Certifications

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity
• Use eco-label housekeeping products
• Use sustainable forestry certified paper

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

This hotel is very nice. They offer a free reception from 5:30 - 7:30 with drinks and snacks as well as a free breakfast. Very enjoyable. Comfortable beds and quiet halls. Would go again.

I attended a meeting for work. I am a vegan. There were about a hundred plus people at this meeting. When it came time for lunch there were no vegetarian options available. The only thing I could eat was a pickle and some potato chips. With that many people coming you would think that an organization would assume that there are at least a handful of vegetarians. I found an employee and I asked her if there were any options and she said no. later on I found another employee and I asked her if next time she could include some vegetarian options and she passing the buck toward the I guess my employer saying that they did not tell them that there were vegetarians. And then I told her that people should eat vegetables anyway and she seemed very annoyed with me discussing this with her at all. They did eventually get out some vegetable wraps however I did not know and so I did not get any lunch. I found this to be a very unpleasant experience for Hilton.

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff. Very helpful and understanding. Special shout out to the lovely security guard who had to deal with some very 'entitled' guests and did so with calm and grace.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Great breakfast, pool, suites, and people. It was such a friendly diverse group of people (workers & guests). Quiet & family friendly. I would definitely reserve this hotel the next time I come back to visit Minnesota.

We've stayed at MANY Embassy Suites, but this breakfast is by far the worst. Had to clean our own table and the food that was out was awful. Oatmeal was left over, wasn't enough fruit, french toast cold. AWFUL!!

Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly and inviting. Has a happy hour with free drinks from 5:30-7:30 pm. Snacks at the same time. Restaurant on site that makes great food. Breakfast with a made to order omlet, along with other breakfast foods that are buffet style. Multiple juice's to choose from. Room was like a little apartment so to speak. Rooms are all divided out just like a real home would be

We're staying here for a basketball state tournament. It is a nice hotel in a good location. You can get to a lot of different places quickly. The lobby and staff are great. However, on the weekends, the breakfast doesn't start till 7:30 so for early morning activities that just doesn't work out. That would be our only complaint.

The experience with the digital key was seemless. Hotel grounds are nice, people are friendly, and the location was great for my needs. Breakfast was pretty good for a buffet. I would recommend staying for business if you want an efficient and nice place to get work done without interruption

Night front desk staff was less than helpful. Did not seem interested in giving a good customer experience. Room was clean, and the morning staff was much nicer. The parking at this hotel is so bad. You can't park anywhere near a door after 8PM and there are no side entry doors. Completely ridiculous.

Room was in great shape, bed was extremely comfortable and I was able to rest easy. The only problem I experienced was the shower door was not a water tight seal despite it being fully closed. Overall, great stay for the evening.

Ive passed by this hotel a million times and never thought it would be as nice as it was. For about $120 we got a room with a fridge, microwave, couch with a hide-away bed, living room area, kitchen area two tv's. It was really nice. But.. bring your own snack. The convenient store was highway robbery for real.

Our company recently held a week-long meeting at the hotel and was very pleased by the amazing hospitality and high level of service we received. Nancy, the catering manager was incredible to work with and her staff members - Ron, Ester and Jose were second to none. The food was delicious, accommodations were great, and it was a great place to spend a week. We highly recommend!

Stayed one night to attend a wedding; staff friendly and welcoming; complimentary breakfast very good! Room spacious and attractive: would liked to have had towel bars in the bathroom. The crib we requested was not in good shape; mattress and sides very soiled/stained; glad we brought a crib sheet from home.

I was at the hotel with a group and was the lucky person who got to sleep on the pull out bed. It was an ok bed, had to call the desk to get blankets for it. Everything else was excellent. Great breakfast, nice happy hour, friendly staff, very clean.

I have stayed at the Embassy Suites for a wedding and have been enjoying a delightful experience. The hotel itself is close to the Twin Cities' downtown area. The reception and lobby is lovely, with seating, a bar, and an eating area. There is a nice - if a bit small - indoor pool. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a microwave and mini-fridge. My only complaints are the lack of a tub (shower only) and that there is absolutely no place to hang a towel: no towel rack, nothing. It is annoying to set wet towels back on the shelves. Otherwise, my experience has been delightful. The complimentary breakfast and the free happy hour drinks/snacks is a great benefit.

Stayed for a Friday/Saturday weekend trip - and really enjoyed this hotel! I travel frequently to the cities and was really impressed by the staff and room, will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We stayed in a one-bedroom king suite which was very spacious, clean and included a fridge and microwave. Bed was super comfortable, and it was great to have a separate living area with a second TV.

My only small complaint would be that the breakfast was the same both mornings we were there - would have been nice to have a little variety.

Great service at check-in. Normal evening reception with plenty of snacks--decent quality and better than the last time a year ago. Gym is clean. Breakfast is good, too. Room on 7th floor is clean and up to date.

Stayed overnight for a friend's farewell. Enjoyed the managers happy hour, as well as the breakfast included with the stay. Great set up for the rooms, and we never heard a peep from the other people on the floor. My only suggestion would be to bring a little air freshner for the bathroom if you're sharing with others!

I was at Embassy Suites for a reception following a funeral. The food was amazing and the service was amazing. I'm unsure of what was paid for by the family but there was an open bar and the selection for drinks was small. The attendant at the bar didn't seem to bar tend often. Simple drinks was all he knew.

When we first got to our room the thermostat was set to 85 degrees which was way too hot. We reset the thermostat but it never cooled down. They had us change rooms to next door and that room was much better. I just don't understand why housekeeping didn't catch that the thermostat was set so high. Also there was room service trash and towels sitting in the hallway by the room across the hall from us from the time that we first went to our room at 1:30 pm until the next day when we checked out at 11:00 am. It was noticed by the staff member who changed rooms for us but was never removed. There was also a towel hanging in our bathroom still from the previous tenant. These things were surprising since the hotel other wise seemed like a nice place. Hopefully these things can be addressed with housekeeping.

The hotel is very nice and we loved the 2 bedroom suite. It would have been nice if they started breakfast a bit earlier than 7:30 on the weekends but it was very good. Not a deal breaker. I think it starts at 6:30 week days but we were there on a weekend. The staff was very professional and helpful. Manager's reception was good as normal. Though not all the beer selections are included. So if you prefer "premium" beers bring some cash. It was nice to have a full bar option which I haven't seen at other hotels.
