ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:

- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

The staff was very friendly. Parking was very convenient. The lobby was very nice. The room was very big. The bed was very comfortable. The tv choices were the best ive seen yet. The big problem was its dirty. The whole room could use a deep cleaning. The shower was grimy and i moved the couch to plug in a phone charger and it had trash and could use a vacuuming.

It's nice, but instead of the actual amazing buffet breakfast, all they have is sugary poptarts and cinnamon rolls desserts for breakfast. No actual food. Very disappointing

Great hotel! Very nice staff. Hotel was clean and very quiet considering there was partying going on in the room next door. I could not believe how quiet it was.

Check in was great. Thanks to Kyle displaying Excellent Customer service. This is just a FYI to others that are considering Embassy Suites Memphis Shady Grove. We would rate them 5 star but due to a few exceptions, there is a major difference between locations (Nashville/Memphis) breakfast and swimming were the high points, evening reception is not the same (chex mix, salsa, chips) only one bartender to accommodate the number of guest (must have wristband on your wrist), we booked the Premium Suite that was not stocked with the snack refreshments included in the Premium Suite package, only two wash cloths provided. For the amount of money you pay, I would expect more/better!

The 80s called and want their fitness center back. Very old equipment. I was unable to get the settings I wanted on the elliptical machine because touching the screen barely worked. And the fitness room is small. I stared at a dusty vent while working out. Probably not healthy. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and roomy. Breakfast is fairly standard hotel breakfast food. The complimentary happy hour is nice. But knowing the fitness center doesn't meet my needs, next time I'll consider a different Hilton hotel in the area.

This was my first time staying in an Embassy Suites and we thoroughly enjoyed. All the employees were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet and made to order breakfast station was a great start and the complimentary drinks were the perfect end. Pool and hot tub were pretty clean. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Grounds were well kept and the hotel is walking distance to a number of great restaurants.

Cons: Room was dirty, hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower, the stopper in the sink was broken; called and reported it twice and nothing was done about it. Called to be transferred to another guests room and was on hold for 3 minutes. Called back to the front desk, no answer. Parking is ridiculous!

Pros: A housekeeper by the name of Ramona was super sweet! She turned my frown upside down and made my stay A LOT better. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful! Smiling faces are always a plus for me. Food was delicious and happy hour put a huge smile on my face! The ambiance of the hotel was very nice.

Good located in Memphis, 20 min from the airport (car) and 20 min to downtown. Spaces rooms (one bedroom, one living room), functional bathrooms. Restaurant Crisantis on site (top Italian food) and daily happy hours. Breakfast with front cooking kitchen for eggs / Omelettes and the crew is always friendly and present. Great bar with a suitable offer. Around the hotel are several restaurants and shopping malls located.

this was our second stay within a couple of weeks at this particular Embassy. Our room was much better this time in regards to the air conditioning system. We were fully pleased for the most part. The only reason it did not get five stars for this visit was that there was a family reunion staying at the location, and while we were made to wear bands at the swimming pool to ensure that we were guests of the hotel, that was not enforced for everyone else that was there. The pool was overcrowded and kids were unattended and kept flipping the lights. Even after complaining to the front desk, the security guard came and just batted an eyelash and kept walking.

The place was very busy but still quite once your up in the room. Rooms were real comfortable with a "homey" feel. Mine was quite warm as it wouldn't cool past 77°F which made for a restless night. They also have free snacks and drinks for overnight guests.

We had numerous problems with the rooms. The first room the air conditioning was not working and it was leaking water. After 45 minutes they decided to move us to another room, which they are broke in the middle of the night. I told the person at the front desk in the morning about the air in the second room and that I tried to call numerous times but nobody is answering the phones. He rudely stated that they were very busy due to check outs. I assumed he was sending somebody else for the air conditioning but nobody came and we ended up leaving without even taking showers. When checking out it took 20 minutes because another guest was having an issue in front of us and there was no one else to help. Eventually a very nice lady came and helped us and comped the room and apologized for the service. I honestly could care less about the money as we have two young kids with us.

Clean facility and friendly staff. Breakfast was well done like most Embassy Suites. It’s clearly an older building that has been well maintained and modernized. A good value.

After traveling and working all day I look forward to getting to my hotel room, however upon my arrival at 7pm there was no rooms ready! Since normal check in is 3 or 4pm I was surprised. Instead of apologizing and maybe offering me a complimentary drink or appetizer. He said "what's your number, well call you when we have a room ready." although I had an email with my reservation he was adamant to tell me they did not have me in the system. Interestingly I am to assume the other 3 people sitting and waiting didn't have reservations either!
I expected a much better customer service experience, especially in a situation like this.

Very nice hotel as far as being members that is as I have not stayed as a non member. It seems very fancy inside as well as huge with 5 stories. Kids enjoyed the view from elevators as they got on to go to downstairs. Beds are amazing to sleep in as well cause I for one slept till literally 12:25

I came to the hotel for a professional meeting. The hotel was clean and the room where our event was held was up to date and nice. I was impressed by the size and appearance of the lobby. I would not have expected the lobby to look the way it did from the outside. Overall seemed quite nice.

The hotel is nice. Customer service was excellent. The hotel has only 5 floors and the rooms smelled a bit stale. The inside of the hotel could use some upgrades. I have visited better or more modern Embassy Suites around.

The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is I did not stay in a room. I attended a training seminar. The lobby was very clean and the staff was very kind, courteous, and helpful. If the room are anything like the lobby it is a definite 5 star.

Check in was easy. Room was large and clean, had a couch/desk area that was a nice addition. They do free cocktail hours in the evening. Staff was friendly. They give a little bag of goodies on check in, just stuff like water and snacks but it was nice. Only complaint is something happened with my card and the card of at least a few other guests. Tried to go back to my room after midnight one evening and door wouldn't open, they had to check me back in basically to get it working. Still would stay again, no other issues.

Great hotel. Good breakfast and free drinks from 530-730. Only issue was it took a long time for the water to get hot and sometimes just warm if your room is in back of hotel. Other than that great place to stay at. Highly recommend for Memphis area.

The hotel staff was wonderful. Made you feel welcomed and attended. The free breakfast had a great selection. The happy hour drinks were good, strong. The appetizers could have been better. Conference rooms were a bit too warm for my test. The room was nice, good cleaning service. Although, room did have a moldy/musky smell that never went away. Overall, good experience.

Had to stay here for 4 weeks during an unexpected plumbing issue with the house. Its a really nice place, great managers specials for drinks and snacks and a really nice indoor pool. Plus having a Grisanti's restaurant downstairs is an added extra cool bonus. I will stay here again

My overall experience was good. The hotel is experiencing a hot water problem. You have to let the water run for 10 minutes or more to get hot water. Once it finally gets started it's fine... The breakfast choices and happy hour were exceptional. The staff was polite, the facilities were clean. Dining in the on site restaurant was good, my food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel...

The breakfast was excellent and the free Happy hour was a nice perk. They didn't end up cleaning my room one night and the floors were filthy in my room. Not as clean as I would expect from a Hilton branded hotel. The hotel overall was very warm. The WiFi is horrible in the 4th floor room I had and the cell service was spotty. The fitness center equipment needs work.

IT was very clean, the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. AND breakfast every morning was delicious. WE had our family reunion there on the 21st through the 23rd and we had a good time. It was about 200 of us with children and we all had a great time. Children loved the pool. Grown ups was in the fitness room. And at night we lounged around in the lobby or the eating area. IT was a great experience.

Stayed two nights. Couldn't believe it was an Embassy suite run by Hilton. Arrived 10 min before 4pm, waited for 40min for check-in because of no rooms cleaned and ready. After first night, the room was not cleaned, breakfast was messy, crowd, 50' long waiting line. I have been Hhonors member for many years, and had a bad experience with Embassy suite this time. Won't return.

Comfortable beds and furniture. Clean and very quiet . Indoor pool with exercise equipment. Full cooked to order or buffet breakfast with plenty of setting area and staff . Security with closed gates at night with one entrance/exit open for your safety . Need more outside lighting around Motel parking to make this 5 Star. Staff very pleasant and knowledgeable of the area and keep dining and lobby ready to great guest.

I am appalled by the lack of cleaning service. No soap in my bathroom. Asked at front desk in the morning for soap; told they send it up. Called again at noon and was connected with housekeeping, where I left a message. 5:47p and room is not cleaned. Called front desk again and finally towels were sent up. Bring yout own soap!.
7pm: Someone Came to clean the room before bed. I guess Ill add a star-3, instead of 2.

The amenities and lobby/reception area are quite nice and appear to have recently been redone. Very spacious and a large area for breakfast which is quite good for a complimentary service. I am traveling from chicago to Houston and the River Inn came up as almost 50% of the way. How wonderful to discover a magical way-station. My family and I love Embassy Suites. Although this hotel is not as beautiful as their Atlanta and Destin branches, they have the best and friendly customer service. Their breakfast is good and the wait staff (Willie Mae, Chris and Gregory) provided excellent service. Willie Mae is friendly and always checks if you need anything and Chris even help us pack our to go food and offer us high chair the moment we went for breakfast. Gregory is also friendly and deliver our kitchen needs (cups and hot chocolate) in our room. He came back twice and he is very approachable. Most of staff esp the kitchen staff were always smiling and very attentive to our needs. They even made a mickey mouse pancake to our daughter. On the other hand, Kaneisha is deliver our towels and she provided us all the toiletries we need. Tim the shuttle driver was very friendly and on time. We have a wonderful experience and service in this hotel. We will definitely come back to this place. It's very kids friendly hotel.

The restaurant has good food and a great waitperson(Jackie). Unfortunately the bartender is rude and cost them any future business. I will probably stay somewhere else in the future. The staff always seems to be pretty attentive, nice, and courteous. The rooms are nice and clean. And I haven't found anything overly the top wrong with them. The only thing that I would change our location of wall outlets to help make things easier to charge but that's nitpicking.

I went with my girlfriend to Grisantis to celebrate our being together for 6 months. The food and service were terrific, and the atmosphere was calm and rich. I would have given it five stars if bananas foster was still a dessert item (was a staple of this restaurant for quite some time).

This was by far the worse Embassy Suites we have stayed at. The room was dirty including blood stained sheets and there was a musty smell in the room. The pool was tiny which made it over crowded all night long. We were going to stay in a few weeks as well and changed our plans. The staff was friendly. I just wish all the money spent to keep the lobby area nice would also be applied to up keeping the rooms.

This hotel is under construction on the entire bottom floor and should be complete Aug 2015. The room was clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly. Workers began at 8 am but we don't sleep late so it didn't bother us. I would stay here again especially after remodeling is complete!
