events. Rooms are spacious. Suite has front room and bedroom.

The bad:

Exceptionally expensive parking ($28/night).

Room was very damp - no windows to air it out.

Front part of suite has no opaque curtains - anyone can see in.

Oh, and saw a huge roach in my room.

Beautiful. View of LAX was actually nice. Sound was totally obliterated inside. Food was wonderful. Concierge was great. All staff were lovely. Would be glad to stay again.

What one expects of an Embassy Suites.

Great hotel, appropriate prices; parking available using their underground garage (we tried to park outside on the road, near the hotel to avoid additional charges, but didn't get a free spot). The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and rather huge. The location is convenient - you can reach the airport within minutes. The room we had was clean and large enough to accommodate three (2 adults, 1 baby in baby crib). Unfortunately, despite the fact that the hotel is supposed to be smoking-free, we got a room someone smoked in. They tried to cover the smell, but it was still present. Since we only stayed for one night we decided to accept this, since it wasn't too bad either.
Breakfast is served buffet style in a large area on ground level; it was rather crowded and loud down there, but the breakfast itself was rather good as well was the selection.
Be sure to get there early enough - they close down all the vending machines for beverages, all electronic devices for toasts etc. and the cooking area for your eggs, bacon and sausages exactly on time. One minute too late, you won't get anything ;-)

Good stay. Staff were kind, hospitable and accommodating. Our room was without a view, but very spacious and comfortable nonetheless. Hotel location is recessed away from more heavily trafficked parts of LA/LAX. Good for peace and quiet, less convenient for tourism purposes.

A but pricey but no more than other LAX hotels nearby. The've got on the house - a great happy hour, with free drinks and heaps of snacks and a bang up breakfast that gives Dennys a run for the money. All included in the price of your room. Nice pleasent environment. Dinner at the bar, I ate a gourmet hamburger $22 but oddly, it was worth it. Excellent quality ingredients. Pillows too smooshy and room was so quiet I couldn't sleep. I'm one of those that need some background noise.

This hotel is a bit further away from the airport than the one in airport road. That's actually both good and bad. Less noise, better neighborhood, but more time to get to the airport in the morning. The shuttles run every half hour.

The rooms and building seem a bit old and in need of updates which appear to be slowly happening.

My biggest complaint is that the place to wait for the shuttle is also the designated smoking zone and I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. I stood here this morning wheezing while I waited for the shuttle.

Pleasant hotel. Friendly services. Excellent cook-to-order breakfast. Only drawback is limited tv channels with no on-demand capability.

Sub par for a Hilton associated property. Don't even try to call the front desk, operator, etc. from inside the hotel. I tried twice and let the phone RING FOR OVER 15 MINUTES FOR GOSH SAKES!!!!!

Finally, I called the reservations line and SURPRISE - they answered.

I complained to the night manager TWICE. She said that it must be my room, but I stayed here a few months previously and had the same problem.

I guess they figure once they have your money they can provide poor service but if you have money to give them, then they give you their attention.

They also charged me for two nights even though I only stayed for one.

It's a very nice hotel with a beautiful open atrium with fish ponds. Start the day with custom made omelettes, hash browns, sausage, bacon, and fruit. End your day with happy hour included. Drinks, nachos, and popcorn. The rooms are spacious, freshly decorated, and include living and sleeping areas separated with a door. Both areas have TVs. The living area has couch, desk, sink, refrigerator, and microwave. I had a nice view of the airport and could spend the evening watching planes come and go. I was worried about the noise from the airport and highway, but turned out not to be an issue. Parking is in an underground parking garage. The bad news, parking is $27/day.
